These apartments are not "luxury" as they are branded. They are great regular apartments but horrible "luxury" apartments. If you catch them on sale at a regular apartment rate then I would say stay here. Other than that please save yourself and your pockets because you will be disappointed.

Smell really bad when you walk in the gym equipment starting to breakdown and have not been serviced. The gym equipment has treadmills needs to be fixed updated also the TV usage the TV in the gym has no remote.

Overall good some smell in the lobby that seems to be fixed some trash in the bay floors not thrown daily as stated ( recycling bin) but other than that very satisfied front desk staff are great and maintenance came fast

It’s been a decent experience getting into the apartment, a little hiccup here and there but there’s been nothing but patience and consideration the entire way. I can only imagine with the history that this space has with the city that along with the new management that you all have been fighting the best you all can and I honor that.

Staff is amazing and attentive! I enjoy the community here the most, and absolutely love my unit. The only downsides is the parking situation that I have had issues with. First of all the layout is pretty inconvenient, people like to fly through the decks and it’s really difficult to see people coming from around the corner-I’ve gotten into many “close calls” in there. Additionally, the main gate that is in service is very faulty. We were locked in there for a solid 20 minutes and concierge was unable to help so we had to figure the gate system out on our own. There is also an additional monthly fee for parking, which I think is absurd given that I’m paying to be harassed my homeless people. Not to mention, the new Metropolis system started overcharging me and it created a lot of headaches. That leads me to the other downside-you have to plan to leave your apartment. It takes me sometimes well over 20 minutes just getting to my car let alone out of the parking garage. I blame this on the elevators-there are 3 total and only 2 run on a consistent basis. The reliability of whether or not those two elevators work is up to determination, because there have been several occurrences where the entire building was dependent on one single elevator. If you can move past this, then it truly is a wonderful place to live!

It’s been decent thus far, I just recently moved in and so far I’ve been satisfied with the community. The only thing I would have a complaint about is the elevator in the garage, it works but sometimes it doesn’t.

Provided detailed remarks above. $750 Gift card use'ability mis-leading. Staff and sales personnel very helpful and kind, even on a Sunday. Entrances old, rundown and too many pets making too much noise. Both driveways need daily cleaning (cigarette butts, etc) and a good pressure wash. The service entrance and loading dock area needs to be cleaned ... a lot. Provided inputs on #1807 move in condition above

The community amenities are really nice. That aesthetic is also really great. The downside is that the staff is really low and they don’t prioritize phone calls or reaching back out through emails. It took a while for my car to get registered, which is something that should’ve been sent over before I picked up my move in keys. Luckily the gift card concession did not take long to be sent over to me. The other downside is that it’s a very pet friendly environment so I think for the size of the buildings, the north and south side of the building the property needs a bigger staff to not only help with cleanliness and hold residents accountable to not respecting the properties clean this with their animals but to make sure everything is up to the appropriate standards.

My car was broken into twice in the parking deck. Dog urine is constantly in the elevator and walkway. I would not recommend anyone to live here with the current condition that it is in. No further comments.

Seamless move in. The team really helped and the process was smooth. I had a few minor items on move in day and Frankie got them all fixed on day 1. The community is nice, and people are friendly. Process for application was smooth.

It’s a cheaper place to live uptown but it’s not good quality. It smells like dog pee all the time. It’s not clean. Maintenance is short staffed so I takes weeks to get a work order done. Leasing office doesn’t respond, not even to emails. The elevators are constantly not working.

I like my unit and the building but the turf on the outside space smells like dog pee. The hallways often smell like trash. People smoke a lot and cigarette butts have burned holes in my furniture. Upstairs neighbors puked off balcony and got vomit all over my window. Leasing office said window cleaning would be done in March, it is June and still has not been complete. Homeless sleep outside the main entry points and pee against the building. My unit is in dire need of new carpet. Shower has years of soap scum and needs new tiles.

My experience in the beginning wasn’t the best however, since they changed to the Asher, I’ve seen some improvements. However, I still think they need to do the floors over in the north tower lobby, and in the hallways of the apartment looks a little bit outdated and has holes.

I love it here. I’m about to renew my lease for another year. My favorite time of year here is the summer. I’m looking forward to another rooftop summer at the pool. I see the updated made to the lobby and the interior design near the elevator. I can’t wait to see what the new patio furniture is going to look like.

SkyHouse/Ascher North has 5-star potential... but 3-star execution. The building is generally clean, but a bit more banged up than other Greystar properties in the same price range. The main positives are: the apartments are roomy, lots of amenities, and within walking distance to downtown Charlotte and restaurants. Even so, I would not recommend SkyHouse/Ascher North at this time because of the homeless that camp outside the building and the number of large breed/aggressive dogs. People need to feel safe in their community and SkyHouse/Ascher doesn't really offer that at this time. I also heard from existing tenants that there was at least one drug-related murder in the building (which I confirmed on Google). This is truly unsettling. I definitely couldn't recommend this building to someone I care about (if the situation still exists). The biggest bright spot of the community is the front desk staff. They are always friendly, attentive, and helpful.

Overpriced, unkept, reeks of smoke, inoperative amenities, and inattentive service. If I could go back in time, I would not have chosen SkyHouse Apartments. However, if you should choose to move here, definitely go with the south tower, as the amenities are actually operational for the most part, and it is kept much cleaner than the north tower.

Besides them feeding the homeless people next to the apartment (which I don't understand why Greystar hasn't asked them to do it else where), and yelling at us and coming up to us when going to the parking garage. The location is great, however the priority with the office staff is all messed up. The repainting of the hallways looks nice, but I have been living here going on 2 years and the fire pits have yet to work at the rooftop or dog park. The tile at the dog park is falling, lot of the grills are not working. Also, the elevators stay broken down (it's 2024 this shouldn't happen as often). The coffee station doesn't have cups and it is not free, which is ridiculous. One of the maintenance guys does not know how to properly balance pool chemicals and is lazy about cleaning it so he just drains it, preventing residents being able to use it for a couple of days. Not to mention they are treating us like children at the YMCA with Pool Monitors that require us to wear wristbands (we never got a notification about this). I leased this place for the pool, dog park, and location. Very frustrating when the pool stays freezing cold because the maintenance guy is constantly draining it. All outside TVs do not work (not shocking because TVS are not waterproof) great idea, would love to watch some games on the pool deck but nope never worked. The pool deck and balcony where the gym is are disgusting and need to be desperately pressure washed. It takes a long time to get a response back from the office. Besides all this, love my window in my apartment and the location.

Terrible, there are German roaches in the apartments on the 2nd & 3rd floor. The sinks bubble over with dirty water causing apartment to smell horrible. The elevators never work. Staff says they will get back to you and never follows up. Residents do not have any respect for where they live. Parking is a fiasco (good luck having guests). I guess our apartment is the hub for all homeless people to sleep at…

My experience has been great so far. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. I would recommend this community to any of my friends. The amenities are great, most of my neighbors that I’ve been so far have been very nice as well. I overall love the community and everything is has to offer.
