    It has become much better since last bought by then new owners. I wish the dog park trash can were picked up more often but other than that no complaints. The apartments are worth the money and the staff is nice

      When I moved in this property was awesome and the rent was very affordable, with the time everything changed, now just you can see the changes, by the lease office looks nice (they changed roof, and numbers displayed in the property, and more led lights that's all) before the old company (Linlcon) remodels the lease office and club the after 8 months (jvm) do the same why? but there are problems by west side of the property lots of water draining in summer time, when rains you can't walk by sidewalks, the winter very slippery when snow melted, now for a 2 room, living room split with dining room, kitchen, and laundry the rent I think is expensive they need to work on those prices, but i know the jvm company is trying to keep the property in good conditions.

        I have had a few frustrations occur since I have moved in here. Dirty floors upon move-in, balcony doors with a distinctive draft, garage door being "turned off" for 24 hrs the day I got my new car, and still not having a key pad function for my garage. Without those few instances, I would be able to give this neighborhood a 5 star rating instead of a 4 star rating. I would still recommend this apartment complex to a friend, I would just warn them that frustrations here do occur from time to time.

          I love it here! A great, safe community! Very happy. My family & I have no complaints & it feels more like a house than an apartment. There are no hallways, no fear of safety! Great staff too! Dan is awesome! Everyone is great!

            So unprofessional staff. They are not responsive and often now aware of what is upcoming for maintanance. Sometime water is just shutdown without prior notices. Packages are inconsistently delivered sometimes to the delivery room sometimes to my door.

              Thank you for taking the time to post a review. My sincere apologies for your disappointment. We do send emails to all residents on upcoming projects and updated status emails when possible. The only time water is shut off without notice has been during an emergency. With the new shut off valves that were installed in the fall, this should no longer be an issue. The Luxer Package Room is new amenity, once you are registered you should be receiving notification of packages when they arrive to let you know your package has been delivered. I know that with the recent holidays and temporary staff, Amazon has not been following directions and caused some confusion with packages. Now that the holidays are over, I hope this does not continue.               It's a nice place to stay. I don't have no complaints about living here except the rodent problem. It's seem they can't resolve the situation. They continue to put traps down and it catches them but more of them keep coming.

                We love our apartment! Since day one we have enjoyed the spacious townhouse style apartment, giant master bedroom, and beautiful outdoor deck! When we first moved in we had a couple of minor maintenance issues (as to be expected when moving into a new space) and the maintenance team was so prompt and polite in fixing those issues. The neighborhood is really dog friendly and the office puts on several community events each month to get people together. We also love the clubhouse amenities such as the nice little gym and the two pools (those are a HUGE hit with my niece and nephew when they visit!). Overall we love living here and plan to stay until we buy our first home in a couple of years!

                    Not satisfied with constant issue with dog owners not picking up after their dogs. Waste is everywhere. The dog park also has issues so I am unable to use it as I would like. The clubhouse has been an issue with kids being loud and obnoxious. Garbage disposal has been changed to include a door for compactor. The door is heavy and people are just leaving garbage and not using it because they are too lazy or door to hard to use.

                      Thank you for your updated review, though I'm sorry to see you haven't been fully satisfied here at The Aventine. Please know that you're definitely not the only one who is frustrated with the dog waste and compactor issues. We expect all residents to be respectful and clean up after themselves and their pets. We have posted numerous times on ActiveBuilding about this, and may have to take more drastic measures if it doesn't get better. We are looking into other solutions, but in the meantime please let us know if you find specific residents not picking up after their pets and we will issue a fine. Please be patient as we work through this, and feel free to remind your neighbors to be courteous if you see them being disrespectful.

                        The community is safe. The streets are well lighted and maintenance request have improved. The complex is close to an excellent High school, good shopping and good restaurants . A new exercise and computer center has been added. You also have a choice of indoor and outdoor swimming.

                            Safe community and nice people that live here. The amenities are constantly being upgraded and are outstanding. In the 5 years I have been here I have not received any upgrades to our unit. Thought being here that long would entitle something. Rent has increased but nothing new in unit unless I want to pay for it in an increase in rent.

                                It took 4 months to get rid of mice. 2 months for a leaking ceiling. Currently Im at almost 3 months with a broken fireplace and I try not to put in other service request because I dont like being frustrated.

                                  Kids playground does not meet the requirements. No place for kids to play. People uses sidewalks for dogs as a toilet. Water leaks from roof when it is raining, roof needs to be fixed. Everything else good.

                                    I love the complex, and the management, both Lincoln and JVM. Only weakness seems to be the rubbish and recycling area. Repairs always done immediately. Management always attentive to needs of residents.

                                        When you have a service issue they take care of the issue right away. The Staff is helpful and friendly. Apartements are very spacey and cute. The landscaping facing Eeloa needs work. But the rest if the complex looks very nice.

                                                  I moved in August 2017. Everything has been good since I moved in. JVM is making a lot of improvements to the apartments, property, & clubhouse. They also are good at communicating when things are going to happen. Example, I received a mass email regarding the stages of the roofing project. They seem to be taking a proactive roll in improving the apartment community.
