The building upkeep is great and so is maintenance. However, the office is terrible! They never respond to emails when you need them. The only time someone responds is when they need something from you. It does not matter how many times you reach out to them until you copy corporate is when they decide to respond. The leasing office staff is terrible and that ruins the whole experience in these wonderful apartments. They even make changes that affect residents and do not even tell them. Simple things go along way and the office staff here lacks that tremendously!

The leasing agent Alfredo guided me through the whole process and kindly answered my thousand questions without a problem. Maintenance, John is a very nice guy and super helpful, he helps you right away. The concierge staff has been great. All great people!!

The building is extremely well kept and everyone I have met has been very friendly and helpful! I couldn't ask for better neighbors. The cleanliness of the apartment when I moved in was excellent! Would definitely recommend living here.

It's a nice community to live in. May need a vehicle to get around the area as it is on a highway. It's a safe building. Very quiet. No issues with visitor parking or entrance. Maintenance is always available to assist. Building clean and well maintained.

There are many wow factors that this community has to offer , not to mention the amenities are a plus . It is in a Fantastic neighborhood very peaceful and united , certainly a great place to essentially raise a family .

This has been the worst experience I have ever had renting. The leasing office staff is abysmal and act as though it is a chore to do their jobs. The value received doesn't not equate to what you pay in rent. Honestly, I would never recommend this apartment building to anyone. Their only saving grace is that their maintenance team is awesome.

Loved the dry cleaning service. I loved the walking trail and the dog park. Also loved how it has a market Incase you need something to eat or cook with and weren't able to go back out because of traffic.

Community is decent not very kid friendly as there is nothing for them to do no playgrounds no courts. Sometimes it isn't that safe new random doorman every other week management is too cheap to pay good doorman so they hire this bootleg company. We need tony and miles back. These new doorman sometimes let people upstairs to my apt without even calling me or my wife very very serious problem building is not very safe

The Monarch is a newer building with sufficient amenities (nice sized gym, pool, children's play room), however though the building touts itself to be luxury, it sadly falls short. I am the second tenant to live in my unit and all was great when I moved in, but after nearly 3 years it's very apparent that cheap materials were used in the kitchens and bathrooms. Paint is peeling from the walls, the grout in the shower is crumbling and the kitchen cabinets are peeling. Maintenance is quick to help in any way they can, but there's only so much they can do. The front desk staff turns over extremely quickly, most likely because they receive complaints from tenants about their inadequacies. Having lived in other "luxury" buildings, they are definitely not meeting the bar, let alone raising it. Rent had consistently increased, with a sharp spike last year and with the increased traffic from the new mall opening along with what was mentioned above it's my opinion that one could find better value than The Monarch.

John at Monarch Apartments was great. Knowledgeable and very accommodating. Instead of pawning off the responsibility of an appliance to the manufacture, he used his experience to fix the washing machine in less than 10 minutes. More so, when we mentioned that a specific window of time works for us, because expecting company, he prioritized the service and came in a timely manner. Last, I would welcome John into my apt any time something comes up. He is a pro, and I have zero complaints

Dislike staff, specially all these implantation a of policies. Visitor parking won't let you park your vehicle. New manager will not let you get keys earlier than move in date. Zena from leasing is nice. Reason why I'm leaving this review, said it would be the only thing to get the owners attention. She would if she could. Acknowledgement should be giving to the nice people. I do plan on renewing.

The complex is lovely and very well appointed. The shuttle service M-F is the key factor to keeping this place a viable option so it would be great if they offered the services on the weekend. The office staff seems to have pretty high turnover so you get what you get. When I moved in one person was awesome but she was replaced by someone not so awesome... and since, they've hired another person who is more helpful but given her status/ position, she isn't empowered to be solution oriented. The complex is awesome, the maintenance staff are responsive, the location is mediocre, and the leasing office staff (NOT including the concierge) is subpar

Dont move in. Poor leasing office. Fire alarm goes off all the time. Dont rent a unit with terrace. They dont have screen door. All kinds of bugs and mouse can come in to your apartment. And once they are in maintance cant do anything you have to wait for ------ pest company that they work with. We had mouse in the apartment for a week. Terrible situation.

I had a very hard time moving in, I was paying people to move my belonging in the house and it took a long time to get my key to enter the apartment and the management office giving wrong information about things I have asked prior to signing the lease, which upsets me because I would have never moved in.

I enjoy the amenities, this year the courtyard furniture was taken away which is kind of sad, considering we go out there in the winter months and sit by the fire and roast marshmallows. Can you bring that back

I was not given a second key for my husband, women drink with their children in the kids room and I moved into a stained bathroom countertop, I also reported damage to the floor when my couches were delivered and never got a response. The shuttle only picks you up once every hour not every 20 min ...other than that this building has amazing potential but poor management in leasing office

I just moved in and I am so happy that I did. This seems like a great place to be. I love the gym and the shuttle is so convenient to Secaucus Junction makes my commute to the city easy. The apartment layout is great and it is very spacious. Everything is designed the way it should be. Apartment Leasing Agent Alfredo is excellent. The front desk staff is awesome and is very helpful. The superintendent John is very helpful and has an excellent hand on what he does. Overall it is a great experience.

Nice place to rent. Love the pool and gym. The staff is great specially Deb. She is always available when you need anything or have questions. The Monarch it's nice, but a bit pricey. Will recommend to friends, but they need to care of the people extending their leases.
