This is a very beautiful complex with awesome amenities. The residents are friendly, and the units themselves are nice. We frequently have maintenance issues, but usually get them resolved. I feel safe here and lucky to be a part of The Aventine.

Beautiful community with friendly staff. You have a tenant community page where you can post amongst each other. The clubhouse holds events now and again which brings the community together, (my favorite being the summer pool BBQ). The staff is also quick to respond to issues or concerns.

Too expensive for what you get, nice grounds and everything is close by.. kids riding bikes to school too dangerous on the regular side walks, a small park for kids but... there to many options in aurora. for 2,000 out the door ( 26k a year) you get an indoor pool and work out room, THAT'S IT. the pricing is so high because of lack of competition for market pricing and affordable housing. You need to make 60 k minimum to live here as a single person. Do your research there might be better gems around from private renters. once your in, it's impossible to leave, 1,000 + dollar transfer pricing to a new unit if needed, ( pricing varies) and $3000 buy out of contract. I've been here 5 years, because it's too expensive to move and nowhere to move to other than 2 apartment complexes in a 5-8 mile radius that doesn't have section 8

This place is ok. The heater for the apt units works off the hot water heater. So in the winter when you have the heater on because it's cold, you will NOT have hot water to take a shower with. The apt complex also seems to get bought out by a different company every couple years so expect changes constantly. I have lived here for 7 years & it has changed owners 3 times.

My experience is mostly Pleasant. The parking situation is never been good though. I truly believe people have more than two cars here. My neighbors upstairs are very noisy. they are up late at night and stomp around like elephants.

It has been a good experience overall, maintenance crew service is excellent but office staff is very rude. We had a very serious problem that was poorly handled by the office and at the end it was resolved by corporate. When I've requested a changing table at the bathroom in the club house (they don't have one!) they have said I can go home to change my baby's diaper! Office people is just rude and lack of customer service training

There is an unfortunate lack of respect between management and residents. Landscaping is very poor, and there is a horrible trash situation here. Apartments are nice & updated, but we pay $1200+ for an apartment under 700 sq ft. It's the most expensive complex I've seen in the area.

This apartment is overpriced for what you receive. The landscaping around the buildings is a mudpit with almost no grass. Communication is lacking and the painters hired are sloppy. Your apartment will flood at some point either from a pipe bursting or from your neighbors pipe bursting.

So far so good. There are mild complaints such as the dog poop everywhere, as well as the dog park being a bit dirty as well, but some things can't be helped. We do wish that others are more respectful on the Aventine portal rather than being harsh or too passive-aggressive and aiming towards others. Maintenance and office are very helpful and kind.

It's a nice place to live as long as you can afford it. Otherwise, some of the minor issues might be annoying, like limited parking, snow removal, and their online community website. You'll rarely hear neighbors, unless they have loud barking dogs.

Excellent service. Quiet community. Great experience. The maintenance staff responds quickly to service requests. I have had no major issues since coming here. The only challenge is the ice clean up at times. Otherwise very happy.

The Aventine's new owners have really brought this place down despite remodeling using the the funds that they fine YOU for every chance they get. An example of their pettiness: After deciding to leave The Aventine to buy a home, must husband and I gave proper notice, paid our last rent on time, cleaned our apartment thoroughly, AND had our close family move into the complex as a tenant. Not only did JVM not appreciate our recommendation, they so far as sent us a bill (already sent to COLLECTIONS) 3 months later saying that our utilities were back dated by 2 months and we still owed them money..WHAT??? Even after we filled out all of their exiting forms that had figures and amounts due...WE GET A BILL 3 MONTHS LATER that Aventine said they couldn't do anything about because it went to collections. THE SAME PLACE THAT CALLS YOU FOR ANY OTHER THING BUT WAS SOMEHOW UNABLE TO LET US KNOW THEY WERE SEEKING MORE MONEY FROM US. There are way better places to live than one that drains you every cent they can get their hands on

We've been living here for year and a half now, it's very convenient location for us. It's close to good elementary school (Nancy Young), it has a great gym we use quite often, and nice pools. Maintenance issues are usually resolved quickly. Unfortunately, new office staff doesn't seem to be very helpful or friendly....

Great apartment! Maintenance issues are fixed quickly and professionally. Nice and comfortable clubhouse and gym facility. More importantly, super friendly staff. My dog, Billy really loves to come into the rental office and hang out with staff there. Thanks a lot!!!
