Great place to live. Jennifer and the other staff were helpful and professional. Service issues handled quickly and efficiently. Grounds, gym and pool are well kept.

my wife, our child, and I have lived in the apartment for 3 years, we were some what happy with our experience until we moved out! I had to call about our security deposit, they told us we would get back $200 from $791. I freaked out. They charged us $290 for the way our carpets were when we moved out. They said there were spots in every room. There were light spots, normal wear and tear and we feel that we were taken advantage of. Notice before they rent out the apartment they have to replace the carpet with new carpet, so they ripped us off! I will never ever recommend anyone to rent from Vilage Square. Not to mention the apartment complex is way out of date and if you want a updated apartment, look forward to spending $1100 or more a month for a one bedroom. They discuss me ! Do yourself a favor and rent from someone else. We were from Oak court !

I have lived here for over 7 years. Firstly, as a single man and later as a family man. It has been a great place to call "home" and still is. The entire management staff (Valerie Maier, Lori Sadusky, Jennifer to name but a few) are very helpful and quick to solve any problems that have arisen. The grounds and facilities are kept clean except for the occasional dog foul. The gym is open during sociable hours and is rarely crowded. The pool area during summer is lovely. I love the convenience of I 95 and Pennsylvania Turnpike which are minutes away. Philadelphia Mills outlet mall, Neshaminy Mall, shopping centers as well as a string of restaurants are close by. It is safe and quiet here. My family and I could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful neighborhood. Oh, parking can be a nightmare after hours...but you can't have it all right? If only people didn't own 3 or more cars. Well lets just say the early bird catches the worm.

Have lived here for less than a year and am counting down the days until my lease is up. Maintenance response time is okay, but resolution to issues is a painful process. Five maintenance requests for the same thing until issue was finally resolved. Apartment had several issues on our move in day. Washers and dryers are a joke - takes forever to dry two towels. The condensation from the a/c is rigged to drip from a hose into a drain in the laundry room. Appliances are outdated and mismatched. Complex has just been sold and the previous owner put no money into the upkeep of the property at all - neither inside or out. New owner sent letter stating that their top priority is "curb appeal." That's great for them if they want to lease up, but not good news for the residents living in apartments that have had no attention for several years. Do yourself a favor and do your homework before you consider moving here.

I love living here. Not your typical apartment complex. Korman has an almost private entrance (1 entrance for the first & second floor apartments), well-maintained courtyards and parking lots, esp during snow season, a FREE pool & gym membership (both of which are super nice), even free use of clubhouse computers/printers. There's a washer and dryer for every apartment, as well as a small den! Management and maintenance is excellent, professional, and efficient. All this for around $800 a month for a one bedroom. Great location, minutes from 95, about 10 min to Rt. 1 and the turnpike. Right on Street road so many shops, stores, restaurants minutes away. Only problem I've had is with parking. If you get home after 6, forget trying to get a spot near your apartment entrance. They should really assign 1 spot to each apartment. Besides this, for the price and amenities, Korman is the best in the area!

I enjoy my peaceful living!
I have lived here for a year and a half and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Whenever the lightbulb blows outside my apartment, it is replaced immediately. Whenever I call about repairs, the maintenance crew has always replied within 48hrs. I have never felt unsafe nor have I had an issue with trash or snow removal. Parking is a little challenging but that's about the worse of it

Great so far!
I've been here for about a month. I made my decision of where to live based on ratings on this site. Not many apartment complexes with good ratings, but so far, Korman Residential at Village Square has outperformed. I'm not an employee here; I'm not a relative or friend of an employee. Just (so far) surprised at how good an experience I've had. Pros: -semi-private entrances, so I don't have to count on 7 other residents to remember to close the outside door or worry about them letting in someone that they don't know. Big for safety. -They accept pets (I have 2 dogs who are my world, so that was a must). -They actually have someone who walks the grounds to pick up after any owner who rudely left their dogs' stuff in the grass. They also have stations throughout the complex with dog poop bags. -They have non-smoking apartments. -So far, every maintenance request I've made (all of them non-emergency) have been responded to on the same day or the next business day. Outstanding! -The complex is relatively quiet. -Washer & dryer in my apartment. I think that they have them in every apartment. They do have… See More>anonymous

my vote
If you're looking for an enclave atmosphere, this is it. The location has easy access to the mall and I95 and restaurants and other attractions. I have a very cordial and respectful relationship with the staff and management. If this apartment were running for president, it'd have my vote !

brotherly love
We had been living here for over a year when my brother decided to lease an apartment here. I guess the only good thing is now my kids can spend more time with their uncle. Maybe if these apartments weren't so awesome my brother would only visit twice a year !

property
the property is in a great place and close to stores. I hate being in the middle of no where or in places hard to get around. the property is also really good for children and I am a mother of one.

no smoking
We love our apartment. The option to have a smoke-free unit was great. No second-hand smoke to make our baby sick. Many amenities to boot...

Hostile, sadistic management at ARK
Hostile. The management, after being nice enough to show you model apartments that don't really exist, and get u in here, is SADISTIC and HOSTILE. Have you ever heard the expression that the only reason the ---------------------------------- was because they lost the war? We have those same kind of miserable, horrible people in the Korman (--------), customer service office. -----------, ------ the ----- manager, et al. You CAN'T consider bringing yourself and your family to this unhealthy place. The water damage from hurricane Irene is still present in many apartments. Korman has enough legal pull, to postpone getting mold (which may have killed one woman found dead here) out of these apartments. And the lease says they can put you out ANYTIME. They can and have refused to renew leases of people that have complained about the disgusting conditions. Lastly, when you inevitably leave here or are put out on short notice, the cable boxes belonging to Korman won't be turned in, and Comcast will be after you to pay for their equipment. Isn't life complicated enough for you without you having to deal with maintenance entering your apartment with no notice, whenever they feel like it? Whether ur home… See More>mynameisdaisy

Kind of Disappointed
I moved here during the summmer and when I first moved in I was kind of disappointed. They didn't allow us to see the apartment before we first moved in. I was expecting the apartment cleaned. I came to an apartment where there was grease underneath my sink and my washer and dryer was disgusting. There was built up residue in the washer. The washer is small and if you have back problems it's definitely a problem for you to do your wash. I ended up having to Clorox the entire apartment the very first day I moved in. Someone ended up spitting on my husbands car window within the first month we moved in. We have strange neighbors that aren't very friendly. Our kitchen is a very big disappointment. It's small and not even upgraded. For the price we pay I was expecting at least a white tub. We ended up having a brown tub which is such an eyesore. When I come home at night there is absolutely no parking where my apartment is. I have to walk quite far just to get to my door. Our bathroom ceiling has leaked twice. One time because of Irene and… See More>1 Bedroom 1 Bath
