I love the location of Park and Market apartments and the units are maintained well but I do have an issue with some safety measures. For example, the fire alarms go off so often that it is a hinderance to people's safety. Residents no longer leave the apartment when the alarms go off because they go off so frequently. Additionally, a lot of the entry way doors are broken or do not shut all the way so anyone not a resident of these apartments could get in. Specifically the floor 3 door from the parking garage and the ground level door from the parking garage as well. Lastly, we have had maintenance issues as well where our amenities have not been fully fixed. For example, since I moved in August 2023, our microwave door has had issues. I have put in multiple requests to have it fixed and the most recent time the microwave was superglued together instead of a real fix. There are tons of safety concerns I have that need to be addressed.

It's a Mid-rise apartment community in the middle of a busy shopping/entertainment district. The noise and traffic comes with the territory. However?? Needs security cameras at every entrance and stairwell. Along with a consistent, better parking gate.

Park and Market was great when I first moved in but the quality has diminished significantly over the last couple years. Something is always broken, e.g. an elevator, key fob access to a door. Common areas are dirty. It's not uncommon to see pet waste in the elevators and carpeted hallways. The hallways smell like marijuana as well as the parking deck which has been defaced with vandalism. It's also very loud at night and especially on weekend nights. The noise from outside (e.g. vehicles revving engines, loud music, yelling) is so bad at times, I can barely sleep. Currently, Park & Market looks, sounds, and smells like you're living in a college dorm, not a luxury apartment building.

Park & Market is a Great place to live! I've been here over 12 yrs & overall hv had a Pleasant experience. The lack of parking is a major issue & will end up being My Waterloo. My Aunt is handicapped & for yrs came & visited monthly. Not anymore! Everybody in their mother parks in the handicap spaces and nobody does a damn thing about it. Thats WRONG but isn't going to change & that's a shame!

Something in the gym is always broken(typically a treadmill) which is somewhat frustrating. Door fobs and elevators are consistently broken and take a long time to get fixed. Most office staff are dismissive to residents. The area is very nice.

Decent living..Prejudiced Woman in the Office
This is a warning to anyone who dislikes shady office staff and racially motivated behavior. The living is decent for its cost but there is a girl in the office named Norbeli Mendez who uses the n-word loosely. She said it to me at the pool about 6 times. It is so nasty in general to use that word but especially because she is not a black person(in any sense) So what has possessed her to behave in that manner? I do not even know. She would invite me up to her apartment(never went) and has even asked me if I smoke or want to come to the parties that she throws on the seventh floor. I have never hung out with her. I did not even know her last name until googling it today and I do not consider us to be friends. But I have come across other residents who referred to me as Lizard because they thought that was my name as she refers to me by that animal so often. I do not know anything about that woman or her life so I am quite shocked that she has felt comfortable over her months working here to use a racial slur with me, invite me to do drugs in her apartment and assign me a nickname based on whatever fantasy that she has created from our minimal conversations. She was extremely nice and professional the first two times I worked with her so believe me when I say, I waited to post this review because I wanted to believe that I was being sensitive or misinterpreted these interactions. I reported her to corporate and they executed an investigation on her behavior.

All is great EXCEPT for elevators. We have yet to have both lobby elevators working at the same time in many months! Need trash shute on 2. Garage door on 2 does not easily close allowing strangers in. Otherwise we love it here!

No one cleans the hall I live on. It's never vacuumed and always smells like the garbage room. The trash chute is always clogged and backed up and smells awful. I don't like that I have to use and pay for fetch without any choice. Who cares about a bike room? Why does the garbage company pick up trash at 3am sometimes? It sounds like a giant metal robot smashing the ground at 3am. The remodel looks nice. The people in the office are usually really nice.

I'm not having a great time, there's always some kind of construction or elevator broken and it's extremely inconvenient. There is ALWAYS something wrong, the front office is never any help. I was excited to move here, and now i'm excited to move out!

It was a rocky move in experience with very little communication from the leasing office during the application and move in process. Extremely difficult to get in touch with agents and/or managers. Our concerns were addressed immediately with the help of one manager when we went to the office in person. There are concerns with the parking garage and safety as risky behavior is carried out by drivers. Restrictions have been put on the communal areas and offerings as residents have abused privileges, which is a disappointment. However, this is not a reflection of the leasing office as they try to mitigate these issues and keep the community clean. The renovations have been a nice enhancement to the building. It's a great location and provides desirable upgraded living features.

I have three main concerns: 1) Noise - The building is poorly built because the noise level is HIGH! When I stay at the Hyatt House across the street I don't experience the high level of noise from outside and the people walking above! 2) Pets - The number of pets to people is too High for my liking! I would prefer to live on a floor without dogs!!! The pet waste is a problem! Weekly I'm avoiding walking in poop or pee! It's gross and it takes weeks before the complex cleans the feces!! This makes me crazy! 3) Recycling - A facility this large should have recycling on every floor. I've never taken a tour so I don't know where recycling is. I even called to ask and still did not get the correct information. I've completely stopped recycling and it's something I take pride in doing but not at Park and Market. Also, the trash room is gross. It should be maintained daily because it's a trash room and people have different standards of cleanliness!! Needless to write, I'm highly disappointed in my resident time at Park and Market and will not be signing another lease with y'all because of the above reasons. No one can justify paying the exorbitant rent rates for these inadequate conditions!

Was great when I moved in, in 2011. Went downhill very, very quickly when retail downstairs and Kings was built. That should not even be here in North hills because it was a family bowling place and it turned into a freaking nightclub where cops are sitting outside there's been a shooting down there and the staff here tried to hide it from us and their security around there's people loitering in the parking lots coming into the building the elevators are always broken. There's cockroach issues in this building I could go on and on but I've already reported all this throughout the years and I am not in a good place with Park and market and I could put some stuff in here that I've already sent up to your corporate because it's that bad. High level of being a dirty and unsecure place. I moved in here for the security now people here park up on the resident level, leaving nowhere to park for the residents because you only give the residents literally two levels out of the entire building to park and you have the gates up they don't even work anymore the gates are never put down anymore so everybody just comes through them and when they are down idiots go through them and then you guys just don't put them down again, RIDICULOUS! THE TOWING IS NOT ENFORCED ANYMORE ALTHOUGH MY CAR WAS TOWED WITH MY PERMIT ON MY FREAKING CAR SO YOUR TOWING GUYS DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING! There is no towing anymore. The doors of the building are constantly open for the public they don't latch anymore, so people walk in from the public late at night and roam halls and in stairwells. Cars have been vandalized including my own. The maintenance team is horrible there has only really been one good team and that was a very long time ago. They either break your stuff or they don't know how to fix it or you have to tell them how to fix it or they just plain ignore you!!! I'm already in the process of my own actions towards park and market.

Amazing! Love the office and maintenance staff, I haven't had any issues. The community is very walkable with restaurants and retail basically at your door step. I couldn't ask for more! Would recommend to anyone.

For the most part, my experience has been fine. I am happy the hallways are getting updated because the 6th floor carpets have been disgusting. I am unhappy that people in the building don't clean up after their pets in the hallways and stairwells. I totally understand accidents happen, but it is gross seeing poop just left behind for weeks on end and extremely unhygienic. Not sure if the community would ever implement one of those programs where dogs DNA are registered so if someone doesn't pick up after their pet, they will get fined. I do enjoy that the apartment leasing office is engaging more with us residents with fun activities! I think safety could be improved with the parking garage

Mostly positive except for maintenance issues. Elevator problems are constant with the latest elevator being out of service now out for over a month. Staff does not update residents ad to progress. Turnover of staff adds to ineffective management. Currently we are told they are planning a "surprise" to thank residents for their patience. Really? Better and more frequent communication would be more appreciated than an event.

It started out great. Staff has always been friendly and attentive. Kudos to the staff!!! They could improve by communicating building issues more timely. Most recently the maintenance of core services has started to fail. 2 of 3 elevator out for weeks and security doors don't close. A reno is underway so the place is looking better. Just need to focus on the things that relate to safety.

I have lived here since the property was initially managed by Kane. The overall quality of the property has been severe decline since Greystar and Bell have taken over. Issues are reported and are either no response or not addressed. Emails are not responded to & nobody ever answers the phone. The cleanliness of the halls, trash rooms & garbage areas or always nasty. Due to the above issues I along with many residents are considering leaving P&M, if they haven't left already.

I love my actual apartment unit, however this complex is less than satisfactory. I have documented at least 12 times the fire alarms have gone off at random with no real fire danger. Management has stated that it is the commercial tenants under the complex that cause the fire alarms to go off, however the commercial tenants have said otherwise. The elevators are from the age of the dinosaurs, and they constantly break/tenants get stuck on them. The pool is not regularly maintained to luxury standards -- I can look out and see that the water is cloudy and algae regularly growing. The carpets in the hallways are very stained, some tenants let their dogs urinate in the stairwells, and the overall building is just really run-down. I wish I could say more positive things about this apartment complex especially because it has a ton of potential. However, I have experienced more annoyance than relaxation in this building.

Park and market is one of the worst run apartment complexes I have ever experienced or heard of. The leasing office continues to struggle to communicate the basic needs of the residents, including towing cars WITH PARKING TAGS with a two day warning in the summer on the holiday weekend and then asking residents to pay out of their own pocket. When we spoke to the leasing office about this, they placed blame on Bell Partners but Bell Partners placed blame on Park and Market. An apartment complex that can't take accountability for it's mistakes and places blame on the other even when speaking to each other, is untrustworthy and not a place I want to trust with my money and my things. We have also experienced maintenance staff that have entered our apartment without us being told before hand. We realized they had come into our apartment when they left their trash from their tools in our apartment and the residue from their work was left for us to clean up on our floors. The apartment continually allows for residents to leave trash and dog poop in the hallways of the apartment FOR DAYS without a disciplinary action being taken. I will never rent again with Bell Partners unless drastic change has been taken to better the living conditions.

Park and market has been my home for 4 years. While initially I loved it, I have lost that love over time. I'm general, the apartment is similar to others in the area. Clean enough, responsive enough. However, I have noticed that common areas have been less of a focus, the pool is nasty, and the hallways are gross. The new mail system is mandatory and we now have to pay for a service that isn't all that great. The type of person living in the community has changed as well. While not necessarily bad, it's just not the same fun environment it used to be.

Nice apartment but noise at pool is unreal after hours. Not controlled at all and very rude. Trash not put in proper places just left in the trash room on floor. Nasty. Night time noise needs to be fixed.

Not too bad. Pet owners allow their dogs to pee and poop anywhere without any consequences. The fitness center is always dirty, and the equipment needs to be upgraded. The game room needs to be upgraded too. I pay for pest control, so I want the Terminix person to treat my apartment every time they are on site. Those large roaches can be a problem. The carpets in the hallways are horrible and need to be cleaned.

I would not move here. This place has gone downhill over the last two years. The elevators are never working, maintenance issues take forever to get fixed, the place is dirty (dog poop everywhere that's never cleaned up), and management is unreachable, rude and unhelpful.

Since I moved here 2.5 years ago, there have been no maintenance improvements in the hallways and elevators, walls and carpets dirty. The elevators in my area frequently have problems, sometimes takes months to "repair" them and got out of service again very quicky. Currently the two elevators in my area are having a problem and one of the stairs cannot be used. Frequent alarm discharge during the year and poor communication on alarm tests. A week ago, a parking maintenance occurred, only email communication was sent few days before and my car was removed from the parking, and I had to pay $200~ to recover my car. A lot to improve needs to happen in this community.
