This isn't written by management (MUST READ)
This place is full of --------------------------, its like the fly them in by the dozen when the ----------- gets too full! Mainly there is ------ who runs around on the playgrounds and hallways and leaves a "present" for everybody and blames it on her cat. There are to many others to even start to discuss here since I would run out of space, but I guess that this it the supposed "charm" that only Rose Vista has. Not to mention the kichen is small. As well as the whole apartment. There are two maintenece guys, one is older than dirt and the other is mentally challenged. The management doesn't let you know when they will come to fix anything they will walk in on you. First they will knock, and if nobody answers they will walk in and do the work. Thats if they do anything at all. In my opinion, anything positive said is the management trying to cover up the actual, accurate reviews. If you decide to not live here, it will be the best desicion you will have ever made in your life.

A great place to live!
Rose Vista is a great place to live. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Any issues I've had were taken care of promptly-usually within 24 hours. The buildings are well maintained. They have social events several times a year, which is a great way to meet your neighbors. Location is great-easy access to restaurants, grocery store, and a strip mall. Only down side is no guest parking, but you're told that up front when visiting and again when you put in your application. Overall, this is a great place, and I've recommended it to several people already.

God bless
All the magnificent people who work at rose vista! They're courteous, kind, and will break their backs to make you comfortable! The amenities are immaculate, the neighbors are really down to earth good people, and the parking lot is kept plowed, you'd never know if there was snow on the ground by looking at it!

Great Management!!!
If your reading reviews and see people bashing the management at the RoseVista Court Apts, I would say to those people who posted those reviews don t live like a bunch of low class animals and get evicted and then blame your hurt feelings on the management. I have lived at the complex twice in my life. Once with my parents when I was in high school, and once in my early twenty s. Thank god for the management. Here you have a group of people who have been in place for over 20 years. Now if that is not dedication to your job and care of the residents, I don t know what is. It s a great facility and you should check it out and judge for your self. The managment is always pushing for upgrades while not jacking up the rent to line their pockets. Its a great place and if I were to move back into the area, I would live there again.

wow this is screwed up
You will not believe how cheap these apartments are, it is snowing profusly the steps are wet and I have almost fell a few times so whats their solution? you would think salt right? WRONG! They take the sand from the playground and put it on the steps because it is cheaper than buying salt!

Horrible Fake Mangers
If you are looking to save a few bucks by renting from Rose Vista Apartments (the Goodman Group), Please just spend the extra money and save yourself the stress. A matter of fact, the apartments across the street are excellent. Rose Vista apartments are absolutely horrible, not really the apartments, but the unprofessional, ------, nasty staff members and Managers. They are very nice in the beginning, but after a few months they are a pain in the ---. The property does not offer any parking for your visitors. Visitors park across the street in the winter and summer and will be charged a nasty towing fee (prices start at $250). Residents cars will be towed also, even if they move their car to the northside/southside crap as stated in move your car flyer. You will get these annoying flyers often (park here, park there, move everywhere). If you disagree with the staff or provide suggestions, they will quickly become pissed and start to act really ignorant with you. Washers and dryers are broken on a regular basis. If you live on a top floor, be ready to sweat like you in a concentration camp. Property does not change air filters, but charges you $20.00 during move out if you don't change them. By the way, deposit is $350.00, and you can forget being refunded your entire deposit. If there is dust on the light bulb, there will be a $10.00 charge. Please save yourself the time and look for a place that is comfortable and provides a property staff that is not full of fictious people.

BEWARE of MANAGER!
The manager lies and talks about everybodys business. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! No confidentiality. Also, her personality leaves her with no class. Rude to most people. She is sneaky and covers for herself and the other staff.

We love it here!
We've lived here for a year (in one of the townhouses on the property) and we'll never move until we buy a house. Our neighbor has been here nine years and loves it. It's beautiful, there's a grocery store and strip mall across the street. Wonderful playground, pool, fitness room, community room and grounds. Fair price. Every time we call with a maintenance issue it's fixed within a day. The office staff are very friendly. Wonderful neighbors, safe neighborhood (but still diverse and convenient to city living), strict no crime and no drugs policy. We absolutely love it! The only problem is that there's no guest parking at all. Plenty for the residents, but your guests have to park at the grocery store across the street (or risk parking illegally in the apartment lot).

Don't know what they are talking about.....
I have lived at Rose Vista for over three years now and have ablsolutely no complaints about the complex or the management. They have always been professional, friendly, and punctual in dealing with any issues that arise. On many occcasions they will go out of their way, letting me know when I have packages waiting in the office or even just stopping for a simple friendly chat. There are a number of social events that provide a sense of community and they are constantly improving the facilities, for example the newly remodeled gathering place and office as well as awning and roof work over the past year. During recent snows they maintained sidewalks in a virtually dry condition and were out shoveling and cleaning as soon as the snowfall had stopped. This is not a luxury complex, but if you are looking for convience, location, and a friendly community, one would be mistaken not too take a look here. The townhouses are a particularily good deal, spacious and relatively inexpensive.

Not that bad, actually
We lived in these apartments for 2 years (from 2001-2003) I don't know what people are talking about when they had problems with management. we never had any problems. We enjoyed living there. they were very understanding when we were having financial issues and were paying late (with a fee of course) and anytime anything needed to be fixed, it was taken care of within days. Overall very enjoyabole place to live.

mgt officers are super fake!!
They will promise everything you want before you sign the lease contract. After that they will yell at you when you remind them to follow their promise. It seems like you ask them living for free!!

a very nice place
I lived there for 14 years. The staff were always professional and responsive to my requests for service. Over the years they've made many improvements to the complex that enhanced the quality of living there. It's a safe neighborhood with major stores just minutes away.
I lived there for a long time because it was a good place that was well run in a great location. What more can you ask for?
office people are the worst!
I can't agree more with the comments on here. Rose Vistas could be nice, but the office workers are the worst! I've even called the corporate offices to complain but they don't return phone calls either. If you make a complaint to the office, you'll get YELLED at! NO JOKE! I'm writing the renter's advocate association so maybe it'll get fixed. Some people just really need to get fired! They are complete idiots! They tell you there are lots of long term residents that live here, but those residents are all CRAZY! A crazy old lady yelled explicits at me in the parking lot the other day (calling me a baby and saying I still suck on mom's you know what!). That's the type of long term resident who lives here. It feels like a mental institution! It is quiet here but that's because if you make any noise in your apartment, your neighbors can hear it right through the walls. By the way, this property is owned by the SAGE COMPANY. I wouldn't recommend moving into ANY building owned by this company. UPDATE: It is June 10, 2007 and the Rose Vistas has filled up the pool with water. But you can't use it. They give you a key to the main door but lock up the door with another lock. The pool is a lie, a trick to get you to move in here. There's no pool unless you only plan to look at it through the fence. Furthermore, they tell you that guests can park in the Rainbow Foods/movie theater parking lot. My guest parked there and his car was stolen! We've also seen cars with their windows broken out. Don't ever park there. Don't move here if you plan on having company over. Bottom line, don't move here.

dont move here
these apartments are horrible!! the staff is a serious joke, i almost feel bad at how pathetic they are. especially that weird short lady at the office, she's kind of a freak. anyways, staff is polite when you first move in, after that they are miserable to deal with. the only positive thing is that they are relatively cheap, however, it's not worth it with all the hassels. definately consider other places before this one... also things always seem to be breaking many of the neighbors i didnt feel safe around....

its okay
It's an okay place, great location. Rainbow Foods across the street, plus church, library, SuperTarget, Rosedale Mall really close. Roseville is a cute suburb to live in, and its pretty close to both Mpls and St Paul. The open counter in the kitchen is something I haven't seen in too many other places around this price range.

Issues I'm having: one of the managers is really rude--she almost scares me. can sometimes smell pot in the hallway, the other tennents are odd, noisey kids, when you get here too late at night you can't always park right by your apartment door even though guests are even made to park at Rainbow (or they get towed!). Also, it's just a small apartment.

Overall, it does the job. I'll probably leave when my rent is up, but I don't regret living here. It's probably best for single parents on a budget with a small child.

I don't recommend it.
While the managers/maintenence were kind, they didn't address any of our problems. The apartments were old and had ongoing infestation problems from the day we moved in that we had to deal with and the administrators didn't offer much support. Not worth the $$.

ROSE VISTA = GREAT PLACE TO LIVE
Rose vista is one of the best places to live around st. paul. It is a great location, and the property its self is very nice. The people who work here are very friendly if you dont just scream at them like i have seen some people do. The new office building with a party room that is by the new pool is great. It is the place to be on a hot summer afternoon. Judging by what the buildings look like you may think that it is a mediocre place, but when you enter the apartments they are all refurbished and look amazing. i am very happy with my pad, and i dont know why anyone would not like living here.

It's not luxury, but very nice and worth the money.
In the two years we've lived here, I've had no complaints with the staff or maintenance crew. However, the hallways and common areas inside the apartments were not always kept up nicely.
Nevertheless, the staff is always doing small things to update the buildings and grounds. They also plan a few community events, remember your birthday, and other small gestures of appreciation.
The party room is very nice, and the pool area is relaxing. It's a very convenient location.
Recently discovered that these apartments are qualified for Section 8. Most of the residents in my building have been quiet, however there have been a few "shady" residents. But, you can get that with any apartment living.
