Don t waste your time Look elsewhere
Been living at the complex going on 5 years now 4 years was bearable but this 5 th year is ridiculous. The complex continues to shut the water off unannounced, Say that you owe more than what you actually signed the lease for and worst of all have a maintance crew from hell that thinks its ok to cuss out and threatend thei tennants and take up parking spaces. Rent continues to increase every year and to add things on they recently went section 8. A good Example of why not to move here is yesterday we were out of water for over 24 hours with out notice and its the 20th this month, this is the 4th time this month they shut the water down and guess what we have freezing weather today. Save your time and money, look elsewhere

SCAM and DANGEROUS
I came home early and found the tall skinny maintenance guy going through my dam* dresser drawers. He said he was looking for a towel for the toilet. He didnt even have permission to be in my apartment. This dam*ed place has different breeds of cockroaches, and they wont spray. Despite the last two murders in the last eight months, I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy. No star is what I want to give.... P.S. They are now called Artisan Ridge

possible lawsuit
Yes a lawsuit may be under way! But I cannot speak of spacifics at this time. Let's just put it this way, we have children and a septic system that keeps backing up, and they refuse to do anything but snake the back pipe, the plumber even said that they would need to dig it up! And now because of their lack of maintainance CPS was trying to investigate us! Guess who called them! We ran away from this nightmare of an apartment! Its all about money, and they have nice office furnature but that's about the best of it, other than the work out room. The apartments always have some issue, and they are slow or not available too fix it for one reason or another. Security has gotten a little better thanks to mike, an awesome security guard who has gained much respect for doing his best to keep the filth out! The gates now close at 6pm, but after living there for years and putting in my code, I still had to verify my residency. They only have 400 units to take care of! Also the complex it pretty empty right now, so it seems quiet, wait for them to get more people in, I'm sure the crime will come back. Also the apartment upstairs kept flooding and leaking, flooding our apartment. They would stop the leak but do nothing about the mold that was left except clean the carpet in the area of the mold. Also they say they will clean the carpets upon the lease renewall and they haven't since I got in years ago, I paid for it to be done. The indoor pool has been closed for a very very long time, the outdoor pool is okay, but is usually filled with a bunch of unsupervised children or very roudy older teens using foul language around young children. this is not a safe place to live with children, and is only reconmended to hood lovers, since I have lived in the hood and this place is worse! Also the dumpsters are always over flowing with trash or furnature to the point we had to wait to put out our trash as soon as the trash man came, and right after or we wouldn't have room. The fences are constantly being broken off and it is almost time for the kids to go to school, the school busses let off out front and the teens walk through to their homes and some destroy or vandalize as they go. No respect for their community or neighbors. I like to know all my neighbors, and most where so nasty they wouldn't give me the time of day. For $600 this place isn't worth the headaches.

Hell on Earth...no joke!
Well let me start on saying I moved in because they were willing to move me in so quickly and with a nice discount because I work across the street! Great right...well the same day I moved in there was a murder. So I thought to myself, no big deal I've grown up in the ------ all my life. I saw it once in a while when I was little too. Then 6 months later a FBI agent came to me and asked if I knew my neighbors upstairs. I said now and he showed his badge and said, if you notice any unmark cars in the parking lot, don't be alarmed it's just us, we are trying to bust the lady upstairs...she was featured on America's Most Wanted as a female pimp that killed a couple of her whores! ARE YOU SERIOUS! Well they finally got her out, but only because I kept making noise complaints for 6 months straight and they kicked her out. Well everything was going better so I re-signed my lease...BIG MISTAKE! Now I have new neighbors that walk around like they are hearding cattle and blast their bass thumping music 24/7 to where I feel like I'm living under a club! To top it off when I said I'm going to break my lease. They wanted to give me the two apartments that are recently involved in a murder that happened about two weeks ago. Those as well as they shut off the water all the time, what they call security is one camera at the leasing office that is pointing to the rent drop box, their gate doesn't lock til 6pm but what does that matter because the gates all around are always knocked down, their electric is getting worse because now my breaker is constantly going off, and when you call maitence to do something...they never come! If breaking the lease wasn't so expensive, I would already be out of here. Lesson learned I guess.

Not perfect, but good! Excellent STAFF!
First, the office staff is excellent (even back when I used to live here in 2002)(the male in the office, the only guy that works in the Artisan Ridge apt office needs some people skills n training. everybody else is great.) My apt could've been put together better, but I was in a rush to get in cause I needed in asap...so its partly my fault. It's very spacious for the price. Parking is pretty good daily. The laundry rooms were much cleaner when Francesca was working here (get her back!) Maintanence is decent about fixing issues when u call. 1 negative point is that I see the police in our complex way too often. And they spent time getting people to start working on our gate, so follow-through. Yeah this complex has its share of issues just like any other place but its decent enough. I've seen much worse and I believe Artisan Ridge is going to continue to improve.

worst apartment complex in OKC
This is one of the worst apartment complexes in OKC, in my opinion. This area rivals Lyrewood. If you are familiar w/ the area then you know what I am talking about. There are alot of little punks running around trying to steal & break into cars, slash tires, etc.. stray cat problem as well. Oh and please do not have something that needs attention from maintenance b/c if you hold your breath .. you will be dead by the time they get around to helping you! This property management team used to have a fairly good name in Oklahoma City. I am disappointed to say that they no longer do. I do not recommend Artisan Ridge Apartments!!

Not Bad
I have lived in these apartments for two years. I was originally in a 3 bed 2 bath with 2 roommates, and the only issue we ever had was when the heater went out one day. They came that day to fix it, but it wasn't working again the next day. My idiot of a roommate locked her bedroom door (where the circuit breaker was) and the poor guy shocked himself trying to fix it, lol. They got it fixed the next day when the head maintainence guy came over and we didn't have any other issues. I'm currently in a 2b 2 ba and I had an issue with my shower once when we were owned by McSha (it took them like a week to fix it, but they didn't consider it a priority since i had 2 bathrooms i guess...) D&S bought the property a few months ago and it has changed quite a bit. The parking lot is now completely repaired, maintainence comes alot quicker, and they now have 24 hour security and they're actually always around so you know that you can find them if you need them (although I've usually never needed to, except when my crazy ex was stalking me. The escorted him off the property and told him he'd be arrested if he came back. Never any other problems before or after). They also started a community watch program and something for kids. The size of the apt is great, 1,034 sq ft and my room is huge. Thats one thing I absolutely love. I'll be moving out of state soon, but if I wasn't, I'd probably be staying here til I bought a house or got married or something.

Wow, it's like I live in a different complex or something...
After reading these reviews, I feel like I live in a different apartment complex. I guess I really lucked out with this one that I'm in now! I live in a unit that is located right across the street from the office, so maybe that has something to do with it as well. The unit that I'm in is in really good shape compared to the horror stories that I have read. Most of the problems that I have had here are mainly cosmetic. I could see holes that were patched up and painted over, the carpet had a few stains, blinds broken, etc. The biggest complaint I have is that they randomly turn off the water without giving any kind of notice, and the air conditioner has stopped working a few times out of the year that I've been living here. Yes there is loud music at all times of the day and night, and yes I can hear people talking, but I grew up on an Air Force base, so I'm used to loud noise at all times of the day and night. I haven't heard any gunshots, but again I live right across from the office and I think most of that stuff happens at the back end of the complex. I have seen alot of cops, and occasionally a police chopper flies over, but I've never felt any sense of fear when walking to and from my unit. I must be the luckiest tenant in the complex! I would give these apartments a bad review if I had a really bad experience, but I gotta keep it real. I have liked living here for the past year, but money issues is what's forcing me to leave. If you would like more information about my experience here, feel free to contact me a the email provided. Thanks.

DONT MOVE TO THE ------ FROM HELL
We have lived here for a year and a half. The crap started from day one! We went to pick up our key and they were almost an hour late. It has went down hill from there. The people in the office are the most rude ------- that I have ever dealt with. They don't care about there customers. They seem to forget that we are customers. Every night we get woke up by some rude --- thuming his stereo. In fact I hear one right now. They parking lot is a disaster. We don't feel safe here. We are moving out this month and can not wait! It was such a big ordeal to get them to sign a paper and fax it back to where we are moving. It took them over a week. I even called the district office and nothing was done. They didn't care either. I wonder how they stay in business. Oh I know, ------- people like us move in here not knowing any better. We have the police in here everynight and the helicopters are always flying over. I can not wait to get out of the ------!!!! I would rather live in a box on the street than spend anymore time here!! DONT MOVE IN HERE!!!!!

another review saying this place sucks
My wife and I lived here for a year only because we couldn't get out of our lease earlier without paying a lot of money. We reported the numerous things that were wrong with our apartment as they happened all year long. Everything all the other negative reviews are true, especially the part about them putting notices on your doors. We had two vehicles and my wife and I carpooled every day. One day we came home about 6pm and my truck was gone. There was a notice on the door saying that they will tow any vehicle in our section after 11am that day because they were going to repair part of the parking lot. I had to pay $250 to get my truck out of an impound downtown. They refused to reimburse me for it because they swore that they gave me a 24 hour notice. I just stopped complaining about it because I only had two months left on the lease. About three weeks before the lease was up, someone in the front office called and asked if we wanted to renew out lease. My wife said hell no. The manager called back later and asked to speak to me. She asked why we were leaving. I told her that about all of the problems that we've had with the apartment that we've complained about and no one has taken care of. She said that she didn't know about it and asked if would we stay if someone took care of the problem the next day. I said hell no. Then she hung up on me. She never bothered to send anyone about to fix the apartment. And we were gone. Thank goodness the only thing that happened to us was our car's side mirror being broken off. Don't stay here.

ATTN : THIS PLACE IS SO FULL OF ------------, YOU'LL BE SWIMING IN IT !!
i'm writing the review as a warning really to anyone who is looking to rent from these HORRIBLE apt's....Females this is not a place wanna live not unless you carry a gun on you at all times... I use to live there, i had to break my lease because i was robbed at gun point, in my breezeway going to my apt, WTF !!! there's always the feeling that someone was...IS watching you ! Every night you hear a chopper flying around in the area with searchlights scaning the ground looking for thugs ! The apt's claim that thry have lighted parking lots... HA HA HA my --- !! There's no feeling of safey there ! Anyone with children becare as well. When I lived there many nights ( before the sun had completly set ) gun shots are ringing out !! And speeding cars racing through the parking lot, while childern where out side. Some kind of cop car is there any hour of the day !! A man got shot and died three bld's down from where i use to live !! Now you know it's bad when the cops tell you why did you move here !! You can hear EVERYTHING, from you usual ------ moblie bumping and shaking the windows, to hearing your nieghbor getting it ( you know what i mean ) You HEAR EVERYTHING !! Worst place ever... they should be paying me
I should say that for a single guy, this apartment does have ample space. I cannot complain about that. However, that's about it for the positive side of this review.
My lease is almost up, and believe me I'm going to drop this place like a bad habit.
Security is a big concern for everyone in these apartments. This is NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE. I've heard gun shots on multiple occassions during the last 8 months that i've lived here. The most recent of which somebody decided to empty their handgun outside the window of my apartment. (Fortunately I live in the upstairs apartment. YES that's a plus around here). I'm not too sure what they were shooting at, but at 3AM that's one heck of a wake-up call!! Maintanence is poor to virtually non-existant. The public laundry facilities have not worked since i've been here and rather than repair them, they decided to unplug the units and call it good.
I'm a rather sizeable guy, so i don't feel too awefully threatened, but if I had a family, there's no chance in h@ll that i would move them into here.
Things were ok when i moved here, from college i figured my 1st apt wouldnt be perfect, but this is RIDICULOUS!! They're soooooo unprofessional, they're office equipment is always broken, I asked for another copy of my lease & the printer was broken, My antenna was broken off of my car,The loud noise, & I can hear everyone who is standing outside talking, when they posts notices on peoples doors, you can seea ll of their information & business! I'm still in the process of trying to figure out how to break my lease, I'm a single female who lives alone, I DON"T feel safe here, I want to leave, the parking lot is ragedy!!!& there's no point in having a gate. If you have any info on breaking a lease please repond I'm not the only person here who needs it!!!

RUN,RUN, and RUN
This place is aweful and the staff does not care, maybe because they dont have to live here... In the past couple of mths we have had people die and get stabbed and hold up. It seems thay allow anyone to move in. When you go to the office no one is there it seems they come in and out whenever they want. the water gets cut off without any notice every other day i just dont want to be here and cannot wait until my lease is up.....that is why i say run, run and run.

This place SUX!
I have lived here since June of '06 and when i lived in my 1 bedroom it smelled like sewer constantly. Then I upgraded to a 2 bedroom with my sister. Its roomy, yea, but not worth the cheap rent. A pipe broke above us, flooded our apartment, and now a week later after everything is dry... my living room carpet is still tore up. No foam underneath and a HUGE trash bag to cover the HUGE hole in our ceiling. And now its freezing in our apartment. And TWICE we have called and they said they would send someone over to fix all the crap, and TWICE they haven't shown up. I DO NOT reccommend this place at all!

somebody was murdered last night
i have lived here for one year at the end of this month. all i can say is if you are looking for saftey, dont not live here. last night i was woken up by police lights and sirens only to figure out that somebody was shot and killed less than a hundred yards from my apartment. this is defenately not a good place to live. aside from the murder, this place is ------. you can expect to be awakened in the middle of the night by ------ thug music playing and thumping very loudly from car sterios. my complaints about that particular issue have been ignored. however noise complaints about neighbors music are taken care of. there are domestic disputes here on a regualr basis here. the apartments themselves are low rate. the walls are amazingly then. i hear my upstairs neighbors having sex on a regualr basis. the absolute only thing that i can say i was completely satisfied with was the help of someone from the office by the name of tamera. she was very helpful to me on several occations. so in conclusion if you are poor and have no other option when it comes to living here, i would tell you to park your car at a walmart and sleep there. this place is TRASH!!!!

BEWARE! Dangerous Apartment!
Right out of college I needed to find a place to live. I used the apartment brochure to help. I look at Sun Ridge because it says it has 2 sparkling outdoor pools, an indoor pool, a hot tub, a workout facility, coffee for all resident, etc. Wow all for only 325.00 a month for a 1 bedroom. I thought I founf the perfect place. I was WRONG!
Sun Ridge is an absolute nightmare. The day I moved in a woman across the street who was moving out worned me about the apartment. I will only mention what I myself saw though.
If you live here, you have probably about a 85-90% chance of being robbed. You will be woken up atleast 5 nights a week due to fights or domestic disputes. You will be afraid to walk out of your own home. You would not even dare to walk outside at night without the fear of something happening. If you choose to live here please just don't live alone.
Maintenance will come if called, but the place is truly falling apart. I had to have them continuously replace the ceiling tiles because of leakage. The apartment above me had a toilet the ALWAYS overflooded their apartment and mine. Water ran down the vent into my bathroom. I had to have buckets to catch the sewer water. The dishwasher was very OLD and did not clean dishes so it was like not having one. The windows would not close securely and ants would try to get in. (into a CLEAN house!!!) They always said that an exterminator would be coming, but I NEVER saw anyone.
According to an Edmond police officer there have been many drug busts at this apartment. Though I did not see it, I felt suspicious behavior in passing.
The parking lot is so bad it will bust your tires just getting home. People drive very FAST and dangerously I would never let me kids outside to play. Trash and beer cans fill the area and dumpsters are always full. The pools were hardley ever open, and a resident was changing the chemicals (is that safe)???
Overall my recommendation is....for anyone looking for an apartment please look elsewhere. Don't hassel with fearing for your life and property!

HAHAHAHA never again!
If you are in the market for a cheap place, and you dont mind the fact that this is the ------ of the NorthWest side of okc then this is the place for you... The price is cheap, the noise isnt that bad if you keep to yourself, and the facilities are in a usable condition. I used to live in what I thought was the ------... where there were people always asking for drugs, or if I needed them, or if I did them... but this place is worse... because in the real ------ my stereo was never stolen... Probably because anyone that saw it sitting in my car could quickly see that it is worth less than the time it would take to pull the damn thing out.. but not in Sun Ridge... the "wonderful" residents decided to take the initative and take my stereo out for me (talk about a welcoming seeing as I have been here for a whole month!) Again I laugh at this only because... imagine the worst stereo ever... now think worse.. So I must say, now that a new stereo is in my car, I MUST have a car alarm for I fear that my stereo will not make it through the next few months... So anyone who is considering Sun Ridge as their future residency... THINK AGAIN... that is unless you enjoy even the most worthless of your possessions taken away by someone who apparently doesnt have enough time on their hands.. But I do have 1 good thing to say about Sun Ridge... that is the hotie working at the front desk

Poor Management Team past & Present
There are a list of things i have encountered with this complex. I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy! I moved from there 1 year ago and i am still having problems with them. after receiving a very large check for early lease termination. They sent my file to a collection agency which in turn was put on my credit for an amount that doesnt even add up. The new manager says she has more pressing things to do than to help me clear this matter up! Some Manager huh!

Burglarized!
When I was searching for an apartment in NW OKC in 2005, I settled on Sun Ridge because the rent was cheap. I thought it was too good to be true. Sadly for me and my possessions, it was.

For the first few months of renting, things were okay. The neighbors were loud at times, but the noise wasn't that bad. The maintence crew quickly fixed my sink which had cigarette burn marks on it.

Everything changed in January of 2006. While I was away at work in the middle of the day, my apartment was burglarized. I'm on the 1st floor, and the robbers broke in through my sliding glass door off my porch. This happened in broad daylight! None of my neighbors saw anything. Ridiculous. My TV, laptop, clothes, even my grandmothers' quilts were gone. Lucky for me, I had renter's insurance. You better have it if you live at Sun Ridge. Totally worth it.

What is worse is that the office staff said that they could not let me out of the lease--even though I was robbed. I'm out of here as soon as my lease runs out in May. And back in August, the incompetent staff left my file containing my banking information out in the open in the office, and that got snatched too!

Do not live here! Rent far, far away.
