After having been a resident here for almost a year, I can honestly say that these apartments are amazing. Super spacious, amazing facilities, kind people, and wonderful environment. The office staff is honest, communicative, and always polite! All of this is wonderful but the real cherry on top is the WONDERFUL maintenance crew. Edwin and Angel are truly amazing. No matter the hour, the problem, or the frenzy you are in they show up ready to help as best they can. If they can't fix it, they will get the right people to your place as soon as they can. They are kind, respectful, and completely honest. I love living here and will be staying for a while!

I have lived at Fox Lake for about 7 months so far, and my only complaint is that sometimes parking can get tight. Besides that, I have no complaints about the apartments or facilities in general. The pools are kept clean and the grounds are kept free of trash. The rent is cheap for what you get and I would absolutely recommend this apartment complex to a friend

Fox Lake is a great place to live. I will be renewing my lease. The apartments are modern and spacious. There are tons of amenities. Staff is friendly. I've rarely needed help from maintenance but they are quick to respond and always leave the apartment clean. Would recommend others live here!

Staff is efficient, and the maintenance team is very quick to respond. Apartments are well laid out, and the material choices are adequate. The pathways provide a nice break from the sidewalks, although you must watch out for dog turds. The heron in the lake is fun to watch, as are the many turtles and fish. The parking is tight sometimes, and some of the curves are blind. Provided you luck out with good neighbors, it's a great place to live.

Fox Lake has been a great place to live for the last two years. The staff in the office has always been professional and courteous, and despite having so many residents they still recognize me and ask about my kids the few times I ever have to go to the office. The grounds are well-kept and clean, and the dumpsters are emptied on a regular basis so even in the summer it never smells like trash. The lake is pretty and it's nice to have the walking trail around it for me and my kids to get some exercise when it's warm out. Overall it's the best complex I've lived in.

As a part of my daily walk I meander around the lake at Fox Lake apts and watch the turtles sun themselves. The maintenance crew is not only excellent? They respond quickly. The office staff is also very helpful

I have lived here for 6 months, and I am very happy with Fox Lake! The apartment is just what I needed. It is reasonably quiet, spacious, and I have felt safe living here. I do hear barking from neighbors' dogs, but it isn't too intrusive for me. My experience has been that most places are not this quiet. I also really like that there is a sprinkler system installed. The staff have been friendly and responsive to any inquiry I have made. The only real maintenance I have needed was related to my initial move in, but they responded in a reasonable amount of time. I was impressed with the move in procedure and process. They have a few steps that are in place to protect the occupants, which I haven't seen before. The buildings and grounds have been kept very nicely. Parking hasn't been a problem either. The location is perfect for my needs, and I find I can walk to most places I need to go to in a very reasonable amount of time. It has also been impressive to anyone who has visited me. People have commented on how really nice the place is, and the price range here is reasonable for this quality of apartment in this neighborhood. I like Fox Lake, and they may be stuck with me for a while!

Fox Lake Apartments have been so accomodating to me, and have always gone the extra mile. I feel very lucky to have gotten in a handicapp ready apartment. Everybody from the office to maintenance are always willing to help. I have absolutely no plan on leaving anytime soon.

I love this place. I love the land, the whole lovely property, and I love the people who make my life here a true blessing. It was in late July 1992, I read an ad for an apartment in Knoxville, TN, that sounded like heaven to me. My late husband, 3 children and I had lived in our own home in Oak Ridge, and I needed a place for myself now that my children were on their own. The ad described Fox Lake as offering 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with washer and dryer hookups, some of the apartments with fireplaces, and some placed next to and/or with views of a 2.5 acre spring-fed lake. A dear friend in Oak Ridge and I immediately hopped into her car and we arrived excited and breathless at the office here. We looked at the different floor plans, the lake and fell in love with Fox Lake, which felt like a divine blessing. My apartment is next to the lake -- nothing impedes the view of the forest across the lake, or the view of the great blue heron who lived directly across from my deck. Until last year he arrived at the same spot every summer and I have many photos I've taken over the years, even some of new heron baby birds. I had just turned 60 when I moved in and I am now 85 years old, the oldest Fox Lake resident. I have claimed many times (or exclaimed!) that the only time I would leave here it would be feet first. The staff is truly brilliant, starting with the manager Susan. As an artist myself, I can talk art with her, or books or the world of politics. The accountant has had his notary stamp ready for my local step children to keep documents for me and for themselves. When all the light bulbs need replacing, or the cooling and heating filters need to be replaced, or any of the other things in a home need attention, the Fox Lake maintenance crew appears and handles everything right away. My storage locker, at this time of life, is indispensable and very affordable. My children know they can check up with the manager and/or the leasing agent, if for any reason they are concerned about me, and their phone numbers as well as my Knoxville step children's numbers are available to the Fox Lake staff. I just love this place.

I have never had a problem with my neighbors like other apartments I've lived. I've been here over three years. The rooms are spacious and the location is perfect. It's a quick hop to the interstate and you can get almost anywhere in under 15 mins (depending on traffic). Ask for Dorthy when applying! She's been great - from my maintenance needs to renewing my lease. Parking can be a little tricky sometimes, but as of lately it's been easy to find a spot. Highly recommend for affordability and location.

Initially this place was wonderful. However, several weeks in is when parking became an issue. There is literally nowhere to park after 8 PM, so hopefully you can adapt your schedule around that. We are given parking passes and management has threatened to tow visitors parked in tenant parking, but all they do is threaten. They stick a notice on your door about parking and I suppose they think that will appease us. I have not once seen a tow truck in here. It's infuriating walking past some entitled "guest" who parks in a tenant spot. I pay to park close! Every step my upstairs neighbor takes is thunderous, and my plates and glasses rattle in the cabinets. I can hear the neighbor beside me snore ALL NIGHT and then I'm greeted by their alarm in the morning. The walls might as well be made of cardboard. Their is no sound dampening material to be found. Want to listen to music? Better use headphones or expect a noise complaint from the neighbor that has kids screaming and banging all day. We are currently waiting on our third inspection in as many weeks. It feels more like a prison than an apartment. People just throw trash wherever they see fit, and I've even seen pill bottles floating in the lake. There are obvious drug addicts here that make me worry about my belongings both in my car and apartment. Anyway, the lack of soundproofing sucks. The parking situation sucks. The litter sucks. The sketchy people suck. The invasion on a weekly basis sucks. These units were cheaply built and it is becoming more and more apparent each day. The maintenance guys are awesome though. Do your homework, find somewhere else to live if you value any sort of peace and quiet.

We have enjoyed living at Fox Lake Apts and would absolutely recommend it to others. We have really appreciated the quick response of the maintenance team and the friendliness of the staff. We often use the walking trail around the lake and also walk up to Catholic High School to use the trail there as well. Fox Lake is in a great location. It is easy to get to Kingston Pike, Middlebrook, and 40.

Just moved in a little over a month ago and have already called 4 times to make a noise complaint. Officer only came over 1 time. Then the issue started happening around midnight. When we moved in we thought it was amazing. Well upon hanging our clothes up the shelves broke. Had to replace them. The key for our front door gets stuck constantly. This has been asked to get fixed. Still not fixed. Had to pay a ton of money to move in due to "not enough rental history" were talking about an amount that is just nuts to pay for an apartment. I could put it as a down payment on a friggin house. But we were in a time crunch so I went ahead and did it. Well upon rent for the second month we apparently left out the pet fee for rent. Did not even get notified until days after rent was due. Was advised to bring a check asap. And could possibly have a late fee now due to not being notified until the day after rent is considered past due. Now they are redoing the parking lot and are making us park across the street and take a shuttle to our apartment. I have a baby and I can assure you there is no car seat on this shuttle. Not to mention having to park my car somewhere that I can not see nor hear if the alarm goes off. Not happy at all with it as of now. Communication is key.

Enjoyed my stay at Fox Lake! Any request was taken care of very quickly. Parking was a little tricky at times. Front office did a great job and was very organized. Paperwork was explained very well.

I have lived in Fox Lake for almost four years now, and my experience has been very positive. I have always appreciated the courteousness and professionalism of the staff that works there. Susan and Bethany are great, and have been nothing but helpful! The maintenance crew has been very prompt when completing tasks, and they do a thorough job. The area is quiet, and I've always been able to sleep comfortably and uninterrupted at night. You can't beat this quality, convenience, and location for the price, either, in my opinion. So, I highly recommend Fox Lake!

I just recently moved into Fox Lake at the beginning of May. My boyfriend was moving down here and we were apartment shopping. Fox lake was the first place we looked and needless to say it was the last. We absolutely loved it and still do! The staff that worked with us was amazing! Unfortunately the first floor plan for the 2bedrooms we looked at was booked the next day but Bethany found us a different 2bedroom that we honestly loved more. Bethany was so helpful with the whole process and very efficient at getting everything done in such a timely manner. Bethany actually helped us out when moving in because we ended up needed the keys a few days before due to my boyfriends family helping him move from a different state and the switch was easy. So far we have loved every minute of it and haven't had any complaints. I love the huge property that Fox Lake has and the walking trail, it gives us a great place to walk our dog. It's such a homey feel and everyone else in the community has been nothing short of wonderful. We are so happy that we chose Fox Lake as our home so far!

My husband and I moved here about 5 months ago. The entire place is spacious and beautiful, but our deck is like the cherry on top. We love the outdoors, so being able to hear the pond fountain and the birds in the morning while sipping our coffee out on the deck is hands-down the best part of the morning. More great perks: granite counter tops, plenty of windows to allow natural light, a beautiful walking trail around the water, friendly (and quiet) neighbors, and a great location (easy access to schools, neighborhoods, grocery stores, and the interstate). Fox Lake is a great place to call home.

I have rented the clubhouse to host parties on many occasions . I love living here The staff is friendly and helpful to answer any of my concerns. My husband and I love living in Fox Lake. Not only do we have a recently-updated, spacious, welcoming apartment to call our home, but it's centrally located to everything in our community. We can be to work or the grocery store in 5 minutes or less and are only 15-20 minutes from Market Square, Downtown Knoxville, and the University of Tennessee. The complex has all the amenities we could want and is dog-friendly. We especially love getting out on the tennis courts during summer nights! The staff is always friendly and ready to help us with anything we need. Fox Lake has become much more than a place to live for us - it's our community and our home.

I have been a resident at Foxlake for about 5 months now. From the moment we walked onto the property we felt cared for by the staff. My family and I have lived at a couple of different condominiums around Knoxville over the years and Foxlake has been the best experience we have had. The Maintenance team has meet our needs in a timely manner and done a quality job. For the most part the residence there are quite and respectful. I would recommend Foxlake to anyone looking for a great apartment or Condominium. -Spencer

I've lived at Fox Lake for a little over a year now and have really loved my time there. The apartments are nice. The fact that there is a walking trail behind the pond is amazing. You can go for a walk and really feel like you are secluded from some of the busyness of West Knoxville. I'm happy to be living here for a second year.

I lived at Fox lake for 9 months and ended up leaving early. I would never live here again!! I've loved all my other apartments in Knoxville, but this one was terrible. The management doesn't care about the tenants and are rude and usually unhelpful. The complex is very loud and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing- just walking across the floor the tenants that live above me literally rattle my apartment. There is dog poop everywhere and dogs barking constantly. The two pools are nice, but when it gets warm they are so crowded from people that there are no chairs available. My car has been broken into right in front of my building and when I notified the office, nothing was done about it and I wasn't even given a call back. In the winter the "lake" was flooded so often that the walking trail was un-useable and under water. I've had my oven break, my dishwasher break, and my air vents/ filters have never been changed by maintenance.... It looks nice, but don't be fooled by the pictures online--come check it out first. Definitely pass this apartment by and live somewhere else.

I have had a wonderful experience here unlike some other reviews on here. Very peaceful and quiet as well as nicely maintained. A very safe place to live. Even though they are cheaper places to rent having a secured feeling as well as clean place to live. Would recommend you take a second look when looking at places to rent it is worth it believe me.
