Shady business practices
This place is very shady.

Make sure you get everything in writing and you get copies in triplicate if you have to deal with the women in the office.

Everything will be your fault, they donĀ“t take responsibility for anything!!

Someone needs to take them to court to line them out...everyone I talk to has a nightmare story.

Service Guarantee is worthless
AmliĀ“s "Service Guarantee" is basically false advertising. They will not complete the work in the 48 hours and if they do, they donĀ“t do it right. They will not address the issue that was reported.

It took 3 follow-upĀ“s with the front office before anyone even looked at the service request. These follows up were made in person, via phone, and fax.

The women in the office have absolutely no organization or understanding of running a business.

They will screw you over
Be prepared to pay for the mistakes of the staff, they wonĀ“t take responsiblity. If their books are wrong, which they most likely will be, you are the one at fault and will have to pay!!

The Deposit that you will pay...donĀ“t plan on getting it back, even if you return the apartment in perfect condition.

This is a shaddy complex and company all around.

I loved it!!!
I am shocked at some of the reviews that I have read. My entire experience with AMLI has been wonderful. From the time I rented while trying to deal with a horrible family change, to the instant response to help needed in my apartment, to the patience and kindness I found when my house was not ready as promised and the wonderful staff helped me work out the details of extending my time at AMLI. I finally have my own house, but the I am sad to leave a place that has been such a wonderful and happy home.

Thank you!
Nicole

Renter Beware
Stay away from this place and all Amli locations. The staff is incompetent to say the least. After getting nowhere with the local mgt office, my experience with the corporate office was a nightmare. The buildings look nice, but in donĀ“t be fooled. ItĀ“s like lipstick on a pig. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbor sneeze.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM AMLI!!
I avoid Amli at Oakhurst North at all costs. Spending an extra 200 a month someplace else is worth not having to deal with the horrible service and incompetent staff! The women in the office probably canĀ“t spell business let alone run one.
Never live here!!
I see I am not the only one who has had problems with this place, so I did find a little relief in that.

The two complaints that I have in regards to this place is cheap construction and the horrible service of the office staff. I have had so many things break since I moved in. And the women in the office will not take responsibility for anything.

Dealing with the office mgt and corporate office is sickening.

Horrible
I can not speak for all Amli locations, but if they are all like Amli at Oakhurst North, then I would stay away from the whole corporation.
The staff is the majority of the problem at this complex, they are clueless. Their corporate office is not much better.
They refuse to take responsiblity when they have made a billing error.

Save your self time and money and rent somewhere else!

I would not recommend this place
The management was rude and the "deposit" policy is misleading. I was told when I moved in that there is a $150 deposit plus a $150 "re-decorating fee". When I moved out, I expected $150 back after I cleaned the entire place, but a small spot the size of a nickle on the carpet was their reason for not giving back $150....plus they had the nerve to bill me an additional $98 for "carpet repair". After arguing with local management and the Amli corporate office, I finally gave up. This is how they make their money-by ripping off residents.
I recommend Hunters Glen down the street.

Amli at Oakhurst North has been a nightmare
I would not recommend this apartment place to anyone. If they see a Amli community, I would drive on by. The apartments are nice, the staff is the problem. You will receive the worst service along with many accounting mix ups.

Reasonable
I absolutely love my apartment. The floorplan is great, and having a washer and dryer included is awesome.

As for service, the staff in the office changes TOO OFTEN therefore resulting in somewhat poor service. Parking can sometimes suck. If you live on the first floor like I do, youĀ“ll have bugs all year except winter. If youĀ“re really lucky youĀ“ll get a mouse in the winter like I did. The fitness center only looks good. The equipment rarely works and itĀ“s too small for the community. Too often the trash is out of control since there is only one dumpster, and to make you feel real good they donĀ“t even pay for trash removal. As a matter of fact they donĀ“t pay for a single utility.

The maintenance staff is great, they always respond quickly.

Depending on the area, you can have a great living experience. I love my apartment and my neighbors. The only down side is all of the drama you have to deal with like bugs, rodents, and crappy service on occasion.

Amli At Oakhurst North
I give this complex a big fat 0. The office does not seem to be interested in your concerns. The parking stinks. They donĀ“t enforce the parking situation. Allow people to park in handicap spaces that donĀ“t belong. Allow people to park in your area to park in, therefore making you have to park at other BUILDINGS. Not enforcing pet owners to pick up after their pets. They donĀ“t clean up the trash area. Leaving it in a mess. You canĀ“t even get to the dumpster. All around a very bad place to live. Will leave here when lease is up. Will warn friends not to live here. Very high rates for very poor service.

Overall it is a fine place to live.
The windows are super thin so forget about efficient heating. The noise level is really good though we barely know we have neighbors. Parking can be bad depending on the building you live in. Forget about the fireplaces, they have three cheesy fake like flames, not worth the gas. The service is really good though.
However it really stinks when you want to go for a real swim in the "lap" pool and canĀ“t because a bunch of unsupervised kids are in the pool horsing around.
They were much better in the summer at replacing the mutt mits. They have not been refilled now in several weeks. I have to go grocery shopping just so we have bags to pick up the poo.
If you are going to rent here deal with Cynthia, she is the best one in the office!!! The maintenance staff are very helpful.
