Not a great place to live. There's loud neighbors, apartments with all kinds of junk on the balconies, stray cats, dog poop everywhere. If you read all the bad reviews about this place, the tenants are not lying. It's not well kept and many are being ripped off. Avoid the hassles. Keep looking!

This is the worst place ever to live!!!! Roach infested is an under statement!!! I lived there for the duration of the lease & never unpacked my belongings and any food I brought in I had to put in a container... It was a horrible way to live!!! The staff was RUDE - maintenance was useless... Anyone reading this thinking of moving there...DO NOT DO IT!! They seriously need to shut that place down!

Do not rent here... Management sucks!!...Went thru Apartment Locators and they spoke highly of Limestone Oaks... So decided to give it a shot..I regret moving here...since the day that I moved here which was 9/10/15...I have found things that needed to be taken care off... And these are just minor things...and it is 9/25/15 and nothing has been fixed....it took them 8days to get me a stove... I got It becuz I went and bitched and told them I was going to turn them in to the Renters Association....

Infested with small disease carrying roaches since we moved here in April. Contracted by apartment complex, Worldwide Pest Control exterminated with my family inside the apartment after we were told we must leave the apartment for at least three hours. He did not verify that people were home, let himself in, and he treated the apartment anyway. Not sure how effective treatment was because he was in and out of my apartment within two minutes, not to mention the roaches are still infesting my apartment. Endangered my family and didn't treat it properly. Extensive problems with all sorts of things, too many to go into much detail. Each issue has taken many phone calls to resolve, some of which still haven't been resolved. Stay far away from this place-apartments & town homes alike. Your money will be better spent elsewhere, no matter where you might choose to live. Absolutely nothing is worth THIS. Most of the girls in the office are nice, & I do not envy the disasters they must face each & every day at their job. Maintenance friendly & helpful, but they can only do so much with this horrible place.

I went to this complex over the weekend to take a look and I was impressed by what I saw in the office and the girl was super helpful. I thought they had great choices in layouts and I almost leased on the spot. I am so glad I did not! The layout the girl showed me was for their other complex called Limestone Oaks Townhomes. It raised a red flag with me that the brochure had a different address than the address I was at. The girl stated that Limestone Oaks Apartments is connected with Limestone Oaks Townhomes by a trail. When I left the property I decided to go to the address on the brochure and I was shocked. These apartments had the tiniest parking lot and looked so much worse than the complex I had just visited. I got an uncomfortable vibe as I was stared down by a couple of residents for simply driving on the property. The gate did not seem to be working when I went there. Just be careful where you rent when looking into this property and make sure you see what you are getting.

Worst apartment I've ever lived in! I am here now and I have a serious infestation of roaches and mice. I would rate this place a ZERO if I could. My bedroom door has a latch and hook, cheap --- place that does not believe in repairs and doesn't care about fixing anything. I am fixing to break my lease I'm sooo fed up!

PLEASE PLEASE listen to the reviews to these apartments. DO NOT move in. You seriously get what you pay for! The office staff is awful. They may seem "nice" when you go in and seem interested to move in, but trust me, once your stuck at this awful place, they are horrible. It starts off with the property management. They could care less and trust me when I say this because I stayed here at Limestone and my mother stayed at their sister property Fountain Head apartments. Staff is not professional, not friendly nor compassionate when it comes to "customer first". Also the pictures may look nice on the website but they show you the one place in the complex that is semi-decent, it's not even that nice in person. Management must have paid a highly professional photographer to take pictures at the best angles. The apartments also are old, don't let the black appliances fool you. Maintenance does a horrible job on the painting, and keeping up with the place overall. My last apartment was a two bedroom/two bath and the guest bathroom door would get stuck every time someone would close it because of the ------ paint job they do. Let's not forget they take forever to respond to fixing something. Oh and when you move out, they will charge you an arm and a leg for every single thing in that apartment. That is another story that can go on and on. SO once again, please listen to these bad reviews; they don't even deserve 1 star. Yes the price MAY seem decent but you do not want to get involved with this place. You will surely regret it.

Currently living here at the town homes. The only good thing I can say about them is the dog park. Now if only owners would pick up after their pets. This is a horrible health hazard that should be reported, but apparently nothing is being done about it. Maintenance does take awhile to come around. Our security light went out and it took weeks for them to finally come, only to find out that they fixed the wrong one. When we moved in we had no water upstairs and that took a long time cause it wasn't an emergency. At times gun shots are heard in the area. And the people around here are just noisy-yelling late at night. Our neighbor is a pain. The walls are really thin so you can hear everything. The apartments could have been really nice the "idea" was there, but I think it's just the area they are located in and that they are pretty old already. I don't feel safe at times. Wouldn't let my kid wander outside alone. Counting down till we move out.

Theses are the rest apartments ever. Air conditioning doesn't work my roof is leaking over wires. But the offices say these are not emergency. I don't recommend living here at. The ppl in the office are a bunch of dummies....

The worst apartment complex in San Antonio. Everything would've been forgiven if it weren't for the staff. Please do not rent at this apartment. The staff at this apartment is so unprofessional that at some point you would like to forgive their gross incompetence for a simple courtesy. They lie and lie and lie. Total dimwits, and always forget the fact that they work there requires them to be nice to people.

STAY OUT OF HERE. literally do not come here, this place is horrible. I first moved here in 2011. Apartments seem great. Maintenance took more than 2 weeks, they replaced air filters once or twice a year. Then we moved to another place and decided to come back after a year. That was hell's door. Apartment had a dead bat inside when we moved in. Stove was dirty as well as anything else. Cabinets falling apart, a big hole in the wall where the connection for the dryer was. Call for maintenance just to screw the cabinets bottoms again and to tell us they needed parts for other stuff that needed fixing. 1 year later, they never fix it. Ceiling is leaking since 5 months now, they have not fix it. Roaches everywhere, people not respecting the one way entry/exit. Poop everywhere u walk because of people not picking after pets plus the the stray cats everywhere. Pools with little maintenance plus all gates to access them are chained except for only one. Laundry is a joke, dirty place always. Maintenance guys playing around with golf carts... Etcetera. YOU ARE WARBED

Limestone oaks is NOT somewhere I would recommend for ANYONE! The office staff is rude. When we moved in it took over 3 months for them to "fix" things that needed fixing and at that they did not complete all repairs! There is mold all around my windows and in my master bath which they say they fixed already. I have a drawer in my kitchen that doesn't close because it doesn't belong so the drawer is smaller than the hinges. They painted over EVERYTHING including inside the bathtub so the paint will get in your hair. Our bathtub fixtures have fallen off twice! The neighbors are loud as can be and outside past 4 am. We've had our air conditioner "serviced" about 4 times because they say it is normal for it to be set on 69 and remain 80 degrees all day long. I've asked them to look into it since I have a baby with health issues and all they did was change the filter every time! The price is decent and the location is great if you're in medical center a lot but it's not worth the hassle. Plus the rent is going up by 30 dollars and you definitely don't get what you pay for. Especially when you have to pay extra on electricity for a broken air conditioner.

This place is a joke. No matter how cheap the rent is do not move here!! I lived on the apartment side last year and the grounds were riddled with dog poop because no one ever picks up after their dogs. There are tons of stray cats and the gates rarely work. Parking sucks because every weekend people are having parties and inviting people over. I moved to the town home side after my lease was up because it was cheaper to get a larger town home then staying in my 750sq ft apartment. They were raising my rent from 665 to 720. The townhome we moved into was so ------! it took them 3 weeks after our aledged move in date because maintance had to clea and fix it. When we moved in I should have moved right back out. the carpets were stained, the walls were re painted and there were raoches that were painted over! There was no insilation on the doors or balcony doors so be prepared for your air conditioner to break in the summer. There were cracks on the doors and on floor boards. Not to mention we had a roach infestation for 7 MONTHS! management sucks and so does the maintance! Everyone in the office is new about every month, they keep firing people. Average wait time to get a light fixed or dishwasher fixed is 3 months, When our AC broke we had to wait 2 days before they caMe out to fix it so it was 90 degrees in the house. There are so many stray cats here as well that you see poop every 3 inches of walking anywere and the place stinks because of all the feces. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND SAVE THE STRESS!! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

This is the worst complex I have lived in. When I moved in the rent was reasonable and it was close to UTSA for my kids. So glad that I moved out but recently received a statement for bogus charges stating that it needed to be paid or would go to collections - a real slap in the face after always paying rent on time??!! Do yourself a favor and DON'T move here!

First of all, let me start out by saying that I've stayed so long because of the location and I'm a UTSA student who doesn't want to pay the same amount to live in an apartment with three other people. When you pay for rent you're made to wait forever while there are people in the office not doing anything at all, or so it seems. When you call the front office you get nothing but attitude from the ladies there. You get treated like crap if you want anything to be done and they demand information from you which is their job. Example: my power/water/air condition/etc is out, can someone fix it? their response would be is it out for the whole building? Sorry, didn't know that was my job and not yours. The carpet is so crappily installed that the nails are sticking up from the edges everywhere you walk. There is no padding under the carpet at all, or it's so thin you don't notice it, so you're basically walking on pavement covered by carpet. My garbage disposal hasn't worked in forever, my weather stripping on the bottom of my door is bad, I asked for a screen and was told they were on back order and it would be a few weeks, that was about a year ago when someone tried to break into my apartment. Outdoor lights are constantly out, or going out, which just perpetuates the robbing going on. There are entire stretches of sidewalk outside that are just pitch black, even though lights are mounted there, so it's not even safe to go out at night. They say there's a courtesy officer but when you call for help, it's never offered. The pools always look like ---- and they are not suitable for swimming. There is constantly no water, or no hot water, or no cold water, without any notice at all. The apartment keeps increasing rent by $50 every year so the apartment I rented due to price at under $500 with no washer or dryer is now over $600 and this year would go to about $700 if I renewed, I've finally had enough. People park like ----, key your car, take up more than one space, or don't even fit in the space at all so they have to park sideways across spaces and the apartment complex doesn't do ---- about it. Stay away, don't rent here unless you're absolutely desperate... and even then, try to find something else no matter what.

These are by far thee absolute WORST apartments I have ever lived in! I'd turn in the rent a couples days early, and get a note on my door saying I didn't pay the months rent all the damn time! Until I finally had to go down there and light into them! We I first moved in the bath tub was just painted over like several times and it was peeling everywhere crappy jobs! my cabinets weren't put in straight, my garbage disposal didn't work at all and they didn't come to fix it for 4 months!!!!!!!! I sent them numerous work orders about everything that was wrong including the damn ac nor heater worked just blew out hot air and made loud popping noises. The dish washer would stop working every month. worst of all the fridge would turn off every other day causing all my groceries to go bad all the time!!!! THIS PLACE IS A SERIOUS WASTE OF MONEY!!!! My neighbors are so loud and bang on the walls, everyone complains and yet nothing gets done. There's always open beer bottles and trash all over the grounds of the apartments, not to mention all the stupid idiots that live here and like to break the concrete blocks and leave sharp broken rocks everywhere! the parking here is terrible! They come to fix my ac finally and they said it was flooded with water yet I hadn't even been able to get it to even turn on for months! The place smelled terrible when I moved in and there was weird stains all over the carpet, and when I told them about it they said the place was tip top before I got in there! Those damn liars! Then every package I ever had sent here I never received how odd! STEALERS! The staff here is truly horrible the maintenance doesn't do ---- but ride around in the golf carts being pervs, and the people in the office are rude! Extremely rude they lie about everything so I advise you if you move in keep a copy of everything!!!! Because they will swear they don't have your work orders or signed forms when you know for damn sure you gave it to them!!! Just don''t live here do yourself the favor and save the trouble! You'll regret It I promise!

My husband and I lived here for about a year. It's not the worst apartment around but not the best either. First the apartment: When they put the carpet down they did something weird so in the spots where the carpet meets linoleum you can feel nails poking up. Yes the nails. Then whatever they put on the counters is terrible. Whatever you put on the counters and left there it stuck. Papers, ceramics, wood(wooden cross) it would stick and leave an imprint behind. We never used the counter to place our drinks there. Nothing was spilled there yet everything would stick including change. The vent in the bathroom never worked. No air came out at all not even a little bit. Before we moved in and were walking around the apartment I noticed a small dead roach in the bathroom. I thought okay one roach. Nope over the coarse of our stay there they steadily increased no matter how much raid we used. (Unfortunately sad to say we know what the issue was..our neighbor was a hoarder...if you move to limestone oaks you'll see her car and know immediately that it's hers(we found out towards the end)) When walking around the apartment you can feel the boards they placed on top of the flooring as it moves up and down and makes noise. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations outside and below you. Maintenance took longer to fix things the closer it was to us moving out. Took months to get them to look at the dishwasher and garbage disposal. Smelled awful and disposal even filled up with nasty looking water that smelled and looked gray Outside the apartment: Dog poop everywhere despite the dog park smelled terribly in the heat Parking is bad sometimes had to walk a good distance. Flooding occurred in the statement building across from ours on the first floor during a heavy rain The parking lot gets pretty flooded too during a rain depending on where you live People always trying to go in through the exit gate Stray cats everywhere All in all I suppose it wasn't too bad for what it was

This place is disgusting. They did not clean the apartment before they prepped it for the next renter. They LITERALLY just painted over eveything. There was a COCKROACH painted over on one of my air vents. It's so horrible. Huge piss stains from previous renters with pets, carpets don't reach all the walls, anything maintenance takes forever, the grounds just look grimy. The room they show everyone is NOTHING like the actual apartments. BUT, I never had a problem with any staff. They were always friendly and did their job to the best of their skillset. Also, they have alot of hot ladies that work there, but that is about all they have going for this apartment complex. I woul reccomend you stay away from this place.

This place is horrible!!!! First off let me say the staff is RUDE. Ashley has zero interest when it comes to your concerns and never puts on a smile. I remember someone got evicted from their apartment, all their stuff was outside and Amy (the manager) and Ashley were the first ones outside digging through that persons stuff taking it! Pathetic!! Talk about unprofessional! When I first moved in, my move in date was September 13...I go in to get my keys after I paid all my dues only for Ashley to give me my keys BUT she warns me I can't take a shower/bath because they resurfaced my bathtub and it's not quite ready! Really? So I go check out the apartment and I was furious. Door knobs had paint all over them, my tub looked like it had zero work on it, I had an oil based paint stain on my carpet and when I let them know about it, they couldn't do anything because it was oil! Oh but when I moved out, they charged me for a red stain on my carpet! They shouldn't have charged me anything since I had to live with their dam oil stain! Also when you move out and they check to see what they charge you for, they claim they send you a notification letter with any charges but they DONT! Seriously the staff doesn't care about any of your concerns! This was my first apartment ever and let me just say it was a really sad horrible experience! I wrote several letters to property management, they could care less. When I would go in to let the staff know about something, Terri Cochran who is another manager would just go to her office and close the door because she wouldn't want to hear it! This place is a piece of ----.

WOWWWWW- once you renew your lease your rent will go up $50 or more! they don't offer carpet cleaning or blind replacements like other apartments do. this place is horrible. my rent increased 50 dollars and then the following year more than that! :'( once I am out of here I will post pictures and really describe my experience- because they do RETALIATE here and it's scary but it is also against the law.

I've been living here since Sept. of 2012. My lease recently ended, and to avoid the $75 rent increase, I transferred to a smaller apartment. I was paying 620 for 705 sq ft, now I only pay 525 for 600 (includes pet rent). Speaking of, don't know what all of our pet rent is paying for? Certainly isn't for dog poop bags. There's no water for the dogs at the park either, that would be nice... At both apartments, my dish washer hasn't worked. Last one was a bad motor that never got replaced, this one here leaks. Used to live above drug dealers, then 9 months later they finally left. Neighbors are all nice, friendly. The dog park community has to be my favorite. Probably we're the only group that gets together and talks. Paint was peeling due to some water leaks, bath tub hadn't been resurfaced. Managed to get a brand new dish sink. It's like pulling teeth to get them to let you see your apartment Before you sign. When I got the keys for my new apt, they Again gave me the wrong set. But, that didn't stop me from climbing up the balcony and opening the patio door. And I told the office that too. ;) Currently my hot water for my bath only works when coming out of the main faucet, once you flip it to shower, it's luke warm.. at Best. All in all, for what I pay, the area, the apartment is do able. Maintenance.... Well, that one you have to be more persistent with. Always get your stubs signed.

Where do I begin? I guess DO NOT GO INTO THE FIERY GATES OF HELL.. would be sufficent..They will offer you an amazing move in offer to get you to sign in blood..Ok so we put up with it for 3 years (which is completely our fault) due to moving from out of state and pregnancy/ having a newborn we just couldn't handle moving. But that being said instead of service/ living conditions improving they plummeted those three years, yet our rent went UP. The water is ALWAYS off unexpectedly and heaven forbid you ask when it will be on brace for a snippy comeback. You rarely receive notice prior. Then the grounds are always torn up and in unsafe conditions due to them searching for the millions of water leaks. The apartment you view before signing will NOT be what the one you receive will look like. When we moved in our oven was sitting in our living room but when we called the office we got "well just move it to the kitchen, BUT do not rip the tile"..???? I was 8 months pregnant seriously???? Then worst of all the staff is horrendous. They are all very rude yet will put on a sweet face when need be. They have horrible organizational skills. Get this we even once received an eviction notice for not paying rent when we had even paid early for that month, then magically after we presented the signed stub it was found (after they made us search for it). I had a neighbor even turn in a 60 day move out notice and unfortunately she did not get a signed copy and they told her right after she turned in and paid application fees at another apartment that they had no record of her turning in a notice, of course resulting in them having to stay another year. PLEASE do not put yourself through this HELL. I can t say how thankful I am to be free of these horrible people. And if you do dare PLEASE document every little detail, get copies of and signatures on EVERYTHING. Take pictures at move-in / move-out, and be thorough on the move in checklist. This place will try to take you for every penny you have!!!!!
