They had my truck towed for back in parking without ensuring I had been notified. They did this to three of us at the same time. It could have been more thoughtful and saved us the expense and problems. While I disagree that this should be a general rule for those of us who park in front of our garages, I would have parked as required if I had known.

Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. In response to the parking rules. Every apartment in December was posted a notice advising of the new regulations starting in January with bullet point notes of what was changing. Signs were posted throughout the community prior to the start of the new policy. There was adequate notice provided. We are sorry your vehicles was towed but we can only provide the advance notifications and hope all goes well. Thanks again for taking the time to leave us this information. It’s great so far! I love living here and there’s nothing to complain about, living here is great and I like how convenient everything is, I also like how close everything is to me too! You guys take really good care of the grounds and it always looks really great! The work that was done in my apartment has always been appreciated and done well!

I have had an amazing experience here at meadowlawn. My fiance and I both work really tiresome jobs and to come home to not just a great townhouse to live in but to such a cute little community area in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Salem - it is so incredible to have that where we live. If I got for a walk in the evening I feel completely comfortable and generally safe as well. Just a great place to live!

MEADOWLAWN GETS BETTER EVERY YEAR SINCE I ARRIVED 3 YRS AGO NOW I AM IN MY "HAPPY PLACE" APT! Overall, Meadowlawn was a great place to live, due mostly to the community itself. I don't like change much as I'm getting older, it's harder to bend to other's desires and sometimes, one must move on. I have moved on, to my hometown, I was fortunate to be able to find a place here and to actually be able to move, it's not easy now days. I feel fortunate to have met a number of wonderful people in the last 10 plus years, and have many fun and strange experiences with some of them, lol, and I thank you all for that. I've been here three months and am very happy so far. I'm looking forward to getting around Meadowlawn more when the weather warms up, including the golf course. The only thing that is unpleasant here is the noise from the interstate, which sounds like a constant rumbling of thunder.

Now that I have been transferred to a different building, away from smokers and abrasive neighbors, I am very very happy living here. My apartment is lovely, modern, with nice appliances. Neighbors are very quiet, courteous.

Verified Resident, we truly appreciate your honest feedback. At this time, has been mentioned, we are not a smoke free community. Lease states 25 feet away from buildings. We post notices on offending buildings and reminders in our monthly newsletters. Residents are responsible to abide by all lease regulations. Management does respond but not all response is well received. We abide by the lease agreement. We do thank you for your response and are aware living in a community that allows outside smoking can be challenging for some. We love our dog park as well and see how often it is being used by our residents. We do appreciate our residents and enjoy hearing daily the positive comments so many have made. We will continue to strive making Meadowlawn a place to call home.

NOT 55 and up-will take anyone to fill up empty space! Look carefully before going here. Outside areas near clubhouse kept up but other resident streets in terrible shape. Not all property here is owned by Meadowlawn and others are a mess of tacky apartments with really poor ratty grounds and upkeep and bashed in cars and weedy cracked driveways. Too bad. Probably why they can't fill up with 55+ as retirees expect better. Trash cans always sitting out. Streets seriously flood in winter from drainage issues not fixed. Some patios flood. Residents have to buy their own flood barriers. Very constant noise from I5. Maintenance repairs done if asked but office staff not good.

Hi Anonymous, we appreciate your honest review. We set a high standard for ourselves, so we are disappointed to hear that your experience with us was not a positive one. The community by law allows up to 20% of residents between the ages of 18-54 years. 80% is 55+ in age. You are correct that we do not manage all the properties on the Bayonne Drive. We wish we did. Our properties are managed and maintained. The back portion sits lower and in severe unusual winters such as we had this past year did create some flooding issues in areas in of the property. We sit lower than Lancaster Dr. The trash bins are centrally located for our residents use. Work orders are monitored as reported to the office. We truly wish your experience would have been better and hope some of this explains any questions you may have had and you could always contact the office. Pet friendly. However the 25 lb limit is not enforced. Landscaping is excellent. Many improvements have been made this past year. Needs better street lighting,. We do have a sense of a community which I enjoy and I find it is a friendly place

I have alot of neighbors that are now my friends. We work to help each other out and help when we can. Allot of us have little dogs so we walk and talk together. We share when we can and meet at the pool in the summer for a cool down.

Meadowlawn host a monthly resident event that is advertised in our monthly newsletter distributed around the 1st of each month. As we have mentioned to our residents inquiring about special interest groups, a sign up sheet could be posted in both clubhouses inviting interested parties to meet up and establish dates and times for a group of residents to meet. We are more than happy to have our valued residents utilities our newly remodeled clubhouse. Nice apartment, noisy from airport helicopters and street noise from road. We had our car broken into so be careful where you park. Washer and drier always in use. Need more and friendlier price. Overall nice for a short stay

The apartments are updated and very pretty and functional.Maintenance is superb,and the trees beautiful. There are flowers and well-kept front porches everywhere. However, if you do not smoke, do not move here. Cigarette smoke is rampant and comes in deck door, front door, windows. High percentage of smokers and most community areas are affected. My wife and I moved in a few months ago and unfortunately have a downstairs unit. The person above us is loud, very heavy footed, always dropping heavy things, is up until 1:00 a.m. almost every night. He has a bed that squeaks and thumps loudly, and we are privy to any and all sexual activities. We can hear him urinate into the toilet. The timbers in the ceiling crack extremely loudly wherever he walks. We do not sleep well, nor is it a pleasure to be in our living room. The conditions are unfit for enjoyment of one's home, at least for us. We plan on breaking our lease for these reasons.
