This complex is not good. Hallways smell like --- and socks mixed together with some piss. Management sucks. Will not help you if you need something. Maintenance team is great though. When I first lived here for the first two years it was great. After the first community manager left and this new one Carolyn Griffin took over, I’ve hated it since.

I like living at the Harper however I would not recommended to do unstable rent increases. My 1st increase was around 300.00 this here is more than double that. That is insane in these times and especially with other surrounding properties prices left.

I have had a good experience at The Harper it has an excellent location and it has all the services to make you feel comfortable. The only thing I would like is for them to control the pets more because they get dirty.

Excellent, except the noise and smell coming from the grill, the corridor carpet which retains dog’s poop and the design of apartments which combines the kitchen with the living room and provides very small room for clothes and storage. These are big disqualifying disadvantages.

I just moved in late May and I am very satisfied with Harper. The leasing staff are very knowledgeable, they helped to answer any questions we had. This is a great apartment, rooms are spacious, plenty of amenities to choose from and an easy commute to Port Authority.

This residence was great at the beginning , now is not the same anymore. Some residents mostly from low income and section 8 are causing noise disturbance mostly in weekend, many strangers are roaming around the building at anytime. Garbage not properly disposed. People smoking in prohibited areas such as garage in third floor building 110 as an example and more prohibited places. Parents do not teach or clean the toys their kids use in the playroom so all the toys are on the floor which can cause a hazard for some young children. Some residents don't appreciate the amenities they abuse them. kids running around unsupervised.

We are happy at the Harper. It is a clean and well equiped comunity. Pricing is medium-high level and there is not 3 bed apartments, these are the main bad points in our view. Very nice staff at the leasing Office

I love it here. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Community members, for the most part, are respectful of one another and the space. The leasing and maintenance staff are excellent and friendly. The amount of dogs, or dog excrement can get irritating and people often play music late into the night, well after quiet hours. The noise issue doesn’t seem to occur at every apartment, obviously - but I’m one of the unlucky ones who has an immensely inconsiderate neighbor who plays music on a speaker until 2am on a daily basis,

I’m a resident of the Harper in Secaucus since Aug 2018. I love living here. The grounds are perfectly maintained with beautiful landscaping. We have a great walking/jogging path that I always enjoy to unwind. The management and staff are friendly and professional in meeting our needs and providing a great living atmosphere. And I love my apartment. The kitchen is updated and I cook often. Big windows so lots of light, and the management just hired a company that cleaned all the outside of the windows. It’s simply a pleasure to come home to so I just resigned the lease for my 5th time. And I feel good about it.

The Harper appears to be a nice place to live however, my experience has been very horrifying with pest control issues every year since living here. Instead of management pretreating the inside and outside of apartments they instead you experience an infestation of ants each year.

This is a great place to live. The community has a walking trail, a dog park, and a park for children. It also has a pool, bbq grills, and community rooms that have pool tables and other amenities. Having 3 gyms throughout the complex makes exercising a breeze!

I think that the property is alright. I think that some members of the community staff can be rude and condescending and at times rather unprofessional. Marcela is one of the shining stars of the community and goes above and beyond for me even when she is not working, I can not say the same for the other individuals, I would actually say they do the least and are many times unreliable.

The maintenance team is great. Very professional and polite. The office staff could use some help being more professional and polite they are a tad rude. Not happy with the child who runs over my head all hrs of the day and night. Till I finally went upstairs and knocked on her door (the office staff did nothing)

The community is okay. I understand there is only so much the management team can do. I do think once again some of the leasing agents could be kinder and more accommodating. I think that specifically the hallways reek of chemicals.

The experience here has been invaluable to me. The place is close to everything and very safe and quiet. The staff is extremely professional and ready to help on almost anything. I have been here for around a month and I think this is a great place to live, if you can afford the price.
