The staff is very helpful!. Very nice residents. The maintenance team is excellent. The Mix and Mingles and parties are really fun. The Plano Overture is beautifu!, prettier than any senior community I have ever seen. Open areas, wide hallways.

Because of the high rent increases there has been a lot of resident turnover. Rate increases are based on who you are; sometimes there’s no rhyme or reason to the increase. Garage rental and pets rent have also gone up. Most daytime events are resident led. We wonder what happened to the budget since so many things have been taken away from us.

Poor service no hot water in washing machine this is the third time I have ask for this problem to be repaired they have tried to fix it but still no hot water also gate has been open for two weeks people have been walking in very unsafe

Confrontational Manager. Stressed Tennants

We am not happy here. For some reason there is too much drama. Our so called ambassador group is out of control. They seem to have authority over other tenants. They need to be controlled. Other issues I don’t care to discuss. Our manager is confrontational and extremely angry. It's a very tense situation even attempting to speak just to say good morning. We want out of here so badly. We are stressed and have been for several months. It is affecting my health. I am 79 years old and all I want is to be reasonably happy and not have to deal with a teen age personality everyday. It is impossible to have a simple conversation with -----. She angers quickly. It is very stressful. We just came from a meeting with here where she showed her usual talents. My wife was so distraut she had to lay down to calm herself. We shouldn't have to put up with this nonsense at our age. The assistant Manager is an organized person that never shows anger and is non confrontational. Our Jacuzzi has been broken for months and there has been no attempt to repair it. This is another point of contention with -----.

I am very happy here. I believe I have a beautiful apartment and I’m very proud to show it to others. The other members here are not as friendly as I had hoped they would be. Sometimes I will go downstairs and no one will speak to me even if I speak to them.

Terrible

This building doesn't have an Owner to report your indifference at Overture Plano. This place is bogus and is deteriorating since I have been here. They constantly receive a different staff; The ones that were OK has left; so that tells you how this place is operating. I am beginning to think I am in the House of Hell; everyone seems bogus and not real; I really think they have been released from the insane institution. I have not been treated properly. This building is to make you comfortable; they have treated me like HELL; Noise done by the complex by ripping the frame outside my bedroom; taking AC out and I lived in Heat for 6 days; stole my Amazon Fresh Groceries; lied about a Bed Bug Inspector arriving; installed an additional Loud Horn above the apartment; inspector of the water system did not have ID and Maintenance was not accompanying them. So I have been living in HELL with a great deal of evil demons. This place is not all it claims to be. I lease this apartment for PEACE and I have only Received HELL. They want me to MOVE even suggested it; I think this is a short term lease apartment due to people comes and go all the time.

We maintain an apartment at Overture as a second home, so we are not living here full time. I wanted a place close to my father who lives down the street at Anthology Senior Assisted Living. We signed our lease just before the pandemic started, so we were grateful that we had a place to come to that was not a hotel; we did not have to worry about housekeeping or others being in our living space; we could maintain social distancing; we could have secure internet service; we did not have to stay with my sister who has cats (my husband is very allergic to them); etc. We enjoy the apartment every time we come. It is so easy when we arrive. We just take our luggage out of the car and go up to our apartment which is stocked with things we need. Yes, it is more expensive than a hotel, but it is more secure in many ways. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars to Safety above is because of the follow-ons through the driveway gate. Don't know how this can be changed without inconveniencing residents.

Things have really changed in the last year. The Happy Hour is gone, Breakfast is not like it used to be. The Halls, floors and elevators are not kept clean. When we ask questions in the Suggestion Box we don't get a response.

We signed our lease on Aug 30, 2021, at that time there was no air-conditioning on the fourth-floor hallway. It is now August ,2022 and still no air conditioning on fourth floor hallway. Can you really live in Texas without air conditioning with record days of over 100 degrees? Overture, Plano, Texas is a four-story building and we have one hard working house keeper for all four floors, God love her, that is too much for one person. Our elevator two, is an on again off again issue sometimes for weeks on end. The west door to parking lot you can exit but not enter. The security gates are opened more than they are closed and secure. This is a 55 plus apartment building, average age is Seventy Five years old and not very mobil. I won’t even get into the amenities that were promised at the lease signing that have fallen by the way side. Dee Handal Dated August 1, 2022

Some maintenance work requires the skill of an outside contractor. Our maintenance guys are doing the best they can with the resources they are given. The air conditioning doesn’t work properly in some units and some of the hallways.

Just moved in march. Staff and residents are very friendly. Pool and exercise room are very nice. They have a lot of activities for everyone. Dog friendly. Only problem is with a very noisy neighbor upstairs, hopefully will be resolved soon .

I didn’t know what was going on with my air conditioner quickly it because warmer than usual It was 90 degrees inside The maintenance emergency 24 hours was very quick response to fix this problem I was very sick dealing with diabetes & Asthma Great team work with the phone operator & maintenance Great place to live 55 & older Thank you I would recommend to my friends The (M & M) family

We have been happy here; however, the sound insulation in the ceiling is not as good as we'd like. Also, our truck's catalytic converter was stolen on the premises. Not happy with the quality of flooring, cabinets. Kitchen cabinets are too shallow.

Have a few issues with moving in, in regards to design of what I expected and 1 repair that was never repaired. Although it was not a safety issue, I expected it to be repaired. Maintenence did come to repair, but did not repair. The head repair man left the apartment and never returned or call to say, I can't repair this issue.

When we first moved in the apartments were very nice and quite. But as time went by more and more residents with over large dogs were allowed in. Living below and next to one of those "neighbors" was a living hell. Could not wait for our lease to expire.
