?????????? WaterWalk at Shelter Cove has been an amazing place to live! The location truly can’t be beat—being so close to the marina, shops, and waterfront views makes everyday living feel like a vacation. The apartments are beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, and the community itself is very well maintained. The team here goes above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and taken care of—they are responsive, friendly, and truly care. The amenities and resident events are a huge bonus and make it easy to connect with neighbors and enjoy the lifestyle here. If you’re looking for a luxury community with a great atmosphere and unbeatable location, WaterWalk at Shelter Cove is the place to be!

    Don’t go there

    Waterwalk (in my opinion) is a ripoff. We lived there and it’s a miserable existence. There was little or no security. Anyone could walk in anytime and go to any floor. That also means the cars aren’t secure in the parking garage. The cabinets are low quality in building 1. The doors to them are made of a thin, cheap material and they warp. Why go so cheap in a luxury apartment? The hallways are dirty… stained carpet… the walls needed paint and residents would leave their garbage cans in the hallway 24/7. There is absolutely no privacy. When someone is on the deck, you can hear every word they say. There were 12 decks within hearing range all clustered together. My opinion? The only thing luxurious was the rent payments. This place isn’t worth the 5 grand a month that they want. Stay away.

      I don’t like the fact that most entrances are not secure. Anyone can just walk right in. Do I feel safe? Yes but every exterior door should be locked at all times times The leasing staff is the best. Always professional & helpful

        Staff is very professional and caring. From the office staff to the Maintenance crew, they are professional and competent. The landscaping is beautiful and well taken care of. Staff is sensitive to questions and wonderful follow up. We feel very safe and welcomed by the staff. Location is wonderful with short walks to grocery, shopping and restaurants. One if the nicest features is the wonderful pathway leading from the apartments to the chopping area. I bike it almost everyday. Convenient location to restaurants, grocery and ships. Walk with my granny children to the park. A bonus is the Saturday morning temporary shops that offer a variety of craft items and food. The building is well taken care of and recently all the hallways have been painted.

          We have been resident's of Waterwalk for almost three years and moving here is one of the best decisions we have ever made. We plan on staying here for the indefinite future. Our children and grandchildren always enjoy visiting.

                My husband and I are basically very happy living at Waterwalk. We love our view of the water, and we enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. We enjoy being close to shopping and the lovely park areas. We do , however, think that the upkeep could be better. The windows have not been washed in years, the halls should be painted by professionals instead of one person with a small brush and a bucket of paint.

Per building one (1) - the carpets in hallway are really dirty..so many stains...definitely need cleaned and/or new carpet...lots of exterior doors need painting. Sheetrock in ceiling going out to garage is hanging down Garage flooring could definitely use power wash...stained & very dirty

                                Unfortunately, you can hear people coughing through the walls. You can also hear upstairs neighbors walking, playing video games, and dogs barking. Very little attention was paid to soundproofing. In addition, constant problems with secure garage gates and exterior door entry has been ongoing for years. Location is the only reason I would recommend this property based on increased lease increases.

                                      Our maintenance staff are excellent in day-to-day maintenance and in responding to my service orders. Security is essentially non-existent. Ground level building entrances & the garage gates are non operational so are open all the time, accessable to everyone who wants to enter the building. What are our very high rental payments being used for?. Or does our management staff not really care about security. Residents do!

                                        A/C was frozen an defrosted and Freon Was added. Same day. Working fine Recurring frozen ice maker does not seem to work after ice tray fixed after repeated visits . Washer/dryer shows clean dryer vent and after a number of service calls it is doing it again.

                                              I sent a survey recently talking about the staff. Please refer to that recommendation. We do like it at WaterWalk. It is close ri EVERYTHING. Unless you have an appointment (doctor, dentist, hair, etc.) There is little need to drive.
