It has been pleasant so far. Wish the pool hours were earlier in the morning as I like to get my exercise done early and stay out of the hot sun. Also, the garage is not secure as anyone can drive in. When will the doors be fixed so we can have secured entry?

Four months in we are still loving every minute at WaterWalk in Shelter Cove. The neighbors are amazingly friendly, the team at WaterWalk knows us by name, and we have recommended it to anyone we speak to about HHI living arrangements.

Very convenient place to live. Everything is nearby. I also like the pool. The walking paths are great for running and riding my bike. The folks I meet are very friendly. I also love that the area is dog friendly. Lots of restaurants to choose from including some that are within walking range.

WaterWalk is my happy place. I’m truly blessed to call this my home. I can’t say this enough. I love the central location on HHI. Ive met beautiful friends. From my living space to my backyard on broad creek, this amazing place has my heart!

The main issue is that our garage gate and front door have remained unlocked and despite local management telling us it is being addressed this has not been resolved . I love my Waterwalk apartment and having a secure building is of utmost importance to me .

We've been residents for 2 years and completely enjoy our apartment home and all of the the amenities provided. Management, staff and other residents are very friendly and I can highly recommend Waterwalk if you're considering relocating

Well run upscale apartment complex with a staff that doesn't always have it easy with many residents that due to their demographics can be demanding. Follow through by maintenance has always been fairly quick.

Overall, highly recommend Waterwalk as a nice, convenient and friendly place to live. Close to shopping, restaurants and community park which has regular activities - highlighted in the summer by excellent, free entertainment - including music, family movies, viewing of fireworks and other special events.

WaterWalk has been a great place for us to live these past 3-4 years. It is very convenient, easy living! From items like trash picked up daily to changing light bulbs! The community amenities are a strong point ... Exercise/yoga/spinning/weights, the Pool, the Community Room and more. We love being with in 5 minutes walking to 2 different shopping centers, 2 different grocery stores, restaurants, bars and retail shopping

Not necessary….nice happy. This time, I required four light bulbs for my bathrooms…..or I might have been, another start for my washer. It does not work every time I ask it to, something needs to be considered for the future. Thank you.k

It’s just the perfect place for us! Location Amenities Staff Friendly people and quiet! Beautiful and well maintained. Love the parking arrangement. I like the convenience of doing everything online. Or on my phone the technology is Awesome but you still get the personal touch.

This Water Walk at HHI is a great place to live, whatever your needs from privacy to community activities, from exercise to swimming to walking the beautiful parks, you have a choice. I love my balcony and their sunsets over the low country.

WaterWalk at Shelter Cove is a unique apartment community. First, the staff is dedicated to making sure you are totally satisfied with YOUR apartment home. The choices of floorplans offer something for everyone with amenities that leave nothing out. In addition, the location on the island to dining and shopping is unique. Walking around the building and nearby parks is a special treat. Location, location, location... WaterWalk has it all!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy our apartment, many of the on-going events offered by Alexus and staff, as well as the facilities. The excellent care of the landscaping and grounds is also greatly appreciated. In addition, the staff is always friendly and helpful.

My first experience with the Grills in our building was very frustrating. The lighters didn't work, the grills were very worn. Overall a very pleasant experiences and almost all people we have encountered have been overly friendly. With exception of one neighbor who yells over the deck at our dark if it ever barks.

We like our apartment very much. But the cost becoming a problem. We are now paying $5000 per month and expect a 3 percent increase when we renew our lease. If this continues we will need to move to a smaller apartment or move.

I rented when the community was still under construction and really liked it so my current experience living there This time around I am very disappointed with my apartment was not cleaned properly and the kitchen interior of the hallways look very shabby As is the apartment For the price it should be prestine

A request was submitted several weeks ago and no update as been given to other than it has been ordered. Well. I consider this response as the age old saying…the check is in the mail.

The service provided on every issue is always prompt and done right. At WaterWalk, it is easy to submit a service request and the follow up communications on status and progress are very helpful. The staff here is outstanding.

A roomy apartment in a location convenient to shopping, restaurants, and walking paths. Located on Broad Creek and the marsh, I have a view from every room and a screened porch for when I just want to sit and enjoy the view.

The buildings and grounds are well maintained. The office staff does not give residents the same thoughtful level of care. Training in customer service would greatly improve interactions between residents and office staff.

I am mostly satisfied with my apartment and the community. However, there are several problems. First, security is nonexistent due to the problem with contractor. I understand if that will be fixed very soon, but it has been going on since I moved in at the end of October. Second, there is a problem with my water, leaving a residue in the toilets and smelling bad. I have been told that there is no remedy for this, and I am obviously not satisfied with that. Third, there is a silverfish infestation in my apartment. Exterminator came and sprayed a few of the rooms, but the infestation still exists.
