I've so enjoyed living here over past year plus. Not only have I gotten to know other people in the surrounding blairs buildings and meet new friends, but I've been able to go to events and do different things like a flower arranging workshop and get a free herb planter during Earth Month. I also compost, and I've never heard of apartments doing that before. The maintenance team is friendly and respectful, and my apartment is definitely the nicest I've ever lived in. I can hear my neighbors sometimes when I am in the hallway, but very rarely once inside my apartment. Never thought I'd get so much out of living here. This is more than just a hi rise i mean, even the mailman comes to the christmas party!

Love the blairs. I love coming home to Cheryl and Carlene and Rafael. Security, maintenance, and leasing office folks have always been courteous and nice to have around. My apartment is spacious and sunny. The gym and new outdoor space are great. My neighbors are nice. The water is very hot/cold which is nice. Some neighbors play really really loud music, and sometimes really loud music in the terrace comes up to my apartment and is annoying.

Mostly positive sinc I've been 13 yrs I've been here. The one has no I would love to see is double pan windows installed to make the buildings more efficient but hat doesn't appear to likely occur. The recent addition of the Pearl to the grounds will be interesting to see what updates to the older units like Blair Plaza other than what they're done to the lobby areas.

Mostly positive and would definitely recommend Blair House to others. Some issues with noisy neighbors from time to time but apartment living is community living so there is some give and take. But overall it's been a good living experience.

This was a nice place to live until recently. Not sure if there is new management but if that is the problem then they need to go now. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Wait, maybe I would! If you are thinking about renting here, DON'T make that mistake. There are so many other better options out there. I know I will be doing my best to warn away anyone thinking of making the mistake of living here.

Very, very nice community. I've lived here 17 years, and the community has grown for the better. Quiet, clean, diverse, and affordable. Great area to live as a single or person with family. Lots to do in the community, and environmentally friendly.

The Blairs are very responsive to resident needs. They offer a variety of activities to support resident interests and are constantly changing their activities. I honestly wish I had time to participate in everything.

Not bad. Location is great (especially for seniors/handicap residents) but rent keeps going up. It seems management is trying to get yuppie/younger-type of renters rather than long-timers. Would recommend for a short-time/stop-gap.

please put security cameras in the stairwells & hallways of each community building. Have an residents appreciation day with some giveaways (gieftcard, etc). make more parking spaces. lower parking spaces prices

A great management company to rent from. Timely in maintenance requests and maintain clean building community areas. Friendly neighbors. Quiet apartments (as long as you keep the windows closed). Great community living.

It was good living her at first but things have changed. I believe new management has taken over. Building security has become lax. Constant noise. Just because you throw in a couple of recycling bins doesn't make the building environmentally friendly. Just a marketing plow to get people in the door. Planning to relocate once my lease is up. Blair House or Towns is the better of the Blair buildings.

The Blairs has been going through major changes recently. New management has taken over. The advertising of an "environment stable" facility is bogus. There is no real initiative of being environmental green here. It's just a marketing ploy to get people in. Very noisy and people coming in and out at all times of the day some without proper security access. My neighbor stated there has been a rash of burglaries around the premises. Renters beware. I think Blairs House or Towns would be a better option.

Used to be a pleasant apartment building and area but crime has increased drastically in the past two months. Multple breakins, robberies and even a murder. Be wary about Blair Plaza, Blair East and House. Also prices have been doing up substantially. I would look elae where...lenoz park, summit hills, even the veridian.

Everyone is very nice, always an event going on. I enjoy the yoga and zumba classes, however I wish they were offered more. I did wish there was small washer and dryer units in the apartments, but the floors ones are always clean.

I like living here. It is a good place to live. I'm not entirely sold on the mandatory 200 character minimum for these comment boxes. I feel like it's just forcing me to go through the motions, you know? A quota of typed characters isn't the best way to get my true feelings out.

The prices have increased too much. Parking is too expensive. Aside from that I find the staff helpful and friendly. The apartment is cheery and gets a lot of light. Blair plaza is in good condition but I felt mislead during move in. I was told the elevator was a cargo elevator but it is not.

The Blairs are really nice apartments. The staff are all very friendly. Maintenance always comes within 24 hours of your request. The Blairs are about as close the metro as you can get. It very easy walking access to downtown Silver Spring as well. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my living situation here, and will not move unless I have a major life event change.

I've just lived at this place for two weeks, and so far everything is great. My room faces south and always gets plenty of sunshine during the daytime; the common area is always clean, even the trash room; the staff are nice; and I love that my apartment is close to everything... The rent is a little high though, but I rather pay more and live at a place I love.

For the first 6 years all was very nice and very community oriented and it felt like home. In the last nearly 2 years- cost has gone up and there are things here on this campus that are not anything I want to pay for. There was no survey that I know of to learn what the residents wanted...

I lived in the towers and moved to Blair House, I'm very happy with that move and like the security of the building. The people working at the front desk are always friendly and happy to help answer any questions I have.

I had a great experiment so far. The community is fancy, neighbors are friendly, and even there are lots of dogs, the environment is clean and pleasant. I like all the activities Blairs hold occasionally. And the life spirit they demonstrate.

Great place to live, with many opportunities to develop relationships with your neighbors to get that sense of community. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. One change I would suggest, give us access to the hardwood flooring instead of the standard beige carpets.

It's been mostly positive. We like the location and some of the amenities are nice. There's been a lot of construction on the property as well, which is difficult for someone who telecommutes a lot. There was a pretty steep price jump once we decided to stay for a 2nd year too.

I don't think that there is anything that stands out as exceptional during my time here thus far. The staff is great but every thing else is average, especially because of all the new buildings opening.
