Nobody´s Cup of Tea...definitely NOT worth it
The staff is unfriendly and there is a language barrier with the maintenance crew. But if you love broken elevators that are out for months, loud people in the middle of the night, and drag racers screeching in the neighborhood who are also skilled at doing donuts, then this is the right place to be! The lingering secondhand smoke that comes in through the windows when you´re dying of heat because there´s no air conditioning is also nice. Definitely worth your hard earned money in high rent.

Not worth it!
The complex is NOT well maintained, the elevators are CONSTANTLY broken, repair time can be a few days to several months. There is no air conditioning and the apartment floor plan doesn´t allow for a cross breeze, the heat is unbearable 5 months out of the year. The walls are so thin, you can hear other people´s messages left on their answering machines, not to mention fights, romantic encounters, and tv shows. Dealing with the office staff is always a gamble, they may be very helpful one day and completely rude the next. I would expect better service for the rent they charge and the image they try to project.

Entirely too noisy; Mgmt. has no control; elevator breaks a lot
Wouldn´t live here again. Office staff is disorganized and has no control over noise levels, which are excessive. Elevator breaks a lot.

Good place to live!!
I have lived here at Nobel Court for almost two years and I love it here! Especially the the people in the office. They are helpful even when it looks busy. It is ideally located by the freeway for a 10 minute drive to PB and campus. Everytime so far that I have had something to be fixed it was done by the next day. Sometimes the people who come home at night on the weekends are loud but generally it is quiet and I totally feel safe to walk around the property at night to the pools. When I am out late like at the clubs, I feel safe to park in the garage because it has bright lights and it is gated. Also, the parking spaces are assigned- even if it is a little cramped -at least I know I will have somewhere to park - not like when I lived in Pacific Beach. I would recommend this place!
