We have lived here coming up to our 8th year, we absolutely love living there, beautiful pond with the Northwest wildlife, geese, ducks and the easy access to the freeway, markets, clinics and of course our own golf course makes it even sweeter

Too close to the freeway. Property manager needs to retire like she promised. Bring in Assistant Manager (Andrea) who's much nicer and approachable and personable. Stray cats Keep the mice and rats at bay. Bring back the birds to feed! Stupid and unnecessary rule! Residents who have been here 15-25 years should not make the rules. The present manager seems to favor and suck up to these particular residents. Homeless people are camping extremely close to this apartment complex. I've seen these folks walking on the property of Meadowlawn day and night. Where is the SECURITY PATROL that was here at night the first 2 years of my residency??

Meadowlawn has been a very nice place to live. It's nice and quiet. I have in the past had problems with some homeless people but it has gotten much better in the last year. I think Neighborhood Watch is really helping and I am glad we have it.

The area is peaceful, community living for 55 and over. The office and maintenance personnel are very receptive and helpful. Groceries and household goods are within reasonable distance, times, even with access to public transportation. The secured community clubhouse and its several amenities is very nice, and important to have available for seniors, especially in the winter time.

I love everything about living in Meadowlawn - the staff inside the office, onsite maintenance and outside landscape care. The grounds are immaculate and the rules and regulations regarding residents are fair. Although the apartments themselves are almost 50 years old, they are kept up well and there is nothing in mine about which I would complain. Furthermore, I am impressed by Greystar because of its apparent training and expectation of excellence. I have a friend moving to another city's Greystar managed apartment, directly because of my experience here at Meadowlawn.

Meadowlawn is a nice place to live. It's quiet and has wonderful wildlife. It's offers lots of amenities. It has a sense of community. Residents look out for each other. Maintenence is very prompt in fixing things.

I have been living here at Meadowlawn Loop SE. For just over two years, since September of 2023. In thet time I have had no complaints , nor do I have any complaints. All in all a peaceful, quiet, and well maintained apartment complex. The amenities here are conveinent,and well maintained,. A decent place to live.

When I moved here, my biggest concern was a noise and management response to it. It is very quiet. It is pet, friendly, and the apartments are spacious. The maintenance team is on top of everything. The management team is friendly and knowledgeable. The location is very good. I really don’t have any complaints.

I love living here so far. Maintenance is fantastic! Manager & office staff are friendly and willing to address any issues that arise. Garbage pickup at my door is a blessing 5 days a week! There are many things to do here (activities). Once a month they also have activities to engage with us residents. Would recommend to anyone looking for a very nice place to live!

Well maintained, look brand new when u move in. Also have u point out any problems. Quiet friendly, but not too friendly. Beautifull landscapes. Friendly hard working maintence people. Love, love it hrre. Were 80 and 86 yrs. Old. Always were home owners for 54 years. Love apt. Living and all the amenities, (pools, weight room, pool room, bbq's banquet room to rent.

I don't like being within 1/2 mile of the freeway and near the Salem airport, but with the double pane windows the noise is not as bad as I had feared. Living next to the golf course is great and the huge evergreen trees provide good shade and cleaner air. We are not a gated community which does lessen the level of security, but the complex is set back from the main road, so it's not obvious that there is a complex of this size here.

After living at Meadowlawn for about 3 months, I have found it to be a friendly community and having a way to connect online via the portal is a nice way to meet new friends. I just wish there was a Chess Club. lol :)

I’ve lived here for a few years now and am enjoying a quiet one-level apartment. I’m overlooking my patio as we speak and enjoying a quiet morning watching the birds and enjoying my flowers on the deck. Yes, it is a good place to live. It is becoming too expensive for me and may have to leave however.

This has been a very nice place to live. I have always felt safe. I enjoy the amenities and laundry costs are affordable, so I don't have to go to a laundromat. I like walking around the complex for exercise. The gym equipment is nice.

The team was very quick and efficient. People are very friendly I feel safe. The community is very well maintained. The area is big enough to walk around. They have plenty of laundry facilities. The area is very animal friendly. It’s nice having a swimming pool, a spa, a gym.

Great community and management. The maintenance team is outstanding. Everything is clean, up-to-date, and the price is extrememly affordable. I can't stress enough how great this place is before I mention the ome downside. You do have to watch out for criminals walking through the community, stealing packages, breaking into vehicles, and sometimes making noise at night. This has only been a problem for one year (2025), but it should be mentioned. It also doesn't help that Salem Police do not care at all about these issues. That said, the good significantly outweighs that one negative, and I would recommend Meadowlawn Apartments to anyone.

When bringing things up to the management about people breaking the rules and having an affect on others health 5 years later and it is still happening. They always say we will take care of it or to take a picture of them doing it. Like that is ever going to happen.

I originally moved here in 2009. In 2011 I moved away, for 10 months. But I returned 2012. I like this community, I have friends living here. I referred several friends here in the past. I am happy here , it is my home. I would just like to be “ “appreciated” ! In the original lease my garage was included in rent, now I have to pay extra ! WHY ? Stupid! Just more money in corporate pocket ! What about the people that don’t get raises each year? Our income stays same, yet every year more money for our rent.

I have not been on site very long but so far I am very happy with this place. The staff is very friendly. The maintenance team on the grounds are very friendly. I am a bit confused about some of the rules in the lease agreement. For instance, it says no barbecues or smokers, but I see multiple units that have barbecues and smokers on their back patios and porches.
