I've been living here for a little over two years and I have to say that I don't plan on moving any time soon. The location is great, the neighborhood is quiet and overall I feel very safe and at home. The staff at the leasing office have always been friendly and accommodating, even during their transition of owners last year. I especially LOVE the upgrades done to the gym, as I have an active lifestyle. I couldn't recommend this place any more!

This is a clean well kept community with a good system of maintenance. Office staff is often slow in responding. Square footage is spacious enough. Garage is a very valuable addition. Handling of mail could be improved. Doors, windows could be maintained better.

Great and peaceful community that is close enough to everything yet still out of the way. Maintenance is prompt and respectful. The leasing office personal are always a pleasure to speak with and attend to your needs accordingly. Recommended.

Great place to live. Beautiful, well maintained, quiet community but don't expect an office staff that makes you feel warm and fuzzy because there's a lack customer service skills. Previous management focused on making the resident feel a part of a community while also maintains the property beautifully... now you're just a rent check.

My experience at this community has been great so far! I was having a hard time finding a place close to my job and until I heard about this place. Maribel and her great customer service skills made me feel like home. She's awesome! I am in love with the GYM of the community

The entire staff has been nothing but friendly, helpful and professional from my first phone call to the signing of my lease. The staff has answered all my questions and assisted me in feeling at home right as I walked in the door. Thank you Arium Palms.

Arium Palms has been the greatest apartment complex to live at! The staff always keep everything clean and they are always willing to help you in any situation! I have never had any noise issues, and the complex is gated and secure. I love the location of it because there is hardly ever any traffic. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great place to live!

We enjoy the quiet nature of the community. The mail and package receipt/retrieval system needs work. Part is post office problem, part is tracking of packages stored in the office. Office staff is friendly.

I have lived here for two years now and have always felt very safe. I wish the rent was a little better but I am very satisfied with everything else about the property especially the new gym and friendliness of the new management staff. Thumbs up!

I love living in here, I got to here before it was Arium, though I have to admit that the changes in the gym and common areas are great, though I still feel that you could work in trying to be more personal when speaking or directing to the residents. My only complaint is that I have received outside propaganda and Food menus.

Price has gone up a lot without value to existing tenants. New appliances and cupboards are installed to new tenants only. Also no carpet cleaning with new leases is a huge disappointment. Lawn and maitaince staff are the best part of the community.

I love my apartment! I enjoyed living there when it was Century considering everyone was so nice. When the new company took over I was so skeptical, but the changes are phenomenal and the new staff genuinely cares about everyone. They have resident events at all times! I feel like the office staff now genuinely cares about the residents. If I didn't have to move due to my job I would still live at Arium Palms World Gateway! It is the best place I have yet called home!

We just relocated from Maryland to be close to a new job at Epcot. After touring 13 different housing options--from single family homes to townhomes to apartments & condos, it was a no-brainer to move into Arium Palms. Compared to everything we had seen, our apartment here was everything we were looking for: close to work, pet friendly, has washer & dryer in unit, community pool. AND it's very clean and the unit and the community appear to be very well-maintained.

The previous management company (Century Palms) did a great job. But when this new management company came in, the level of service took a huge nose dive. They are strictly interested in profits, increasing rent prices by 15%. They are claiming that is the market, but it's not. The price levels are those of the Celebration community. But this is not Celebration. The office staff will treat you great to your face but not follow through with their commitments. With the price, I expect to be treated with respect and not have to keep on the staff to get things done.

I have lived at Century Palms for two years. Initially I lived on the third floor in a one-bedroom apartment. My apartment faced the woods, and it was on a corner, so it was extremely quiet. I now live on the second floor (of a two-story building) in a three-bedroom apartment. Again, my apartment faces the woods and I essentially have neighbors only on one side. It is very quiet. I have absolutely no complaints about living in this complex. It is conveniently located to I4, The Loop shopping location, 192, Celebration, and Disney. The office staff and the maintenance staff are phenomenal. I have had only a few maintenance/pest control requests and they were all handled promptly and efficiently.

First of if you're looking for reviews of this complex, you might want to search "Avenues at World Gateway", it's previous name. Century Palms at World Gateway is an excellent place to live. I think people come on sites like these because they have an axe to grind, but this is a sincere review. The location is outstanding. It's tucked away at the end of a street seemingly away from it all, yet close to EVERYTHING! The property is well maintained and has beautiful landscaping. The office staff is very nice and I'm so impressed that they remember you by name. Maintenance seems pretty good although the only thing I ever asked for was a missing stopper for sink. Pool is nice although it could be bigger. Office is nice. Nice excercise room and laundry room. Someone said laundry room gets pricey---for me it's much cheaper than buying appliances. That would just be an ego buy!! Now the appliances they rent you-- outrageous! Which brings me to basically my only complaint--- it's a money pit! But I think that's Orlando in general. It lives off of tourist dollars so tourist traps abound. My apartment would probably be $300 cheaper back home. The thing that REALLY got on my nerves was the water bill. They use a shady outfit in Georgia to collect for water and trash. You have to pay a $20 FEE to get it started. Then you pay a $6 FEE every month (on top of water and trash bill). You can't pay with your rent, so you must mail a check to Georgia, or pay a FEE to pay online. It's a money racket. Paying high rent is one thing, but I hate stupid little fees that have no purpose other than making someone rich! I love my apartment. It could be bigger. the living room/dining area I mean. And a guest closet would be nice. Speaking of closets, the racks are ridiculous. The rows are too close together, so if you have anything longer than a shirt you have to hang it on the lower rack and let it drag the floor. The upper rack is only good for a shelf or hanging underwear. This was just very poor placement. Makes walk in closet very insufficient. The lack of a microwave is troubling. If you're not going to have a built in one you should supply one. My last apartment did and their rent was almost $500 less!!! I've seen reviews with people complaining about bugs. It's Florida so I expected that. My first month I came home to a huge palmetto bug on my ceiling. After taping up the unused dryer vent and washer return line, I had no problems for 10 months. I did see a much smaller roach in the bathroom after 10 months, but nothing crazy like some say. They spray every week and had to get into my apartment the week after I saw the roach to spray for "bugs", so something was going on. Most of the residents are cordial if not very talkative. There are some jerks, as anywhere else and there are some loud vehicles- cars and bikes sometimes. Only times I've had noise problems has been during holidays, like memorial day or the 4th. My experience at Century Palms has been very positive and I would recommend it to anyone who has the money and understands apartment living. It's good living albeit not the most fiscally responsible move you can make.

I'm a current resident since early 2012. The apartments are nice and the services are acceptable. However located inside a forest there seem to be lots of bugs. When I first moved in the apartment was not cleaned properly and was infested with Roaches. Even pest control couldn't deal with it, I had to call an external pest control specialist to deal with it. The staff is not that friendly they promised appliances before my move but then said they couldn't provide it and I had to lease them from a third party. The staff seem to be lazy they are supposed to work on Weekends. One Saturday morning I went to the leasing office to get a package. And to my surprise I found a posting "Will be back shortly" (It wasn't even lunch time). I kept coming every 30 to 45 minutes and they only removed it at 4PM. I noticed that they use that TRICK to avoid working on the Weekend for long hours, they pretend they are on short breaks and so on. Neighbors is another story. But then that's not really their fault.

I love it here!
I have lived at Century Palms at World Gateway for almost three years and love it! I looked around for about six months before choosing CP@WG and chose it for several reasons. The location is great, just minutes from Disney, shopping, restaurants, I4 and SR417. Everything you need is right here or easy to get to. The staff is also very helpful and friendly and the surroundings are well kept and pleasant. Woods insulate the complex from the noise of the rest of the world. This is the first apartment I have ever lived in but know from 22 years in law enforcement that many apartments are far less than desirable places to live! Although there was a problem last year with a neighbor's dog whining when they were gone, that problem was solved when they moved :) Other than that, the complex seems nice and quiet. There are at least three police officers/deputies who live in the complext and that alone tells you something. Cops don't want to live where there are a lot of problems. They deal with enough at work! And the presence of marked squad cars in the area is a deterent. The complex employs one of the resident deputies as a security officer who checks the area during the overnight hours. The only times I recall ever seeing the police handling incidents in the complex, it was the FHP taking care of a minor crash. Most of the tenants here seem to be young adults or of retirement age and there are very few children around making noise or running in traffic. I love my indiviual apartment too. It has two nice size bedrooms, both with walk-in closets and the master suit has a large bathroom with an oversize tub. There are plenty of windows for natural light, a covered balcony, a laundry room off the kitchen and an ATTACHED garage! Everyone who visits me loves it too. I can see how some residents here feel it is noisy. The construction codes here in Florida are not at good as where I am from. I think the biggest problem is that the structures are made entirely of wood. Wood floors transmit much more noise to the apartments below than concrete and frame walls allow much more noise to pass through the walls than cinder block or concrete. All wood construction is also less fire resistant than concrete, concrete block or brick.

The good, the bad and the ugly
I have found only one thing completely repulsive about living here - the excessive noise our upstairs neighbor makes as he walks across the floor. He is single, but makes noise like a couple of folks. To be fair, I am not sure if it is just poor construction. I know that apartment living is challenging and I have not lived in one for years. I plan to move to an upstairs unit and pray I do not torture my downstairs neighbors like my neighbor did. We can hear lots of stuff through the walls - dogs, blenders and people doing it. There are a number of irresponsible dog owners who let their dogs poop anywhere and feel no need to pick it up. I think they are in the minority, though. That said, the staff has never been anything but polite to us. All in all, it is what it is, an apartment building. We want to move into a house, but that is not possible right now so we will make the best of it here.
