Very well maintained place to live. I like walking my dog around. I like the dog park very much and I am happy that poop bags are provided. The property maintains the pool really well and also the laundry room is clean.

The office staff are amazing!! They are sooo helpful when I go to see them. I have one major complaint, the garbage service! They will only take 2 bags even after a weekend or if it’s a holiday or weather with 3 days without service

Re Grounds: Not too happy when residents toss their unwanted flyers or advertisement notices they don't want. Not sure who is responsible for picking them up. Re Security: Not sure of when they should be driving thru out complex. Evening? Days? How many drive throughs? Re Neighborhood: This is over 55 community. Schools N/A

This is the cleanest most well taken care of apartment complex I have ever been at. The staff was amazing and the online experience was easy and very convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for the best place to live in Salem.

Nice Senior living experience. Golf course available at a discount to residents. Close to I-5 access. Variety of food places within close proximity to residence. Maintenance personnel are always quick and friendly to fix any problems.

Overall, we have enjoyed living at Meadowlawn. Really good location. Pleasant surroundings. Great maintenance staff! Close to shopping and restaurants. Easy freeway access going east,west,north or south. We're here for another year!

The community manager is friendly, knowledgeable and great to work with. We have seen a lot change in other office staff since we have been here.. It is a very comfortable place to live and the unit offers great amenities as we have a garage, a yard, a fireplace and washer and dryer hook-ups. It feels like we live in a house. The community amenities are great and so are my neighbors.

During the three years I have lived here I have been very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the quick response of the maintenance staff and the upkeep of the community. The staff is very courteous in notifying residents of future dates and times when contractors will be onsite making improvements or updating the buildings and grounds of Meadowlawn Apartments.

Mostly quiet, somewhat friendly. Tired of the alcoholic breaking the rules in the pool area. Residents drinking with glass bottles of booze. Manager has done nothing. We have had 2 car stolen out of the carport next car. Ask for security lights and cameras for 2 yrs. Then now there are many people under 55+ living here as this is supposed to be a 55+ Community. Good part. There are a couple good residents.

I have lived here for 3 years. It is an exceptional place to live. I feel safe walking through the community. They offer many different styles of apartments. The amenities that are available are wonderful. Maintenance and Landscape staff are friendly and do outstanding work.

Quiet and beautiful lots of parking grounds are clean laundry rooms are clean some friendly people the maintenance crew are awesome. The landscaping crew are very good at keeping up the ground. The door trash pickup is a plus

I have been very happy living here. I feel safe, it’s a quiet, friendly community. The office staff and maintenance staff are always friendly and quick to respond. The only thing I would like to see change is that the rent doesn’t go up every single year.

Every time I do laundry I have to drag it to the laundromat, In the community, Deal with errors on the card as I try to enter it in the washers and dryers. And hope that there is a washer and dryer open when I get there. This is a 55 and older community we should not have to take our laundry to a laundromat , we're too old for this.

Moved here in August. I’ve asked for a couple things to fixed and they were done so promptly. The staff is competent and friendly. My only complaints are, probably more quality related, no laundry in unit and the machines in the laundry rooms don’t always work right. Sometimes the clothes coming out of the are not wrung out properly. I love the unit but nobody cleaned the shelves in the closet. I had to vacuum them out. The water is terrifying. It’s either scalding or cold. Very difficult finding a happy medium because then the water pressure drops. The carpet I’m not sure if it was new but it looks like elephants sleep on my floors. There is only me and the animals. I vacuum daily. I hardly use that room because my desk space is in my bedroom. Painting. Paint drips, flaking paint just really poorly done. Also as a side note, there a mushrooms that grow in the dog park that are never removed. I’m not sure if they are toxic to animals or not. As I said I really like the apartment, the grounds look fine to me, it’s clean, private and quiet. Most of the residents are very pleasant. Some cranky but to be expected. The staff is responsive and respectful. I really, really appreciate that.

I had an electric heater problem this year. The heater is located in the dining room area. It was fixed the same day. The service couldn't get any better then that! The maintenance man was very friendly. Keep up the good work sir!!

Love the pools! I'm originally from Los Angeles, CA. so it means the world to me as a swimmer/surfer! Just got me a Honda motorcycle and it fits very nicely next to my parking space. I'm pretty much useless on the golf course (terrible at golf) but I sure love the ambiance of the greens,

Meadowlawn has been a great move for me. When I sold my house, I wanted to be somewhere safe and quiet and have less responsibility for repairs, etc. I feel very safe here, and although I can hear traffic noise from the freeway, Ive gotten used to it and it j ust becomes white noise. My needs have been met!

MIt's been okay. Not necessarily stellar. If I was in Better Health, and had more funds, I would probably move to a larger place. The principal positive aspect of living here is that for the most part it's very quiet with the exception of wind work is being done such as tree trimming and the like
