Amenities are a joke.
Steamroom never works at full potential , hot tub is closed half of the time and one or two of the elevators are down at least once a month. In a 36 floor building. Not worth it. Weidner over all is awful. At least here in Minneapolis.

Avoid at all costs
One star. It's unfortunate that negative stars aren't possible. My advice: Avoid LPM Apartments and Weidner at all costs. I moved into LPM on March 1 2025 and it has been a nonstop parade of problems since day one. The building is marketed as high-end, luxury living. In reality, it is the complete opposite. This is the worst managed residential building I have ever lived in, and I would strongly advise anyone considering LPM to look elsewhere. My shower handle was broken and missing a piece when I moved in. There were a couple of times when I went days unable to turn the water on or off, which meant no shower. It took them months to finally install the simple plastic piece that fixed the issue. That level of delay is typical of their maintenance process. The elevator situation has been horrific. LPM is a 36 story high-rise with three elevators, yet we spent almost two months this summer with only one functioning. Wait times regularly exceeded ten minutes, and once you finally got one, you were packed in tightly with a dozen or more people. Their excuse was that they were always waiting on parts and blaming the vendor. If you run a skyscraper and your elevator vendor is not doing their job, you replace them. Weidner simply did not. They allowed the situation to drag on for months with almost no communication. Doors and door handles throughout the building are frequently broken. At times it is difficult or impossible to access areas you are supposed to be able to use. It is one basic failure after another. Many of the floor to ceiling windows were installed incorrectly or neglected long enough that there is now an unknown substance growing between the panes. It clouds over large portions of the glass and ruins the views the building heavily advertises. Instead of addressing this in the summer, they began replacing windows in the middle of winter with only a couple days notice while temperatures are in the teens. The outdoor pool was broken until July, which meant another amenity we paid for but did not get to use for a large portion of the year. Overall, the building is simply not maintained. Weidner allows infrastructure to break down and stay broken for long periods of time. Communication about these issues has also been terrible. They went through two property directors in a short period of time because of ongoing negligence and complete lack of communication. The newest director and management team have been slightly better but still far from acceptable. Conditions became so bad that residents formed a tenant union. Even then, Weidner and the property leadership refused to offer any concessions. No rent discounts, no compensation, nothing. The only positive thing I can say is that the assistant manager and leasing staff are very friendly and have consistently tried to help. The problem is not the frontline team. The problem is leadership and ownership. LPM has a great location near Loring Park and downtown, but that is the only good thing about living here. Everything else is a headache. I have a few months left in my lease and there is absolutely no chance I would ever renew. I strongly recommend that anyone considering LPM or any Weidner property look elsewhere. They are extremely poor property owners and managers, and I regret ever signing a lease here.

This place is GROSS. Go to Artistry on 10th instead
If you are considering living here, do not. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I highly recommend Artistry on 10th, my previous apartment, which is everything LPM pretends to be but is not. Here is a breakdown of why LPM is a disaster: DISGUSTING MOVE-IN CONDITIONS When I moved in, I found dried blood on the bathroom walls, grime and filth under the sink, and pubic hair behind the toilet. It was revolting and completely unsafe. The cabinetry under the sink is rotting and scratched. A few photos are attached so you can see for yourself. FALSE ADVERTISING OF AMENITIES The patio area shown on their website is a total lie. The photos show a luxury setup with umbrellas and cabana covers. In reality, there are no umbrellas, no cabanas, and the outdoor furniture is constantly flipped over and broken. Do not be fooled by the glamorous website pictures. They are many years old and do not reflect the current state. (The attached photo, though taken in the fall, shows how the outdoor space has looked all summer.) PRIVACY VIOLATIONS On August 15, 2024, workers entered my locked apartment to clean interior windows without notice or permission, using their own keys. Management was completely unaware this had even happened until I brought it to their attention. This is a serious security breach. How can tenants trust management when they do not even know who is entering the apartments they manage? If you value your safety and privacy, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. CONSTANT BUILDING FAILURES The entire building is in constant disrepair. Since moving in, I have received countless emails about building-wide issues: broken elevators, non-functional garage doors, and random office closures with little to no notice. It feels like the building is falling apart, and management is only putting band-aids over major ongoing problems. Worse still, the package room absolutely reeks of dog urine to the point where your packages might come out smelling like dog urine as well. NEGLIGENCE AND UNETHICAL PRACTICES LPM’s management not only fails to address issues but also acts like they are not responsible. They gave me a $300 rent credit to acknowledge the apartment’s problems, but very few of the issues have been fixed. What is puzzling is that nearly all of these issues were well-documented by the previous tenant, yet instead of fixing them or lowering the rent, they simply passed the problems on to the next renters. Final Thoughts: In summary, LPM Apartments is a total bait-and-switch. The building is unsafe, unsanitary, and falling apart. Management is either unaware of critical issues or simply does not care. The only good things about this place are Nisha and the views. If you want a living experience where management actually does its job and respects its tenants, go to Artistry on 10th. This is not sponsored by them or anything, but I loved my years there. That place was clean, welcoming, and management ran it like a well-oiled machine. If LPM takes meaningful action to remedy these issues by addressing the problems with my unit and improving overall conditions, I would reconsider or update this review. Until then, prospective tenants deserve to know the truth. EDIT 10/6/24: As if the constant breakdowns and poor management were not enough, I just discovered that the elevator permit expired on March 1, 2024, meaning it has been out of compliance for over six months. This is a blatant safety violation, and management has clearly neglected to ensure that basic safety standards are met. It is no wonder the elevators are constantly breaking down—they are operating without proper inspection or approval. Photo attached.

LPM has been VERY DISCRIMINATORY & uneducated about housing laws
So I’ll start off saying the tour was a solid 4 stars Imani did a great job with that and let us come back a second time to look and measure the unit. She also did a great job explaining to us the requirements of living there. The floor to ceiling windows were to die for. Views and amenities looked amazing. After that things fell apart - Our application was denied and we were ghosted. - Originally we were told we submitted false/fraudulent information but were not told what. But in their legal letter said nothing about this. (We would never do that) - Once we filed a legal request for a Letter of Denial they said: - 1. we were denied for not meeting income requirements. We actually made their required 3x plus 71% and within a month would be making 4.1x a months rent. D - 2. they would not accommodate 4 cats, even though we AGREED TO ONLY BRING 2 in writing to Imani, and after things went down hill found out we can legally bring all 4 per Fair Housing and ADA laws. - 3. We discovered they violated both the ADA act and Fair Housing Act regarding pets. We showed them this, cited this, and were willing to compromise but, they never responded. - During our Tour the Assistant Community Director, Imani, was telling us about S_xxxxxxxs, another potential resident, they were doing the same thing to. Including her name and information. Very illegal and a violation of privacy laws. - We gave them opportunities to work with us and solve the miscommunication about these issues, sent them mn state laws, and encouraged them to do more research, even encouraged them to reach out to their area director, but, they never responded to it. I will not live in an apartment where not one, but two, managers/directors are out to get residents, do not understand the law, aren’t even open to understanding it, are terrible with communication and have egos so high they would rather disappear and hide than face the reality that they may hurt someone’s feelings by talking to them.

They're in over their head
The building was recently sold….and holy crap I’ve never seen such a rapid decline. I believe it comes down to this…..pride. The previous owners were many things…and not always good. But they took ownership and pride in their responsibilities. Our concierge showed up early in the morning to check every nook and cranny in the common areas. She cleaned the coffee machines every morning. She checked the computers and the copy machine. She catalogued all the overnight deliveries and promptly got them to the Luxer room. She may not have been much for small talk….but I got to come home every day knowing that things were being taken care of. Weidner staff seem annoyed to be here. They’re clearly frustrated with all the complaints we’ve been giving them….but rather than be our advocates, they treat us like another annoying crisis to deal with right along side a building experiencing the first signs of being over a decade old. Greystar made it clear that they’d take care of us…..Weidner makes it clear they are tired of dealing with everything…including the residents.

Overall, it has been a great experience so far! Everyone on the management team is very friendly and professional. I am overall satisfied living at LPM no major issues to report and the minor issues like light bulbs going out have all been resolved.

This is a great place to live! Amenities are on the same floor. I do feel safe overall I don’t hear much of anything on the outside, except for the occasional firetruck go by because we live to the fire station views are great neighbors are great housing is neutral, and also very tastefully done.

The carpet in the hallway is stained with dog poop and pee. It had never been replaced since the building opened. Also the hallways for the apartments have never been repainted since the building open. The 1.1 million dollar renovation did nothing to the hallways and the inside of the apartments. But it sure did help build a fancy office space for the Greystar employees!

It’s a place. If you like amenities, great. If you like quality, pass. The look of the place is nice but it’s like lipstick on a pig (in the apartment). You’re paying for a roof over your head and amenities here. If you’re looking for a quality apartment you won’t get that with this building. There’s a lot of little things that were cost cut and designed with a lot of questioning choices. Idk this place is the epitome of capitalism corporate greed. Make it look good but don’t make it cost a lot but pass the cost into consumer. Don’t save them any money.

Great apartment units but carpets, cabinets, and kitchen and bathroom fixtures are not luxury. Their concierge staff and leasing staff on site are great but Greystar- the property company executives do not take the amenities seriously and will leave broken printers with no intent to fix or buy a new one, pools out of commission for weeks even with our short summers. The pool this year is still Only partially filled and yellow. It is June 1st so nobody could enjoy the pool on one Memorial Day Weekend. The upkeep of amenities is unacceptable and comparable to college dorm apartments. Elevators break down every other week as well or the 1 of 3 elevators is being used for moving my every other day. This place has potential but the Greystar owners do the bare minimum to keep it looking worth the rent.

Great location, nice amenities, but never a single week without major breakdowns in systems like elevators, garage doors, automatic doors, hot water, lots of violations of the smoking rules. Some of the management staff are not given the benefit of proper training and are frequently put in the middle between tenants and management with issues that deserve immediate attention and subject matter expertise.

This is more of a suggestion. On the resident portal the button should say "Pay rent/Submit maintenance request" When it just says "pay rent' tenants don't know that's the button you click to get to the page where you can submit repair requests.
