Move in here if you want pay $150 to $200 a month for electric. They do no allow you to have PECO, they control it and rip you off. I got $173 bill for March and I was away for 2 weeks with the heat at 55 degrees, also I do not have a washer and dryer in unit. Also, the dog park is a joke, it is nothing but a small plot full of dog poop and trash.

Had the most wonderful leasing agent take me on a tour of the apartments, her name was Gabrielle. She was very knowledgable and helpful on the tour. Very friendly and professional. I would consider leasing an apartment from here just because of her! If the rest of the staff at Village Square is anything like her, this would be a wonderful place to live!

I lived here for almost three years and love it. The building is conveniently located near a grocery store, shopping, schools and public transportation. The management is responsive and the neighborhood is safe. Overall, it's a great place to live! Highly recommended.

I moved into Village Square in June, 2012. I am very happy with everything here. The office staff is professional. The maintenance team is great. I had a washer leak and they responded right away. They came and cleaned up all of the water, removed the padding and shampooed the carpets. I love the suburban setting while still being close to I-95, Route 1, etc. I have nothing but nice things to say about Village Square. It is a great, safe place to live.

I have been living at Village Square since 11/2012. I love living here. The neighbors are friendly and the complex is very quiet. There is an offleash dog park which my dog loves, a pool, tennis courts, community garden, gym and business center. The grounds are kept well but the drainage in the courtyards is lacking. When it rains a lot they tend to fill with water. Overall I haven't had any issues. The only downside is that my electric bill is quite high. No matter how much i reduce my usage my bill is consistently over $250 a month. I have never had a bill this high in any other place I have lived. At this point i have weighed that against all the other great qualities and have decided to remain here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I moved in here in September and absolutely love this place. The staff is very professional and helpful. The grounds, gym and pool are well kept and clean which of course is a plus. I haven't had any maintenance issues, which is a good thing, but I'm sure if I did it would be handled quickly.

I have been living at Village Square for the past 3 years. The office staff has been great. If I have maintenance problems , they are always taken care of in a timely manner.Since the property has been taken over by new management, I have noticed new improvments around the complex. I like to go to the breakfast at the clubhouse that is served on Fridays. Julie and Rose at the club are always very helpful. I enjoy drinking my coffe and talking with them both. I have NO complaints..

I have been in village square for a decade. The pool, clubhouse, and grounds are always well maintained. We have a community garden, too that residents use in summer and late Spring for the past few years. The neighborhood is nice. Safe, quiet . And although we are close to 3 major malls and shopping, our community is quiet. The schools are great if you have kids. The apartments are well kept too. I haven't had any big maintenance problems either. all in all, in a decade I haven't found any reason to go any where else. That in and of itself says something.I would recommend Village square to anyone considering a nice suburban, yet on the city edge apartment community.

I've lived in many different apartment complexes because of job relocations and I have to say this is one of the best. The management is helpful and the very few times I've needed maintenance it was quick and courteous.

My wife and I have been residents of Village square since 2005. Since we were both born and bred in New York City we were originally attracted to this development because of its rustic surroundings and well-kept grounds. Over the years we have always been impressed by the prompt and courteous manner in which the maintenance staff addresses maintenance issues. My wife and I however think the best features afforded (absolutely free) by the Village Square properties are the Clubhouse, the Fitness Center, and the huge Olympic sized swimming pool. They also encourage and promote community participation by providing (also absolutely free) continental breakfasts every Friday, and Barbeques on major summer holiday weekends. We also are very impressed and pleased with the Clubhouse staff. They really make you feel welcome and are always very professional and friendly; especially Julie and Rose. We find it relaxing and enjoyable to spend an hour or so each day just reading the newspapers or having coffee (also provided absolutely free) in an environment that is always kept immaculately clean, by those two ladies. I'd definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Been here since February of 2012. The grounds are well-kept. The management staff is courteous and professional. The maintenance issues that I've had have been addressed very promptly and thoroughly. The only bad things I have to say about Village Square are the parking is a nightmare if you get home after 6:00 PM and the grassy areas become boggy in medium to heavy rain. They allow pets; up to 2 dogs under 50 lbs. with pet restrictions (deposit and additional monthly rent apply). Generally, pet owners here are responsible about their pets' "duty". However, Dave from maintenance regularly goes around the whole complex and picks up stray trash and dog droppings from irresponsible owners. I'd definitely recommend this to friends and family.

I'm just starting my life so I was looking for something affordable in a safe location. Safety comes first and I feel safe living here. Even my relatives are impressed at the apartment when they come visit me for the first time! The staff is professional. Great location which is close by to many great restaurants and shopping stores.

I have lived in this apartment for 20 years. It like a home for my wife and I. The only difference is I don't have to cut the lawn or shovel snow. The people are friendly and Friday coffee and cake at the clubhouse.

It really is a shame that some people are never happy .....I have lived here for 13yrs. and we love it there are some things that need to improve and i see that they are working on that but it takes time!!!!! i personally feel like this is home to us the staff are very good at their job, they have always helped me with all my needs and did it with a smile on their faces.....i'am not saying it's perfect but they are close to it......if you need a place to live this is it....you can feel safe and in the summer the pool is amazing!!!!!! In my court we all take good care of each other. If you don't like living here try and find a better place i bet you won't

My boyfriend and I just moved into this complex after touring many other places in and outside of the Philadelphia area. On our first tour, we noticed how well kept the grounds were and how nice the office staff was. The fitness center is modern, clean and never seems too busy, which is important for us because we're very active, and most other complexes charge a fee or don't have enough machines available. We rented a 1 bedroom apartment, which is perfect for a couple, because it comes with a den (office space) that can double as a guest bedroom. The bedrooms look very similar to the model shown on the tour except our apartment does not have a washer/dryer (we didn't want one) and has pink bathroom appliances. Upon move in, we noticed we had brand new carpets, and we just asked the maintenance staff to fix minor things, which the office staff assured us would be fixed. From moving out of the city, a huge advantage is the lack of noise here-- you can hear birds instead of street noise all day! Parking is also easy and close to the apartment.

When I had first moved into Village Square, I wasn't sure what to expect since being a first time renter of an apartment. But luckily I had made the right choice going with Village Square; My apartment was amazing, the fixtures were all nice and new and the overall layout of my place was solid. The leasing staff were amazing with helping me they eliminated my sense of uncertainty with their knowledge of how things are done and I'm glad to say I made the right choice moving here.

I have been enjoying living here for a few years. I feel very safe living here. The parking is fine. There is very little noise from anyone. The grounds, for the most part are very well kept. We even have a garden area which I have been privileged to be able to plant my vegetables. The people you meet there are all very nice. The only concerns I have regarding the garden area is that the areas surrounding each plot got overgrown and the, very necessary, water spigot was turned sideways, instead of down, which made it very difficult to use without getting your pants and shoes extremely wet. The staff has been wonderful to me. Maintenance has been done in a very efficient, friendly and timely manner. I love swimming every summer in our beautiful pool. Over all, I enjoy and love living in my apartment at Village Square and highly recommend this wonderful community. Thank you!
