It's been great moving in Rose Vista. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. It's a great location near the both cities on either side. State fair grounds is walking distance from apartments. Employees have been extremely nice and helpful.

Apartment is clean and appears to have new carpet and pluming in the kitchen. Staff seems a bit scattered and unorganized, assistant manager forgot two appointments we had made for showing and lease signing. Apartment is nice and would recommend, but warn about management.

It was an alright place to live right away when Keisha and the first Kathy were there. They were really nice and helpful, however as both of them left this place turned into a dumpster fire. I lived here for nearly three years. When I moved out, I clean up the place extremely nice! Took pictures, everything seemed legit. When I moved, I never received a bill for anything. And than BAMM! The most aggressive, rude collection agency ever started to harass me, HUNTER WARFIELD. I never received a bill from Rose Vista, yet they send this maniac collection agency after me for $1700?!?!? I ended up biting the bullet and paying SOME of the collection just so it would not go on my credit report. Beware of the Goodman Group and Rose Vista, fake nice, scam artist!!! Go somewhere else!

The Rose Vista staff is truly incredible. I have never lived in an apartment complex that treats its tenants as good as they do. The maintenance is fast and available 24 hours every day. They also have great front desk hours and amazing staff. As someone who works a lot during the day, its great to have an office that is open until 7 pm on certain days and will even go the extra mile and take packages to your door upon request. I recently transferred buildings within the complex and the managing staff made everything so easy and answered every question I had. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment in this area!

I live in the townhomes at Rose Vista. The grounds are nice and the sidewalks are always kept up with. My kids really enjoy the on site playground. Kitchen on the small side, but we make it work. We enjoy the staff a lot and feel appreciated.

I have lived in the Rose Vista community for two years and would recommend it wholeheartedly. My building is quiet and friendly, and most tenants are on a first-name basis. My apartment (a two-bedroom lower level) is a roomy place to live and well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped in the summer and snow removal is prompt in the winter. The office staff is very helpful and welcoming. On-site maintenance staff are also friendly, and infrequent maintenance reports are handled most promptly! The neighborhood itself is wonderful--a myriad of groceries, restaurants, malls, shops, a library, and highway accessibility is all within a 5-minute drive.

The property here is very well kept and the maintenance staff is quick to address any requests. The location is also awesome and quick to get to both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul.

(1) if you like flies, come here! I have spent 5 days with more than 20 flies coming into my apartment when my screen windows were closed every day. I called the maintenance but they didn't come to check until 5 days later. I called the management office, but a person called "Cathy" said "why don't other people have flies???" This is so unfriendly. After many days, they changed the screen windows, and the flies were gone. It is proven there are something wrong with their screen windows. This is my most disgusting experience, did anyone spend time with 20 flies every day??? (2)Noise. One day, at 7:45am, there was huge maintenance vehicle making HUGE noise under my window and the noise has lasted for half an hour. I called the management office and someone called "Cathy" said "it is not sleeping time, there is nothing we can do about." (3)Guest car can't be parked in the apartment parking zones after 6pm at night. If your friend comes to stay at your place at night, he/she have to park very far away. (4) If you want help, call Lauren who is more much friendly than Cathy. (5) Generally it is an old building, there is no AC which can make it warmer. (6) My contract is over next summer and will keep posting good/bad things if something happens.

My issues with the apartment stems fully from the office staff. The apartments themselves are nice, the grounds are well kept and there was usually close parking. The building is also near shopping and restaurants which I liked. The office staff is mediocre at best. While living there I put in several noise complaints which were addressed but never solved. The office has a habit of making rules that they then don't enforce, such as resident only parking after 7pm. Since the office closes at 6 they never had a way to tell when non residents parked in the lot, which occasionally meant that I had to park elsewhere since the lot was full. The main issue comes from after I moved out. We got a bill for cleaning and carpet replacement which said we owed quite a bit, in addition to them keeping our deposit. I tried to talk to the apt about it and was met with hostility and was accused of lying about keeping a pet there. I asked for pictures of the cleaning issues, which they were unable to product. I was told to either pay or it would be turned over to a collections agency. I'm disappointed in how this was handled on their part and feel that they just wanted to make money off of us. They included several things we weren't told to clean, such as a vent on the fridge or behind the stove, and then charged us 50-100$ for cleaning the items.

My husband and I moved into Rose Vista in 2012 intending to only stay as long as the term of our initial lease, which was 12 months. Since then we have signed another lease as well as moved into one of the larger town-homes within the apartment community. Some of our favorite things about Rose Vista are the clean and well-maintained grounds (during the winter the sidewalks are always kept clear, in spring flowers are planted and in summer the lawn is always kept mowed and is overall visually appealing, the pool is kept clean), newly renovated apartments, wonderful office staff and maintenance crew, and the close proximity to many shopping centers, parks, and local attractions. Of these, I want to put the most emphasis on the office and maintenance staff; on the few occasions we have had a complaint, it is addressed and remedied immediately. They are always quick with a smile and offer a pleasant greeting when they see you around the community, and it definitely makes you feel like a valued resident. I would recommend Rose Vista to anyone looking for a new place to call home, as we have very much enjoyed making it ours!

My boyfriend and I love Rose Vista Apartments. The staff is nice and caring. So far have not had any issues. The apartments are in a great location, so close to everything including a grocery store, movie theater, shopping malls, and lots of restaurants. Rose Vista just remodeled the inside of the apartments and it looks very good. I am glad to be a Rose Vista resident.

Before I moved up to Roseville, my fiance and I were having trouble finding a place to live. After contacting Rose Vista, they were nothing but helpful in helping us make a decision. Before we even stepped on the grounds they went above and beyond to make moving up from Iowa a whole lot easier. Since moving up here, they continue to show us how important and valued their tenants are. The halls were recently repainted and re-carpeted and they look really nice. On-site maintenance makes getting problems fixed quick. Also, with an on-site fitness room, getting a work out in is really easy. Finally, along with a professional relationship, Rose Vista continues to strive for a personal relationship with their tenants. From the help we received before even signing anything to a birthday card, Rose Vista has shown us exceptional service and continue to make the complex feel like home. We feel we were really lucky to have found such a complex before we made our big move and are definitely satisfied tenants!

Don't live here. A couple of people changed in the main office, and things have gone to ----. They have started treating the tenants like Kindergartners. A couple of people kept wearing salty shoes into the gym, and so they cut gym hours and access for EVERYONE instead of reprimanding the few troublemakers. The took away the dumpsters from a large bank of apartments/townhomes because they were overflowing with trash, and moved them to a further away location. Temperatures have been consistently below 0degrees, and very icy lately - this is more than an inconvenience and actually large safety hazard. Instead of using common sense and scheduling more pickups or adding a 2nd bin to an area that is obviously heavily used - they took it away. I don't understand the reasoning behind this at all. It is very counter-intuitive. They take away amenities and services from us, when a couple of bad tenants misbehave. This is akin to how children may be reprimanded in grade school. However, studies show that punishing an entire group for the wrongdoings of a few never actually improves the situation - and instead builds resentment and hostility among the larger well-behaved group.

My son and I have lived ar Rose Vista Apartment for 8 months. I have never known of another apartment community where the management cares as much for their residents as at Rose Vista. The entire staff here goes the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and safe. It is more like living with your family than living in a rental community. The maintenance crew are great!! They are out removing snow before it quits snowing, can you beleive that? My recommendation would be, if your looking for a great place to live, come by, visit and you will see that this is the place for you!!! We love it here!

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone because at first the people in the office are nice to you, but once your all moved in they're in your business and constantly harassing finding excuses to enter your apartment even though there's a state law stating there needs to be 2 weeks advance notice to enter an apartment. I don't know what I did this ever get treated the way I did from the people in the office. Once I left the place they made up all these lies about how the place was dirty and unexplainable even though they didn't say that when we went through the walk through and now I have a collection agency on me just because the office girl just wanted to make sure I got a bad reputation for renting. I feel like she had personally disliked me and did all she could to ruin my rental history. DO NOT RENT HERE THEY'RE LIARS!!!

When I moved in my daughter & I were treated wonderfully. The staff has went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The manager is very nice & easy to talk to and has made me and my daughter feel very welcome to Minnesota. The maintenance team handles all the service issues very quickly. The location is perfect, on the busline and close to shopping. I highly recommend this community!

If the staff doesn't like you personally, you better be ready for constant harassment and discrimination, ie threatening to tow your vehicle regardless if you have a parking permit or not. They speak incredibly badly of their tenants and send their "maintenance" crew on spy missions to snoop on you instead of actually working. They cannot even fix a simple clogged pipe without flooding your entire house! There is constantly trash on the ground, loud children and not to mention half of the tenants are on illegal drugs and have parties just about every weekend, but as long as the staff likes you it's okay with them! Houses are loud (creeky, old sounding), in poor maintenance and overall old feeling. The price is just ridiculous too, can find a much much better location for less.
