I love my apartment, but it just doesn't stop there. The staff is AMAZING! They go above and beyond to make sure the residents are well taken care of. It is a safe and quiet place to live. I have never had a work order more than 24 hours old. They are on top of it. The resident portal is very easy to use too! I will definitely plan on signing my lease again with Cheyenne Crossing. A+

Office staff and maintenance are great, and that's where it stops. Large pot holes/craters in the parking lot and a broken front gate for 6 months and counting. It seriously looks trashy. At lease renewal they offered me a 10% increase....10%! I was in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, no central air or heat and no guaranteed parking. They thought it was worth $1270 a month plus about $100 extra for trash, sewer and water. They keep the heated outdoor pool going all winter long. No one is ever in it and guess who pays for it? So $1370? Nope I got out. Their reasoning was "because everyone else is raising their prices". Lol such a joke.

Cheyenne Crossing apartments are by far the worst apartments I have ever lived in. The staff is friendly up front, but be warned, the management does not care about you. They neither care nor understand about a Soldiers busy schedule and will charge late fees in access of $75 for paying after the 3rd. It is not advertised on their promotions, but Cheyenne Crossing charges hidden monthly fees (about $80) for facilities and water. As a business, you should include whatever fees into rent and take care of facilities on your own, not advertise lower prices on apartments then pass those fees along to the tenants. Additionally, one would expect nice facilities for all these fees; however this is not the case. The laundry room is absolutely disgusting and most of the washing machines stink inside. I feel uncomfortable putting my clothes into these machines. Im sure the management takes most of those fees as profit. This is not how you run a business. As for the apartments, upon first inspection they look presentable; however, like everything else, this is not the case. It is apparent that Cheyenne Crossing furnished these apartments as cheaply as humanly possible. The dishwasher barely works, the garbage disposal constantly clogs, the towel racks are not secured into studs so when hanging wet towels the rack rips out of the wall (they fixed this twice but continue to not anchor into studs). Of particular note is the bathroom vent. When showering, I would turn the vent on to dissipate steam, but after showering I would notice weird black reside on everything in the bathroom. I eventually got curious and pulled the cover off the vent to see what the issue was. The fan in the vent was covered with nasty black dust/insulation that must have been at least 10 years old. Furthermore, there was no vent that led to the outside, the fan was just spinning in its housing sucking nasty insulation and dust in and pushing it back out into the bathroom. It was a vent that vented to nowhere, but it did suck insulation into the apartment. I disconnected it myself. Another part of the apartment in particular disarray are the cabinets. I pay almost $100 a mont more for the "upgraded cabinets and appliances". These upgraded cabinets are the exact same particle board cabinets original to the units but painted dark brown so they look different. They removed the old doors and added new particle board doors with a dark colored plastic laminate on the outside to look like dark wood grain. They can't be any more faux. Additionally, when I moved into the apartment the cabinet doors were not even installed and it took them 6 months to install them. Seriously, I would recommend looking elsewhere for an apartment. There is still more I could say but I think I said enough for now. I pay about $1,000 a month (after hidden fees) for this place. The owners should be embarrassed and ashamed.

Cheyenne Crossing was a comfortable and safe apartment to live in. The community was welcoming and always planning something eventful. The neighborhood was quiet and family friendly. The pet fee was $25.00 a month which I didn't like, but every apartment has that now. There was not a parking pass fee! When I needed maintenance, they sent someone as soon as possible. This was my first home on my own, and it was a great place to be.

We love these apartments and the office staff! By far the best place we've ever lived and called home, the apartments are kept up very well, it blew us away when we first viewed them and we fell in love. The grounds are always well kept and very dog friendly! I can't express how amazing these apartments are because I could never do them justice.

Cheyenne Crossing Apartments have been the BEST we could ask for! Since day one of moving in the staff in the office have been there to help us the whole way thru. We really get a sense of community living here. We are so happy we picked Cheyenne Crossing Apartments as our home.

Let me start by saying I lived here two years and only had one issue. I was happy that I lived there. That all changed when I put in my notice to move. None of the office staff knows what they are doing. None of them. I gave notice that I was moving but because I didn't know when my orders would be cut(a few months from then) I didn't know the exact day I would move out. I was told this was no issue. I could just pay my rent until the first and when i found out the date let them know, and I would get a credit towards move out costs for the days I Didn't live in the unit. The few months between then and move out I also was told confusing information about move out costs and a cleaning fee that is NOT In the lease. I was told to read my lease to find out this cost, and it's not in there! Just a list of what each thing could cost if it's dirty. I had to bring in all 53 pages of my lease and ask her to point it out. After four times of talking she finally said it's not in there. instead of charging you a by item cleaning fee they just charge you 100 bucks to clean the whole unit at a flat cost. Which isn't a problem had it just been explain to me instead of saying read your lease. I can't know what my costs are if they aren't listed. Fast forward to move out. When I moved out I had around 230ish in rent owed back to me since I paid up until the 1st. They sent me a bill that was almost 430 with NONE of the extra rent credited back to me. With my 200 deposit taken off they said I owed 230. This was for the cleaning fee a blind that was already cracked when I moved in, carpet shampoo and drip pans. I called them furious. I was told by the billing person that they didn't own me anything because I had put down my date until the first. Even though THEY are the ones that told me to do that because I didn't know my exact move out date. I admit I yelled at her. But at that point I was tired of their nonsense. I was DONE with being told one thing and it turned out to be another. Absolutely over it. She finally said she would speak to the other staff member and get back to me. They sent me Another bill for 5.03 and started off the email with "To avoid being yelled at further,". I called the next day and tried to pay the bill. The billing lady basically refused to get on the phone because she was busy. I was told they would use my account with AMC to pay it. Another day goes by and I STILL have no received notice that my bill is paid in full. I email again and got one back that said I'll email you a receipt. All I wanted to do was back 5 dollars and 3 cents so I can stop dealing with these people! And I'm on day three of this at this point. So I called the corporate office in Denver and spoke to the manager there. She seemed pretty concerned at how I was treated, how my billing was handled and that no one had closed out my account. She then asked for the screen shots of the emails and said she would handle it. The lady at the corporate office emailed me back apologized for their actions and said I don't owe them anything and my account was paid in full and in good standing. After going through that I can't recommend these apartments at all. Not to mention they charge you to paint the units(per them $150) and they don't even paint them!! I watched people move out all around me and not one time did I see a paint crew. I even went into the one directly under me after a couple moved in and I know for a fact it wasn't painted. It was nice living so close to carson but there are better apartments in the area with competent staff.

I have lived at Cheyenne Crossing for two years, the longest I have lived in an apartment complex. I have loved it here! There were some rough times wtih the change of ownership, but they were smoothed out pretty quick. I'd like for the heated pool/hot tub would be more consistent but it's year round and that's really great. The staff are friendly and attentive, maintenance requests are taken care of fairly quickly even though they're pretty busy. I don't have any plans to move from here and I'd recommend it to friends and family.

I would rather live on the streets. There's nothing good about living here. You pay an outrageous rent bill and no utilities included. I lived near residents who had no respect, did drugs , etc. When I mentioned it to the manager they basically said it couldn't be them because they're in the military it was me who was creating noise, etc. I lived on the bottom floor and I heard everything my neighbor upstairs was doing. When I mentioned the drugs, the manager offered me an upstairs apartment but you have to pay , just for being on the second floor? No, biggest mistake of my life to have lived here. Plus, now that I moved out and broke the lease, I have to pay $2000.00 plus all these extra fees they tackled on like rolled carpet!!...Glad I live in a better apartment, my utilities are included in the reny, it's quiet, and I'm saving overv $300 a month.

I have to say, I've read some of the reviews and I find that some of them are outright ridiculous. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. I've been in the office a few times when people have been outright jerks towards them. LATE FEES- maybe you wouldn't get them if you paid rent on time. If you didn't like their late fee policy (which every complex has), then you shouldn't have signed a lease. POOP- those guys on the maintenance crew do a darn good job about picking up after some peoples laziness. I've lived in apartment complexes for almost 20 years. Poop is a problem everywhere because of lazy owners, not lazy staff. REPAIRS- mine are always addressed. Sometimes it can take a little, but I'm always taken care of. Ya know why? I call. They aren't mind readers, so it might do ya some good to call them when something breaks. GATE- Maybe if people would stop hitting it with their cars, it wouldn't break! Look at that easy solution! NOISE- report it to them! Call the security company! STAFF- The staff is small and some people get bent out of shape when Matt or Anna are busy so that the leasing girl has to help. Hello! That's what she's there for! To help! She's not there to look pretty. Oh, and to that guy who called the manager a fruit in his review, get bent! I'm not exactly pro-gay, but Matt is always professional! He's never made me or my husband feel uncomfortable. Some people are gay. GET OVER IT. Now, I only have two complaints- #1 is the trash containers. They got rebuilt a while back, but the doors are ridiculously heavy. This makes people avoid opening them and just throwing their trash over the rail. However, lo and behold, the crew cleans it up! #2 is the wifi. I know they're rolling out a new system, but it's buggy and slow. Can't wait for the kinks to get worked out!!!

These aparments are just a front. My wife moved in here while I was on deployment and at first we had no problems. The first problem is the dog poop everywhere. I have pets myself, but no one here picks up anything and a lot of it is because the stations never get refilled with more bags. The rent is based off location. The aparments have old heating and cooling systems. There is no parking anywhere past 6pm. I get off work late sometimes and I have no where to park besides under a car port that sit empty the whole time I've been here. In the free parking there are multiple vehicles that just sit there for months without any issues. I brought the issue up to management and the apartment manager is some sissy la la stuck up pansy who tells me I should walk and park hundreds of meters away. Then states that I NEED to register my car which I bought not even a week prior and give him the licensing information so if he tows it they can contact me. The walls are thin, you hear everything the neighbors say. Low water pressure, the stoves always breaking, etc. nice looking apartments on the outside and a great area but I had a better experience off of circle in the ------. AND CHEAPER

The only positive thing about this place is that it is in Broadmoor and a close commute. Dogs defecate everywhere. The staff is passive aggressive, unhelpful, and there seems to be a high turn over. The infrastructure is falling apart: rotting wood, low water pressure, corroded lamp posts that fall over. Window screens all fall out and the windows do not stay open. Utilities are very expensive and so much water is wasted with the sprinkler system to water rocks and the parking lot. I would not recommend such a slum for the price. No wonder the last owners sold out, they did not want to have to pay for all the maintenance that would need to be done. Look somewhere else.

I wish I had never moved in here. Everything has a fee attached to it. We have paid so much money in just start up fees. The water bill is split between everyone, but includes the pool and the sprinklers. The pool heater is broken, so we are paying for something that cannot even be used. The sprinklers are sometimes on 24hrs, so again we are paying extra money. Our entire apartment smells like dog poop and pee, such that we can not open our windows because it comes in from the dog park. They never clean the dog park and the grass is full of dog poop. The apartment itself is very old and needs improvement. There is wood missing inside, our railing is rotting and our stair case up to the apartment is very old. For the rent we are paying we expected a lot better. They told us we would get new paint and carpets before we moved in. Neither were done, and we had to push our moving in date back because they were not ready for us to move in the day they said we could. They advertise free wifi, but when you move in they inform you it is not good enough to cover everyone in the complex, so you have to get your own anyway. To pay rent there is a service fee every month that they do not tell you about. The staff is very rude and not timely on getting back to you. It took them two weeks to respond to every email I have sent them. The maintenance also takes a very long time to respond. Expect about 3 weeks before any maintenance takes place. We had awful water pressure and had to purchase a new shower head to get any remotely decent water pressure. We cannot access our lease because it expires after 3 months and they do not give you a written copy. I truly hate living here and wish we never moved in.

Horrendous office staff, particularly Matt and Anna. I wish I never moved in. I hate living here and I am constantly getting fined for things I didn't do, in addition to being a target by the mean and rude office staff. I am afraid to go in there and ask for a work order, because all they have done in the past is literally scream at me and then didn't even complete the work order. My sink is STILL not working properly. I even had a maintenance guy follow me when I was walking my small pooch outside, as if he was trying to catch me not picking up her poop, which I have no reason not too. I've gotten $50 fines for each of the neighbors dog's poop. That's $200 this year so far. Not too sure if there are any attorneys in the area that can help with such an issue, which is why I am writing this review so I can help others not have the same experience. The lawns are covered in dog poop, photo included.

Cheyenne Crossing apartments is an apartment complex that I would highly recommend for someone to live. The office staff and residents are all friendly. The office staff is always glad to see my dog when I go to the office. This is the first time I have lI've in an apartment for 25 years and have been here 6 months. I feel this is a place to call home. I feel safe due the security is at a high standard and office staff seems to really care about the safety of all tenants. There are 2 pools, hot tub, fitness room, and laundry facilities available for residents to use at anytime. However, some units have there own private washer and dryer. There is a program called Urban Village that has events every month for all ages (i.e. yoga, hiking, game night, movie night, holiday parties and get togethers. This is more like a big family and all new comers are welcomed.

This has been a great place to live so far. I've been here for just over a year and I would recommend it to anyone. The office staff is very friendly and willing to help with any questions or concerns that may come their way. I have two dogs and the office staff is always excited to greet my girls with open arms and a dog treat. There are also dog stations scattered through out the community so cleaning up after my dogs is easy. Maintenance is extremely friendly and helpful. I had to call a maintenance man at about 2 AM one night and he showed up at my apartment with no complaints to help me fix the plumbing problem. The property has two pools, a hot tub and a nice grill so having a friend or two over is always fun during the summer. I also really like the location. The mountains are a 5 minute drive away, there is a shopping center right across the street with several restaurants and King Soopers as well as Safeway are right around the corner. The residents are very friendly but overall they are quiet so I've never had any problems with noise. There is a program that this property hosts called Urban Village. Urban Village hosts family friendly events several times through out the month to invite residents out to meet each other. A few of the events include weekly yoga, a community garden, and game nights. Very fun to get involved with!! Overall I have loved living here. Five stars!!

By far the WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in .Maintenance is HORRIBLE. Our roof was leaking for 3 months and the walls were ruined we scheduled three different times for them to come a NEVER showed up but yet wanted to raise our rent for a ------ --- apartment. They will screw you over every chance they get WARNING: DO NOT MOVE THERE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

"Staff" fails to get their internal website up during the time in which rent is due, thus allowing them to charge a late fee of $75 plus $85 plus another $35... for a grand LATE FEE TOTAL OF $195 just for being one day late with the rent. There is a law against this, so protect yourself by not allowing this to happen or simply just don't move in. If you are reading this it's a sign you shouldn't be living here!! I'm already looking for a new place to live and my lease isn't up for a few more months- but I refuse to get robbed on the rent in addition to them turning a blind eye to burglaries and vehicle thefts DUE TO THE UNLOCKED GATE AND NO SECURITY.

Do not rent here. I pay 1,020 for a 2 bedroom and it's a ------ apartment. Maintenance is rude as hell. They previously fixed the stairs and they have the old one just sitting there with the nails hanging out.... Kids? I've called and complained 2 days ago they've been out there for a week! Most residents I'd like to punch because there rude and noisy. My neighbors blare their music I've confronted them they told be to F××k off I called the office and they didn't do anything about it. I had to call the COS PD to file a noise complaint because they kept waking up my baby. They never let us know when a package is received to us through the office. They've tried telling us twice that we didn't pay our utilities... Thank God I saved my statements. They told me they do not allow pit bulls or large dogs but I've seen several pure pits and big dogs being walked. Overall if your willing to pay 1,020 a month on a ------ apartment you might as well rent a house

I would highly recommend you DO NOT move into these apartments. Amenities include a luxurious gated community but is everything but that. The gates are left wide open during some weather, allowing any person to drive in and snoop through. For example we had a vehicle STOLEN right from this luxurious gated community... We asked the front staff if they had cameras, the explained they only had them in the front, well we told them our car was stolen while they left their "secure" gates open. They, by they i mean the RUDE, Unprofessional woman working at the desk yelled at my boyfriend saying "it's not my fault someone stole your car". Hm. If you ask me these gates should always be closed only allowing those who have a code or a automatic button to open that gate. But wait, i'm not done yet. The groundskeepers or whatever they do, do not do their jobs. Our sidewalks remain icy and very slippery from a storm a few days ago. Making it very dangerous to even walk outside to your car without falling. We have never received our "updated" cabinets that they promised us in June of 2014. At this point i am hoping you see out frustration. I advise those who want to feel safe/secure DO NOT move into these apartments. Everything about this complex is terrible. We no longer feel safe. If someone can just come in and steal a car what else are they going to do?

Overall it's a nice community to live in. The noise level isn't any higher than other communities (it's actually quieter than most). The grounds are are lovely; they have landscaping crews on property once or twice a month, lots of grass, flowers, trees. Pool is always clean. During the winter maintenance shovels the snow from every sidewalk (including the stairs to the 2nd floor units!) My husband was deployed for 9 months and I felt extremely safe living here with our two young kids. Lots of friendly neighbors, maintenance are always on property working, lots of foot traffic with the majority of them military. The neighborhood is well-maintained with many homes in the surrounding area. Near to shopping centers, parks, and entertainment. Maintenance is always available, I've had maybe ten service requests submitted since I've moved in and each time it was completed in a timely and professional manner. The office staff are wonderful too. Matt, April, and Sharon have always been available to answer my questions and address my concerns; they communicate well with their tenants. I've heard and read negative reviews from others and what it comes down to is if there's an issue, tell somebody what it is and what you'd like done. If it doesn't get fixed the way you want, then follow-up. The key to the entire thing is communicating what your needs are and not expecting others to be mind readers.

I love living at Cheyenne Crossing. The guys take really good care of the grounds most of the time. April & Matt are always very friendly. Sharon is an absolute hoot! We had a pool party last weekend & it was so much fun! Matt was the DJ & April gave away a bunch of prizes. The wifi isn't the greatest, but hey, it's free! People don't clean up after their dogs, but the management & service staff always do their best to make sure we don't step in poop.

We should of taken the advice from "apartmentratings.com" because the reviews are so on point. We have lived here for a short time and we are very unhappy. My wife is military and we are stationed at Fort Carson. We have lived many places put this has been the most unprofessional by far. We have to wait for work orders, dog crap everywhere, trash not being picked up, We always have to tell the manager or maintenance about things that need fixing or problems that need to be taken care of. The manager is never seem walking the property and the guy that is in charge of maintenance is so lazy. There is always excuses to why things are not done or need fixing or need attention. Its always a sob story or they are to busy. However they have plenty of time to stand outside and smoke. It seems every time you drive by the whole staff is standing on the side of the clubhouse smoking, or everyone is sitting in the office as if it were a break room eating. The maintenance staff more so the guy in charge cant even put down a cigarette while driving or doing anything professional or constructive. the residents call him the smoking chimney. We have asked for several things to be taken care of and weeks later still nothing. The speeding and loud music in the complex is so bad and has been addressed to the manager and yet still the same. It seems that who ever runs this place does not care how its ran or how it looks. Its like a frat party here and the staff is the major problem behind it. I would never recommend a Advenir property to anyone if they are all ran like this one is. Its really sad because the neighborhood is very popular and very well kept and maintained. Advenir makes it a eye sore. You definitely get what you pay for. Cheyenne Crossing needs a professional staff not these people they have now.

The community has a playground, but it should really be for pets. Everybody seems to take their dogs there. Gross if you have small children that want to actually go and play. You can hear your neighbors (if you live on the first floor). Pool area is fine. We never had to deal with the maintenance team yet. The heating/AC sucks! I can have my thermometer cranked up (70 degrees) and it's still cold inside. During the summer months, i'm smothering in the heat. Not worth the price. Can't have to many things going at once (lights, tv, microwave, fan) or else the fuse box will pop. Old as hell.
