Haven't felt anything good about the community so far. Our old and new neighbors seems to be the same issues. Load music and guests. The building common areas still smells like weed and sometimes my bathroom. This is ongoing and still not resolved.

The staff in the leasing office are all very friendly and readily available during normal hours. The maintenance staff is always working hard to keep the place looking good and presentable. Amenity spaces are nice

It's great here. Management is extremely professional, helpful and friendly. They have went out of their way to accommodate us when they were busy with potential residents. Chris is the greatest. Almost anything you would need is in walking distance. Highly recommend Symmetry Apartments

Love the amenities in our apartment and in the building. We moved in during a special rate deal and paid $2700 for 2 bed/ 2 bath. I appreciate in unit washer dryer, balcony space, and talking with other tenants. I did not like how ever since we moved in, our upstairs neighbor has literally been stomping the yard, screaming and crying at the top of her lungs, along with her baby crying. I reported it numerous times to the front office, security (after hours- which I found out they hardly document anything), and also called the police. Nothing happened. My upstairs neighbor is currently stomping while I write this review. What's frustrating is another neighbor told me they had similar concerns with their upstairs neighbor, and the office was able to do something about it. Unfortunately, I must have bad luck because they didn't do anything (even after they came in my apartment to hear the noises) and after I sent videos of the noise screaming/crying happening in the morning and close to midnight. Plus there's no one to call when our neighbors are screaming on the weekends, so we love that (clearly sarcasm. Lol) Considering we pay rent on time and have to deal with this noise issue, they jumped the rent from $2700 to $3300. Insane. So if they increase the rent again- we'll start looking elsewhere. Other 3 other tenants that I enjoy talking with also told me they most likely won't renew their leases due to the rent prices. Which I get. Also, guest parking sucks. They tow your car if you park outside past midnight. Another inconvenience.

With the price that you are paying for. You can definitely find better place than here. The neighbors are loud. The hallway always have dog poops and smells. The elevator is always broken. The callbox is always broken. When you get a parcel in the office, they don't call you or text you to let you know.

We love symmetry! The staff is very friendly and attentive to any needs we have. The neighbors are also very kind a generally thoughtful of one another. The only thing about this apartment is we have noticed a lot of cockroaches by the pool area but that seems to have been remedied by now and also a few in our apartment. They have Orkin come spray twice a month if needed in your apartment. With the prices you pay for luxury living , I just hope the building does everything in their power to limit any sort of bug issues.

A great community to be apart of. I've been here since 12/20 and all of the concerns I've had have been addressed to the best of their ability in a very expeditious manner. Personally I'm one that lost their job during COVID-19 and have been struggling to continue with rent payments, but they've been so gracious helpful and have worked with me. Leasing and maintenance folks are really great. :-)

Good neighborhood ,accessible to shopping,groceries and transportation Leasing office staff are helpful. Keeping the areas clean is a plus. Having Gym,pool and recreation area is also a plus. Recommend s a strict security.

Symmetry is a great property. I love my apartment, the staff are all very professional, very helpful, and very friendly. I couldn't ask for a better location. I work from home and it's pretty quiet all day (and night). Although I got into more online shopping during the last couple of years, Symmetry is conveniently located to most shopping and errands I need to run in person. I feel safe coming in to park if I'm out late, and that's very important to me. Some neighbors speak and some don't, but overall, it's been a very pleasant experience, I have no complaints, and I have no reason to think I'd have a better experience living anyplace else. I love it here at Symmetry!

Overall good. Neighbors are heavy smokers . I thought that we were coming to a non smoking environment. Not sure the management has No control over the smoking. Money more important than your health when living here.

Luxury Living with ROACHES!

Guys, this is NOT the place you want to lease. We were fooled by the nice building and amenities, but when we moved in we realized this place was INFESTED with roaches. This is huge for us, because my son is pre-asthmatic and these roaches cause a serious threat to his health . The roaches are present everywhere. They are outside the building, inside the building all around the halls, and inside my apartment and i'm sure many others. Our initial encounter with them was on July 19th, 2022 (4 days after our lease began). I contacted Brianna and requested them to come spray ASAP and requested non-toxic chemicals again because of my son's condition. Well that spraying caused my son to get a horrible cough, shortness of breath and itching all throughout his body. I quickly told my husband how unhappy I was and how this was not a place I wanted to bring my son in. Well fast forward to 2 months now (today) more and more are everywhere. Now this is a problem! This now becomes a place that is uninhabitable for my son. My son cannot and will not stay here. He runs the risk of getting worse and that is a risk I am not willing to take. The neighbors upstairs have also been inconsiderate the whole time here and have made it impossible to sleep. I have called their security patrol service numerous times and they have now advised me to contact upper management and the police. During the day I don't mind if they are up and running, but once it hit night time they become so annoying. They are up all night until 2am at times and of course my son gets woken up. He cries during the night because he gets startled when they bang and slam doors. His focus has become so bad with school and you can just tell his body is not happy. This all makes me so stressed and is playing a mayor role in my mental health, anxiety and depression. I cannot sleep at night and even when during the day all I am thinking about is these roaches and my son. I am literally pleading for help. I contacted the office, and they were supposed to schedule the property manager to come to my property today and they cancelled last minute. Which confirms that my son's health is not their priority. Abel has been helping me and he has been really helpful, but we still have yet to hear from the people that matter which is Shea Apartments. If this review can help another person who is struggling with asthma or has a son who is asthmatic please run! This is not the building you want to be in. I am so disappointed and so nervous that these pest will travel with me to my next move which now leaves me with a loss of tossing all my smaller appliances, this is not fair. I am so regretful of coming here.

Pros: Staffs are professional & quick to resolve problems. It's quiet (most of the time). Many walking distance restaurants & businesses like Porto's, Qwench Juice bar down stairs, Tulsi Indian restaurant, Super King market, a Korean dumpling restaurant, and a hot pot place across the street to name a few. I also appreciate the security & amenities offered. Cons: There are some people who do NOT pick up after their dogs! Even in the hallway on the carpet! Some leave trash and expecting others to pick up after them attracting cockroaches roaming in the hallway. One even ran into our apartment. It took us almost a month to catch it!

The community here is great. Symmetry is a great place to live the only complaint I have is the security guards here absolutely suck. Other than that the community is great. It would be nice to have the rent increase not be so much every year because it's causing people to move out due to high prices

Symmetry Apartments is the pinnacle residential community of Northridge. Modern living, beautiful apartments and grounds, and loaded with amenities. To boot, the area is incredible accessible with the Northridge Fashion Center, Porto's and Gold's Gym literally right next door. And Target is within walking distance.
