Wonderful units (recently renovated). Got a great deal on my first unit, decided to upgrade, and so far I love my new apartment! Love the area and love how quiet it is! Staff is super friendly and really makes an effort to get to know their residents!

    I've been here for 3 yrs. Highs and Lows with experience and service. The first 1.5 year was great until Grant and Viri left leasing office and all new staff took over when Cortland bought out property. New staff disrupted level of trust and rapport built with communication approaches during last 1.5 years. I didn't appreciate how they handled the mail center getting broken into 3 times during tax season. Reagan- Assistant Leasing manager, minimized my concerns when I called to inquire about the events and stated everything they couldn't do instead of stating things they could do to help. In my experience, Viri- in leasing office was the reason I have stayed due to her being consistently helpful, knowledgeable, professional, with always greeting with a positive attitude and attempts to get to know your person-hood. She doesn't just treat you like a number at a complex, but instead like human being. Thank you Viri.

      I live here currently and I am so very happy. I am aware that I will be FORCED to move out or transfer to another apartment after my lease expires. I agreed to a lease increase 2 months ago when I renewed. Today they are trying to bribe me into moving to a remodeled unit with a 150.00 increase. There is nothing wrong with my apartment now, I was also told at the time of move in my apartment was recently upgraded. All bout more money. They don't care about keeping good renters.

        While I moved in during renovations, the grounds have always been kept clean and tidy. The staff really cares about you, youre not just nameless resident here. The units are nice and spacious and theres never an issue with parking. This is a community I believe I can call home for a good while.

          I love the area! Its perfect for us! I grew up in south Austin and dont plan on leaving this area anytime soon! My job is right down the street so my commute is great! I know Austin is only getting bigger but thats just something we all have to adapt to!

              Remodeling and raising the price. New ownership only cares about money not loyal renters. I was told when I moved in this was a newly remodeled unit, so why does it need to be remodeled again? They have over priced themselves out of my budget.

                Very quiet and clean place with easy access to various shops. I live within 10 mins of everything I could need and like that the bus stop is right outside of the complex. Everyone keeps to themselves but people here are very friendly. I cant wait for the pool to be complete!

                      Comfortable and relaxed. The whole staff took care of us in what turned out to be a difficult time.                           move-in was horrible my lease agreement wasn’t properly done received a notice of eviction due to my lease being wrong my apartment wasn’t properly cleaned my shower head was molded the paint in the tub was pealing i wasn’t able to shower in my apartment for almost 5 days.... all of this and i’ve only been here 2 weeks

                            I like my neighbors. It’s never too loud. There are a lot of kids always at the pool. The community is dog friendly. There is a lot of construction going on now. Beautiful community overall. Parking can be tight at times. Walmart/target are across the street with easy access.

                              Rude assistant manager, slow if any response to maintenance requests, dirty grounds, dirty hallways, undesirable tenants, hardly any parking if you don’t rent a garage or covered parking, towing line doesn’t ever come out if someone is parked in your paid for spot, constant furniture at your trash, and can never get a hold of anyone via phone. The front office is severely understaffed and incompetent. Save yourself the trouble. I advise you look elsewhere. While they have recently started renovating old units, the majority are not, and the property is covered with contractors that don’t clean up after themselves and will likely play loud music on the weekends because they decided to stay the night instead of going home. This property was once great to stay at, but was purchased by cortland properties and everyone was replaced with their new staff. Everyone seems to be completely incompetent except the property manager. The property manager has been the only person that has had clear answers. When we renewed our lease last year, the assistant manager wasn’t complement enough to answer our questions about the changes and flat out lied to us instead of telling us she didn’t know. Luckily the property manager was there to correct her. Since the renewing of our lease, we’ve had unanswered maintenance requests which has recently caused water damage in our apartment which will not be fixed. Pay more to live elsewhere if you can, a good community that is a little more is better than this complex by far.

                                This has been a horrible place to live. We have had problems since day one. The constructions wakes us up, takes up most of the parking, and has caused us both to get screws in our tires because of their laziness. They leave unoccupied open and homeless people squat in them. They are a total mess. They put all the trash on the balcony and it just flies out everywhere. The apartments look horrible with the new paint job. I have lived in several apartments around Austin and this has by far been the worst. I have lived in another Cortland apartment and I cannot believe it's the same company. Outstanding how horrible Waterstone is. I would never recommend this complex. The management also never has any solutions to any issues.

                                  Hasnt been the worst but definitely hasn’t been the best. I was treated and taken care of at a student living apartment better than here. I’m disappointed since I’m paying triple the amount I was somewhere else.

                                    Great customer service from management staff. Very prompt with service requests. Location of the complex is excellent for access to all of Austin. The service size of the complex is the reason I selected it from all that we viewed before making a decision. It is not so large that management does not know everyone that lives here.

                                        They are remodeling the apartments and the grounds, it looks absolutely beautiful. They have a ton of events for their residents which have been a fantastic way to meet the people around you. Its also close to a police station so safety hasn't been a concern for me.

                                            Waterstone Apartments is the best apartment home I've ever lived in! I lived here a few years ago and loved my one bedroom apartment. I ended up moving to a brand new mid rise in South Austin and although the apartment itself was beautiful and brand new, it never felt like home the way Waterstone did. Also they were ridiculously priced. After my 10 months living at that mid rise, I had to move back to where I felt at home (Waterstone Apartments). The renovations that are taking place at Waterstone Apartments are fantastic! If you haven't seen the new renovated apartment homes, you are missing out. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryers included, and patios are a few of the reasons I had to come back. I plan on living here until i'm ready to get into a house. The office associates are the friendliest I've ever met. The very few maintenance issues I've had have been addressed and taken care of same day. I'm very excited for the additions to the pool and the soon to come bark parks. I love Waterstone Apartments.

                                              Enjoy living here and the renovated units. They started painting my building then stopped like 1+ months ago so that doesnt look very good. The lighting at the front of the complex turning in off slaughter is very hard at night as its not very well lit. Any beds and dead grass in the grassy areas. Staff is awesome!

                                                The policy in regards to towing vehicles on property needs to be updated. Takes way too much time. Should be a more reasonable time from start to finish. And the individual parking in front of a garage or carport should be fined and towed.
