National Geographic Presents Korman Suites
Roaches I almost expect at apartments. However, I had massive centipedes from day one, bees and wasps in my air vents, ants, and mice! There is absolutely no parking and there are mudslides and flooding if it should happen to rain. The a/c and heat only worked in the bedroom because "that's where the unit is". The dishwasher sounded like a Saturn V rocket taking off. One morning I was walking to my car and found used condoms all over the parking lot. At least then I knew what the strange noises were that I heard at night. Do not rent here!

DONT LEAVE DEPOSIT BEFORE YOU SEE APT
THEY SHOWED ME SAMPLE APT VERY NICE WHEN I SAW MY APT WAS TOLD THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE IT ALL CLEANED. ON MOVE IN DAY I WALKED IN AND TERRIBLE OLD APPLIANCES, TERRIBLE PAINT JOB LOOKS LIKE 3 YEAR OLDS DID IT, DIRTY AND THE WASHER AND DRYER IN CLOSET IN BEDROOM SO FILTHY I WENT BACK AND SAID I CHANGED MY MIND BEFORE I EVEN SIGNED LEASE THEY SAID TO BAD THEY RIPPED ME OFF FOR ONE MONTHS RENT ASSES THEY ARE KORMAN MIGHT BE A BIG COMPANY BUT THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SLUM LORDS AS WELL <br><br>ONE OTHER THING I FOUND OUT BY TALKING TO OTHER PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE OR ALREADY MOVED OUT YOU PAY FOR EVERYONES ELECTRIC BILL THEY AVERAGE IT OUT THIS IS WHY YOU PAY SUCH HIGH ELECTRIC BILLS, I HAVE A 2 BEDROOM APT NOW AND MY BILL WITH HEAT ON AND NORMAL USE AND IT ABOUT 50.00 A MONTH NOT 150.00

Beware of bugs & management
I picked this place out of a hat, had to move very quickly to get a new job and proximity to I-95 & Turnpike was important. Bad signs appeared immediately--rental agent initially agreed to my move in date, then tried to put it off as she sensed a close. After a little effort, she finally re-agreed to meet my required date but did NOT let me look at the unit I would be renting. Since I was over a barrel, I accepted the apartment based only on the model unit I was taken through.<br><br>Upon move-in, it was apparent why she hadn't let me see it. Despite their having 3 weeks to fix it up prior to my arrival, there were large cracks in the living room window (which was single-pane glass, GREAT for the electric bills which I also paid to Korman) and an actual HOLE to the outside in my bedroom closet next to the circuit breaker. The appliances were old but functional, and the cabinets looked like they were recycled from student housing. like roaches
My car was stolen, my apartment was flooded, First couple of months were nice here. But after a few months of living here they must be taking section 8. The people do not take care of there apartments. The clientle that is being excepted in this complex is like living in the getto. <br>I was torn between another complex and this one they offered me a discount that should have been my first clue, (as another complex did worn me when they are giving everything away there must be a problem) <br>I can not wait for my lease to be up.<br>

great place to live
i was living at korman suites bensalem from 1999-2001. i thought the apartments were lovely and safe and even my sister who came to visit me from australia was impressed. next time i come to US from oz i will def stay there again.

Great Location
This Apartment has everything you could need within walking distance. Maintnence is prompt, but not always the brightest. Interior of apartment perfect for starting out. Where else do you get 1 bedroom with den for this price? It does appear as if they take the cheap way ouf of fixing their own property, but it's their property value, not yours, the renter.

Management completely untrustworthy
I found the apartment itself to be okay, but Kormans respect for their residents is appalling, they are only interested in cheating you out of your money. I am of the opinion that they commonly tow cars as a solution to the chronic parking problem, instead of actually trying to solve the problem properly. Upon moving out I learned I was to receive none of my security deposit back, due to carpet stains. My carpet was by no means spotless, but I am curious to know what stains cost $500 to remove. I could continue all day. In conclusion, I found that the area was nice, the neighbors were nice, the apartment itself was fine, but these good points dont even begin to make up for the way management treats its renters, which is nothing short of despicable. I cannot overstate my contempt for Korman Suites.

you pay for group electric bills
what you dont know, your bills are high due to that you are sharing electric bills with fellow neighbors, turn off all breakers than go look at your meter it still spins, that is why some kormans but meteres in locked rooms.<br><br>plus they do bait and switch you and show you a nice sample apartment than get this disgusting dirty apartment, kormans are the biggest slum lords around, they took my money and tried to get it back they said too bad what asses they are, plus the smell of curry was dreadful

Do not move here!
My family has lived here for over 2 years, and I can honestly say that it just keeps getting worse. When we first signed our lease, our apartment was "not quite ready" -DO NOT sign a lease here if you've only seen the model. Our apartment was a wreck. The bathroom was a moldy pit - neither it nor the kitchen had been cleaned before we got there. We had to fight with the management office to get essential repairs made - while in the process of moving in. There is a huge bug problem in the apartments - including spiders, termites and the most incredilbly ugly bug called a "House Centipede". The bugs are prolific and calls to the office to request an exterminator fall on deaf ears.<br>"Small" pets are allowed in the community - but most dogs weigh more than I do. Many of the pet owners do not clean up after their dogs. Too many times have I had to clean filth off of my young children's shoes. Very Nice Community, Close to Evertything and I-95
I lived in Korman Suites Village Square East for two years and it was a wonderful complex to live in. I had a one bedroom apartment that my girlfriend and I shared and it was very comfortable for the two of us. It had a small washer, dryer, dishwasher, central air and central heating. The only complaint is that everything is electric so in the Summer and Winter the electric bills could get high ($230's) if you ran the central heat/air all of the time.<br> The pool was very nice in the summer but the fitness center could use some updating. The treadmills are rather old and there are not that many weights. If you are serious about fitness, you are better off getting a real gym membership.<br> Korman is close to everything and very close to the I-95 on ramp. Parking is very spacious and the noise level in the community is very low. Also, the tennis courts are rather nice. The maintenance persons are very quick in responding to work orders and the staff in the leasing office are very friendly and helpful. RIP OFF ARTIST POOR MANAGEMENT

Make sure you see the apartment before you rent it!
I would strongly suggest that you see the apartment that you will be living in before you rent it.. Not the sample either. Some of the apartments have very old kitchens in them and they aren't in very good shape. You can tell they have been used for aleast 20 years. Also, in the summer time the electic goes out alot sometimes for aleast a half a day if its on the weekend. The complex is very quite if you don't have many kids in your court yard. The management is very unprofessional.. I had a few arguements with them over the last 2 years. Maintentance takes there time with things too. The electric bills are so high because everything is electric and the winter is very, very drafty. So I would say to try somewhere else.

This place stinks
I lived here for 2 years and I had a bad time. Don't get me wrong the area was good, and it was really quiet. But the management office was not very helpful. They are rude people who work there. The apartments are falling apart. and the electric bill are soooo high. My electric bill in the summer would be about 230.00 and the winter isn't much better because you have to have the heat so high it's very, very drafty in there. So i would not tell you to live there

Not bad for the price...
I lived in a one bedroom apartment here for two years. A couple of issues came up over that time, but maintenance seemed to respond well to our concerns. The apartment complex was always kept in good condition and I never had trouble with neighbors.

Would recommend
I have been living here 2 years and would recommend to anyone. The rent is reasonable - and the apartments have a semi-private walk-up (you share with the apt. above or below you) and include a washer/dryer. The rooms are also large with ample closet space. All problems were fixed upon my 1st call to maintence and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool area is also nice in the summer. <br> <br>The drawbacks: The windows are somewhat poorly insulated, so the heat needs to be cranked up in the winter (expect a energy bill for about $40 in the summer and about $160 and up in the winter). There is little counter space in the kitchen, but they do come equipment with a full size over range and dishwasher. I am lucky and have a downstairs neighbor who is only occasionally noisy, but sound does travel between floors.

great place to live
upon relocating from another city, i visited several apartments before making a decision where to live. i decided on village square mainly for the location and amenities, especially the washer/dryer in the apartment. i was quite impressed with the office staff. they were extremely professional and went out of their way to help me get used to my new home. <br> fortunately i have not had too many maintenance problems but on the occassion the staff was quite responsive and i felt comfortable letting them in my home. <br>

nice place to live
I lived at Kormans for 5 years, I loved it there. The grounds are very nice. The maintenance staff was the greatest, they were always there when I called with a problem, temanagement office has the nicest people working thee they are very profeesional. They know their job and they do it well. <br> Based on my experience, at Kormans Suite at Village square. I would tell anyone it is a grea place to call home.

No way!!
What a dump. Sure it looks good outside. I had roaches when I first moved in. Maintenance sucked--when they decided to sent them out. The people who worked there had a terrible attitude. I had roof leaks that never got fixed. <br> <br>Do not ever rent with Korman!!!!!!!! <br> <br>

A waste of money
maint. staff is the worst ever. supert. doesn´t hire maint. men that know anything. All work usually takes about 3 tries before the job is done correct. Takes forever to get a maint. man to do the job, then he doesn´t seem to know what to do without the help of the supert., which you can find sitting in the office or maint. shed. or look out your window he should be driving by on a 1/4 of an hour basis in the company truck he spend all day in. In winter all shoveling is done at the maint. conveince not when it should be done. Never shoveled properly to end of sidewalk, maint. decides where the sidewalk will be according to break time and when they have to go home. The tennent is not Number One as should be or wright about anything , only the staff and maint. is the only one who knows anything. All tennents, present and future, will go according to the korman staff, like they are paying for your apartment, completly the opposite, of business, the tennent is always wrong, staff is wright. <br> <br>Office staff should wear jeans not dress blues, and fancy… See More>anonymous

Horrible!
In 1999 I almost moved into this complex. I looked at the model and it looked nice. I kept asking, all the way up to the day I was to sign the lease, if I could see MY apartment before I signed. They kept telling me that it wasn´t ready. When I went to the office to sign the lease, I demanded to see the apartment before I signed. They sent me over there with a clipboard to write down anything that needed repair. I ran out of room on the page! The apartment had not been painted, they painted the front of the door while it was open and then closed it before it dried so the weather stripping stuck to the door jam when I opened it! The sink in the bathroom was cracked so badly that the water just poured right through. The washer and dryer were not in a large closet as in the model, but in a small closet in the bedroom with a large hole leading to the outside world that had the dryer hose sticking out of it. Initially I thought it was an okay apartment to live in. I believe my apartment was repainted and the kitched was redone just before i moved in. <br>the problems i had were there was a bug problems. one night after it rained, there were spiders coming out of the carpet all over the apartment. i killed around 15 spiders that night. although the spiders were not that big, they kept on coming. <br>the other thing was a safety concern. my apartment was broken into in the summer of 2002. I lived in oak ct. on the first floor. it was a side apartment so the den had a window which was how the robber came in. some of the major things that were stolen were a laptop and airline tickets. i asked the apartment to get a security guard but they said it would be a liability. <br> <br>so in summary, my apartment for it price was bearable but i don´t think it a very safe area. I would not recommend it unless you´re out of options. And definitely get renters insurance if you live here.

THEY ROB YOU BEFORE YOU EVEN GET TO SEE YOUR APT.
THIS APT COMPLEX ON STREET ROAD IS A RIP OFF, THE MANAGERS SUCK. THEY TELL YOU YOUR APT WILL BE REDONE PAINTED AND REPAIRED WELL AFTER I PUT UP OVER $700.00 I WAS SHOWN MY APT AND IT WAS DIRTY DISGUSTING, WASHER AND DRYER AREA WAS DUSTY FILTY NASTY LOOKING, WALLS WERE PAINTED LIKE A KIDS DID IT FOR SCHOOL PROJECT. Roach infested craphole with landscaping.
Two or three FEET of standing water in basement of building for weeks. Roaches. Silverfish. Crime. Maintenance entered the wrong apartment (mine) went through my drawers, stole clothing, and broke stereo. Stay away at all cost!

a BIG NO !!
The apartment is costly and it does even give some basic amenties like microwave even after paying a high price. And another major problem is the electric bill. It comes very high becos all appliances are on electric. So please do not go for Korman suites.
