We moved to Hilton Head Island in February of 2021 after deciding to expand our family business to the area. We compared many properties and Water Walk was by far the best. The leasing staff is extremely friendly (and helpful). We feel as though the cost of living is outweighed by all of the amenities (parking garage, pool, gym, clubhouse, grills and firepits, and daily waste service -to the door). We have really enjoyed walking to Shelter Cove Towne Center for lunch or dinner and shopping.

The staff is wonderful and very responsive. The common areas are well equipped and maintained. The convenience to shopping and restaurants is second to none and the view from our apartment is beautiful and very peaceful. Very happy with our decision to call Waterwalk home.

Staff is very helpful to our needs and provide many gatherings to their residents. It it always fun to meet new and old neighbors. The activities are fun and everyone enjoys them. They now have one fireplace working and are working on the other one. My suggestion that I made last year is they need a recumbent bike because no one uses the spinning wheel bikes.

My overall experience with living in this community for the past year has been wonderful. I feel it is a luxury apartment and I hope that maintenance will continue the cleaning of hallways and touching up paint. I also feel ground maintenance is equally important and this could be improved with trimming and weeding. I understand yard maintenance needs constance and consistent care in Hilton Head area.

WaterWalk is the best apartment community I have ever lived in. The floorpans, the views, the location on HHI cannot be beat. Its so convenient to everything and the other residents and staff are so welcoming and fun!

Fabulous staff, perfect location, we love it and you will too!!! Love the floor plan, the view, and carefree living. The amenities and the people are great! We very much enjoy the resident events. Best decision. Only wish we did it sooner! Also our dog loves it and has made many friends!!!

Awesome facility, staff and location. Highly recommended!! The team at WW worked with us to ensure our unit was available, clean and ready for move in. The closing of our house was delayed a bit but the WW staff was extremely accommodating and understanding. Great folks to work with!!

If you want to get away from the maintenance & daily chores of a home & enjoy life at a leisurely pace, check out WaterWalk at Shelter Cove! I know that sounds like a commercial, but life here is really like a relaxing getaway at a fine hotel! Swimming pool, workout center, club room, & all that with beautiful views of Broad Creek! I'm a two year-plus resident at WalterWalk at Shelter Cove Towne Centre. Clearly there's a reason I've remained at this fabulous property! While I'm a discriminating shopper with a history of renting previously in larger markets like Atlanta and Charleston, it's not just he stunning modern amenities plus beautiful architecture and interior design that have won my WaterWalk loyalty. My busy professional lifestyle requires frequent travel and private down time, both of which are possible due to the superior management of this waterfront community. With Manager Sheila Sands and Associate Manager Rebekah Cann at the helm, any concerns or needs are immediately addressed no matter how big or small the request. In addition to caring about operational issues, they both actually take the time to inquire about my life...and frequently ask "how's it going?" This personable approach matters to me, especially during times of uncertainty with the pandemic looming in our resort town. Recently team member Jodie Waugh made a "house call" to my unit on a Friday afternoon to check on my refrigerator issues! Of course she wore her mask and was socially distanced. I was so grateful for this gesture with family guests about to arrive. This team is amazing and a major factor in my decision to continue living here while I build my business along the southeast coast. I also applaud the maintenance team who turn around solutions faster than any other team I've encountered at previous properties. In summary, my review is absolutely five stars for this community. I submit my feedback with many thanks to the outstanding team that continually delivers peace of mind, exceptional communication and remarkably thoughtful care around the clock. It's a wonderful life at WaterWalk!

Overall a very nice community with a very good staff. With the high rent cost, additional attention to some details would go a long way. Again overall grounds are very nice, but things like regular vacuuming of hallways and cleaning of stairwells would help a lot.

My husband and I moved into our new apartment sight unseen due to Covid. We were mining to the island form Ohio and were not able to come down. But the leasing staff was outstanding! They did video walkthroughs of apartments and floor plans. They answered all of my questions happily and quickly. When move in day finally came we were not disappointed. This place is unbelievable! Beyond stunning. And even better, the other residents are so fun too! We have only been here two weeks and have already met and talked with more of the people here then we did at the apartment complex we lived at for 4 years in Ohio! Moving here was the best decision we could have made!

Overall we have enjoyed living at WaterWalk. The location, for our purposes, is ideal. The onsite staff is professional, friendly and timely in providing information and service requests. To date, the only the only areas of disappointment are the unfinished stairwell which are are not in keeping with a class A facility and the lack of exercise equipment in the fitness center.

Maintenance and cleanliness is difficult because of the pet friendly rules for this facility. Dogs are not under complete control of the walker. Many dogs are entering restricted areas on a regular basis against existing rules. Management acknowledges this violation yet it keeps happening. Doge are often peeing on the shrubs and trees in the courtyard.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND- The interior hallways need to be maintained better. The carpet seems to need more frequent vacuuming and even though the carpet was just cleaned, there are stains beginning to be noticed again. Also, when people move in there should be closer supervision of the moving personnel. We notice that trash has been left and drink containers. It may be appropriate to require a refundable deposit of $100 subject to an inspection to determine if corrections need to be made. We love this community and offer these comments in the interest of keeping it as special as we believe it is.

If you want to live where you can hear your neighbor cough through the walls, have constant maintanence issues that can't be fixed, and walk your dog by an alligator pond this place is for you. Staff seems nice but they give you the run around and lie about problems and fixing them. They say to contact them but nothing actually gets done. Poor craftsmanship inside the actual apt. They will only get worse with time but given the location they will continue to be rented.
