It takes a great deal to push me to the point of posting negative comments, but I feel compelled to warn all others by sharing my experience. I had a quick relocation back to San Antonio and was under pressure to get my kids in to school at the same time. At first I felt lucky to get an apartment with no deposit and the first month free. Soon after moving in, I learned why they offer that. My ceiling had evidence of a roof leak which they did repair in time. But then there was always dog feces in the common area as well as the strong smell of urine. I reported this to the management but they said they could do nothing unless I saw it first hand and followed the owner back to the apartment so they knew who to approach. The parking is very Tight in some areas and difficult to get in or out. The second pool is not that nice as the advertise on http://Apartments.com. Trying to exit one of their driveways can be a real hazard considering oncoming cars are rounding a blind curve heading towards you at 50 mph. When it came time to renew... I DID NOT. I could not justify the price for the place. When I exited the apartment, I was not offered by the staff to walk thru together. I took photos of the condition I left the apartment in as a precaution. I am a Real Estate professional so I knew to do so. Sure Enough, 3 weeks later I got a bill for $1200 saying they had to replace the carpet and do HEAVY cleaning. Both were false and I sent a Certified letter and copies of the photos I took of how clean it was (See Photo Section). Did they respond?? NO.. they turned the bill over to a collection agency. I am still having to fight this 2 years later. SO please be advised of this property. The individuals that remain here most likely do so because they have no other alternative. I love all the trees! They are so beautiful, especially during the spring. The complex is well maintained for the most part. They have recently been doing construction which usually is a good thing. They have been replacing old wood for new wood structures from what I have noticed. It stays pretty quiet and I am never disturbed in my apartment. The office staff are wonderful people. The maintenance is quite fast. I really do like it here.

Do NOT live in these apartments. The staff is extremely rude and are clueless. There is a huge cock roach problem coming from all the shrub and trees in the area and they do not send out exterminators. It has been nearly two years since I moved out and they are saying I owe them over $400 because I left a chair in the apartment. Come on people 1 chair. When asked why I was not contacted by phone for this issue they told me " they do not do that". Makes no sense whatsoever. The apartments were overall pretty spacious but had lots of maitnance issues. Do waste your breathe as they will try and scam you in the end.

I have been living here for about six months and I really like it. The only complaint I have are all the airplanes flying over, but you get used to it. The staff was really nice to me when I leased and they made sure everything went smooth while moving in. My apartment was practically perfect when I moved in. The only thing that was wrong was the hot and cold knob on my tub was backwards, but nothing to cry about! I definitely picked a good choice. If they had a patrol officer, it would be ten times better. Overall though, I really like it here.

I was so happy with this complex! The staff is nice, the maintenance is fast and the property is always kept clean. I was so sad when I had to move for work because I did not want to leave this community! The manager was the nicest lady and was always smiling. The other two gals were just as sweet and were always on top of their game. The maintenance guys were always prompt when I called something in. I loved that the complex was so close to the park. My dog really appreciated the walks. Overall, I was very very pleased with this property. I would recommend this property to everyone!

MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Save your self, money and time...I BEG DO NOT RENT THERE. Lived there for 2 years and after turning in my 30 day notice, management became a nightmare! They did not want to do a final walk through and spoke very rude to the tenants. Apartment units are very old and they refuse to update. Units have mold, flies, roaches and cabinets fall apart on a daily basis. We love to entertain our extended family but could not do to the horrible living conditions. Veronica is the property manager and she should be REPLACED A.S.A.P.(Extremely rude human being) I would not recommend this complex nor property management to my WORST enemies! PLEASE DO NOT LOWER YOUR STANDARDS AND MOVE HERE! IT IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS! DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THE SEVILLE NOR THE HAYMEN COMPANY THAT OWNS THEM!

not what we expected...
At first it seemed alright, but the day after we signed the lease we started seeing problems. Broken cabinets, broken dishwasher, cockroaches, unsecured closet doors falling onto our bed in the middle of the night (true story), holes in the cabinets... We put up with it, but we were NOT pleased when all the flaws became visible. Maintenance had to come several times to address these issues and we still ended up fixing everything ourselves. Our walkway has had mud on it since the day we moved in so we're constantly battling mud on the carpets, especially having pets. It's really just a bunch of little things that made it a poor living environment.

poor management
They do not communicate in the office. Very rude. I asked twice to have something fixed in my apt and it was never done. There was trash outside my building for weeks. The same trash. The staff is also late in mornings and never there by 9. The maintence people fix things when they are told but usually nothing gets passed to them. The people in office never tell them when there is a problem. you dont want to live here.

currently live here,talking w/TX Atty General's office against Hayman Company's actions, rethink your move here, also not safe, they had lost over 16 apts to fire due to negligence in 2008, look it up, wish I had,
Please bear in mind this is a business in the business of making money so they will do what it takes to meet that end....including lying, hiding the facts and doing what it takes to keep getting your money until it is not lucrative any longer for them to do so. They are a very Macovelian company. The management is full of smiles and nonsense to get you in, they will not fulfll their promises until you contact their corporate offices and are forced to do so. They will then send their regional manager to act righteous in your face as if you did something wrong and make it appear as if they are doing what you want them to, however, they will not admit that what it is they are doing is their job they squelched on to begin with. Oh, and if you dont like hanging out or being in close quarters with druggies and their gang member friends, do not come here. The apartments also have no problems putting children and pregnant women in the same units neighboring the known gang members (I have officer friends who looked a few things up for,me) and then for sure when you let them know your children are not safe and being exposed and put in danger because of the illegal activities of you neighbors, you will get this...."your safety is not our responsibility!" WHAT??????? and let us not forget the cars being broken into and the fact that my children cannot leave our apt without being fearful the ganbangers will be outside or I cannot come home from work without coming home to my wild eyed hyped up coked up neighbor hanging off her balcony spewing crap about me to my downstairs neighbor and then turning the conversation to spanish as I walk thru them. Hostile environment yes, does the apartment complex offer any type of resolution whatsoever or is willing to work with me in any way shape or form for my kids and my safety, no. Oh, did I mention, I also suffer from mobility problems that they fail to acknowledge so if you are handicapped, you better contact the ADA first because you have a bit of a pain on your hands here. Justice will prevail no doubt, God will see to that or I will, one of the two, but I wanted to put this out there because I see nothing on this Hayman Companys end as far as resolving this problem and that is just not acceptable when a person has small children first and foremost. Unaccepatble. So please, if you have small children, please consider all I have said, this may not be the best apt choice for you with current owners for they do not provide for the safety or well being of this community at all. They dont tell you about the renters insurance to cover them or the extra trash fee and the water fee and other items you will just get a bill for, not even a date but a bill. Keep it in case you are talking to the Atty General yourself, it will come in handy, I assure you. Their lack of record keeping and the fact that the one that lives on property uses the office after hours and takes her huge dog in there (yes, her dog into the office) when she chooses shows this is not a professionally ran company. One more item, if you have a serous problem with roaches as I do, they offer pest control no doubt, weekly if you want, but be aware, they will still comes, the cabinets are stained dark chocolate brown in all the cabinets for a reason, cannot even use any of mine, use outside shelves until I move out. Just really think before you come here. NOt a good choice.

Miserable & Melting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I moved in 2 months ago and have complained numerous times about the AC not working correctly. The temperature in my apartment is between 80-83 degrees even at night. Maintenance has come out 3 times and supposedly fixed the problem. The problem has still not been fixed. I had to spend a $100 on fans and we are still melting in the apartment. There is no insulation in this building and management won't budge to fix it. I was told to put blankets or dark sheets on my windows to keep the heat out. Blankets to cover windows???? What kind of crap is that!!!!! I even tried it to save some money on my $230.00 electricity bill. YES $230 dollar electricity bill. I have lived in numerous apartments even during the summer and have never had anything remotely close to a $230 dollar electricity bill. Management has supposed to have come and walked my apartment 3 weeks ago and still a no show... The scenery is lovely but not for the OUTRAGEOUS expense. Called and complained about a leak in the ceiling last week and maintenance still has not come out to fix the problem. This place really sucks...

I'VE BEEN LIVING AT THE SEVILLE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW AND IT USED TO BE REAL NICE. BUT IN THE LAST YEAR THERE HAS BEEN A NOTICIBLE THUG ELEMENT MOVE IN. I ESPECIALLY LOVE COMING HOME FROM A LONG DAYS WORK AND BEING GREETED FROM SEVERAL SHIRTLESS THUGS CHILLIN ON THEIR STOOP GIVING ME THE "EVIL EYE". IT ALMOST LIKE THEY ARE SAYING "WELCOME HOME....B*TCH!" AS FOR THE 3 LADIES RUNNING THE OFFICE, BE WARNED. THEY MIGHT AS WELL BE BANK TELLERS BECAUSE ALL THEY DO IS COLLECT YOUR MONEY AND FINE YOU $50 THE MINUTE YOUR LATE ONE DAY WITH RENT. OH AND I LOVE HOW I GOT A PARKING TICKET(FOR AN EXPIRED INSPECTION STICKER)THE SAME WEEK I RENEWED MY LEASE. THATS JUST THE WAY THE SEVILLE MANAGEMENT SAY "THANK YOU" FOR STAYING WITH US. AND I ALMOST FORGOT THE SEWAGE BACK UP THAT SMELLS UP THE GROUNDS ABOUT TWICE DAILY. THATS ALWAYS A HIT WHEN YOU'RE TRYING TO HAVE A BAR-B-QUE. ANYWAY, WHEN I MOVED IN I HAD HIGH HOPES FOR THE SEVILLE, BUT I'M PRETTY SURE I WON'T BE RENEWING MY NEXT LEASE. I WILL NEVER RENT ANOTHER APARTMENT NAMED AFTER A CADILLAC AGAIN.

The apartment staff basically laughed in my face as they told me that the renters insurance you are required to have to live here doesn't cover theft. It only covers damage to the apartment.

Veronica is a horrible manager!
I'd never ever recommend someone living here. The people in the office are awful. Veronica is the most ignorant rude person I have ever met. If there's an emergency or problem, your screwed! Everyone complains how she's so mean and uptight. I think if they got a better staff, this place would be 100% different. Veronica has no people skills and can care leas about her job. Amanda in there is slow and forgets everything. I dont know how they have jobs. The complex would be alot better if they left. Goodluck. Watch out for Veronica. Shes not a nice person at all.

ABASOLUTELY NOT!
The maintenance staff is totally ignorant of how to fix problems! I had to fight them for over a month to get hot water! Dont waste your time telling Veronica (the office manager) about a problem. She forgets it as soon as she hangs up the phone. There was a child predator living there and she didnt even know about it. When I advised her, she denied it. Priscilla is the unhappiest person in the world. Very rude and disrepctful! A lot of drug dealing going on and break-ins in broad daylight. Apartments have absolutely NO insulation. Froze to death in the winter. NOT a good or safe place to live! Some renters paid a lot less than senior citizens. What a ripoff!

I love my place!
I just moved in and my mom currently lives here now and has been here for 7 years and we never had any issues with maintenance or the office staff. I use to live at the apartments next door and have always wanted to live her cause even though the floor plans are the same, the seville has their units will kept and new stuff in the apartments. I live in the town home and i love it, its like having my own house. My apartment was beautiful and even though my mom has lived her for 7 years her apartment still looks in great condition and everytime she renews the office always does something nice for her and her apartment. I am a very happy pleased residents and so are allot of neighbors and my moms neighbors!

I recently moved out of these apartments and thought they served there purpose. I did have a huge problem once I moved out. The staff was extremely rude. It seemed once I had made my decision to move out they wanted nothing to do with me. Also, make sure you turn in your apartment key on the last day of the month. If you don t you will be charged the full going rate for each day it is not turned into the office. Which would have been nice to know when I turned in my 30 notice to the office.

Save on angst - don't move here!
We love our apartment, but the management stinks. We are constantly having problems from anything from security issues to getting things fixed in our apartment. There is virtually no communication about anything to tennants by the management staff. When we do bring up issues we are more likely to get attitude by the office staff, than actual help. If you think that you will be treated like a customer here when you rent, you are in for a big surprise.

Poor management
The management here is ineffective at best. If you bring up any issues you don't have the confidence of the issues being addressed. The management either doesn't get back to you, or they give you attitude for even bringing up issues.

Do not feel safe
We do not feel safe at our apartment. There have been a lot of break ins to both apartments and cars, recently. We don't feel as if the management has done enough to show preventative measures for our safety.

I Love It!
I moved in here almost six months and I love it here! The floor plan is awesome and there is plenty of room! The maintenance guys always take care of any problems quickly. Everytime I go into the office the girls are SO sweet! The neighbors are pretty cool too! I definitely plan on singing another lease when my current one is over! :)

Honest reveiw
When me and my family moved in here we were psyched. The layout was great with lots of space..HOWEVER there is no storage for anything. The maintenance guy is a jerk and it takes them up to 4 days to fix anything. To top it off there are bugs crawling all over the fire place and now they have to have a bug guy every week. This was a nice place when we moved in but it seems to just be falling apart. The ladies in the office are super friendly but it just seems like one thing after the other is breaking. Would not recommend this place

EVERYTHING can be heard though the walls. I lived upstairs and i could constantly hear the arguments of Priscilla(one of the apartment management staff) and her boyfriend. He would hit her, she would scream, punch the walls and have my entire upstairs shaking! This happened every night! Also the quality of residents have drastically decreased. I was a college student afraid to park at night in fear of the peering, perverted men smoking cigarettes and drink beer on their patios. The management lost my payment(when i paid online) and charged me an abundant amount of late fees. Although the payment history showed payment online they still were incompetent! Not to mention the flight path of constant airplanes flying over the complex shaking the complex.
