maintenance staff is great and takes care of problems quickly. Facility is clean. Package deliver has improved with amazon locker. Quiet facility. Work out facility has great equipment and is alway clean and area is comfortable to excerise in with a vairety of weight machines

I'm so excited to live at this place it's a blessing my mother and I were going to a few financial problems and God shows up and shows out. Because I'm having a Place for Mom give us a call and say hey I know your lease is ending at your other complex your mother has some medical conditions that are major funds tight even though she retired General Motors and has 100% medical coverage for the rest of your life it still makes things types with 20 different medications and others and they say I have an apartment complex in Plano called overture Plano and they took care of us the move-in special was awesome. So now we're comfortable we're moving in on Monday 11th 2018 of August and we're awesome happy Kingsley and everyone at the office Michelle everybody was Donna everybody was so awesome my name is John McKnight and my mother is Mamie like Mamie Eisenhower former first lady of the United States married to Dwight Eisenhower Eisenhower and we live in apartment 107 so happy to be home we found 18 month lease towards the end of that will be building a house but this is a great place to relax and get ready for the final years my mother wants a house to spend her final days in

I enjoy living at Overture. It is better than most similar facilities that are close by. It is convenient to just about everything you need or will need. Stores, Freeway, Restaurants, Movies, Hospital and Doctors.

Excellent community if you enjoy your privacy and complete independence, preparing your own meals, have a car, etc. Community feeling is overall quite good as opposed to living in a regular apartment. Would not recommend if you require additional services.

I would not be a good advocate for Overture. Front doors frequently do not lock automatically. Animal policies not adequately enforced. No longer an active expectation for residences (allow move ins that require 24 assistance).

The elevators seem to be out of service more than in. The #3 elevator has been down for more than 10 days with the elevator company promising to get a part asap which hasn't happened. The #2 elevator was being used for someone to move out. Both John's are excellent maintenance people. Management here is weak and doesn't enforce rules such as keeping pets away from the food area. Haven't seen a security person since it was announced there was security.

General first impression is fresh,clean, cheerful, peaceful environment. Looking forward to more colorful horticulture in courtyard and gardens. Though architecture is extremely contemporary, would prefer more classic, traditional gardens.

I enjoy living at Overture Plano. It is a very nice community. The management is good, all of the staff is friendly and very helpful. I love the location of Overture because it is near the neighborhood where I have lived for the past 16 years. I will and have already recommended it to a friend who is considering downsizing. We are here because all of the people that we have are very ice, and friendly. The location was great for us, we are only about 15 minutes from our kids. The actives that they offer are all great. The Food is just what they said would be there for us. I We love the entertainment is just great.

Good except commuter room assistance I gave up my computer and printer because of the well furnished room which now has no one to help us and request for making my patio hide a large unit that is the only view I have! I planted two bushes as a beginning !! P

We are generally happy here. Some of our neighbors have become almost family. If the rent goes much higher we will be forced to relocate. There is an abundance of retirement communities in this area, many of them less costly for comparable accommodations.

I had a great experience the first few months of living at The Overture. However, I subsequently learned that I was paying a much higher rate than other new residents coming in. At that time, I believe The Overture was for sale and management started giving concessions in order to fill capacity. Also, the appliances are sub-standard i.e. do not have self-cleaning ovens, refrigerators do not have water/ice in the door, washer/dryer are not up to par (washer does not allow hot water, only lukewarm ???

lots of fun things to do with people my own age. Love the non smoking Drumba and water aerobics are my favorite group exercise . Enjoy Sunday afternoon and Monday evenings playing mexican train, always something to do.

It seems in the 5 months that I lived here the quality of service and amenities have gone way down. Also this apt is understaffed. In answer th your question below..... at this time I would not necessarily recommend this apt. Rent here isvery expensive People over 55 are on budgets.!!!!

Just moved in August 2, Friendly residents. Still getting used to the small size of my part. 675 ft.². I love that the entire complex is enclosed. So you can just go downstairs anytime and get your mail, or use the computers, or the gym. I do wish they would have some classes in the gym that would cater to those of us who are physically fit.

Since I moved here, the rules and regulations have been inconsistently changed. The staff has changed so often that it is impossible to know the names of who does what, although we are told every staff member is cross trained, they don't seem to be able to answer questions asked them. For instance, the concierge doesn't know anything about the activities calendar. When I moved in, I felt this was a wonderful place, and recommended it to several of my friends. Over the 6 months I have been here I'm not sure I would recommend it to anyone.

A nice place to live. We are close to lots of restaurants, shops and activities. Our apt. is large and comfortable and they allow our two dogs to live with us, which is important. There are 3 dogs parks nearby and we enjoy using those.

From the moment that I walked through the door I knew that Overture was going to be different from other communities I had visited. I felt like I was finally home. The staff as well as the residents were out going and had positive commits about the property. People are very friendly and willing to help in any way they can.
