Not a safe place
My apartment got broken into in the middle of the day and nobody saw anything when during the day you can se maintenance crew around all day. Also if you like noise this is the place for you because it's like living in the airport. There are airplanes coming in all day long.. Cell phone reception sucks because of that. And on top of that all the appliances are for the last century. They'll change it until they can't fix the old ones anymore. I'm sure there are better places, way better apartments for this price.

Great Place Gone Bad
My husband and I moved into the Seville Apartments in October of 2007 and it was awesome. They had just upgraded the apartments with all new faux wood flooring, appliances, modern colored paint, nice light fixture's and counter top's. The maintenance man was very friendly and would always fix everything correctly, but unfortunately he moved to a different community in June. The rent was great for the size of the apartment, but we had recieved a move-in special. For the 1st 6 or 7 months the community seemed very safe and we had few problem's, BUT THEN around April we started hearing gun shot's at night, car's started getting broken into, and an entire unit had burnt to the ground at 5a.m. on Mother's Day. The fire was an accident apparently, but you would think after that had happened the management would at least make sure we all had fire extinguisher's. Then we had a few occasion's when people tried to enter our front door in the middle of the night, but luckily we were home and the door was locked. We heard a couple of the other resident's were not as fortunate and had their door kicked in when they were gone and burglarized. To sum it up, this community would not be too bad if there were more security and if the economy was not so bad. The leasing agent's had always been nice to us and they're kind of cute.

I HATE THE SEVILLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i really hate living here,i can hear blanco road and i have about 12 neighbors...too expensive for that.the management is a joke, there are possums the dish washers suck and so does the garbage disposal. the master bedroom is always hot, theres no ceiling fans, one of the buildings caught on fire twice and they demolished it in the same day the parking sucks horribly depending on where you live in the complex, they charge you for the weirdest things, depending on where you live you have to walk like 20 miles to the nearest dumpster MY ELECTRICITY BILL IS SO HIGH.

Not my first choice
I was a resident of building 2 that had a fire in May 2008. We were displaced and the reason for the fire was not determined because they tore it down the same afternoon ( I found that suspicious). My family lost everything. I asked if they were going to waive the next months rent because of the loss, they said no because we were given furniture. The furniture, mind you, was donated by other residents and Red Cross. Not the management ( I did not find that out until after ) The parking is horrible. And thet do not keep the place lit at night to be safe. If I get home late and have to park far away, then I am in trouble. They have one laundry center that has 4 washers ( one is always out of order . The noise from the airplanes is unbearable. And I am not happy that we were away for a whole month and still had to pay a water bill.

airplanes and more!
I signed my lease in August. The staff was really nice and said, "If you ever have any problems just let us know. We are very understanding and we can make things work. We want to make your new home the best we can!" We asked about airport traffic, they said it wasn't a problem, the noise was minimal. I wake up every night to the 4:15a.m. FedEx flight that goes right over my apartment. Come to find out that the airport final approach flight plan is right over my apartment. The airport is 3 miles away. Its loud. When brought up to the office, all they say is, "We told you that planes go over here!" Only one of the office personel actually live on property, if that says anything. And going back to the, "we can make things work". My job takes me around the world all the time, i just need a bed to pass out on for a couple of days and then im gone for a few weeks. My roommate's mother passed away and had to go out of town for two weeks. I called and explained that I was on an east coast tour for a week and a half and he was dealing with his mothers death 2000 miles away and that the rent would be a little late, but it would all be there. Boy did their attitude change! They went from friendly to treating myself and my roommate like criminals. All in all, we got a good deal, but in retrospect, there are a thousand better places. thank god i moved out of there. its been six months and ive never looked back.

So far...So Good
I moved here 3 months ago and since the first day I have been received good service from the staff people and Maint. I like the place and my neighbors.. and so far I have not problems!!! Nice area and besides the airplanes the complex is pretty quiet.

Big space
What made me want to move here is that I had a friend that already lived here, and I thought her apartment felt very comfortable. I had never had trouble parking and always felt safe there. When it was time for me to move this was one of the first places I looked at. My favorite feature about the place is all of the storage. Newer apartments may look nicer, but they seem to assume that you have no belongings. You do hear the planes, and certain weather seems to make them fly over the apartments more frequently, but after a few weeks you don't notice them anymore. Another nice feature was that all of the apartments are getting a complete overhaul before you move in. We have a brand new oven, fridge, microwave, lighting, fans, carpet, paint, bathroom fixtures, and hardware. We had a few things for them to fix when we moved in (the patio doors wouldn't lock) and they were attended to within hours. I am very happy here and fully plan to resign my lease.

awsome apartment
We have only lived here 4 about 5 months, but it has been a great experience so far. They recently started remodling the interior of the apartments with new modern apliances, light fixtures, faux wood floors, and paint. We have had few problems with the a/c, water heater, and heater, but all we had to do was call the office and they sent maintinence in a decent amount of time and replaced them. The main maintinence man is a very kind, trust worthy person too. Every one that works in the office that I have met has been really helpful and polite. Although I wouldn't recomend this complex to someone who enjoys their peace and quiet b/c of the air planes and there are quite a few party animals around here.

Don't Live At The Seville!
It was (repeat "was") a pretty good place to live but it went downhill from there. This place is in desparate need of new management!!! Do not trust Management...make copies of everything including your 30 day notice! I've there for over 7 years and got totally screwed at the end! Read the leasing agreement very carefully! Don't be late with rent or it is $50 plue $10 every day. Plus, you are living under one of the flight patterns for San Antonio airport so be prepared for noise since the aircraft fly pretty low. Parking has gotten pretty bad. Get home before 11:00 PM if you want to park near your apartment. They are trying to replace old applicance but they are taking their sweet time. You have to walk a pretty go distance if you are not living close to the dumpster. One laundry facility is open on site with only 4 washers/dryers. Watch your clothes because they will disappear. Maintenance is NOT 24 hours!!! Apartments are way overpriced...you can find better. Trust me.

Worst Privacy Issue
This is Andrea Pearson-Haas from #402 and will be speaking with Roger Flores as soon as I get back to San Antonio, Texas They perm/ shut down the laundry room (it said indeffinatly) and moved in a washer and dryer I did not ask for, told me congratulations like I won a prize and then lectured me on gambling when I do not own a poker table....???????? Where they directing people as their spin the wheel deal? I think so..... Management deliberatly rotated their expertise, as in would not let their own tenant use the phone, (Pricillia Ortiz), came into my apartment at weird circumstances without fixing anything, then finally left a note after a month that their was a leak outside the balcony and it was finally fixed after I had decided to exit the property because someone (police said it might just be kids) had drawn a gun at the bottom of our staircase in building 4. Told me which guests, were and were not allowed on property but gave no specific reasoning. When i called the bexar county police department from their line, no one responded at first, finally an african-american friend of mine Kimberly, who is involved in the army called police they responded. It is uncertain yet whether they applied my balances to my account, or allowed other people to tamper with the funds of who helped payed for the apartment, and my electric bill came out to over $700 in less that 3 weeks when I was rarely at home. I had so many problems there since day one I wonder if I should file for discrimination based on the staff's attitude and general demeanor towards me. Even the attendant and other residents across the blanco interchange said that these apartments are known for this type of behavior and treat their tenants like ----. Aren't they suppose to be concerned about how we as a community feel? Isn't there any privacy act that prevents them from entering your apartment while you are entertaining guests?

While you're busy moving make sure and clean the toilet.
The interiors of the apartments are all right despite the 80's interiors and old appliances. What is severly lacking at The Seville is security, my car was broken into twice while I lived there and nothing was ever done about it. The laundry room was always trashy and roaches were rampant outside the apartments.

The coup de grace was when I moved out and they sent me a bill that included a $50 cleaning fee. When I inquired as to what the fee was for they told me it was for a dirty microwave, toilet, and oven. I'm no maid but $50 to clean a toilet and microwave is ludicrous and it won't be paid.

The parking was ample but not secure which is why it's getting a one.

Hearing planes go over all the time sucked pretty bad.

Apartments from hell
The office staff are nothing but morons especially Jennifer. Lost rent checks and paperwork that were always found after I had to pay late fees then had to wait for refund-very convenient how move in inspection checklist was misplaced and never found. They are arragont and judgemental and give preferential treatment to different tenants. I felt like I was living in a dorm-always being watched by manager!? Maintanence was absolutely horrible-due to office miscommunication. Parking was lousy. Noise is ridiculous. Loft was so old, I had to pay for drawers and A/C unit that were falling apart not to mention a lovely variety of things that were pulled right out of their butt 3 months after I had moved out. $75 for forgetting a brand new sponge in the kitchen sink?! Move anywhere else!

Nice apartment and staff, but the neighbors are ------.
We moved into the Seville almost a year ago and since then we have had nothing but problems. Our car was broken into and the damage amounted to $1700 and several times I have walked out and caught someone in the process. Recently I caught someone in the act again and called the cops after the individual came back two days in a row and did not get the hint that I was watching him. Turns out that he had previously been arrested for auto theft and the vehicle that he was in was stolen and the plates from that vehicle were from another stolen vehicle. That person then had his friends come by two days later to sit outside of our apartment and watch us. Again, I stood and watched to make sure that nothing happened and they finally left (fake hard a$$es). There have been other vehicles that have been broken into as well. When we first moved in we never had any problems except for watching our cars, but recently the complex has allowed almost anyone to move in therefore we have had the police here at least 3 times every two weeks. About 3 days ago someone died because of alcohol poisoning (which isn't the complexes fault, but gives you an idea of how the people residing here are) and not to long before we had a girl that looked about 12 come running to our door asking us to call the cops because her step father was beating her mother. Bottom line is the apartment itself is nice and priced well for the area and the age of the complex as well as the staff has been friendly to us anytime we have needed anything, but the people that live here are ------ and have no respect for your property. Again, I can't complain about the apartment/staff, but I can say if you want a safe apartment for your family and if your not the type of person that can stay up all hours of the night to watch your property/vehicles, this is not the place for you.

So nice, I left for work in other city and came back!!!
I had lived at The Seville about 4 years ago and loved it there, especially the managment (Jennifer is the best the Property Manager). I had to move for work, but moved back to San Antonio 2 years ago and came back to THe Seville and guess what, Jennifer was still the Property Manager. That says a lot about STABILITY in the office. True, Seville is on the flight path, but GET OVER IT. The rent is reasonable and a bargain compared to the identical apartment layout across the street owned by other leasing co. I have never had any problems with crime and maintnance does take time if the repair is not an emergency, but always gets done. If anything, I would say rent is TOO reasonable and can attract some riff raff, but community has a great mixture of singles, couples, and professionals.

Watch your cars!!
I used to live here and I would probley never live here again. It was one of my first apartments. My car got brooken into twice, my neighbor once, my friends car got broken into as well. I told the office many times and they laughed at me. They weren't very commpassionate. I also got sent to collections for cahrges that to me were a little far fetched. I have settled all my finacal problems out with the collectin company but they never even sent me a letter telling me what I owe. I think this apatment ended up costing me to much money. I understand that you pay for what you get. My a/c did break and I had to stay in a guest suit which they did accomidate since it takes them a while to fix things like that. I also had a huge problem with noise. They had people fixing the roof at 8:00am. I worked night so I was so tired. I always rember alot of noise waking me up.So thats what I am trying to say you pay for what you get!!!

First Apartment!!!!
My boyfriend, my roomate and myself have been living here since August of last year and this has also been our first apartment. The Seville office staff as well as maintenance staff have been great. The property is very quiet and well maintained. The airplanes are bothersome at times but we have gotten used to them. Plus, what do you expect when moving near the airport? I am also in the leasing business and must say that the property were I work is gated and we have far more problems and car break ins then there are at the Seville, which is not gated. So for other reader's keep in mind that gated communities are a false sense of security. If someone wants in they'll get in, gate or not. But overall I am very pleased with the The Seville.

terrible!
i have only lived here for 5 months and i can not stand it. the noise is non stop. besides the constant airplanes the leave blowers are right out side my door at all hours of the day. i cant even have a decent phone conversation in this apartment. Also, i have decorative lights on my patio (they are purple), they are not very bright at all and i hardly ever turn them on. well the apartments kept sending me a letter telling me they "enjoy my christmas spirit" but i need to take my lights down. that is just a few of the reasons why this apartment is a very unpleasant place to be living.

I love it
I have been living here for about 7 months now and have not had any problems. We got in on a special for only 485 a month and the apartment is twice as big as others. I would recommend this to anyone!! Only thing is if you live in the frotn like me there are hardly any parking after 8:00pm. Some people have mentioned the airport noise but I've gotten used to it and its not that bad!

Great Place/Price
My wife and I moved here last year. This place has been everything we'd hoped for. I was hoping there'd be a gated entrance, but even without it, the place seems quiet and nice. The other people that live here seem really nice too.

The best thing, however, is the EXCELLENT management team. I don't remember what manager's group or whatever they're with, but the staff is simply amazing. They do everything they can to accomodate their residents and are always extremely helpful and concerned about our issues. I would rate these people and the overall quality of living here 9/10.

overal okay
I've lived at seville for over 9 months and I just read these reviews. I have to say the one thing that bothers me as well is the notices they leave on the door. Even if you make a mistake on your water bill payment you get these notices which may probably alert other neighbors you haven't paid your rent, or you may just owe them a measly amount less than a dollar but you get the notice.. The rent if not paid on the first no matter what day it falls on you get a 50.00 a day late fee and 10.00 per day until it's paid which is the first time I've heard of this in a lease. So you get that friendly note on your door until you pay up.
The applicances are about 20 yrs old and need to just be replaced.
Getting used to living under the runway takes a while but is bearable.
Maintenance is slow.
they have nice green grassy areas up around the office and plant regularly where they walk the people but in the back areas all the grass is dying and brown and security lights are burned out in those same areas as well leaving dark walk ways.

Right On The Flight Plan
The actual apartments are great. They are big, well kept, very nice! The management is great, too! They were very nice and worked with me on everything I needed.

The really big problem is the apartment I had was literally right under the San Antonio Airport runway flight plan. I worked at night and "tried" to sleep during the day. It was impossible. Planes flew over my head constantly. It was better at night but still bad.

It's really a shame because the apartments are too nice to be on the runway's line up like that! You really have to be careful anywhere in that area when looking for a place to check where the planes are flying!!!!

I wouldn't do it
to say the least maintenance is a joke. things never get fixed and backed up plumbing is not considered an emergency and if it happens on the weekend, your stuck until monday.
The mgmt is not very friendly and the apartments are so old they are falling apart. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

pretty nice
my buddy lives there and i'm thinking of moving in. he's been there for a year or so, and he loves it. the space you get is gargantuan, for the price. he's got a nice, wet bar area and a ginormous living/dining area. the only thing i'm not so keen on is the fact that the appliances are older than my dirty brown shoe. the microwave has a dial and no buttons -- so i'm a little weary about how i'm gonna defrost things. other than that -- i think i'm gonna move in. i'm a single guy, and i love the fact that i can pay less than $600 for such a huge one bedroom with full-size w/d connections. even if i wasn't robert goulet, i would still love to live in such a place.
