A very nice place to live...
I have lived in this community since August and I have been in Property Management since 2000 and this is by far the most beautiful community we've ever lived in. I have had nothing but professional experiences with the The Pointe and it's staff. Maintenance responds within the 24th hour that I put the request in. It's quiet and peaceful. My experience from the beginning has been a good one. I've rode the strip of E. Ponce DeLeon, going towards Brockett Rd and some of those other communities look like you must carry a gun to live there. I read the other reviews and I too wonder what the heck these people are going thru. Do you not appreciate or value living peacefully? I relocated to this area 2 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

so far, so good
I have lived here for a month and I have been impressed and pleased. I don't know why the other people rate the management so terribly, but it is my experience that they are professional. The landscaping is the best that I have ever seen, and it is a very quiet complex. Whenever someone breaks the gate, it is always fixed promptly. The only drawback is that it is located across the street from a railroad track and you can hear the trains, but it is not that bad.

keep looking!!!!!
This is a horrible, horrible place to live. The staff have very nasty, uncaring and unconcerned attitudes. There is a major problem with bugs (Spiders, roaches, centapedes, etc. )Exterminators are expected to come out once a week for extermination, but it seems as if they are feeding insects instead of killing them. To make matters worse, my car was stolen in front of my own apartment (why) because the gate stayed broken. There are no security cameras nor security. I've only been here 1 month and can't wait to get the hell away from here.

Only if you are desperate.
The Pointe was a good place to live, when I moved here about 4 yrs. ago. Things have changed over the years. The area has gone down, and it has forced management to lease to some not so decent people. I have been awaken in the middle of the night, because a man and a woman were fighting in the parking lot on two occasions. Some people leave trash outside their doors. All the tenants in my unit that were here when I moved in are all gone, I just have a few more days left.

don´t do it
Too much to even begin listing. Lived here in 2001-2003 since the property has been sold it only went downhill, from lack of security, and maintenance to BELOW par level leasing agents. The landscape which was once so nice I would walk around the pond with my son, NOW...needless to say I wouldn´t recommend this complex to anyone.

From Post Pointe to Poor Pointe!
I moved here in August of 2002, but I recently learned that this apartment complex used to be Post Pointe. This apartment complex is not a good place to reside. The management in passive and apathetic. Maintenance is unreliable and unpredictable. I have had to deal with months and months worth of ants, both dead and alive in the carpet and in my closet. Pest Control is here weekly, but it doesn´t seem to make a difference. The office staff presents themselves as caring and professional; however they are neither of these things. The property manager does not even respond to resident grievances; she sends the asst. manager to do the dirty work. If you want a peaceful living environment in which you do not have to fight with management and maintenance, do not sign a lease at the Pointe! They do not care about their residents! If you have further questions, just come in and ask some honest questions about the things I have mentioned. Good luck with your search!

Quality at The Pointe has sank to the bottom since Post Pointe
I have been living at the Pointe since 2001,And when I moved in, it was the luxurious Post Pointe.I some times have maintenance issues and It takes them forever to take care of it even if you call or leave a message. The routine Pest control is only at your request? overall the maintenance sucks. Its a Really nice looking property butit does not have stron management it seems that the property runs on auto pilot.Post Pointe used to leave complimentary cards on how you rated the service and a Picture of the Technician who performed the service, but they do none of that! Poor manangement when it comes to routine or maintanence repair. They used to clean and pressurewash all the breezways regularly, but now, it only happens if you call? No! I definitley would not recommend the Pointe for longer than a 6 month starter apartment, Not Long-term stay.

Not what it used to be
My husband and I moved into "Post Pointe" in 2001. Without any notice, about 4 months later Post sold the property for good reasons. Our remaining 8 months were terrible. Maintenance was sub-par, and we even experienced a rodent problem! That´s when we knew that this community was on the downslide, and we got out of there. Unless, things have change dramatically, I would not recommend this property.

Nice grounds
Grounds are good. New management is easier to deal with than Post was. Post would automatically try to raise rent every lease renewal, even as they lowered rent for newcomers in the soft market. This company usually gives incentives for lease renewals. Grounds are excellently kept. Facilities are nice. Apartments a bit small, and the complex is across the street from railroad tracks, so I recommend apartments in the back of the complex, where train noise is generally minimal.

Nice Complex
I lived here for a year, and I really liked it...it was just too far a commute. I´m not very fond of the apartments I live in now and would rather trade the extra 20 minutes I save in commuting than live where I am now. It´s wooded and very quiet (except for the person under who blasted her music every Saturday but that was resolved). The parking lot could´ve had more lighting. Also traffic was bad in the mornings (making a right turn out of the complex) because the main road is only 2-lane, particularly before 8:30AM unless you learn the "backroads". This is NOT "Post Pointe" anymore it´s "The Pointe". The property was sold to another company last summer. When they were in the process of being sold, the Post Properties management still owed me money from a referral, and they were AWFUL about giving me my money. And the leasing consultant dodged me like a bullet until after the property was sold. But I did get it in the end after consulting with Post Regional Office. Other than that, the apartment was so nice....Maybe I´ll move back. My opinion of apartments is older buildings are best. These new apartments are just thrown together over night.

a good one to live in
compared to other Post Communities, this is a small one. but i like their service and security. when things get broken, the staff really takes care of it. it´s got all the facilities... pool, gym, laundry room. nice and quiet. though i recommend a room at the ground level. i live in the basement, so moving is quite a pain.
