Would suggest looking else where
My girlfriend and I have lived here for two years and the only thing that kept us here for the second year was the dread of moving again. We have two months until we move elsewhere. We haven't decided where yet but all we know is its not going to be here. I have seen several cars that have been broken into from the night before. Staff is poor. Maintenance requests take for ever. My storage units roof was caved in for half a year. The hallways are always dirty. The rent is way over priced for the quality of the apartments. The cherry on top is every year when your lease is about to be up they call and tell you they have great deals for you to renew your lease and their idea of a great deal is raising you rent!

Really enjoy living here
I have to say that all of the places that I have lived, I have enjoyed Bent Tree the most. I really like the apartments and I like the area. I live in a 2 bedroom with my roommate and the only thing we have ever complained about was a dog that was being let out not on a leash but the staff quickly took care of that. The best part about the apartment is that theres 2 full bathrooms which we couldnt find any where! The staff seems really nice and have been helpful with any issues that we have had. The main. men have been great too, everything we have ever called in his been done surprisingly quick! All in all we really like it here and would recommend it to people that are looking for a quiet community and a great area.

Beware worst place in the world...Zero stars
Don't move to this place it's very noisy, no service, they are very friendly when you want to sign the contract but after that you will not see them again. And if you try to call them they will not answer your calls. Beware and beware. If you move out they will destroy your credit.

sad to leave
Ive lived at Bent Tree for 5 years and have had a really great experience. I moved to columbus for grad school and picked Bent Tree b/c of the Dublin location. I have bought a house in Dublin so I know longer need to rent, but I will miss Bent Tree because it was a really good place to move especially since I moved out of state. I recommend this community to any one that is looking for a community that exceeds your expectations.

I was stucked by moving in to this apartment
I was recently moved to this aprtment and I am not happy with the unit. When I first taken to the aprtment tour I was amazed to see every thing is included in the unit for the price $749 whcih comes 2 bedroom/bath washer and dryer and Microwave. But after I took the aprtment and when I enter in to the unit I oberserved that they dont have microwave in the unit. When I call them they says I din't ask for that. Do anywhere need to ask for minimal nessecity things like microwave, Dishwasher and heater. I know we should ask for washer and dryer. Even when I asked for the charges they are going to charge me, they said that I am responsible for Water, sewage, Gas and electric. But there are some hidden charges like Trash they never mentioned to me and a Common electric charge which is used electric power for the lease office lights and AC I belive or street lights. I never payed like these hidden charges in any apartments I have been lived. The carpet looks very very old I would say like 5 years old and lot of chips on the carpet. Lot of wood dust in the kitchen shelves which shows old wood need replacement. And the most thing is Electric stove. The coil is not fitted properly and the vessels on the coil are placed very slatly and feels like they will fall down. So we need to hold it until you are done with cooking. Not safe at the parking area. Couple days back some idiots trown Eggs on my car and made it very nasty. And also I saw the eggs near couple other cars. I will not recommend this apartment.

2 years and no issues...
Ive lived here for 2 years and have had no problems with the community. I read the previous review about the break ins and i do not agree that this community is unsafe. I take walks regularly at night and feel completely safe. The only time i have ever heard of any break ins is when i heard from a neighbor that the whole dublin area got hit within a week. It was obviously not just an issue at bent tree. And come on its DUBLIN-- how much safer can you get. Of course my rent has been raised (no i do not enjoy seeing my rent go up) every year but I understand that its a business plus i see what my friends that live in other communities in dublin pay and i'm getting a better deal by staying.. and its never been unaffordable. and again its DUBLIN what do people expect to pay?

"Crime has an address"
Safety - We have lived here for a year and are getting out. In the last 6 months we have been robbed 5 times. People have stole things off of our porch, out of vehicles and garages. What we were told by the Landlord was, "Crime does not have an address. And people that break into cars, don't usually break into apartments." Well, after our experience, we don't want to take that chance. This place is not safe. The apartment complex is doing very little about it. Rent - I have talked to neighbors in this complex and the raises in rent are outrageous. One friend was told when she first moved in that the rent would not be raised by more than 4%. Well, it was raised by 15%!! The lowest raise that I have heard of is $50/month.

Meh
I've only been here for a few months and am not impressed by the place at all. Cons: The neighbors are rude, unfriendly and little trashy. People constantly open and slam the front door. The walls are paper thin so I can hear the couple next to me arguing almost every day. Whatever ventilation systems they have in the buildings is awful because my apartment constantly reeks of Indian food from the people below me. Snow hardly gets shoveled off the sidewalks until it s almost melted. The guest bedroom gets zero heat so it s always about 10 degrees colder than the rest of the apartment (can t wait until summer so I can take a sauna in there). The hot water heater sounds like you're diving 500 feet below the surface in a vintage WWII submarine when it s refilling itself. I had to go around the entire apartment and tighten and install screws into the door hinges so I could shut bedroom doors (God knows I didn t feel like waiting for the maintenance people to come). The people below me installed a satellite dish on MY balcony without asking me. By the way, the front of the apartments looks like a satellite dish nursery farm because anybody is allowed to install a dish so about every 10 feet (sometimes less) you ll see a satellite dish on a post. All in all, come next December I will be OUT OF THERE!!! Pros: The layout of the apartment is nice and comfortable, plenty of room and storage. I have a fireplace that I ll never use because it ll just make a mess. But it s there and looks kind of cool. I have a relatively nice view out my window of trees and somebody s backyard (I m on the backside). It s nothing to write home about but it s better than looking at a parking lot. The kitchen appliances are new and nice. I have a nice huge microwave that came with the place which is very handy to have. It is comfortable inside the apartment. I m just not impressed with everything else that comes with it.

nice community
I just moved to bent tree 4 months ago and i have really enjoyed it so far! i moved into a two bedroom apartment..i liked this floorplan because it has two full baths which was hard for me to find. i also have a fireplace which is pretty nice to have in the winters. The office staff really helped me make my move as easy as possible because i had to do it in a period of a week. Most places i went to blew me off because i needed to move so soon. I would tell anyone who is looking at this site if your looking for an apartment community that has a helpful staff and has a quiet community this is place to go.

A great place to live
I've lived here at Bent Tree for about 3 years now and think its a great place to live. The property is nice and I love that they have a 24 hour fitness center, saves me on getting a membership some where. Its close to everything since its right off of Sawmill Road. My apartment is great, had a few main. issues that took alittle while to get done but they had to order the part but it did get fixed. I read the previous comments and don't recall any of the "cop issues" ever happening. I feel safe here. The office staff has changed quite frequently same company just different staff. Since the new staff have been in the office ( I beleive about a month?? ) they have been really nice and helpful. So overall I think its a great place to live and I would deff. tell people to move in here.

Can't Wait to Move
I would be moving out today if it weren't a $2,000 fee to break my lease. I came in about three years ago under the old managment. They were amazing. This new mangement sucks. The people in the office are FREAKING rude. There are constantly new people working there who call me "hon". Ridiculous! Maintenance is a joke. It takes forever to get problems addressed. The quality of tenants has decreased greatly. It used to be young professionals and lots of sweet, Indian families. Now it is a lot of white trash. I'm sick of it. AND, my rent went up this year again so I'm paying almost $700 a month for a one bedroom. Highway robbery! Another added bonus to this year is that we now have to pay water. I have a $25-$40 bill everymonth which includes paying for "common electric". That means money towards keeping the outside lights on. ABSURD!!!! I even called the Connor group to complain about things and all they did was call the manager and tell her I'd called. Not helpful. DON'T LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

new management is lousy
We lived here for 3 years and experience the old and new management companies. The Connor Group is the new owner and they are lousy - they say "yes" to every complaint/request but rarely follow up unless you yell at them. They have a huge turnover problem with the assistant managers and the new people have no clue what they are talking about. The previous management was great - friendly & they followed up. Since Connor took over, my wife's car was broken into and had her stereo stolen. There was a police raid on the apartment building adjacent to ours (always a pleasant feeling to come home to). The quality of residents declined significantly with the new management - could smell pot, people stopped picking up after their dogs, beer cans were everywhere, they had to close the pool for a while because of people littering in it. Maintenance went downhill...you would receive messages the day of the repair/maintenance which is not fun when you have pets and are worried they might run out. My wife actually took a day off from work for the maintenance people and they never showed up! Most of the lights in the parking lot didn't work and it took months of calling and complaining to fix some of them. The lights in our hallway went out several times which made navigating them in the dark very dangerous. When the big ice storm hit this past winter, they didn't clear the sidewalks EVER and I almost broke my neck a dozen times when walking the dog. On the plus side, the apartments are nice - roomy with lots of features & big balconies with a nice view of the woods if you have a back apartment. However, that doesn't make up for the increases in rent each year and the decrease in customer service each year (call me crazy but I expect service to increase if I am paying more money).

DONT LIVE HERE
AT FIRST APPEARANCE THE PLACE SEEMS NICE....DO NOT LET IT FOOL YOU. SINCE LIVING HERE THE BATH TUB HAS FALLEN APART TWICE....THE TOILET HAS LEAKED INTO THE NEIGHBORS APARTMENT BELOW US AND THEY JUST TOLD US THEY WOULD FIX IT ON MONDAY (THIS WAS ON A FRIDAY)...IMAGINE BEING THE APT BELOW AND HAVING A LEAKY CEILING FOR THREE DAYS. TUB FELL APART WHILE IN THE SHOWER...ON MY FOOT. MAINTANCE JUST PUT A COVER OVER THE OLD TILE, THIS IS NOW MOLDING AND FALLING OFF THE WALL. THE WORST PART IS YET TO COME......

THREE WEEKS BEFORE OUR MOVE OUT DATE WE WERE SITTING ON THE PATIO AND 3 COP CARS CAME INTO THE COMPLEX, WE HEARD YELLING AND SCREAMING AND COPS WERE CHASING 2 GUYS, GUNS PULLED, COPS TASERED ONE GUY AND ALL WE HEARD WAS YELLING AND SCREAMING TO GET DOWN. 10 COP CARS. 3 AMBULENCES, 2 FIRE TRUCKS LATER. OH YEAH AND DON'T FORGET THE GUYS WHO GOT EVICTED FOR HAVING 2 m16 WITH 250 ROUNDS OF AMMO THAT WERE POINTED AT ME SEVERAL TIMES ( I THOUGHT THEY WERE JUST BB GUNS) WHILE ON THEIR PORCH AND WHO KNOWS IF THEY ARE STILL LIVING HERE.

BOTTOM LINE....IF YOU WANT TO FEEL SAFE...THIS IS THE LAST PLACE TO LIVE. DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER.DONT MOVE HERE

Nice place
the location is close to everything. you can be downtown in 10 minutes. the grounds look nice with the new flowers. I wish they were open on sundays so i could get packages because i usually work late during the week but i have never had any problems with the staff. They are nice. I even sent a friend over to move in and got 1/2 off my rent. That makes me want to send more people.

It was pretty good
The walls were thin and I could constantly hear the people upstairs, their television, music, and them walking around. The master bedrooms bathroom leaked a few times, they claimed they fixed it, but didn't. Other than that I felt safe, it is close to almost everything, the rent isn't high, and the bedrooms were close in size which was a plus! All the appliances were new.

Thank God I'm gone
I've been through both the old and new management. The old management was amazing - friendly, punctual, actually cared... This new management - The Connor Group - is a waste of space, or actually they think they're too good to even aknowledge you. When the are really in the office (they go on break for hours at a time and say they'll be back and are not), they lie to your face. It was very interesting to see how quickly it took for this place to go from being a comfortable place to live to somewhere I wanted out of as quickly as possible.

-The walls are very thin
-Managment doesn't manage - they go on break
-Maintenance is a joke
-Management has changed 3 times since the Connor Group took over
-They refuse to fix things that are not an emergency (they will find a replacement part for a 16 year old fridge that is on backorder for 2 weeks instead of replacing the fridge - what are you meant to do in the mean time?)
-they've atrracted people with serious drug habits
-Two months after they took over, 10 cars were burglarized
....

I could go on and on, but if you take the time to read these, then please take it seriously and don't make the mistake of signing for these people. You will not like it.

New Management is Horrible
Very thin walls, base board falls off easily, new management is horrible. They all have a bad attitude. They are never in the office. Maintenance takes a few days to weeks to complete anything. Pool is filthy. Tennis courts are cracked. Sand volleyball net is brokem. Basketball court is cracked. Car ports are not enforced. 60 days notice is a bummer. Can't wait to move out.
