Get me OUT OF HERE!
I could not have said it better than some of these other reviews! --------- is completely two-faced and lies so much she can't keep them straight. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from vacuuming to dogs barking. I even hear my upstairs neighbor snoring every night. Dogs are everywhere. Jumping on your legs when you try to get the mail (where the owner or leash is I have no idea), barking at all hours of the night and day, and peeing/pooping in hallways, elevators, and inside the courtyard (I thought about telling --------- about this until I saw her dog doing it). At least I clean up after my dog! Rent is way too high for the below-average management. The washer/dryer are so small you can do like half a load at a time on the occasions they are not broken. There are virtually NO utilities paid besides trash/sewer (they say gas is paid but nothing besides hot water runs on gas, everything like heat and stove are electric). So $1250/mo $20 water $25 electric $75 cable and you don't get to play music without being yelled at by -------- herself, you don't get to bring glass in the pool area (despite the overflowing trash FILLED with them) without getting yelled at, and parking is an absolute nightmare-- my car gets new scratches in it every time i park in the garage. Overall, it is the worst decision you can make to move here unless you have tons of money and like noise. I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THESE REVIEWS SOONER!

Nobel Court is not a nice place to live
Nobel Court is not a nice place to live due to the manager ---------. She is a horrible person who will smile at you while you are signing the lease but then she actually will knock on your door telling you to be quiet. If you want to pay a lot of money to feel like youre still living with your parents then this place will do just fine.

Pricey and Noisy
I lived at Nobel Court for a year. The positives are this apartment is centrally located for those commuting to UCSD. The bus stops for route 30, 202, 150, 101 and UCSD shuttle are all within walking distance. The remodeled units I hear are pretty nice. They have installed locks on all main exit/entry doors and the garage is locked. All the people that I've met seem to be very friendly and there is a good mix of college students and working folk. If you have a pet, they are one of the few apartments that do allow them. But to me the negatives out way the positives. This is absolutely the worst leasing office/management that I have ever come across. 1) Pets are hardly on leash and the office does not enforce this rule. There is pet poo and pee all over the place (in stair case landings, hallways, volleyball courts, elevators). It is a nightmare and the management is very lax about it. 2) You may get a good deal for the first year but if you want to continue staying here forget about it. They will jack up your rent and will not budge. The raised rents are above other comparable apartments in the area and it is impossible to reason with the office about this. Talking with some of my neighbors who were leaving the apartment complex, I found that this happened to them so it was not a surprise that it happened to me. My impression of the management is that if they do not get what they want in terms of rent they would rather leave the apartment empty than negotiate with you. Which is kind of stupid! 3) This complex in very, very noisy. Dogs bark early in the morning. The wall are very thin. And the dump trucks always come early in the morning to take recycle/trash away. Forget sleeping in on Saturdays or Sundays. 4) The recycling is not locked so you have tons of people "dumpster diving" at all odd hours. 5) If you don't have one of the remodeled apartments. Your unit is going to be a piece of crap. It may look nice and pretty all painted up when you move in but... you will have to flush two to three time each time you use the bathroom, sink disposals don't work very well, the washer/dryers are small in size and crappy, appliances are so, so. That said those who live in some of the remodeled units say that it is pretty good. 6) Till they started to lock the front doors, there were panhandlers coming door to door selling things. In conclusion, my biggest peeve with this complex is that for the price you are paying, the apartment is just average and the management poor. I definitely don't think this is the worst apartment complex in the area (there are a lot of dumps in the area) but before you rent here you need to really ask yourself if you are willing to pay a premium for nothing great.

I have lived at this complex for several years. I've had issues with noise and unorganized office staff. My main complaint is with the RENT INCREASE EVERY SINGLE YEAR! For the price these places are not worth it. The apartments are old with a lousy facelift. They say the buildings are secured, but they are not. Anyone can walk into the building as they please. The grounds are well maintained and maintenance does their job in a timely manner, however the owners of this establishment are not interested in the well being of their tennents; the are simply intrsested in JACKING UP THE PRICE OF YOUR RENT EVERY YEAR. Having said that, I would not recommend these apartments unless you want to be forced to increase your by 100$ plus, every year or move out. Also Nobel court apartments bribed their tenants to write positive reviews on this site and if the did they would receive a gift card. SHADY AND UNETHICAL.

Not worth the price- plus mold!!!
I've lived here for 3 months now and am paying $1300/mo for 650 square feet. I have to say it seemed SO nice and appealing when my fiance and I can to see the model. The kitchen was beautiful, white cabinets, new appliances, the bathroom had great matching countertops to the kitchen, bedroom had a walk in closet... it was pristine. We were told we would not be able to see our unit until we got the keys, so I made sure to ask 4 or 5 times "Our unit will be EXACTLY like this, correct?" I was told over and over that yes, this is exactly what our apt would look like but a bit bigger for our floorplan. The day we got our keys and I walked in the door, I thought I was going to die. Countertops were a mess, cabinets were some old gross fake wood paper covering, appliances are older than I am (and I am 25), washer dryer was from the 80s, flooring was different, bathroom was gross, carpet had stains, no walk in closet, and everything was clearly shoddy work. They fixed the countertops (which is just like paint, and they made a mess and got it all over the walls but didn't bother to repaint the walls). We also weren't told until lease signing that we couldn't use our garbage disposal. I love to cook so the fact that NOTHING about the kitchen was as advertised is a major problem for me. Parking spots are too small for even my Jetta, I hear every step my upstairs neighbor takes, we share a wall with a stair well and I her every footstep taken up the stairs and anytime the door opens and slams closed, I know it. Plus the single pane windows that are as old as the complex mean I am fighting a non stop battle with black mold. Completely gross and will make you VERY sick! Basically these places are cool and have a TON of potential. Sadly, cheap, classless, and clueless management have ruined them. I can't wait to get out.

The WORST
Perhaps Nobel Court isn't the worst apartment complex of all time, but it sure is HORRIBLE for the amount of money you pay for rent! I paid almost $1400 in rent for a one bedroom and the place was an absolute dump! Let me list the reasons why: 1. The apartment units are extremely cramped and small, and the ceilings are some of the lowest I have seen. If you stay home often, you will start to feel like you are living in a prison. 2. The whole complex is just plain outdated and cheap. Everything is straight from the 80s. There are a few updates, but they are very cheaply done. The ceilings in the apartments are that cottage cheese material. The carpet falls apart when you try to vacuum it or clean it. When I moved in the dishwasher was broken, the dryer was broken, the unit was dirty, the window was very hard to close, and the doors were difficult to close and open due to the cheap and old doorknobs. One time the lights went out in the apartment complex because of a storm, and the emergency lights in the hallways never turned on. I had to use my tiny cell phone light to find my way to my apartment. 3. Security SUCKS. The security system that they give you a key for is completely fake. A few of the doors are locked, but there are several that never lock and it is very easy to get in if you are not a resident. Apparently, it is well known that there is no security system since I had to deal with intimidating male solicitors several times a week. Not fun to experience when you are a female at home alone. Luckily I never got my car broken into, but I talked to a few people who did get their car broken into in the supposedly "secure" garage. 4. There is no air conditioning, and circulation for the unit is horrible. For an apartment that costs nearly 1400 a month, there should be air conditioning. We moved in during San Diego's worst heat wave in years. Needless to say, it was absolute hell. We actually left the apartment and stayed in a hotel it was so bad. I thought it would get better once the heat wave was over, but I was wrong. Even when it was only in the 70s outside, the unit was stifling and hot even with the windows open and fans on. 5. NOISE, NOISE, NOISE! You will hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do. I knew what they watched on TV, I knew when they had sex, I knew when they cooked, I knew when they went to the bathroom and took a shower, I could hear their conversations, and I could even hear them sneeze and cough. I never got a good nights sleep hear, even when I wore earplugs and used a white noise machine. My unit was facing the street, and the street noise was absolutely unbearable because the windows are too thin. 6. Staff and management are somewhat deceiving. I suppose it is their job to sell the apartments, but they make them sound so much better than they really are. They told me it was a quiet community and that the place did not need air conditioning because of the "ocean breeze." 7. The parking garage is the worst! Half of the spaces can't even be used because the drains are broken and dripping. The lanes are super narrow which make it extremely hard to get into the tiny little space they give you. Seriously, this parking garage is only meant for mini coopers or smart cars. You should NOT move here. You will regret it every day you are here. I have moved across town into an apartment that is ten times as nice and in a nicer area, and the rent is only 100 dollars more a month. It is a world of difference. Living at Nobel Court is like PAYING to live in a prison!

What A NIGHTMARE. DO NOT MOVE HERE
I lived here for one year and what a mistake. The managers at the complex are all -------, they only care about you until you sign the lease. They were very inconsiderate and flat out rude especially ---------. You find shopping carts everywhere all the time, the facilities are from the 80's and so are the apartments themselves. They are old and rundown just facelifted for the new residents. I could hear the neighbors above me if they walked, talked or even coughed. The worst part of the complex is the parking. The spots are so close my car got scratched on more than one occasion and management did nothing. Honestly you have to see them to believe how ------ they are. The only nice thing about the complex was the nice ------- guy who fixed all the apartments. I hope you read this and look somewhere else before you move here. You will regret it big time.

Not as bad as you think. Good staff. Good management company.
I have been living at Nobel court now for about a year and a half. I am in the building that is on Lebon Drive and I love it. It is quiet and there are a lot of young professionals that are not partying all night long like the students at Costa Verde. For the amenities that Nobel Court has, and the prices, they are the best in the area. Washer and Dryer in unit, very clean pool area, upkept grounds, and clean fitness area. My favorite part about the management here is that when I have a maintenance request, it gets taken care of within a day or two. I have not had that good of luck anywhere else. Contact me if you would like to know more about the property because I really would recommend it.

I did not like Nobel Court
Small. Low ceilings. Insulation bad. It gets pretty cold. Structure is old, though, paint and exterior stuff looks new. Cheap carpet--it falls apart. Noise extremely bad on the street and in the garage. Management let someone's car alarm ring for weeks. Can hear neighbors above and below but not next to apartment. Management I did not care for. Did not get a lot of sunlight. Problems with bathroom fixtures. Did not get any of my deposit back. I did like the nearby shopping centers, though, they are a little pricey and the parking is always difficult. Parking and moving in and out was the worst. Compact parking and narrow passageways to back into and drive through. Guest parking sucks, so, had them park on the busy streets nearby.

Worst place ever! Don't move here!
I have only lived here for 6 months and have to end my lease early because this place is so awful. The management is HORRIBLE! The manager, ---------, is a complete and utter -----!!! She alone should be reason enough not to move here. Rent is was overpriced, everthing breaks, no circulation so units get extremely hot, no air conditoner. You cna hear EVERYTHING! neighbors coughing, peeing, fighting so everyone always complains even if your only watching tv. seriously stay far away!

Wow so bad!
Wow I came on here to inform people not to rent here. It is so bad and now I realize I should have done my research before moving in. First the management lies about everything. Before I moved in I asked about spiders and was told the girl has only seen one since she moved in and she had lived there for quite some time. Since the first day I moved in I have seen at least 2 spiders per day. They have someone that sprays and will spray your apartment but to really keep them out I feel you have to go through the process on a weekly basis in your apartment. Also very unsafe. My car was broken into while in the gated parking garage. When I asked the officer if this happens a lot he said unfortunately yes. He is always getting calls. Also it is very true about the noise and being able to hear everything the person above you is doing. I could when they were having sex and the guy above me when he peed. and of course it sounded like people were running all around their apartment. Very hard to sleep. Also management is extremely rude doesn't matter if you're moving out or living there. There was only one girl that was nice and she left everyone else no help what so ever. Do not live here. You won't get sleep, your car will get broken into and you will not feel at home with management.

DO NOT MOVE TO NOBEL COURT
Hello, I have lived in Nobel Court Apartments for about 7 months and would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. WHY WOULD I NOT RECOMMEND IT: 1. The leasing office is incredibly rude. The Office Manager is absolutely wretched and unkind. 2. The neighbors are not friendly. 3. The hallways are dark and dingey. 4. There is no sense of community. 5. The appliances are constantly breaking. 6. There is not enough sunlight in the apartment. Do not live here!!

Free at Last, Free at Last
I made a huge mistake. I didn't do my homework and ended up at Nobel Court. What a hellhole. The construction is paper thin, you can hear everything. When the upstairs neighbor walked, the light fixtures vibrated. You can hear the showers and the toilets all over the place. My real problem started when I came home and found a notice on my door saying that I had 3 days to get rid of my dog. They claimed that my dog barked all day and all night. I was home every night at 6, my dog never barked in my presence. My neighbors on both sides told me that they NEVER heard my dog bark. There was no notice, no warnings, just GET RID OF YOUR DOG IN THREE DAYS. I think the problem resulted from the carpet cleaners a couple of days before. They cleaned the carpet and locked the dog outside on the patio. She didn't like that and did bark. Well, this is a dog friendly complex, and that happens once in awhile. But basically, my dog doesn't bark. My upstairs neighbor is the one who complained. The neighbors who blast their tv and leave all their doors and windows open. The neighbors who have sex with all their doors and windows open. The first time I heard that, I was on the phone. The person I was talking to asked me what the hell was going on. It was so loud, I'm sure at least 30 apartments were serenaded with the sound of a shrieking woman. So I wrote to the management and said that if I had three days to get rid of my dog, that the neighbor upstairs must be give three days to get rid of his shrieking girlfriend. No response to that. Anyway, alls well that ends well, they asked me to leave and terminated my lease early. I would have fought it, and won, in court, but I wanted out. Then they had a pre termination inspection. It was arranged for a wednesday morning, I took my dog to work to get her out of the way. Well, they never showed up. I left some markers to tell me if they showed up or not, they did not. So a few days later, I wrote and asked what the pre termination inspection indicated. They gave me some standard bs trying to fool me into thinking they showed up. Typical management lies. The place is a mess. There were puddles in the garage because an overhead pipe was leaking. I told them about it and said if they weren't going to fix it, I wanted a new parking spot because my car was getting dirty. They gave me a new spot, they had no intention of fixing it. To be fair, the day before I left it was finally fixed. After 4 months!! The place is a hell hole. Nice location if you are attending UCSD. Near all the shopping but the management really sucks. Oh I forgot another interesting issue. I gave them a check for about 30 dollars to rent some storage space. They lost the check. I was very hesitant to give them another check but I don't trust them. I told them exactly when I gave them the check, who I gave it to, and where I gave it to them. After a series of emails, the wicked manager replied that "I don't have the check because you never gave us the check", in effect calling me a liar. Don't rent there, it sucks. The people in the management office seemed competent except for the Manager. She is evil and incompetent.

Staffs are nice, No problem about deposit, Construction is so-so
Pros: The location is great. There are four grocery stores, a drugstore and a movie theater in walking distance. The south I5 entrance is next to the corner. However, it was quiet, since the building is not directly face to the Nobel Dr. The built-in washer and dryer is nice, the power of the dryer is low though. The maintenance staff has always been very friendly to me and taken care of most of the issues I reported as quickly as they can. The office staff was generally friendly and polite. As long as you keep the room clean, don't worry about the deposit issue. Our deposit was returned over 500 bucks. I like the hallwalk, wide and well cleaned. Cons: The main reason we left is that the manager jump the rent 200 bucks. We lived with annual contract, but the manager showed us the unacceptable offer to us only two weeks before the end of the contract. It's not fair and this apartment does not have such balue. Our apartment did not get much light during any part of the day. The ceiling is lower then other apartment. My wife felt gloomy staying at home. They removed the fan in the bathroom last year (from all the room in the building) with some reason, and we had to bear no-fan bathroom for rest of our stay. They said they will fix it in future, but you might want to check the fan in bathroom before you settle in. The walls are little bit thin, we could tell what our upstairs neighbor doing up to all day. May be it is due to the very quiet environment though. The seculity system at the entrance is fake. Anybody can come in freely. The equipment in the apartment, like the sink, shower, were old and frequently in need of repair, maintanance people is doing good job though. Under ground parking is good thing, but spot is small and very difficult to get into it. Overall, I think it was a good place to live, as long as with adequate price. Right now, we think the moving was correct decision in our situation. We are much happier in our new place with same range of price.

Need sleep- please help
I've just moved into Nobel Court and now I'm having buyer's remorse. I was woken up last night to the sounds of my upstairs neighbors having sex. It was so loud that it actually at first sounded like they were in my room- not a good way to wake up- especially when you have an early morning the next day. This continued for a long-time and I could hear absolutely everything. At this point, I'm hoping to sublease. I also was lied to by management about the quiet location.. quiet by day, but every morning, extremely loud due to the neighboring complex's parking garage. Thin walls, overpriced, 30 year old construction. AHH! I feel like it should be Nobel Prison instead of Nobel Court. Any suggestions, please let me know. Miserable in Nobel. Also, micro parking spots. Even for an average sized car- all spots are too narrow.

Scratch that, it's pretty bad
Edit: I've since moved to a different apartment for school reasons and I'm only just beginning to realize how terrible Nobel was, much worse than I originally thought when I wrote my first review. I'm currently paying a comparable amount of rent for an apartment with a much nicer exterior, nicer amenities, and a polite, accommodating staff. There's nothing quite as horrible as people thinking that they can walk into your home while you're not there even if you repeatedly ask them to come over when you're home. One time someone knocked once, and before I could get to the door he walked in. Invasion much? It seems like they don't believe their residents have any privacy rights. (If you're reading, Nobel staff, I'd stop that before someone gets angry enough to take you to court.) Also, lol at the person below who used my review below as a template. Original review: Pros: If you're a college student like I was (and attending UCSD) the location is great. The shuttle stop is a minute's walk from the front door, which really cuts transportation costs. There are four grocery stores, a drugstore and a movie theater in walking distance, along with the mall being right down the street. In addition, the maintenance staff has always been very friendly to me and taken care of most of the issues I reported. The office staff was generally polite (though distant) and addressed our concerns, though I did have an unpleasant encounter with a very rude older white woman whose name I did not catch. Our entire deposit was taken, but I thought it was fair enough because of the amount of wear the carpet sustained while we were there. Cons: The walls are thin, so we could hear what our upstairs neighbor was up to all hours of the day. Our apartment did not get much light during any part of the day, so it was quite gloomy staying at home. The apartment itself was somewhat dingy, not something I'd be particularly proud of showing to guests. It seemed that there were constantly issues that required people coming in and out of our apartment without our asking, and when we went to the office to request that the people come by while we were home (for our sense of security) we were brushed off. The things in the apartment itself (like the washer, sink, or stove) were old and constantly in need of repair through no fault of ours. Our parking spot was in a horrible location and very difficult to get into, and the parking garage does not have any mirrors around the corners, which caused us to get into a few close scrapes. Overall, I think it was a decent place to live. If I'd known when I was moving in what I do now, however, I would have looked harder for a better place.

Bye bye deposit.
I lived here for 2 years, and then they switched to the Villa Vicenza condos. Villa Vicenza is now renting, so if it's the same people managing as Nobel Court - BEWARE. Like other reviewers have mentioned, you will never see your deposit again. Besides the usual carpet cleaning, etc, I got a $250 bill to "fix" my balcony. Turns out the previous owner had put in a floor on the balcony, and when I moved in, I didn't know what the normal balcony floor should look like. So they charged me $ for ripping it out when I moved out. I remember the management who walked me through when I first moved in said "oh, you have boards on your balcony, the previous owner must have improved it for you" -- so he had noticed it but failed to fix it or tell me that I needed to report it. There are not as many amenities here as Costa Village Apts (which I also lived in.) Oh PS if you must live here, don't get an apt facing Nobel Drive, it is LOUD.

FAKE, RUDE, MONEY-HUNGRY. don't move here!! i want out!!!!!!!
THIS PLACE IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. The manager --------- is A RUDE -----. When we first came in, she was SUPER SWEET. On move-in day she turned into a real -----, trying to stick us with TANDUM parking. The first week I lived here, my OVEN stopped working. The washer/dryer in unit is MINIATURE. the parking's a ----- and these people are RUDE RUDE RUDE. The biggest problem we have is the NOISE. these dogs YAP all damn night. People bump their music all day long. we got stuck with the ------ apartment that faces the parking lot and you can hear traffic from the street. and they claim this is a QUIET community. to make matters worse...WE got noise complaints our first two weeks living here. and we are two young girls who literally cant sleep at night because of the noise here. when i responded to one of her ------ emails, she stuck us with a THREE-DAY notice. don't be fooled, it's like the apartment complex from hell. it's like something out of a horror film. they fake nice to get you to move in and then they TURN ON YOU. like when i requested to have ind parking (not TANDUM) she said they didnt have any...but then she said how they did have some "but don't you dare complain to me that they're too small." and i had to thank her for ind parking. we came in to find our blinds we already all ----ed up. and we got stuck with the apt right next to the elevator so we hear people coming in and out all night. CHILDREN leave their ------- bikes and scooters out in the hallways. and the worse thing...------- SHOPPING CARTS LEFT IN THE DAMN HALLWAYS AND ELEVATORS. one time i found empty beer cans and cigarette cartons in the elevator. EWWW. management sucks ---. i wish i stayed in my old apartment. now im stuck here for another 11 months and i want to break my lease. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THESE FAKE, RUDE, -------. they are money hungry whores who will try to screw you over. oh and theyre really nice to OLDER PEOPLE. but if you're in your twenties you're ----ed because they try to intimidate you like children. they also like yelled at me once for not turning in rent, when i handed one of the leasing agents the check in person! these people are dumb and know nothing of customer service. DON'T DO IT...you will regret moving into this complex from hell.

Nice until you move out, or have to deal with management!
Before we ended our lease in December 07, I loved this place! It was quiet, had a washer/dryer in unit, nicely landscaped, and in a good neighborhood. The management was always very friendly, that is, until we started our move-out process. When we found our new apartment, I called Nobel's management to let them know that we wouldn't be renewing our lease at the end of December (it was late November at this point). The office staff took down the information and when I asked what else I needed to do as far as giving official notice they cheerily said "a phone call is fine, you're good". A couple weeks later I called again to schedule the final walkthrough, and was told by the MANAGER that because I didn't come in and fill out an official notification form that we would be responsible for rent through January. When I told her that her staff had informed me that a simple call was enough notice, she said "My staff is very well trained and would not say that, I don't believe you." Many angry conversations later, she came around to the fact that her boneheaded, GED holding bimbo staff can and does make mistakes, quite often actually, and made the corrections to my lease. Upon our move out we were provided with a list of prices for maintenance should Nobel Court need to do complete to get our apartment ready for the next tenant. The price for a 1 bedroom carpet steam clean was $40, so knowing that renting a steam cleaner myself would cost at least $35, I let them do it. They called me later that week to tell me that my entire apartment "smelled of urine" (completely not true as I had no pets, habitually relieved myself in the toilet as humans traditionally do, and had steam cleaned the carpets three times myself during my 9 month lease. I like pretty carpets, what can I say?) so they had "pulled up the carpet and used a forensic blacklight and saw pet urine stains all over the floor" and that I would be responsible for completely replacing the carpet at cost. So I asked if the previous tenant had pets and if the same CSI blacklight technique was used when they moved out, and they played dumb. Naturally, if they performed this level of inspection upon every move out, then they should have had a record of the previous tenant, whether or not they had pets, whether or not any urine was detected on the floors, and if so proof that the carpets were completely replaced before my move in. I know for a fact my carpets were not brand new at the time of my move-in, so therefore the previous tenants could not have had pets or would have to have had the ONLY perfect pets in the universe that never had any indoor accidents, ever. Because of course, Nobel Courts policy, according to them, was that any trace of urine, whether expertly cleaned or not, was cause for a full carpet replacement chargeable to the tenant. After I explained this to them, they sheepishly said that the manager would call me to explain the next day, which she never did. It's been about a month and I have yet to receive any notice by phone or mail, so we'll see. My accounts of these conflicts are VERY sugarcoated and in reality involved much heated discussions and attitude or outright screaming on my part to get them to see basic logic. They will argue anything to keep your deposit AND charge excess costs on top of that. Overall it's a nice place, but beware of the management and their practices. Don't trust anything they say, get it all in writing whenever you have to deal with them, no matter how small because it will come back get you once you move out.

Most Awful!!
This apartment seems nice on the outside and they even remodeled on the inside but they didn't replace the old crap that has been there since the units were built 30 years ago. Our kitchen sink overflowed out of both sides for more than 2 hours and would have completely flooded the entire apartment if we had not taken buckets to the bathtub- it took the management office 5 hours to get an emergency plumber to the unit. Our car was broken into in the "locked" parking garage and maintenance came and cleaned up all the glass before a police report could be filed. Our motorcycle was also stolen from the "resident only" access garage and if you left things outside your door for more than a few hours, maintenance would come and throw it away down the trash shoot. Our mailbox was broken into somehow (I found our mail on the stairs, opened, and gone through and the office would do NOTHING about any of it. Then they cut down all the trees in the courtyard without telling us, totally exposing our windows (which had been covered by trees) and didn't bother to give me back my expensive hummingbird feeder that has hanging in the branches. The leasing office people were rude and when we decided to move rather than buy their crappy unit when they converted to condos, they didn't care about any of our problems anymore at all. This place is the most awful apartment complex in the entire country and moving here would be a really bad idea!! They take your money and leave you with all the problems! It is a real crap hole complex.

Kiss your deposit good-bye
This place wasn't that bad. It came under new management near the tail end of my year long stay and they seemed to be enforcing some new regulations - they weren't too intrusive. Our apartment in particular was pretty quiet, with the exception of an annoying pet bird that would squawk up a storm on the weekends. Parking is tight but manageable. I paid a 229 dollar deposit, which is relatively cheap, but they took me to the cleaners doing the check out inspection. My first mistake was opting not to be present for a pre-inspection - I just couldn't find the time. They charged me 92.00 for cleaning the carpet (acceptable considering I'd lived there for a year), 90 dollars for painting the walls (unacceptable), and a 35 dollar cleaning bill (unacceptable considering I had the place cleaning before I vacated). In the end, my advice is to carefully monitor you check-out process in order to get all your cash back. This is the first apartment I've rented and not received every penny back from my initial security deposit.

You will never get your deposit back
I lived there only for 3 months, and pay $100 more for every month rate. When I left, I have the aprtment totally cleaned and left no touch on the wall. The woman who did the inspection even could not find any sign of touching, she said that will be a very very partial painting and i will got most of my deposits. But she even forgot to ask me what is my new mailing address, (and now I know she was really really hope I forgot too, so that they can take all of my deposit). Finally i got only $79 from $330 deposit. They charged me $110 for partial panting and $95 for cleaning, $35 for cleaning the carpet (which they claimed they charge every person for carpet cleaning).I suspect they did any cleaning or painting because the aprtment just looks like when I moved in. I felt like been robbed. I had moved in and out from many apartment complexes and they are the most dishonest.

Great Staff!
I don't know what the old staff was like, but I moved here a couple months ago and I love it! The office staff is super helpful, and even printed me out directions to Costco the other day. Oh, and there are always cookies in the office! My apartment is really quiet and I love being able to walk to Whole Foods. Highly recommended :)

It has all of the ammenities you can ask for and more! swimming pool, spa, bbq, Volley ball court. plus under grough parking! The front staff are very easy to work with and are always friendly. Great Job Nobel Court!!!! One im provement i would like to see would, be long distant remotes for the front gate.
