I lived here shortly after graduating form EMU while i was working in Ann Arbor. The community is nice, well-kept, and quiet. It was the perfect location for working in Ann Arbor. The commute wasn't bad at all as the location is right by the highway. So convenient. I ended up moving to Grand Rapids for work, but I would still be living here if it weren't for that!

Trilogy is truly one of the best communities in Michigan and certainly the best in Detroit Metro. You will find complaints, like anywhere but when you add it all up, safety, proximity to highways, value for money spent, and working staff members who truly care, Trilogy is second to none... Christine, and Stephanie are truly cornerstones of this office always smiling and truly looking out for residents. Sam, Josh and JR are always making sure stuff is up to date in maintenance as well.

If you think the clubhouse is an indication of what the apartment experience will be like during your lease, think again. Virtually all their effort/money seems like it goes into the clubhouse to get people to sign leases. Once you sign your lease, do not expect to talk to anyone again unless your rent is late and they are calling to collect it plus a fee. The apartments do not match up to the other local complexes in the area. Laundry is not included in most units, nor is heat(which is an area standard when you compare it to Southport or Westlake) This means you're constantly digging in your car for quarters or going to a bank to do laundry. Also, good luck on the coin flip of whether or not your apartment entry way ends up smelling like a Snoop Dogg concert. Maintenance requests are next to useless. Unless your issue falls under the emergency request criteria, basically don't expect anything. Save your time and go to Home Depot and attempt to fix it yourself because they will never respond to maintenance requests. Furnaces were made in 1985 and are not maintained at all. Air conditioning is next to useless. If you do decide to tour the actual unit you're interested in, check out the furnace access door and open it up.If you're lucky, maybe it will only have one or two of the following: Cigar/cigarette butts laying all over, dust, disgusting $2 filter that likely hasn't been changed in years, extra piping, screws everywhere. Maybe I was unlucky, but I won the jackpot with all the above. The gym is nice, but good luck using it when the 24 hour access door has been broken for it seems like weeks now. I just don't see why they have such an issue maintaining the quality when they charge for laundry and heat, when Southport and Westlake can apparently hold higher standards while having included heat/laundry. It's likely because Southport/Westlake are retention based(keep people happy and have them renew leases) while Trilogy just tries to get people in the door to put up with their renovations, lack of communication, and below average amenities for 12 months, then grab the next unsuspecting future tenant and show them around the clubhouse/pool/gym for 30 minutes as an illusion as to how great the complex is.

I am pleased with the community, my husband and I have lived here for 8 years. We love the office staff, and the maintenance team is very helpful and friendly. Sam and Eddie from maintenance are great - as well as Stefanie, Josh and Caitlin in the office. The community is nice and they have wonderful amenities - we love the coffee bar and exercise room the most!

Bad News, from what I have been told they appear a fire hazard. A lot of fires take place there due to electrical, stoves and hot water tanks in which they try to blame the tenants. Dangerous, far to many, A coincidence, I guess yeah right. You would think that they would know that someone life more important than a insurance claim The apartments get repaired at the cost of insurance money but the tenant is out when they could have easily fixed the problem. they have more apartments that are in need of repairs so unless you are moving in one that has been renovated don't move in it " fire hazard and they know it " check with the fire department and see how many apartment fires there has been first. someone should call the insurance commissioner and housing authority I am just saying proceed with caution

Needs some bigger maintenance projects think electrical at least in my apt needs work and new linoleum community is quiet though whenever here. neighborhood is freindly. has plenty of commodities. Pool not to expensive staff might need a little work on knowing what there selling though or at least some of them. For instance unsure if can use covered parking because was never brought up in the lease. Overall I like it here though.

The rooms are spacious and are for a great rate. Plenty of space for two people. Bathrooms are updated very well. Kitchen floor and appliances are good. Cabinets could use some updating. Laundry facilities in every building are useful, $1.25 per load isn't too pricey either. Would recommend installing an ATM and change machine, at the minimum a change machine. It's inconvenient running and getting change then coming back. Overall, I like my stay at the Trilogy.

Looking for an apartment on short notice and stumbled upon this place. This is a huge upgrade from the places I have lived before. The entire apartment had been renovated before we moved in. Maintenance has always responded quickly and efficiently to our very few requests. The neighborhood can be a little noisy and there was an issue with a late night disturbance once. But that is to be expected in all apartment complexes I feel. All in all, great place to live.

Compare to the apartments I lived at before this place is amazing. It's a little pricier but the residents and staff have all been wonderful and there is a lot to offer here that most apartments don't have.

This complex recently got some upgrades which are great; club house with fitness center, new pool, movie theatre, complimentary coffee be pastries, and doggie poop trash bins. As for office staff, they seem to be a bit unorganized. They were changing management throughout my time living here, and things definitely slipped through the cracks and there were errors made. They were helpful in fixing those errors however. One of my favorite aspects about living at Trilogy is the maintenance staff! They are quick and professional. If you ever need assistance from maintenenace, I would always recommend asking for Sam. He is by far my favorite, extrememlt knowledgeable and helpful. He goes above and beyond and has always been really relatable! Overall these apartments are pretty decent. The location is minutes away from basically everything you'd need, and there is a lot of lawn and greenery surrounding the buildings that you can spend your time relaxing or waking around in. Since they have completed construction for the new upgrades, I think these apartments have become more premium and valuable.

Where do I start.. the apartments cosmetic appearance is nice but there are some issues. The pipes creak and crack when water in the bathrooms are turned on and we seem to have ant issues during the warmer months. We sprayed peppermint soap around and it seemed to help. They have painted the balcony, outside of the building ,and installed new intercom system so thats a plus. The new clubhouse and pool are a nice touch. However, with the huge increase in rent it is not worth it at all. You have to advocate for yourself here or things will not get done. Also let's not forget we did not have water for about two whole days without notice. I had to get up at the crack of dawn to shower elsewhere before work. I don't appreciate the rude staff most of the staff won't even make eye contact with you especially Ron he is beyond disrespectful. I've never seen someone post a big notice (that everyone can see) about past due rent on a door (on someone else's door not mine). he will cut you off when you speak, (maybe it's a sexist thing ..i'm unsure). Mark the leasing agent is a scam as well (makes promises he does not keep). The maintenance used to be horrible but now a new company is in place and they are not so bad. They do attempt to keep the grounds clean. With better customer service, this place would be much better but the price continues to be increased. In terms of laundry there is typically one washer and dryer per 12 units (the entire building) and the washer broke and would leave your clothes drenched and your money was taken. The machines were not fixed for months. After the first " repair" I tried using the machine and came back to find the machine smoking.

I have lived here for 2 years. When i came to visit before new management took over. It was great, and affordable. Most of all quiet. Over my head, I have a neighbor who it sounds like are having a wwe match everynight. I have complained and its just getting worse! 4th of July weekend, I had a leak in my bathroom, fecal water, is leaking over my toilet. I have called maintnance several times. When he showed up, he looked at the spot where I said the leak was, and said he doesnt see anything and left. The next day, having been gone all day, I came back home to my entire floor was covered with water, and I had to put a bucket over my toilet. I have ONE bathroom and cant even use that. It's horrible. I called maintnance shortly before this review, and he told me he'll ship my complaint off.... what?! I cant wait until my lease is up. I'm disappointed about my rent being raised to build a New clubhouse but not to keep my apartment together.

I have been looking for a new place to live and recently toured Trilogy. In short, the place definitely moved to the top of my list! The management staff and employees working in the leasing office were very friendly and helpful, giving me a full tour and rundown of the place. Trilogy is currently undergoing a full renovation of its complex, upgrading every unit on the property. I toured their model unit and was more than pleased. The rooms were very spacious and relaxing, creating a very comfortable living environment. They are putting new flooring into every unit, and are upgrading each kitchen and bathroom in the complex. They are renovating the hallways and entryways to each building, making the whole place a lot nicer than before. When the renovations are complete, the place will look a lot better than it currently does! I met a few of the maintenance staff members, who seemed very friendly and willing to help when called upon. Trilogy has a nice pool and clubhouse, and I saw a lot of people walking their dogs outside. There were people landscaping the grounds when I was there, making the complex more visually appealing. All in all, I would definitely suggest checking the place out. Seems like a great place to live!

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!! I have lived here for 2 years, moved in before Trilogy took over, thats is when things went to hell. DO NOT LIVE HERE!! there are hundred of apartments in the area that are better managed, better maintained, and all around nicer. the management is more like a slum lord, --- especially (extremely rude and unprofessional). they have raised my rent twice since trilogy took over, and plan to raise it again. was a great place to live until new Management (Trilogy) took over, this place is by far the worst place i have ever lived and if i can spare anyone the headache of living here i will. not to mention that management will call you the second you miss payment or to let you know that they are raising your rate, but good luck getting a hold of them for anything else. -High crime rate -terrible management -god awful maintenance (don't even bother calling) -disgusting Apartments -paper walls -dirty grounds -litter everwhere -stray animals -expensive laundry machines that do not work (about $6.25 for a load full dried) I could list more but i think you get the point DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!

I lived here since August 2014. Since the management change from Slatkin to Trilogy, the service has taken a huge nose dive. The people in the front office are horrible, they take a long time to respond to requests, especially maintenance. The maintenance people don't really fix things even though they say they do. The crime has gone up ever since the new management took over. I don't recommend living here, I would suggest moving to the province of Harbor club or Lakeshore Apartments. I've had problems with my air conditioner since last year and the maintenance people still haven't fixed it yet.
