This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever rented. For one, they dont ever fix anything that is broken or needs to be fixed they just mask it. For example, the apartment above me had a broken water pipe which leaked into my bathroom through the ceiling and all the maintenance people did was spackle and paint over it. They never tore out the drywall and studs since there was mold growing. DONT RENT HERE

    It's not a bad place to live i really don't have much to say beyond that. Why is there a minimum of characters in order to submit the entire thing. That doesn't make that much sense. Getting to 200 characters shouldn't be required to submit the survey.

      I just recently moved in and my experience has been good so far. It's fairly quiet and peaceful. The only concern I have is that the front door to the building is often left open, so anyone could just walk in.

        I have good experience, but sometimes a have some issues. The apartment complex is not new buildings, but in a good condition. The price is good. However, it has problems with mice. Anyway, I am living here more than 3 years.

          Still a quite place to live. Neighbors are friendly. Maintenance staff addresses problems quickly ..access to transportation and shopping stores like wawa,cvs,dunkin donuts ,Aldi dollsr store and the airport

            The building I am in is a quiet building plenty of parking I just wish when people were visiting they park on the other side of the parking lot. The building I am in I have good neighbors. Price on my apartment is a pretty good price

              I feel safe in this complex. With everything going on in the city of Philadelphia this is definitely a change of scenery. Although some times they neighbors could be loud I feel safe coming and going for me and my family. It's definitely worth the money in my opinion.

                I love it here it's so quiet, pet friendly, convenient you'll have access to many activities and places to eat at. There's a pool in the community and there's a park for your children to play in I just love it

                  Friendly, quiet and the management is always concerned about the appearance of the grounds. The pool is kept well and the exterior of the buildings are in good repair. The maintenance people are quick to respond to issues.

                    It's nice to live here but just a little nice problem . Maintenance takes too longs to come. The office is always closed and very rarely is the office number answered. Nice and quiet no noisy neighbors. Excellent parking. Trash is remove twice a week

                      We do not take walk ins to the office anymore because of the virus. Too many employees have gotten sick and if that happens it takes maintenance longer to handle a work order as we are short staffed.                       i’ve had mice since DAY 1 … NOTHING gets done .. been on an extermination list for MONTHS now … all behind,inside,and on top of my stove, counters, refrigerator, INSIDE of my couches. mouse droppings EVERYWHERE. my daughters bottles get chewed up by the mice. i’ve had issues with mold … STILL have a broken heater since LAST WINTER. would NOT recommend anybody to live here. they DO NOT care about their tenants.

                        Maintenance is good and for the most part prompt. The complex is relatively quiet with few exceptions However, there are a few things that need attention. The lighting at the entrance NEED to be improved. Try to curtail or stop residents who smoke stand at the door (no distance from the door) and keep the door open or hold the door open so the smoke fills the whole building.

                          This maintenance and support center are atrocious. Not responsive and rude. Maintenance person tried to unlock our door without even knocking, and would have come in if I was not in my living room to tell them to hold on. Very unprofessional, and I was also never asked if it is okay for someone to show up if I am not here.

                            I feel my time at Grant meadows is good, no problems. Maintenance does the best they can with what they working with. Sometimes it feels like you always have new neighbors, people are moving in and out all the time! I will be staying another 3 years until i retire.

                              The worst place to live in ever! I can’t wait to move I been telling maintenance about all the roaches and mice since a month after I first moved it I feel like they completely took over my apartment the hallways sinks so bad! Cigarettes smell come through my bathroom it’s to the point I avoid coming home as often as possible i can’t wait to my lease is up and that’ll be soon I’m running outta here fast as I can I don’t recommend ever living here avoid it please I wish someone warned me!!!

                                quiet surroundings, outside and entrance to apartments could be cleaner. Bug problem needs to be taken care of with the source not just spraying. Monitor apartments and make sure they are kept clean.

                                  Neighbors are great and the community is quiet from where I come. However I cannot say the same for the staff at Grant Meadows. I have moved into the unit and not even a month has passed and I’m already having issues. Firstly, each time it rains, the water gets into the unit via the walls. This gets the carpet wet and leaves a stench afterwards. As far as I know, the unit came with this deficiency and the landlord doesn’t want to address this. I have sent an emails and maintenance request and have not had this issue addressed. Secondly, the unit I am in suffers of bugs crawling in which I can understand that it’s a garden community but this things shouldn’t occur for how high the rent costs are. I fear I made the mistake moving into Grant Meadows and wish I could turn back time for when I considered moving in. I would avoid Grant Meadows at all cost if you can.

                                    Grant Meadows is by far the WORST place to live. The first question that was asked was if we were mexican because of the “long name”. They immediately started telling us the business of another tenant. Day one, there were DRUGS left behind the stove along with a dead rat skeleton, toys and dirt dirt dirt (clearly not clean before we moved in). The cabinets were CAKED with grease and we had to clean the entire apartment before moving in, the only thing new about the place was the rugs and fridge. The sink in the bathroom was leaking and they had to come out twice before fixing it. When signing the lease she stated that she did not know we were having a baby live here (we clearly put it on the rental application) and that they needed the city to come out and do a led test. We work from home so we know no one ever came out to conduct a “led test”. They asked us to do a walk through of the place and when we wrote everything down that was wrong, most things did not get fixed. Closet doors were hanging off the hinges, and we were told that it would be fixed ASAP, that was in May and now up until the day we moved out they were STILL hanging by a thread. The air conditioner in the primary bedroom was infested with MOLD and they told us to continue running it because it would just blow out, we had to fight it because we had a six month old baby and it was blowing out all over the bed and crib. Luckily we mentioned the baby because that is the only reason we got a new air conditioner. A few weeks in, our oven pilot blew out, it blew out once a week every week afterward and we had to continue calling about the gas smell, they told us how to crawl under the stove and "light it back up" (dangerous) but it would not light up and we waited over a month for someone to come look at the oven and then when they did come they said oh yea you need a whole new stove. Let’s not get started on the mice and roaches. When we first moved in, we noticed a horrible smell and reached out to the manager and told her we found a mouse AND the skeleton of a mouse under the stove (so clearly they were there before we even moved in). She stated it was not her responsibility to remove mice but she would get an exterminator out, the exterminator put STICKY traps and snap traps around knowing that we had a baby crawling around. We spent LOTS of our own money getting my own pest control. We asked them to please fill the huge holes in the corners, closets and hallways because it is clearly where the mouse was coming from. Maintenance stated they would be back on a wednesday. They never said which Wednesday because they never came out. Our heater in our dining room did not work and when asked if it could be fixed, we were told oh they won’t get that hot because they’re old sorry. Our hallways STINK and it has carpeting so the smell stays. For the most part it is a quiet complex except for neighbors constantly fighting and cursing their young kids out every single day non-stop. Neighbors screaming and arguing outside because they need a cigarette. We had two managers in a span of one year living here and let me tell you the new manager Desiree is extremely RUDEEEEEEEEEEE and unprofessional. She YELLED at me over the phone for asking a question. Now what kind of customer service is that? I'm sorry aren't you being paid to tend to tenants and their needs? I have been reaching out and being diligent and respectful and in return she was nasty towards me. They CONSTANTLY lost documents like renters insurance and posted on our door MULTIPLE late fees and letters stating that we were not paying my rent, when my rent was paid EARLY every month. If something is broken, she won’t fix it because they said they have to focus on the new tenants moving in first…. They have mold all over their apartments and refuse to take care of it… They don’t know how to treat their tenants and they need a huge reality check. If you have another apartment choice please take it . Do not move in HERE! You will and I quote regret it!

                                              I have been living at this complex since 2016. I used to love the quiet. This year in January, our neighbor downstairs took in two new people in that were not on the lease. Our section quickly became a revolving door to strange people coming in and out of our building at all hours of the night. They smoke cigars and weed constantly (still), and their favorite party nights are Monday and Wednesday at 11pm to around 3-4 am. This has been addressed with the office over 5 times via phone. The people are still living down there, slamming, partying, and harassing neighbors at all hours. I would love a resolution, but no one ever says anything but "we'll send them a letter. " we can never sleep a full night. I am devastated that the safety of my neighbors and I are not worth assistance. I implore anyone that enjoys quiet time to really scope out the potential unit you will be in. Otherwise, I'd tell you to avoid this place for your own peace of mind and safety.
