What a nightmare!! After putting up with his place for ten months I moved out as soon as my lease was up. The day I moved out and turned in my keys, my manager says that I never turned in a 60 notice. Seeing as I never received a copy of 60 day notice, I could not "prove" that I turned it in. I had to go through the supervisor Lisa of the apartments as well as the property manager Amy and they gave me the run-around for 5 weeks and didn't solve anything. Lisa and Amy both put words in my mouth and used false statements agains me. They told me everything was take care of even when I double-checked during my last month there. Lisa couldn't handle talking over the phone or handling this case in a timely manner so when I requested that she give me her supervisors contact information and she completely refused. Basically, these people are just trying to screw me over out of alot of money. This place is a joke.

The Manager and her Assistant really need to step down and let someone with class and skills run the apartments. They get into other residents business, and by the time you know it all around you knows. They need to focuss on getting qualified people in, instead of talking bad about there own residents.

Dear Manager, from the looks of it you dont know what you are doing. Please step down or please some one replace everyone in office. Maybe if you get off you lazy --- and do something you might bring in more people.

Apartments are pretty ------. Moved in at the end of August and we have continual leaks in the bathroom and toilet. Our fridge doesnt get cold enough and our food spoils. Rent is really pricey for what you actually get. Im in a tiny 1x1 and pay 685 with the pet rent included. The grounds have dog poop everywhere and you can smell dog pee almost everywhere u walk. The dog park is a good place for pets but has no lighting so you have to make sure ur pet goes before sun down.

sorry for the long review but that just tells you how bad this place is. In six months: On the very first day! Move in day, apartment not ready. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought it was the person who was supposed to paint the counters who stood them up (like they told me). Second day: guy painting the counters stained my carpet and walls. Office people said they would clean it and that it would be fine. They cleaned the carpet (you could still see a stain if there is enough light in the room but management said it was ok, they wouldn t charge me for it, I hope so). Months to follow: roaches everywhere (not that many but I was finding at least one at least once a week). My apartment is clean and I constantly spray raid to keep the roaches away. Office people said it is normal because of the weather, which is a lie. Water is constantly shut off due to problems with the pipes. A pipe in my unit busted and my whole apartment got flooded while I was at work. Later I found out from my neighbor that he had been calling the office when he saw water coming from the wall that divided his and my apartment and they said they would send someone. He said he called at least 4 times before someone went to see the problem. I had to find somewhere else to sleep while they fixed it, they took 7 days. The maintenance manager was the only helpful person. I would call the office every day to check on the progress and they would say let me check, I ll call you back in 10 minutes guess what? The longest 10 minutes of my life! They NEVER called. When I finally was able to speak to the manager she wasn t able to help me with anything. They were not able to give me a place to stay for that week and could not give me any answers unless I was late to work or got out of work early enough to talk to management. Usually in apartment complexes whenever something changes they send a notice to each unit announcing the change. They don t always send a notice when they shut the water off and did not send a notice saying they would be close on the 3rd (rent is due on the 3rd) due to a holiday. Many of u went to the office on the 3rd to pay rent and found a note on the door saying rent was due on the 2nd for that month due to the holiday. Who goes to the office if it s not to pay rent???? Of course they are charging a late fee of $50 to the people who tried paying on the 3rd and couldn t because the office was closed and there is no after hours box. I conclusion, the complex is old and management is really really bad! I am not sure of what the manager does because she is not helpful at all and she is the one who sets the example for her employees and of course they are even worse than her. I really feel sorry for them for having to do that kind of work. While some of us are trying to do social work and help others, they are taking advantage of others. FYI: it is very dark at night, parking spaces are limited, and pools are very small and there is usually only one open at a time. Horrible management. I'm out of here as soon as my lease is up.

I currently reside at these apts and wish my lease was already over! Maintenance and front office staff are lazy and never get anything done..you literally have to call and complain about the same issue for a straight week or two for them to actually look into it. Matter of fact I will be calling tomorrow AGAIN to ask why they have not addressed our problem in our apt..I am so annoyed/frustrated/angry/etc by their lack of service that I will be filing a complaint with the BBB..and that's if their even associated with them. One of the front office girls..possibly the manager resides here as well and i'm sure she doesn't have this problem! The parking is horrible..apts may look nice when you first drive up but take a drive around and you will be driving out without looking back. The apts are roach infested and even though extermination is included in your rent..you still have to call and request it every Wednesday..if they even show up. I can't go one day without killing a roach in my apt..it's disgusting! You can't even walk outside at night without a huge roach or toad crossing your path! You may wonder why we chose these apts..but it was a last minute issue and we settled..you Do Not Want To Live Here!

Their AC units pretty much rap up what I think about them. Plus you can count on them to break at least 3 times each summer.

Fantastic apartments!
Maybe it was bad years ago, but I have had nothign but great experiences here. Ive lived here for 10 months and its been great. The office is very friendly, the maintenance team is very prompt in delivering service (my a/c was making a loud sound and they came right away to fix it), the parking is outstanding (never a problem finding a space), and overall the complex is very safe. Not to mention, my dog can't get enough of the park :-) I recommend this place to anyone!

Great Service !!!
My boyfriend and I moved in to Limestone Oaks in January 2012. I was VERY surprised!!! I remember when it was Woodtrails and I WOULD HAVE NEVER moved in when it was. NOW.....This is the BEST Apartment Community. The grounds are SO CLEAN and ALWAYS picked up. The office staff will go out of their WAY to help you and make you feel welcome. Limestone Oaks is on the BUSY street of Wurzbach, BUT...It is so QUIET and the our neighbors are wonderful. If you want to live in a nice apartment home with wonderful people as your neighbors , THIS is the place to be. I was in Property Management for 13 years and REALLY..... We LOVE loving here. I now work at University Hospital and I am so close to work. I WILL SAY THIS......The ONLY people that will have ANYTHING BAD to say about Limestone Oaks are the ones that pay their rent late...IF AT ALL.. and are NON-COMPLIANT with ANY RULES that are enforced. I KNOW this because.....BEEN THERE....DONE THAT !!

bad reviews are all lies
I moved into limestone oaks this past week with the fear from all the bad reviews that were on here, and i must say they are all lies and written by people that had a bad experience and decided to let it out on here, but i love my apartment, the area is a good location, the people are friendly and keep to themselves, the parking is never a problem there, its really quiet no one bothers you, they have 3 pools and the staff at the office always greets you with a smile, and ask how your doing. Its only been a week here but i love it my apartment has new floors and counter tops, its a good size for what i pay for and I can tell im gonna love it here a year from now. so if your thinking about moving here dont let these lame reviews get you down, the limestone oaks is a great apartment complex !

the best review.
Let me just start this review off with I don't work here. I live here and I've lived in apartments before ane good good good ones and bad. I've also been scared of what to expect when moving in to one. Let me just say Limestone Oaks treats you with respect and the best customer service I've seen in a long time. They have a great team working here. The maintenance team is always doing a great job on keeping the property looking it's best and alway making sure things are running smoothly in the apt. If I've ever had a question or a concern about anything. I can be sure there team will answer or resolve my concern as fast as possible. With great customer service. I love living here, and would recommend limestone oaks apt to anyone who wants a safe, caring, friendly place to call home. Thank you all for being a great place for my family to call home.

Limetone Oaks (Too cheap to fix the fallen 'S')
Ive lived here for about 4 months now, and the only thing good about this place is the pet park and dirt cheap living. The day i moved in "maintenance" was just beginning to paint over the stains on the walls, carpet was dirty, sinks had just had some sort of paint sprayed on them, the cabinets had dead roaches in them, the "new appliances" had mold in the corners, the apartment wreaked of fumes, black cabinet top was lifted a good half inch from water log, the sink in the bathroom was slanted to one side because the cabinets are rotten, there was mold in the water reservoir tank and the list can go on and on....For space's sake ill end there. Some of the neighbors are nice and friendly but there are a lot of shady people here. They say they have 24 hour security----yeah that's a lie. The gates never close and rarely work. There is dog ---- everywhere outside, and the trash can to throw the ---- away is filled to the top so ---- bags are falling out...Wonderful. I have stepped on dog ---- at least three times on the way to work. The pools smell like bleach...The chlorine content is so high, it feels like I'm swimming in clorox. The maintenance took forever to fix the A/C, our water constantly goes out, no hot water, my girlfriend and I always get an extreme mixture of hot and cold when showering. The water rarely stays warm. DO NOT LET THE DISPLAY FOOL YOU!! the apartments look nothing like them! Like I said, some people are really nice here and friendly but from what i can tell, all of them have had the same problem we have had. If your on a tight budget, by all means move in to save some cash but if you can afford it, LEAVE!! This place is a --------, literally, with all the cat and dog ---- scattered everywhere....

So far so good!
After being in the same place for 20 years, I moved into Limestone Oaks. I was told that my apartment would be in no less condition than the display apt. That was true. When I signed to move in, I was told, "Welcome home." Such has proven to be the case. While here less than one year, I have been pleased in all the ways that matter most. The office staff are friendly and helpful. If I have a concern, it gets addressed. Rather than being treated as if I am a complainer, I am viewed as a valued tenant who cares for the apartment. I have had maintenance issues to contend with. That is to be expected. Most concerns were corrected the first time. Some needed follow up. Still, when all is said and done, I am able to keep the apartment well cared for. Since I do not have pets, I am displease with the way many tenants neglect to clean up after their pets. A nice breeze accompanied with the aroma pet feces is never pleasant. Stray cats seem to be a bigger issue than dogs. As for neighbors, they are either very friendly or keep to themselves. You are as much a part of the Limestone Oaks community as you want to be. When shopping for an apartment, location is everything (then the price). In terms of Limestone Oaks, some locations are better, more scenic than others, so shop wisely. For the price, location, professional on-site service, and standard of living, I highly recommend Limestone Oaks.

Management Fails Property
The problems at Limestone start with management which ultimately effects the front line staff, office agents and maintenance. Because the complext is severely understaffed, maintenance issues stockpile and, at times, chaos rules. In all fairness to maintenance, I do see them hustle around the complex, not idling, however, there are too many assigned duties for the amount of employees, so, either the emergency situations suffer or grounds maintenance and pool maintenance suffers. For this, I blame management. More seriously, though, is managements inability to control their own internal processes. I have two examples which are both demonstrative of gross incompetency. First, I paid rent, in full, along with my utilities, 5 days before the first of the month. I paid with a cashier's check, guaranteed funds. On the 7th of the month, I received a notice that I was $450 short, that I was being charged late fees and threatened lock out. When I entered the office with a carbon copy of my dated cashier's check, Alexandria told me, matter of factly, that I had failed to pay in full. She consulted her records, made me sit in the office for 20 minutes while she conducted her internal audit, pronounced me right, gave me my check but failed to give me the pay or quit notice until I asked for it back. Two weeks later, on the 21st, I again received a pay or quit notice again threatening lock out and late fees. This I ignored, figuring maybe Alexandria made yet another mistake, however, on May 26th I received a third erroneous pay or quit notice. I have retained an attorney. A second example, I left the state of TX for two months and paid my rent by mail. After having been gone for a month, I received a notice on my door telling me to remove my animal or move out because I had been observed not cleaning up after my dog. When I called the office, I was told that a staff member had directly observed me breaking the animal rule. When I asked what day, I was told they couldn't tell me what day. When I told them I had been out of the state for over a month I was told they would call me back, which they did not. I then called Terri directly, was told she would absolutely call me back, which, 30 days later, she still has not. The ironic part, we have a strict rule about entering in the exit side of the gate, however, I have witnessed the assistant manager, Alexandria, driving through the exit gate twice! Management should be setting the example, however, the rules do not apply to them. When I later saw signs posted threatening fines, I was livid, I had seen the asst. manager do just that! This all comes after I was harrassed for three months over an error that they made in my lease. That error took months of wrangling and legal intervention and eventually was settled in my favor. It was a simple mistake and LSO should have take accountability. Until they finally admitted fault, I was threatened with eviction monthly for three months. I believe the above mentioned examples are in response to the lease issue we had. Two months after that issue settled, the above issues began. We are currently in litigation, again. In my opinion, management is the reason for the all the smaller issues that have waterfalled to the tenants. It is unfortunate for the staff and the tenants. I believe the staff do perform under the best conditions they are given.

Comfortable and Satisfied
After living in my apartment for almost two years now I have come to call this place home. When it comes to maintenance the crew is professional, dependable and timely. The office staff is wonderful, from the manager to the leasing girls. One that stands out is Mrs. Amy Moya. I followed her from another Alliance property due to her friendliness, honesty, warming smile and ability to make residents feel like family. My only negative gripe would be the laundry facilities. They are outdated and need a face lift. I am in a 1 bedroom that doesn't offer the washer and dryer connections and when moving didn't even think about getting the other 1 bedroom that had the connections. I don't want to give away my age, but I am an older tenant and for me, its nice to know that I can come home to such a warm atmosphere and quiet community (Other than the Ambulances that frequent Wurzbach Rd). When looking for an apartment Limestone Oaks is a great pic Delbert Sanchez US Navy Ret.

if u like hot water and no bugs dont move here
The hot water (only) is off again for the 4th time in the last 6 months. The answering service keeps giving lip service about what time it will actually be on. If you need to shower before going to work or school on a daily basis don't move here. The worst part about it is there is NO notice given as to when and for how long it will be shut off. It just gets shut off. You have cold water but no hot. The pest control does not come, even when your apartment is put on the "list". You can go into the office and tell them repeatedly (and nicely) about the problem but eventually you just get attitude because they are tired of seeing you in there. Living with cockroaches was not on my lease aggreement. So, you will have to keep most all of your food in the refrigerator and if it's in the pantry it will have to be kept in ziplock bags to keep out the bugs. You can be the cleanest person and keep the cleanest house but you will STILL have bugs here! Trust me. If you don't want your car door banged up by other cars then don't move here. My car doors are so banged up and there is even different colored paint on them from other cars. There is tons of parking so I am not sure why this should even been an issue. The dog park is really nice and spacious but there are SO many that use it and do NOT clean up after their pets. And it is infested with fleas. I am sure they told the pest control man, but it's probably on his "list" that he never completes as he is racing through the parking lot in his company vehicle. The painters do not remove or cover anything when they paint. You will have paint on your cabinets, drawers, and light fixtures. The counter tops are dark which is nice, but it's just painted on. There are only TWO vents in the entire apartment so the A/C and heater have to work really hard to accomodate this lack. There is no water heater in your apartment. Who knows where they are! If you are in the shower and a neighbor flushes the toilet, then your water temperature changes. The walls and floors are very thin. I know what my neighbor downstairs watches on TV because I can always hear it. They know where I am at in my apartment at all times because my floor creaks and squeaks everywhere. They gave me a really good deal when I moved in but I should've known it would be like this. I am definetly out of here when my lease is up. This is by far one of the worst apartment complexes I have ever lived in. Again, did i mention no HOT water????????????????

Incompetence abounds!
Don't let the leasing agents fool you, this place is awful. The maintenance crew takes at least a month to fix anything, and then its not actually fixed correctly. If you tell leasing office about your concerns they will act like the problem will be resolved or will just lie to appease you. I have lived in a bigger, nicer, and much safer place for $100 less rent before and seriously regret signing a lease here. We have now been without warm water for the last 62 hours and counting, my wife called to see how long it was expected to take and was hung up on.

Pray for your lease to end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The worst place I have ever lived by far in my entire life. I am active duty USAF and shortly after being stationed near by I found this apartment complex and was foolish enough to sign a lease with them. The staff acts like they care and are nice.......until they get you to sign the lease. The people that live in the complex are rude, VERY LOUD, and have no respect for other peoples property. Your car will need a new paint job after living here from all the door dings you will accumulate that is if you still have a car as mine was broken into 4 times while I lived here!!!!! Maintence never does anything and even if they do it takes them DAYS to get to you even for something as serious as your air conditioner not working!!! We even had a maintence worker use a key and enter our house while my wife was at home sleep, did not announce he was ther and my wife says he was banging around in the kitchen for half an hour doing god knows what!!! Told the office they denied anyone ever going to our apartment and said there staff would never do such a thing. Very scary!!!! Last but not least and possibly the worst is the roaches!!!! We and my wife keep a pretty clean house and there is still an infestation in our apartment!!! Again told the staff and they sprayed......ONCE!!!! Never saw the exterminator again....ever! Even though they say they spray once a month. I even went as far asgoing to my legal office on base to get out of my lease but it was going to be such a headache that we just had to wait for our lease to be over. I have requested that this complex be on the black list for military in hopes that none of my fellow service men and women will ever have to live here!!! Take my advice and run from this place run very far away!!!!

Bad reviews need to stop!
I have lived at these apartments for 6 months now, we like them. Yes, a woman was killed here, but it wasnt a random act of violence, her boyfriend killed her. Not that it makes it better, but only God knows when your time will be up. There is new staff in the office and they are really friendly and helpful, when you call the office they are attentive to your needs,we usually get maintenance out the next day if not the same day depending on the problem. I dont think that you will find a perfect, crime-free area anywhere in the world.

Rip off
Don't be fooled - the models look totally different from what you get!!! My remodeled apartment has had water leaking for over a month now, with roaches crawling and doors sticking d/t "new paint". I'm shocked mostly due to the fact that I would have never chosen to live in such conditions and now are bound to them until the end of my lease. You don't pay $50K for a 30-yr old car that breaks down every day - why should I pay top dollar for a beat up place that's unpleasant to be in?

Beware! nasty --- apts
These apartments are sorry as hell. Don't move here. I moved in on a $49 move in first month free, should of known here its was a piece of ---- I was getting the smaller one unit bedroom, but when me and my sister went to go view the apt The side walk look like suage water was going every where, kitty liter was every where smelled like cats. Which my newborn son couldnt be by. Then i asked to be put in the larger one bedroom unit, away from the one i just saw. They advised me they where still working on the shower but it would be fixed bythe day i moved in. It was not my neighbor actually told me a hour before I got there they just started working on it. Then i couldn't use the shower for a another 24 hours. There was bugs in the frig, silver ware still in the dish washer, paint on the counter tops, the floor felt like it was going to break. I had to complain to the front office SIX TIMES that there where bugs in the frig, because they where only bleaching it, when the problem was they where inside the air duct. Black stuff was falling into my newborn son crib frm the vent, wall was cracking, neighbors roof fell in cause it took them a month to come fix. Amy is the only nice person in the front. Terry the.office manager has a smart --- mouth. Alex or alexis what ever her name is, has a bad attitude and I was finna nock her --- out, she so unprofessional. They tired to lock me out because i said i wasnt paying rent. A constable didn't serve me nor did I get a eviction notice. They just said where not evicting you just locking me out till I pay rent??? Thats what alexis said And put it on my credit that I owe them money an I damaged the aptr. The sorry --- apt was already fukkd up to begin and I was there only a month. But that's okay cause I'm taking they dumb --- to court and when my lawyer called they had him on hold for 30mins... giving him the run around. Sorry --- apts. I have more to say but ill stop here tired of wasting my breathe just a dirty nasty complex to stay in the apt complex ashler oaks ACROSS THE STREET has bed bugs! So they make you sign a form saying its not there fault if you get them..
