The place is absolutely great and full of fun from the moment you walk through the doors. Whether you are coming with a large group of friends to celebrate the weekend or just dropping by for a casual afternoon hangout, there is always plenty to do to keep everyone entertained and engaged.

One of the best and affordable apartments near MSU. Great staff and overall a great experience so far. I would recommend their classic 3*3 which is great and affordable with minimum distractions with a quite big kitchen space.

[Incentivized Review] Great facility for the price. We occasionally run into maintainance issues but it is fine I guess. Great for affordability and stuff. I have been a resident here for a year now. I don’t know what else to say.

[Incentivized Review] Living at this apartment complex has been a genuinely positive experience. From the moment I moved in, I felt welcomed by both the staff and the community. The management team is responsive, professional, and always willing to help with any concerns or maintenance requests, which are handled quickly and efficiently. The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and provide a safe, comfortable environment.

It’s always a good time
Yugo is the best apartment in starkville to stay in. The staff is nice, the pool a cool spot to chill at on a hot day rather it trying to swim or just sit with your feet in the water, everyone here cool and it’s never no mess going on

[Incentivized Review] Yugo always has good, clean apartments. It close enough around many main attractions. They ensure that their residents are well taken care of and have nice affordable prices. The roommate matching was also very accurate

Don't rent from 21 apartments if you want working appliances. Don't rent from 21 apartments if you want apartment managers who care. Don't rent from 21 apartments if you want a place that responds to needed repairs.

21 Apartment, Starkville, MS
Guys Dont Take Lease Here. Worst place ever and so poor management. They'll give you Move-in date and when you'll be here, you'll find: 1. No key [front door and bedroom door] ****** 2. Either: 2.1. AC is not working in OR 2.2 Bed Room door is broken OR 2.3 Toilet flash is not working or water leak 2.4 OR all [if you have bad luck] If you ask management they'll simply answer, you don't have idea when you'll get the key, and maintenance will be done here. It's better to stay far away from campus. DONT TAKE LEASE. Ban this Place.

It okay-ish. It's nothing spectacular for price, plus you get to pay several companies affiliated to the apartment asides from your monthly rent and utility billing. They force an expensive insurance company policy on you and another utility company asides from the one you get from their usual monthly billing.

Worst Place to Live in Starkville
DO NOT even waste your time considering to live here. 21 Apartments is disgusting, their staff and management is unprofessional and unhelpful, and the entire complex is a s**t show. You will experience a myriad of issues while living here, none of which will be responded to promptly or appropriately. Their maintenance team is pathetic, they will leave your things more broken than they were when you called if they even come at all, or you’ll find them riding around on golf carts harassing the women residents. Each unit is disgusting and infested with ants and roaches. Make sure that if you do move in, you have allocated time to deep cleaning your entire unit before moving in any of your personal belongings. Also, always watch your step outside of your apartment! The breezeways will always be littered with old furniture and appliances, broken glass and plastic, and rusty screws/nails! Watch your monthly bill! 21 is notorious for adding additional fees that have nothing to do with your stay!! I hope you weren’t excited for any of the amenities they claim to offer either. The pool has been closed all summer, once it had reopened it was immediately closed again because the staff does not know how to maintain it. You won’t even be able to contact the front office at any point because their phone lines are down and they don’t know how to respond to text messages! I could continue to list the issues with this place, but I hope by now you’ve gotten the picture. I don’t know how this place stays up and running, and I hope that something happens to it soon. I wouldn’t wish for my worst enemies to be stuck in this place. Good luck with your apartment hunt!

21 Apartments Review
21 apartments for the price in 2020 was worth it, $440 for the classic 4 bedroom unit. In that unit I had mold issues in the pantry but overall for the price I’d leave 4 stars. Unfortunately rent is currently $469 for the same unit and will soon go to $509 for the same unit and in my opinion is not worth it when there are plenty of nicer places around Starkville over $500 for rent. Also I’m my current unit there are several work orders that were never completed, including the stove, microwave, the kitchen light switch and more. These work orders have been open for over two months. I will give credit to the front office employees seeing they are always helpful and friendly as well as the clubhouse amenities, including a gym, pool, jacuzzi, pool table, and tanning bed. Overall for the soon to be prices I rate 21 apartments a 3 star review.

Very convenient and gracious staff
I have been here since two years and just renewed my lease for another year. 21 Century has one distinct feature over those around, there is a a decent distance......in...between buildings makes walking more fun. Their maintenance team are very professional and on time. I came back one day home and found them installed AC for each room without asking. That surprised us. I am unsure where some of these negative reviews come from!

The place & other residents are so awesome! It's right next to campus & they have a bark park for animal lovers like me! The clubhouse is open 24hrs if I want to go play pool with friends or study in the computer lab! Love 21 Apartments!

It is the best set up apartment complex I have ever lived at. The lay out of buildings, amenities, etc. on the grounds at 21 Apts is great and was well planned with the students in mind. My one complaint on limited visitor parking was actually heard (unlike most places) and improved by adding more parking! They listen and actually care about tenants. I highly recommend!

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT live here. Yes the rent is cheap but you get what you pay for. Might be overpriced tbh. When you go to the housing office they just tell you what you wanna hear to get you off their back but they never actually do anything. They took 3 weeks to fix my friends water heater, my drawers and stove light and ice maker haven't worked since I moved in. The furniture in my room was dirty when I moved in, and carpet was not clean. They don't do room inspections because all of the cabinets were full of the previous tenants crap. Not to mention the fridge leaks brown goop. You're better off living in the chick fil a parking lot they'd take better care of you there

The apartment complex is kept pretty clean, and the maintenance staff is knowledgeable and easy to get ahold of. if they can't fix it, they replace it. I had my washer go out and they completely replaced it with a brand new one. I've also been reimbursed for extra charges on my account with no problems.

I should have trusted my friends when they said "do not live here, they will screw you over". The management is super nice and helpful ONLY WHEN YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR AN APARTMENT AND SIGNING. AFTER THEY SAY "f*ck you" and will basically f*ck you over. The tour room they show you is super nice and clean. However, the room I moved into was disgusting. Spiders, spider webs, ladybugs, and all sorts of disgusting creatures. I had no time to say "hey I need you to come back and clean the room". They gave me a sheet and said "Fill out everything wrong with the apartment and we will take care of it". December 21st I moved in. They were going to be closed the week of Christmas. I came back with my sheet and they said "they could not take it because you needed to give it to us within 3 days". The entire apartment is outdated and disgusting. Carpet looks like motel carpet. Needs to RIPPED UP AND GONE. Mattresses are gross. Mine is sticky. And no matter what, I cannot get it up. I will have to throw away my bed set because it is so disgusting. My clothes smell awful because the apartment smells. DO NOT TRUST THEIR MATCHING BRCAUSE I GOT STUCK WITH TERRIBLE ROOMMATES AND ONE IS BIPOLAR. There are way too many things wrong with this place. DO NOT LIVE HERE OR TRUST THEM. THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY!
