I have been a resident for the past 4 years living in 2 Bed 2 Bath. This apartment is located in a prime location with nearby schools, shops and it is really a happening place to live. It has good amenities like swimming pool, Gym etc which makes the apartment community a nice place. On the other side, with the rents expected to raise every year on renewal, it would be nice to raise it a minimum than raising it too much for loyal resident to look for options outside forcing to leave. Also the maintenance is not good as they take a lot of time to respond to any requests. Be it a water leak in the bathroom, appliances not working they respond late and fix something temporarily which breaks off in few days and need to call again. We had a water leak in upstairs at a midnight which flowed down through our ceiling and lights, next morning they drilled a big hole through our bathroom ceiling and leave it open for "a month" now. When followed up with leasing office, we are being told everytime they fix it as soon as possible. But its been "a month" now and still it is not addressed. On the other bathroom the toilet flush was not working at same time and after continuous follow ups, we were told by leasing staff it is of least priority for them because there is another bathroom. Though the aparment community is neat and clean having good amenities, maintenance is not doing great.

Spacious great community, kids paradise
I've been living at Hurstbourne Grand Apartments for almost 10 years, and it's been fantastic. The apartment is spacious, and filled with natural light. The amenities, including the fitness center and pool, are excellent. The management team is responsive and friendly, and the location is perfect, close to shops and public transport. I highly recommend Hurstbourne Grand Apartments for anyone looking for a great place to live.

Very Poor
This place used to be a great place to live. Now with car break ins and theft you do not fill safe in your own place to live. They keep adding money to pay out, but you are not gaining anything you will lose more. No cameras up to catch the theft or vandalism of your property. The smells you must go through from all the garlic cooking, when you call the office, they ask you did you confront them? They help with nothing and ask for more money. We were told we had to pay for garbage that we already pay for. Get this now Hurstbourne pays a company to come and get your garbage and take it to the compactor that you already pay for why am I paying for this twice? We got our second garbage bill that was forced on us and now they are raising that price. Why am I paying for garbage twice? They add things to the pool to look great, but you cannot get into the pool cause of it being to cold. Why not add something to heat the pool a little instead of making residents wait until the end of the season to be able to get in with out getting a cold. The parties that get thrown on Sunday nights with the music blaring across the complex. You call the after-hours number nothing done about it. You call the office they ask did you call the police? This is in the lease that you cannot do this????? Take care of your residents and there complaints. I am sure I will see something on here to come by the leasing office and they will try and make everything better. Well you know what DO IT NOW and quit making excuses as to why things are they way they are. I dont want to hear your excuses and your lies at the leasing office. Fix the issues and you will not get reviews like this. So go in and make your great comments to push this one off the top I will keep reposting so that people will know the truth.

Very timely and genuine Support from the team
The new management of Hurstbourne grand apartment is very nice. They conduct regular program for kids and families and make us feel part of a community. The support staffs are also very quick and efficient and very polite. My microwave oven glass broke on the week of Diwali. I sent an email and immediately Kylah create a work order for this. The support team came the same day and to my surprise they mentioned that only glass needs to be replaced. I was thinking that they might replace the whole oven or might replace the door but they just replaced the glass and they charged me only for the glass price. Manager Elizabeth also communicated all the details on time and before Diwali ( just in 3-4 days) my issue was resolved. Very professional and fast service from the team.

Very Poor Service
I have a broken flush in the master bathroom that I asked leasing office to repair a month ago. I called several times and every time I was told that Maintenance is working on fixing ACs in other apartments which is of higher priority. I wonder if we have to love with a non-functional bathroom for months together! They deliberately delay these things and don’t care for customer complaints. It is a horrible apartment to live in

Security problems
I have lived here for several years. We had security that patrolled the area when I first moved in. Since security has been let go we have had multiple car break ins, a shooting, a stabbing, people urinating in the parking lots, and maintenance rarely replys or fixes issues in a timely manner. It’s so sad, because when we first moved in it was a nice complex, convenient location, and we felt safe. Unfortunately, that’s not the current situation.

Staff is very very rude, staff does not know how to deal with the people. For a simple maintenance request it takes more than a week and until you call them at least 10 times nothing gets done. Management sends threating emails that they will remove the bike from the bike stand and also says bikes cannot be kept in the patio. is the management thinking everyone will keep the bike on their living room. Funniest thing is they don't have cameras to monitor the car breakings, but have installed camera on the trash area to monitor what is being put in the trash.

I really have enjoyed my experience so far with hurstbourne. the office staff is nice and the amenities are great. the pool was even open longer this year which we really enjoyed! happy overall with the experience.

Area wise it’s good .. but it’s not good idea to get in these apparents .. these are very old and u can find squarels making noises inside the roof that u can hear from bedroom .. closets doors r coming out of the wall when u open with little force bcz they often stuck when u open it .. there would be no medium or big storage closet or storage space when u go for laundry hookups , and they rent very old laundry appliances they starts moving around with loud vibrating noise while using , About the apartments : Few apartments are quite good they surrounds the leasing office but same issues repeats as I said above. but about road noice it’s very higher where the apartments located road side .. very noisy with vehicles moving sound . Abt the staff: They are very rude if u question them anything and it’s starts with the manager itself her name mayo or meyo ., her behavior towards her questioned residents very rude seems like she z renting apartments for free . whole staff started behaving so cheap starts like taking out all soft drinks took out from fridges and emptied coffee machines which they used to keep it for residents earlier.. now they don’t allow to give free printouts not more 10 papers,, and every print out we need go and ask for a paper she runs with 3 count paper every time we ask and counts then until 10 per residents ..; And they closes clubhouse at 5:50 pm when it actually 6 pm and they rush the residents out forcibly after 5:40 pm and they don’t even spare residents not even one minute after 5:50 pm .. of u stay until 6 pm inside the clubhouse the manager itself come and tell just leave and we won’t let u in to the clubhouse next time if u stay one minute after 6 pm .. no more curtesy about their residents.. u feel humiliated by them .. kind of they have racial issues Abt maintenance: They never be on time it will take months to resolve for non urgent issues .. and they come when ever they want with out notifing us , We wanted to vacate current apartment but since it’s the painful thing for packing and moving out .. hopefully we vacate before my lease ending

The staff are all so helpful and the maintenance people take good care and provide good service. There is always available parking. This is a very nice place to live and the building is well taken care of.

I am staying here from past 3 years I am seeing worst experience after it’s owned by NTS worst management no one will respond properly they do lot of fines while moving out and especially if you are using the property if it has any issues though it’s not physical damage they say you have to pay for it Please don’t come to these apartments unless you have school district dependency Worst Management & every wear and tear damage they considered as damage and charged to the tenant Today also they charged me for patio mess which was broken before i came in at the bottom which i haven't scene at that time but my kid went in and out with it broken little bit more but they are charging us for that too & we don't know when they replaced it and how old it was but still they are charging us if you want to stay here please keep 1000 bugs to payback while you move out

There has been issues with the old fridge door handle since last 3 years, every time it breaks, they have replaced the fridge door handle. And there has been issues with taps that have broken and they have replaced it for free. But this time they want us to pay few hundred dollars for the fridge door replacement. Not sure if its going to be a rough time going forward with the new management.

This community is absolutely stunning. The landscaping is top notch and the amenities are immaculate. Hurstbourne Grand puts a lot of effort into their property and it shows! Best Louisville has for sure

I thoroughly enjoy my time at hurstbourne grand. The complex is in the perfect location right off of Hurstbourne and Shelbyville. Office staff is always friendly and maintenance resolves any problems very quickly

Hurstbourne Grand is the perfect apartment complex. The interiors are just right and the whole property itself is beautiful. Office staff are personable and extremely helpful. Being right near the malls and all of the spots on Hurstbourne Ln really seal the deal.

If I ever move back to Kentucky, I will definitely be returning as a hurstbourne Grand resident. It's safe, in a great area of town, and the staff is super helpful. Tons of area to walk around and they're pet friendly

Hurstbourne Grand is great! I am very impressed with the professional leasing staff. The pool and gym are beautiful. They did a food truck the other week that was really good, and i cant wait for the next one.

We lost our kids bike last week in apartment area. Informated the same to the leasing office, they said that they will check with maintenance but no response after that. I have called them 4 times.. Or someone stolen our kids bike. We don't have bike rack in our apartment area. We/kids need to walk 250 meters from our apartment for bike rack which is near to the tennis court. Or otherwise I need to bring the bikes up and down from my apartment (it's in first floor). It's really hard to place inside apartment.

What a Great place to live!! The apartments are Beautiful, the grounds were neat and clean, grass well taken care of. The office staff were very polite and nice, answered all my questions and were very informative. I would definitely live there again if I ever move back to Kentucky!

I had a wonderful tour here. I am moving to the area in September, and it has been difficult to apartment search during this time. I felt welcome and safe while taking a tour of this community. The staff is excellent, and I was very pleased with the apartments and maintenance/upkeep of Hurtsbourne Grand. It is at the top of my list for my new home.

Beautiful property and friendly staff! They have free beverages and Starbucks in the office for all residents and people visiting. So nice! They also have a business center available and a cool office and feels welcoming.

It's so nice to move into what you think is going to be a nice place to live and have to deal with people peeing in the parking lot and partying at all parts of the night. Not to mention, the office staff will lie and promise things they can't deliver. I'm not going into detail, but if you have the option to live in another location...Take it. I literally just watched two drunk people walk out of my building and pee in the parking lot. Gross! I expected more for what I pay in rent to live here.
