Besides a little bit of noise, which is to be expected when living in the heart of a busy city, Skyhouse is a tremendous apartment community. Easy access to the best that Uptown has to offer, while still being an easy on/off from 277 for days when you have to commute.

    I have the noise 4 stars due to some dogs who tend to bark a lot. It’s extremely pet friendly and you could end up with a barker, however one resident did give me her number and wanted me to reach out if the dog wouldn’t stop. If I did work the night shift and had to live next to a barking down I would probably be disappointed but I’m not sure the exact solution. As far as outdoor noise you are clearly aware there is a fire station across the street so you can’t count that against the place. One you live there you adjust. It’s like peace for me now. As for maintenance Donnie Peele is hands down the BEST. I am beyond thankful for him. He has been beyond accommodating!!!! As for the staff, they are great- you can’t get to attached though because in this industry people move and transfer all the time.

      I love SkyHouse! Moved into my studio apartment in August 2015 and just resigned my lease for another year. The apartments feature floor-to-ceiling windows with gorgeous views of Uptown, granite countertops in kitchen and bath, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, 9' high ceilings, and washer and dryer. The amenities are endless! 24 hour concierge, controlled access, spacious club room with game tables, large screen TV's, ample seating, coffee bar with free Starbucks coffee, hot chocolate, tea, fitness rooms offering free yoga classes, outdoor firepits, grilling areas, and saline swimming pool. SkyPark offers a dog park, dog wash, tennis courts, bocce ball courts, life-size chess, and practice putting green. The property manager (Carrie), rental agents (Stephanie, Cyndi, Tyler), concierges (Brandie), and maintenance staff (Scott) all provide exceptional service. There has not been a need of mine that hasn't been met. The community is pet friendly and I know of a SkyHouse resident that loves pet sitting when residents are stuck at work for the evening or out of town for the weekend....ME :). I love all the SkyHouse pets! If you are looking for a modern apartment in Uptown Charlotte, I highly recommend SkyHouse Uptown! Fantastic staff and beautiful skyline views.
