I enjoy living at The Monarch. I have been here for some years and its pretty quiet, safe and a great place to live. We have close access to major highways, entertainment, shopping store etc, The school system is really good as well. The building gives us lots of incentives, parties for holidays (Christmas, Halloween, etc) We have food trucks weekly, ice cream truck for summer and breakfast for us randomly such as Mothers Day etc. We have great space to move around in the building such as pool, terraces, community room, gym, yoga room and kids room. They have a dog park for the dog owner. The ground keepers / maintenance does a well job keeping the community areas cleaned and they are in the process of doing major upgrades so I look forward to seeing the new changes. Its worth coming to look at and seeing if it is a fit for living.

It started very well when I moved in, leasing staff was very nice and helpful. In the past 3 years though my experience has steadily downgraded. Leasing nickel and dimes even long term residents for minor things, which is a bit aggravating when rent is already so high, and seem to go out of their way to be as rude as possible. Concierge is very friendly and helpful(to the extent management allows them to be). Maintenance does a good job as well. Overall pretty clean.

It is a very welcoming community. I have felt comfortable and safe living in this apartment building and would definitely recommend to a friend or new NJ resident. I love the view of the courtyard and the included gym.

The building and apartment in general was good, clean and ready everything was set for you. My only issue was with the staff as the process was prolonged because stiffness and poor communication that the one person I dealt with.

Nice, quiet community. Haven't had any major complaints since I moved in since February 2023. There were a couple minor issues with washer/dryer, which were resolved. Maintenance team is efficient and respond to work orders promptly.

The maintenance staff is very good. The building could use some new carpet. On going smoking problems. However management is trying to stop it. The Monarch is a no smoking complex. Overall not too bad of a place to live.

excellent except there is my above neighbor in 366 who constantly stomps on the floor above at all hours of the night and it drives me crazy!!! It needs to be addressed and other than that all is excellent and has been a great experience-love the gym and common spaces and parking lot (no weather or snow to deal with !!

The office employees are horrible especially the property manager who is rude and treats people like she’s giving them the apartment for free, the turn around in the office is crazy and the front desk people are unprofessional and will let anyone in the building. So if you want safety this is not the place for it!!

The Monarch has decent rent compared to others in the area as well as free parking which was nice coming from an area where parking was $150 per car. In my opinion, it's not a luxury apartment. Newer apartment? yes, but that does not = luxury living. The finishes throughout the apartment are not luxury from the bathroom to the kitchen and floors. There are carpets in the bedroom which is probably my least favorite part about the apartments here. The maintenance team is very responsive and helpful, they fix things in a timely manner. The concierge during the day is very polite and friendly but the concierge's that works the night shifts let anyone and everyone park in the building without checking in. The parking and gate situation is horrendous. Both of our vehicles were hit with the gate on two separate occasions because the scanner doesn't properly read the parking tag which in return you need to reverse and drive forward multiple times in order to get the gate to open. They should install a remote system or something else because the current scanner is not reliable and im always terrified pulling into the garage. The property manager took weeks to help me resolve the situation with my car getting hit and I didn't have a car for two months. No direction was provided by the property manager other than to get a police report and that was all I was told. I waited 2 weeks for an update on next steps where they proceeded to tell me to get an estimate or go through insurance. I would have done that from the beginning but I was waiting on them to let me know what steps I should take. Overall a really frustrating situation that I wish was handled better. If my rent increases, I will most likely find another apartment building.

My experience has been positive. There are definitely things I would change and want to improve but overall it's been good. The concierge has been good. Some residents just don't follow the rules, which is expected. Rules should be better enforced.

Good mix of younger people/couples and families. Feels like a comfortable and safe community. Nice city views and amenities. Mail and package system is very secure so you won't lose anything. Haven't had noise issues from other units. Overall great place to live.

Quiet community with helpful staff. In the hallways you can hear your neighbors but once inside your apartment, you cannot hear anything. The staff are prompt with helping you both at concierge and maintenance.

Move in was easy and everything is conveniently in your reach. The gym is always open, the pool is never too busy, and you are assigned your own parking space. On top of this, there is sometimes a food truck that comes by!

Building Management could use improvement (did not like prior contact Eugene) but concierge and john maintenance is part of the reason I stay here at the monarch. Regarding mgmt, I have lived here for 6+ years and encourage management to make tenants feel at ease and send reminders on items / renewals required (ie insurance) rather than saying "read the contract" and charging tenant insurance bc of a lack of insurance support that has constantly been provided by me.

Its comfortable complex and area parking is a plus It would be great if the local bus stoped outside we have to drive everywhere We do have a shuttle service They just need some public transportation or a way to walk to the surrounding areas

Everything here has been great. The staff is courteous and professional. My only issue is with the hallway carpet it should be one piece. Instead it is multiple sections in square pieces that tend to lift up. It addition the carpet is worn and should be replaced.
