Theft
My father, who was elderly, lived at these apartments for over 12 years. When I went to collect his things, one of the employees of the complex had already gone in and took everything. I have left multiple messages over the span of two months to the ownership of this complex and the office and have received zero response. He didn’t have a living will so legally there’s nothing I can do. I myself have owned a company, and if ever an employee stole anything from any customer, a response and some retribution would be minimal. All I have left is karma. But if you’re looking to rent here, this is what has taken place. Multiple messages over 2 months. Management has known all along. Not one call.

No way to opt out of smartrent 3rd part digital door lock
New property owners are forcing 3rd party smart upgrades from company based in arizona. Never agreed to random 3rd party being in charge of my door. I would not recommend going with a place that doesn't care how long you have been renting and doesnt care that this will keep me from renewing

I have lived here for more then 4 years, when I first moved in my apartment wasnt renovated which was fine especially from where we moved from, nothing was updated my carpets where cleaned at the best. I’ve had many issues with my apartment over the years but they always got fixed, over the past year my apartment has started to fall apart mold in the back restroom, closets falling apart, I put a service request and it doesn’t get done for at least a week!!! Meanwhile the maintenance guys that do stick around are sitting in their golf carts on their phone hidden somewhere… the 2 ladies in the front Alexis and adrianna are worthless, they have no clue how to run an apartment complex, back pool is always green, dog poop everywhere no Security at night cops always being called the manager doesn’t even leave her office to check her property trash is always over full! Oh by the way don’t have anyone come visit you they will stalk your apartment and count how many times they have seen that person their but they don’t care about the alcoholic who is always yelling from his balcony or the drug addicts who use the back pool as their hang out or them fighting in front of everyone in the back! Do your research for what your going to pay at this dump you can find something so much better for your money!

When filing a complaint, the management ignores it, even when it has been reported several times. People smoke on the stairs which they use the stairs as an ashtray and throw their cigarette butts on the ground which is never picked up by the staff because they do not have a grounds keeper. Maintenance is minimal so you have to fix things yourself. Dogs also are allowed to poop on the grounds so inadvertently the grounds is covered with poop, & management does nothing to stop people from doing it, so the residence has to live with it.

Good things about this apartment: apartments are basically soundproof since next to the airport. Spacious, and pretty. Office staff makes an effort. Bad things: the price just keeps on hiking up. Our rent used to be 700 and now (never missing a day of rent, still in the exact same unit) they're asking us to pay almost 1000. The maintenance is hit or miss (there have been times they were efficient and one time they left a huge hole in our bathroom wall, and insinuated the problems with plumbing were our fault). Our unit has pretty awful lighting and no cieling fan because of previous plumbing problems. There are occasional roaches. We just cant keep paying more and more for the exact same unit.

MAINTENANCE IS HORRIBLE. OFFICE STAFF ARE INCOMPETENT. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Whenever anything breaks it takes at least a month before maintenance even looks at it. When they finally repair, in my experience they never get it right and have to come back multiple times over weeks or months. I have items I have been trying to get repaired for almost 1 year that are still not getting fixed. Office staff will repeatedly lie and say things are going to get fixed but they do not. They conveniently "lose" tickets or close tickets without even working on them.

Had an incident where I was harshly accused of dumping furniture with no proof. Maintenance man pounded several times on my door saying I did it and would be charged. His proof was just hear-say. Went to office, office Manager said someone had seen me do it. Of course I had not. I then went and had the persons who dumped the furniture go to the office to resolve the issue. I called the corporate office and got no phone call back. Office Manager lied to my co-leaser when she went ask questions about incident.The apology I received from office Manager was not for the harassment but for an inconvenience. The post I posted on there Facebook page was taken down. Poor business practices all around.

I moved out because I needed more square footage, but if not for that I would have definitely stayed at Seville. Office staff is very friendly and professional and the Apartments are considerably nicer and more kept up than other complexes in the area.

I am moving to San Antonio on March 10th. I haven't actually seen Seville in person just yet, but I wanted to write a review for Ransom, who has answered all my questions and has helped me set up everything for my move-in date. I first saw Seville on and send a quick message saying that I was interested in a 1 bed/1 bath. Ransom was prompt to reply to my inquiry and with his patience, I was able to get all the info I needed, apply and get the apartment unit I wanted for the move-in date I preferred. He replied in a timely manner to ALL my questions and made getting my new home a very stress-free experience. Thank you, Ransom!!! I can't wait to meet you in person! -Stephanie.

Recently moved in, i like the location. People in the office are awesome. Maintenance is is quick and professional. Didn't have to wait at all for my emergency fix. Apartments also seem to be taken care of very well

For the most part it's good. The property has changed hands a few times and I'll say I like this management company the least. They are real good about wanting their money but when you need something done they get to it when they get to it. They changed how rent is pd. You can't use checks or money orders. I was not notified of this and was then charged fees. I've been charged fees for other things that were not my fault like the rent website was down so I couldn't pay rent and was charged a fee. Was told I should have used another method of payment.. the staff does a good job and it's obvious their hands are tied. I like my apartment and the community but the owners leave some to be desired.

Move in was quick and easy. Staff is very helpful. The newly installed windows help muffle most of the noise of any planes that you overhead. On our side there can be the occasional issue with parking but there are usually spots open just a little further away.

Beautiful and quite community. Layout is ideal, a little older but very charming makes me feel at home. I love living here so far! And maintenance concerns don't seem to be an issue with this community, had my first issue and it was seamlessly handled. The landscaping makes coming home a nice welcome as well.

I simply found these apartments due to a friend who had recently moved to them. My lease was ending soon and was looking for an apartment to move into anways. I loved the floor space and the price overall.

It's quite. I haven't had any issues within the first month of me living here. The only thing I find odd is that I still haven't received my mail key because I was told that I couldn't get it until I filled out the walk around agreement. Which is the one you fill out when you first move in if you see any damages write them down so that you're not responsible for it. Yes I could ask for another one but to keep me from getting my mail over this paper I found weird since I've never been told that before at any other community I've rented at. Other than that i have no problems as of yet. I just need to get my mail key.

I dont understand what's wrong with this place. I gave them 60 days notice and they said everything was ok, then denied that I gave them notice to the new apartments I applied to over semantics - apparently my new apartment needed to know if I gave 30 days notice but because I gave 60 they said no. They've literally left me with no home because of semantics. When I called I was told it was a misunderstanding. So now I will need to fill out another application and pay fees again to re-apply because I was denied based on The Seville saying I didn't give notice. I literally have no place to move to as we have hurricane Harvey coming through. I've endured so much living here and I wasn't even going to leave a review until this happened. The entire reason I'm moving is because of another "misunderstanding". I came in multiple times to be transferred to another apartment because my neighbors insistence on smoking on the shared stairway and lack of parking near where I lived. All I wanted was to be moved to somewhere I can have parking somewhere near my home and after talking to a leasing agent multiple times I gave up and asked what to do to break my lease and move. I then did as instructed but then I was told weeks later that I had not completed what they needed. There are new practices that the leasing agent was not aware of. But this is after being told over and over that I was lying about telling the agent that I was giving them my 60 days notice by the manager who I was not working with nor did I speak to any of the times I came in. Somehow she believed that despite me writing the letter notice the leasing agent I was working with didn't realize I was breaking my lease... Which was the topic of the entire conversation I had with him. I have never left a bad review for anything but I am compelled to give this a 1 star rating. What a terrible group of people. I don't understand why I'm having all the problems I've have had with them. It's a shame because I enjoyed the apartment for the most part - I had 1 emergency due to them not fixing my door and being locked in but everything else has been minor. And they typically respond about bugs and other issues but dealing with anything that has to do with the office has been a horrific experience time and time again. The very last thing they needed to do is be truthful and somehow they found a way to make my life harder again.

I have had a very positive experience living at this residence. The staff have always been attentive to resolving any maintenance/groundskeeping issues that have arisen. This has been important to me because the previous ownership was very lacking in the area. The complex is quiet and peaceful. I (and my guests that visit) feel safe and comfortable in and around the property.

I recommend visiting apartments and really doing your research before moving in. I have used other aids instead of apartment finder, and have found them to be only as helpful as the individual that is using them.

I am very pleased that I chose this property to make my home, in spite of the inconveniences of having repairs not being handled properly. I feel tjis is due to the manager of this property and NOT my leasing agent, Jason Van Straten. My review reflects my diappointment with OTHER property staff. Jason has been trustworthy, helpful, and even went to another property to get the parts needed to make my repairs above and beyond in his customer service.

I Have been apartment hunting for almost 2 weeks now and its been a nightmare. Well today my friend and I decided we were going to look up and down Blanco as thats the area I wanted to live in. Our very first stop today was at Seville, my first impression walking in the door I was greeted right away by Jason. He really has a shining personality and I could sit there all day with him. On our tour Jason showed me the swimming pool and talked about local things to do in the area. He made me feel so comfortable that I decided I no longer needed to look for a new home ( finally my search is over) I would recommend anyone to go see Jason he will make you laugh so hard you will be leaving with a stomach ace.

The space in our apartment is what we love the most. The updated windows and doors also make it a nice place to live. I would recommend this community to anyone. The office staff are pretty cool. Jason helped us move in and helped us out a ton--- as well as gave us advice on eating in the area as well as shopping. We needed that due to it being our first time in Texas

It has been much, much improved now that BH Management has taken over. The complex was in need of someone taking care of it's customers and buildings. Now I would recommend these apartments. I planned to move now I am considering of staying longer.
