It was great at first, but over the last 3 years it has become more run down, unsafe and it doesn't seem like they care who they let move in. The public areas such as the pool deck and seating areas are so dilapidated. Some of the people in the office are nice, yet others make you feel like you are nothing but a bother

Overall a very nice place to live with the exception of a few tenants that have come & gone. The whole property is kept up as best as I believe they can. The pool is kept nice, the walking trail around the lakes are nice, but I wish people would not litter. That unfortunately is a never ending battle!

has been pretty good up to the last year or so. The mtce response is nothing like it used to be.It's getting to be a little frustrating.I just think they should be better at repairs when they do them. My screens on my porch are all bent on the bottomk. We have lizards coming in. When they painted the porch, they broke a screen in half and when they replaced it, all they did was take the broken screen and screw it to the frame.I've asked several times to get all this fixed. So far nothing has been done. I also have had a ceiling on my porch leaking water for 2 1/2 years, also leaking through my light fixture. I also know of another tennant that is having the same problem. I work in customer relations,if i was to rate this, it wouldn't be in the very satisfied area.

the experience at this community is good but I dislike the maintenance of the pools, specially when there are bodily fluids involved and they arent cleaned up properly. and i also dont like the fact that you have to have a pool pass we pay enough rent to be able to go to the pool without a pass i understand people that dont live here shpuldnt have acceas but we pay for these things already and therefore ahould be included.

I can not answer this question. It would not be good for this community....I have lived here for a long time. I have seen this property go down hill (really Bad) I don't feel that Maa does enough to make this place shine like it should. The lighting here stinks!

The maintenance people I do not make you feel like a #1 priority I feel. When my dish washer was spilling out water, causing water damage to our carpet, it took him 4 days to finally complete his task. Also when my toilet was clogged it took 3 days to finally get it fixed, so I had no toilet to use when I was home. My upstairs neighbors are absolutely TERRIABLE to live around, it's hard for my husband and I to sleep at night with all the noise from there million's of kids stomping & running up there @3 a.m. They are beyond disruptive all hours throughout the day as well.

Everything is acceptable, but the parking spaces need to be more defined, parking lines are not defined very well so parking could be more efficient if more detailed lines where made. Overall landscaping and other curb appeal is most inviting.

I moved into my apartment in August and I have had nothing but problems since I moved in. Apartments are not taken care of at all. If you have problem they will come out and slap a bandaid on it. They let all kinds of tash move in. They tell you they do a back ground check and they don't. They just take your money. We have had two meth lab bust and they didn't even send out a letter or anything to there residents... They never take care of the trash compactor. So trash is always building up and will sit there for the entire day.... I can hear my neiborgh above me take a poop and if he farts really loud I can hear it. That is just nasty. There is never anywhere to park. The gates don't work so they shouldn't advertise that it's a safe neiborghood.. Cars get vandalized. And the list goes on. If you have any commen sence you won't move here. As soon as my lease is up I am getting out.

I moved from Paddock Park back in 2010. I accidentally left some decore behind and they sent me a bill for $200 which I paid right away, now in 2014 I run my credit report to find they have sent me to collections. I have the check as proof and the idiots still denied payment. I think a precquisate to having a job there is that the employee be "stuck on stupid"... There was a bad ant problem but they blamed it on the trees..

Paddock park apartments are the worst apartments I have ever lived in. The staff was very friendly when I signed a lease, after I moved in my A/C broke several times and there was a constant bug infestation. I requested another apartment or I wanted to moved out completely. The manager was a ----- and told me I was a dirty individual and that's why I had an infestation and basically told us I'm not allowed to move. I had to stay with family and friends for days due to not having A/C in the middle of summer with 2 small children and could not sit and have a nice meal without bugs flying all around. I moved out and disputed an eviction notice and still received a 3500.00 bill. There were constantly spiders appearing in ever room, the neighbor above me was bitten in her bed by a poisonous spider and had emergency surgery. I will never recommend this apartment to anyone. I will also make sure my story is heard.

So we moved out of Paddock Park apartments in June, with a few months left on our lease, ending on August 7th. I waited and waited on my security deposit check and it still had not been received by today. I called them today and after being put on hold 3 different times, I was told it had been sent out to the forwarding address I gave them at move out. Upon further review the check was sent to the following address: 1989 B Greenville, NC 27858 Did it it take any of you more than 2 seconds to realize that something was missing?!? Thats right, the geniuses sent out my check with no STREET in the address. I am pretty sure I learned the proper way to address an envelope in the third grade. Not only did this happen in Ocala, but corporate offices approved this as well. These are the same people that pressure washed our door ruining a Christmas banner and while painting the patio, somehow managed to paint my car in the parking lot. To all of my Ocala friends, DO NOT RENT FROM PADDOCK PARK!

This place is a dump! The people in the office are completely incompetent. They are absolutely useless. The only way to get anything done is to call the corporate offices. That will light a fire under their a$$. The gate stays broken, it is not safe, people come in and out all the time, that do not live here. Calling maintenance or the office for anything is a complete waste of time. They always say they forgot. Please! Please DO NOT move here you will be sorry. This place should be shut down by the county it is not inhabitable for anyone.

Awful. The staff lady, Linda, that always deals with us has a horrible attitude and has on multiple occasions told me that I don't have any idea of what I'm talking about and has implied that I'm lying about when my lease is up. Not to mention the fact that she won't take you until her personal phone call ends. We can hear our neighbors clear as day through our walls and the everything in the apartment is made cheaply. We have had several friends also rent here and they have also mentioned the fact that they have random spots on the walls, even where people can't touch, and random spotting on the carpeting, as we did. As I mentioned before, the staff act like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to live in their cheap apartments. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The rent is the only thing they have going for them, and they raise that every year you rent with them anyway.

Horrible. When we moved in we quickly learned that our apartment was infested with fleas. Our neighbor told us that the previous owners of our apartment left for this reason. I've also learned that other apartments are/were infested with fleas as well. The office doesn't tend to do anything ahout the situation and most of then have bad attitudes. We have water coming out from our porch light in which we were told by the office that it wasn't an issue. It's extremely dark at night and the only tome the gate closes is at 8pm til about 9 and half the timenyour gate code doesn't work. The aparments are also very dark with the lack of windows you feel as if you're living in a cave. Last but not least there are lots of cock roaches. I STRONGLY suggest looking else where for your future home.

Best value apartment in MARION COUNTY
I have lived at Paddock Park going on three years now and I love it! It is the best place for people who are not wanting the commitment of a mortgage but love to be close to everything. I did shop around when I looked for an apartment, and I found Paddock Park to be the best. Every time I submit a request for maintenance, they are always there the same day, or if I called in the afternoon, then maybe the following day. The staff on site is always friendly and willing to help if they can. I have two dogs- one large and one small, and we LOVE the walking trail which circles around two duck ponds - gorgeous. Ms Linda, the manager has been here for 12 years and counting, and just the other day there were two ladies I met in the fitness room who have lived there over 20 years! Their fitness room is the biggest I have seen in an apartment community, and they do their best to keep everything nice and clean. Their landscaping is phenomenal - the grass is always green and it seems like they change the flowers out every season… See More>9/1/2016

I would never rent there again
They dont want to fix anything. The gate was broke the year we was there. The pics on the internet show things completely different The pond is green and has an odor.the pools are cloudy and not so clean more than half the time. When we moved in they would clean the entrance weekly.now it is once every 3 months if your lucky.the ducks soil it you have to watch where you step.pest control never comes even though you pay 4.99 monthly. The landscaping is nice and well kept. Our carpet was stained when we moved in. tried to clean it but the dirt was in the padding and would return upon drying.Go see it in person and keep an open mind.check the pools afew times.come at night and see the gates opened.ask to see the apartment that will be yours before signing the lease.I didnt but wish i had.

They fix nothing
All the outside lights are out, they refuse to fix them since November, the security gate is broken, the paint is cracking and falling off the walls, the dryer hookups are not up to fire safety code, the outlets spark, there is mold, and there is a bee hive in the tree at the children's playground they refuse to take care of.These are just some of the experiences you will have when moving to paddock park!

So so....
The girl that leased us the apt was Amber, she was about the nicest person I've ever encountered apt hunting wise. Our base amount when we signed was 650.00 but with the additional costs (pest control, cable, garbage, ect) we end up paying 748. They have only had the pest control around once in the 6 mnths we've been here, and there is a misc charge that we don't even know where that money is going at all. I went to ask about using the clubhouse and was told it would be free just let them know closer to the date... a couple days later after figuring out the date of the event I went back and they "changed" policy to where we would pay 100.00 to use the room and 175.00 damage deposit? Uhmmmm no thanks. The older ladies in the office are NOT that friendly. As far as anything breaking on us the maintenance men are VERRYY prompt and verry polite. They come to fix anything within 24hrs and normally the same guy comes each time (at least for us). Location is absolutely amazing. Off center of town 2 minute drive to mall, publix, walmart, ect. … See More>9/1/2016
