Horrible property manager. They will milk you when you are about to vacate. They charge hefty fines for normal use. I have a 900$ bill which I am disputing. The property manager does not listen to my side of the argument, just threatens that they would go to collection agency immediately. Rats, rodents, roaches infested. Basement floods all the time. They never compensate for any of the flossing damages or the rats and roaches. Stay away from this place if you can.

Very Bad !!! If I had an option to give 0 stars or negative I would have done that!! Worst place in the entire Louisville to stay!! They would charge you insanely ridiculous amount as rent and let you stay with the roaches for months. Their Basement is leaking and is full of roaches. Their OPC team would come and treat the apt for months yet the root cause would not be treated and you would be forced to live with your little ones in the most unhygienic and pathetic conditions. The highlight is they will waive off some $200 from your already high rent and then charge you some ridiculous amount when you move out saying lame reasons. They ask us to pay $75 for the sink chip off that was numerous times addressed to the maintenance team while we lived in there.Then they charge us additional for replacing the cooktop for normal wear and tear. We had to literally trash all the items in the basement becoz all the stuff were infested with Roaches and we had no way but to discard it all. And don't leave any belongings out side of your house (Not even at the designated bike parking area, alot of theft activity around. When reported to management, they will simply say to report to police or claim through your Renters insurance. No security Cams or security at all. Money is all what they want. Outrageous move out statement bills. Good luck to all the tenants living there !! The Property manager and maintenance staff are pretty rude and just play around with words regarding the move out charge. We literally repainted the apartment and had a cleaner clean every part of the apartment and they found a reason to charge us on the cooktop and the sink chip off. They are literally demanding $700 for replacing the cooktop that is working fine and not even damaged !!! The back 2 cooktops on those are not even used and they say they need to replace it and are deducting the amount from our $1180 deposit that we already paid. The property manager talks to us as if she did a great favor on us by waiving off the $200 for the roaches issue. Very Disappointed and hope this review gets noticed and we get some relief from this stressful situation.

Spacious, Friendly staff. But, little Costly.... Apartments here are Spacious, clean and well maintained. Maintenance and Leasing office staff is very friendly and they responds to maintenance requests quickly. but rent is more as compared to others.

Some of the most spacious apartments around Louisville, I think, with a friendly and responsive staff. Also quite a bit of wildlife around the attractive and secluded courtyards and handy gas grilles. I have lived there off and on about 8 1/2 years since 1998.

Moved to Louisville from New York - looked at several apartments and must say I'm glad Hurstbourne Grand was my first choice. It's been 8 months and I have no complaints. The leasing office staff(Tori) is very friendly, professional and was a great help when I first moved in. Hurstbourne Grand has all amenities and enough space for my kids to play. The club house is a BIG plus with a coffee bar, computer room and a conference room. The location is also a BIG plus - you are near to everything whichever way you drive…everything. I definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment especially if you are new to Louisville KY. EV

It's a safe friendly apartment community. We love it. Close to work, school and shopping. Staff is very friendly. Pool is amazing. Couldn't ask for a better place. I would recommend this place to anyone. Jennifer Morgan

The staff and maintenance crew are excellent. If and when an issue may arise it is resolved quickly and efficiently. There is ample parking and minimum security issues. The grounds are meticulously maintained. Cleo Bowen (16 year resident)

I love this community because they take care of our problems at apartment. They are responsive to the situation,which keeps us happy. I recommend this place to friend. They suppose to provide more security in case of repeated car damages in the car parking area, i am sure staff came up with new plans to prevent this to happen again. thanks and regards Vishwanath B

I love this community because the staff is too friendly and they are approachable. Everything is organized manner and every good maintenance (they provide the services 24/7 in case of any emergency). Resident satisfaction is main motive of hurstbourne staff. Apartments at this community are spacious and has a good lawn for kids (playing) and good parking facility.This community conduct many events and encourage the residents to participate . If anyone ask me which are best apartments. I would recommend/ suggest them to go for Hurstbourne Grand Apartments.

We are currently residing in Hurstborne grand apatrments.The ambience and neighborhood is very lively and secured.Our daughter goes to Lowe elementary school which is very close to it.The maintainence and office staff are very cooperative.Great place to live !!!!

Please note this is a VERY preliminary report as we have just moved in and because we have just moved in not everything is open due to seasonal restrictions OFFICE Very courteous and friendly but also very conscious of the in-laws. Tori especially was very helpful and went above and beyond from first contact to lease signing CLUB HOUSE Open evenings and weekends has a TV area, kitchenette (with free Starbucks mind you), computer room and a mini board room FITNESS Loads of options. There are paved walking paths, a fitness room with a weight stack, free weights and cardio equipment and 2 lit tennis courts. POOL DECK This one is a little curly because its October and its closed. Looks nice though with a large pool, lots of seating, some barbecues for outdoor dining and a table tennis table. MAINTENANCE As always the more you can do yourself the happier you will be but for those things you can't (or shouldn't ) do yourself the maintenance folks seem fairly prompt and on the ball THE APARTMENT Very clean, very spacious and just a joy to live in. Our last place I had to sleep with one eye open here with a security door and triple lock front door both are very much closed. Our apartment did have one quirky feature. No fixed lighting source in the bedrooms or the living room, but there was a light switch. Turns out the switch runs an outlet so if you get a wall mount light fixture and a cheap extension from Walmart and wire them together then plug it voila you have a fixed light source. Similarly on your patio OVERALL IMPRESSION We are impressed and very satisfied with our choice. It is North of 64 but South of Westport and close enough to East of Hurstbourne to put it in the right area of town It is in the Eastern High School resides area (Crosby Middle too I believe). Everything looks nice and is well maintained and my family gets free Starbucks each morning. We look forward to a long stay here

Nice community and very good staff. Nice gym and swimming pool. Very well maintained tennis court. community provides the tools for bicycle repair which is cool and does helps. Pets are allowed but pets owner are making sure they are not making trouble to others.

I cannot say enough good things about this place!! The staff is amazing. The maintenance is almost instantaneous. I've never had to wait more than 12 hours for any repairs or maintainance. The grounds and landscaping are absolutely gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and made our leasing process a breeze. Our second lease started this month. Also, these apartments offer the most square footage for the price. Our 1 bedroom is 1,075, bigger than most competitors in the area. Love love love this place!!!

I have live in this complex for 3 years now and up until recently have enjoyed. The staff is great, but the neighborhood is going down hill because of all the noise from the kids who are not supervised and kids everywhere on bikes (riding in middle of street), and the smells. Forget about going swimming, unless you want to be in a pool with people in their street clothes, although the rules says no street clothes it's not enforced AT ALL! Would love to stay but I'm looking to is enough

Very courteous friendly leasing office staff. Swift maintenance. Well maintained secured community. Very big and spacious flat. Well located at Heart of the city. This is the only and best apartments for ------- to rent. This place is a little India. Lot of gatherings almost every weekend. If i stay in Louisville i stay here only. --- Raghu, Apt#3, 9002, Marks field road.

My wife and I have been here for about a year and absolutely love it here. The apartments are spacious and nice and everyone we have interacted with (both staff and residents) have been great. Anytime we have a maintenance request it is either fixed that day or the next, which has been absolutely awesome. I can't recommend this place enough.

I love where I live. My 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment is bigger than many two or three bedroom units at other places. Office staff has always been amazing. I have had two or three service requests in four years and the friendly service guys are here the same day, if not the same hour. Not much service needed because regular routine maintenance is done 2-3 times a year. I do think it's about time for some upgrading of the flooring. Hardwood-like flooring is needed desperately!! It's impossible to keep this cheap beige carpet least for me!

I wanted to write since last of years but keep missing it so sorry Hurstourne Grand and Thank You for your awesome hospitility. We are resident since last 4 plus years and i have nothing but praises. Property manager & staff is highly professional , friendly and accomodative. Couple of times we called on bussiness hours , late in afternoon for some request and they always do their best. Another thing , I strongly feel is that , they promote diversity and celebrate culture of others. Neighborhood is highly safe and other fellow residents are nice & friendly. In true words, it would be a hard decision for me to move on from this place. Few othings that i wish can change is 1) wodden floors 2) options for covered parking 3) colorful walls :) Thank you dear friend for making us feel home and safe every single minute and THAT IS BEYOND anything.

I have spent 5 miserable months here. The apartments are primarily leased to people from a particular country outside the US. These people are heavy smokers and thus, be ready to smell HEAVY smoke constantly- when you use your deck, open your sliding glass door, and in the public access area to your apartment. When you open your apartment door, it will rush in. These people also have a different idea about how children should behave. The children run around unattended with no parents in sight. Don't expect to go to sleep before 12 or 1 AM. Children run from one apartment to another, slamming doors and squealing. They play in their parent's cars opening and closing the car doors, banging them into the cars parked beside theirs and playing with the car horns. During the late evening hours, they play with the key fobs, listening to the car alarm and horn. They play kickball in the parking lot, hitting the parked cars with the ball. Don't plan to relax by the pool, it is constantly filled with 50-60 screaming children whose parents are no where around. I recommend looking elsewhere if you have a job that requires you to sleep at night and if you value relaxation and fresh air.

The staff have been nothing but professional. I am very pleased with the condition of the apartment and the grounds. I also feel the complex is very safe. I give the overall rating of '3' stars due to two things: (1)the lack of recycling (this is 2015, everyone should be recycling) and the fact that I have to put my trash in the car and take it to the one trash compactor and (2) the lack of bicycle racks. Many people prefer to bicycle rather than drive and it is not fun carrying an adult bicycle up the steps to my second floor apartment. Overall, a great place thus far.

We just went in to have a place while we were building a new house . The staff has been very helpful and responsive to any maintenance request or in general questions. The apartment is quite large at 1700 ft.² for apartment living . We even had enough room with the cage storage in the basement that we didn't have to rent and separate storage area for our stuff . The pool is nice and clean and great especially for kids . It seems to be a very friendly community . The only downside is that they are little bit older units but I think the maintenance staff has done a lot of work to try and keep them up. We've actually been very pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoy The apartment so far

My wife and I have leaved here right at a year and just signed a new year lease. This is a wonderful place to live. The grounds are maintained and well kept. All the office staff are very friendly, every time I stop by they are always courteous, call me by name some times I have my little dog with me and they always speak and play with him. They make me feel like a person not just a renter. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone. The apartment's are very spacious, well maintained. If there is a problem it is taken care of quickly and professionally. We looked at many other apartment complexes before we chose Hurstbourne Grand and we feel we made the best choice. So if your looking for an apartment in Louisville please check Hurstbourne Grand, you'll be glad you did!!
