Waterwalk is the premiere rental in the Hilton Head/ Bluffton area. The units are spacious , well appointed, great views, and convenient for shopping/ dining without the need for driving. It is a " hassle-free" environment. Maintenance , the gym, the pool--all taken care of.

Overall,my experience with Shelter Cove is pleasant.Sofar no complaints.People are extremely friendly and helpful. We meet every Friday in the social hall and we made many friends. We are included in many activities,book club,Maj andPoker.We also go to the pool.

Architecturally beautiful living accommodations with lovely common space indoors and outdoors. An intergenerational age group that has a sense of community. Very welcoming to pets. A gracious and comfortable home for all!

The amentities need to be cared for. They look really bad for this type of apartment. I’m speaking of the outdoor seating & tables around the firepit in building 1 and the grills. Replace them or stain them. They look ridiculous.

We are moving out in May because we purchased a home, but our stay here at Waterwalk was just Fabulous, anyone that’s considering moving here could call me for a reference anytime. Great Staff and the Management Team is just Superb!!!

Waterwalk would have these monthly parties (like Mardi Gras) but they would never have enough food and drink for everyone that comes. Have them less often and provide the party with more food and drink. For instance there was one box of chocolates for about 10 people when there were about 20-30 people at the party.

Waterwalk is a lovely place to live. Everyone is very friendly and each resident respects the privacy of others. Service requests are handled in a timely manner. The office staff is both friendly and helpful. We started our married life 58 years ago in graduate housing and are now, 58 years later, enjoying the luxuries of this beautiful complex. We couldn’t be more pleased.

The units themselves are nice. That said, the building is highly confusing to get around. One elevator on only one side of the building. Lots and lots of rules. Trying to get a guest inside you need to break out an owners manual as it's highly inconvenient and confusing. Guest parking is not good.

I am too busy to complete this recommendation every time I have a maintenance issue. I love to recommend this team every chance I get, and I pass these recommendations along every chance I get. I have lived in several different apartments within the last 10 years, and I find this one to be one of the best maintained of them all.

The staff is great; maintenance team is responsive and super-helpful; Trash Fairies have gone above and beyond in re our moving debris; the location is terrific; we're pleased and blessed to making Water Walk our home.

The Amenities at Phase 1 OF WATERWALK APARTMENTS add an extension to your apartment. The Beautifully Decorated Clubroom allows for Gracious Personal Entertainment of Large or Small Groups as does the Outside Patio, & Fire-pit Area. The Pool Area is Spacious with Tables, Umbrellas & Many Chase-loungers that allow for sunning or reading in the shade. People use the 2 Workout Rooms individually or with a Job Coach to Exercise & Improve Their Stamina. The Staff plan frequent Social Gatherings on the Premise or at Local Restaurants & Businesses that are mostly in walking distance from the Waterwalk Apartments in Phase 1. A TRULY GREAT PLACE TO LIVE AND ENJOY LIFE! S.D.

We love it here and have no plans to move. The only thing I would complain about is the noise between apartments. I wish there were better insulation. We have two young kids above us and you can here them running around all day. We like the sense of community and the occasional treats in the common area and also during holidays.

Not the upscale maintenance free situation I had hoped for. No screens so cannot open windows and cannot clean windows from the inside, bathroom fixtures risky and without grab bars, expansive glass in shower requires tedious squeegee -ing after each use (no water softener), no heating element in bathroom fan, no pullouts in lower kitchen cabinets, some light switches inappropriately placed. Visitor parking and access extremely inconvenient. Poor soundproofing in apts - can hear neighbors plumbing, dryers and footsteps.

Maintenance issues need to be addressed more expeditiously, especially building issues in public areas. Issues inside the apartment are handled well. Not happy that friends can no longer drop mail or envelopes with the concierge.

Our floor had a few incidences with ?young adults as well as three COVID cases one resulting in death that the renters were concerned that the issues should have been handled differently. That is unfortunate since most of us enjoy living here. The parking garage leaves a lot to be desired. People do not park on their floors and XL trucks dont allow two cars to pass, some back in and dont care if they take up 1 1/2 spaces and long term guest park on their friends floor for the duration of their visit. This all could be alleviated by numbering spaces and assigning your apartment allocated spaces when you sign your contract.

Its a great place to live . Easy, really convenient to shop especially grocery and dining. Great walking areas and pleasant views . Covered parking and excellent building access safety. Birds tweeting in the morning tells you daily this is a happy place

The Greystar management staff is very personal and attentive to resident needs and makes residents feel a sense of community and a genuine caring about their lifestyle needs. WaterWalk apartment homes are an upscale resident complex in a prime location in the heart of Hilton Head Island.

There is major issue that we've not experienced elsewhere with the sound of people walking in the floor above. Something was definitely not done right. Also the appliances are not what I would have expected from a luxury apartment.

What a gem Waterwalk is ... The community is well-located, in walking distance to two grocery stores (Kroger, Whole Foods), a number of restaurants, retail shops, and Starbucks. And, Shelter Cove holds many events (concerts, movies, fireworks, yoga) and boasts a community park and lovely walking trails. And the Breeze trolley that traverses Hilton Head stops here. The apartments are well-appointed - high-end kitchen appliances and modern bathroom finishes, spacious - generous closet space, and floor plan layouts are well designed. Amenity spaces (pool, fitness, community room, courtyards, grilling stations, firepits) are top-notch and well maintained. The views of Broad Creek, high or low tide, are stunning. Lastly, the management staff, Sheila and Rebekah, as well as maintenance, listen and are responsive to resident needs. Robin R.

Great location, spacious living arrangements, friendly neighbors and staff. Quite living and plenty of amenities to bike and walk to. Mid island location is perfect and the sunsets are incredible. We are pleased about our decision to live at Water Walk.

The most professional/pleasant community I have ever rented. Feels like living in my own condo with a concierge staff. The views, layout and square footage are phenomenal...and grounds are kept in an exceptional manner.

Great community, nice friendly residents. Administration and maintenance staff very responsive. Neighborhood is quiet and has a great location near both shopping and dining. Units are spacious and nicely laid out.
