Great location, great staff, but scaffolding has been up far longer than it needs to be and it's cutting off roof access for us and also attracting homeless people. On top of that, our rents have no room for negotiation even though we've had even less amenities than 5 years ago.

I feel very fortunate to be a tenant at Carnegie Mews! It's always a very joyful experience coming home to a very welcoming home environment, greeted by very warm and friendly staff/management and enjoy all the great and uninterrupted services provided to tenants! I hope I'll be able to live here for a long time to come!

Everything is good. I have written these reviews a few previous times. Location is very good. Close to Central Park, Lincoln Center’ Carnegie Hall and Broadway theaters. Also many bus lines as well as many subway lines but I don’t feel comfortable riding the train.

Very friendly staff and attentive. Good location. Laundry in basement but otherwise no amenities unfortunately. Price is a bit expensive but reasonable management. Would recommend living at Carnegie Mews.

I have had a great experience so far. I’ve only been here a couple months but the management has been great in terms of responsiveness and resolving issues in a timely manner. I also feel safe within the building, and am satisfied with the up-keep.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision to live in Carnegie Mews. From day one, the experience has been nothing short of outstanding. The building is immaculately maintained, everything works, we always have hot water, and if you need a service request they are handled almost immediately. What really stands out the most is the building staff. The staff goes above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming environment. Whether it’s a friendly hello from the concierge or meticulous package organization, it genuinely feels like home. My apartment itself is bright and spacious, and offers a peaceful escape in the heart of the city. It’s clear that the management truly cares about resident satisfaction, and it shows in every detail. I feel incredibly fortunate to call this place home and can confidently say this is one of the best living experiences I’ve had in New York.

Besides the noise from my neighbors (on both sides), it’s been great! Have put in a complaint once and the issue was resolved for a few months but it has resumed. Can hear them at all times of the day. Also, wish the rooftop was accessible.

The best staff!! Extremely responsive, professional and welcoming. Requests are responded to promptly. Great service. Not an elegant building, and lobby and elevators show their age but very clean. Highly recommend.

I love this building but no amenities besides laundry in the basement- the doorman are amazing - which is actually ok!! The owner is not available to discuss rent negotiations- it’s a bad experience with the lease staff

Reasonable price for a luxury doorman in the middle of Manhattan. Friendly staff and apartments in good condition. Quick walk to subways and Central Park. I would recommend Carnegie Mews to friends or coworkers.

Carnegie Mews is an incredible place to live! The staff is friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel at home. The location is unbeatable, the community is welcoming, and the apartments are quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I love the neighborhood & our building. I am elderly & disabled --the entire staff is kind & helpful. I make extensive use of the cleaning store & they are also very helpful & sympathetic. The concierges show concern & their cheerfulness is very welcome. Clearly I am happy here, but as I'm on a fixed income I worry that the rent may grow to beyond my means.

Loved the community here and the staff in the building who’s always going the extra mile to help at any time of the day. I hope the facade work will be finished soon so passer by can see the beautiful lobby how it’s meant to be seen!!

I have lived here 2 1/2 years. I love this building. Very clean and super friendly staff and environment. Spacious apartment with everything you could need steps away. I love my apartment it Feels like home.

I’ve lived here for nearly 14 years and I’m beyond grateful to call Carnegie Mews my home. The staff is incredibly professional, kind and thorough….better than family ;) Not to mention proximity to the park, great restaurants and transportation. A hidden gem in midtown.

The experience has been great thus far and really has catered to our needs at the current moment. The present location and price of rent is just what we were looking for and it works for us. The rent is still a bit high but compared to the market, it works for us.

I LOVE living at the Carnegie Mews. Been here over 10 years and it's the best place I have ever lived. Doormen, handymen, maintenance, it would be nearly impossible to find a building as wonderful as this.

Living in Carnegie Mews is great. It's quiet. There are always laundry machines available. Repair requests get taken care of quickly. It's the center of many subway lines. It's also only two blocks from Central Park!

My time at Carnegie mews has been wonderful overall! I love loving here, and the most important part of it it’s the professionalism of the staff, building management and the care they provide to all tenants. I just wish the area was not as noisy at times, but it’s NYC, and midtown.

The building and staff are great, love the location, and the apartment has a great layout for a one bedroom. The neighborhood can be a little bit loud at night, but the apartment windows keep out the noise. Overall, very happy with the building and location.
