I loved how friendly the staff was and maintenance always on top of things. It is such a nice and beautiful place to live. I would've loved to have stayed. The office staff are incredible. They put together events once a month for their residents to enjoy and interact with each other. Living at Meadowlawn was such an amazing time and I was sad to have left.

We had some minor maintenance to be done and the maintenance team was at my unit knocking on my door before I knew it, I have never seen a maintenance team responding that quickly very impressive. We love this complex have some opportunities for our pets such as doggie parks pet parades and also other activities this complex is very pet friendly and all the staff is really nice when you come in their office with your pets, there are always doggie treats and special petting for the dogs which makes their pets feel very comfortable.

We have no complaints! The price works for us, love that we can wash clothes while we either shoot pool, swim, watch TV, exercise, work on a puzzle... This is a very quiet place, except for the beautiful geese that fly on to the golf course through out the winter. Maintenance is quick to respond and seem to really care about your concerns, very friendly!

Really this is redundant, we are cold and paying to much to stay here past our contract, the only thing that you could do is take away the fee for early termination of our contract. really this is redundant.

Oh my goodbess everything was well maintained and all the staff was extremely nice and they show thoughtfulness and i can say that was the BEST experience I've ever had!! All the staff was ready to help with any of my questions or concerns regarding to moving in and their answers were very resourceful and knowledgeable and it was just a great experience going in there!

This has been a very kind place to live. I have met many of my neighbors. My upstairs neighbor takes out my trash every week and checks on me now and then. Management and staff have been great to work with. I plan to stay here for many years.

We love it here. We feel safe within Meadowlawn's perimeter. I gave a low rating for neighborhood access because there is a horrible drug problem in this part of Salem. We drive 20 minutes or more to get to a safe park. There are homeless & druggies with signs all over this part of Salem. It's very sad and a bit frightening. Again, Meadowlawn feels safe. I wish there were a few benches in Meadowlawn. I like to walk but I recently had surgery so I need an occasional sit down break. I don't feel safe walking at the nearby parks or outside Meadowlawn.

1)The occupants of the Apartment next to mine do not pick up their dog droppings. There should be some dog sanitation stations next to the open lawn areas. 2)The area between the duck pond is less than 4 feet to the waters edge to the Patio Deck. I reported this to the maintainence crew chief. As of todays date 10/13/18 The walk path is not repaired and there will be erosion by the winter rains. this will undermine the Patio Deck. I have reported theft of Fed Ex Deliveries to the front door to the Sheriff recently

The grounds, noise level and maintenance are excellent. ..the quality of the residence's is not at the level that is advertised. The rent just doesn't equal the quality. The amenities of the property is however of excellent condition. . Love the maintenance crew. Respectful and timely..I would recommend with exceptions...

When issues arrive Meadowlawn appears to turn a blind eye before trying to resolve the issue. I love my apartment layout and appearance. Manager seems to be away quite often. If the staff would walk the property daily they would see the items that need attention. The fact that this is a 55 and better community and legally 20% can reside here at as low as 18 years old. This greatly changes the dynamics of the considered respect rules of living in an apartment. More disrespectful actions from the not seasoned residents.

Meadowlawn residents are friendly but not intrusive. It’s an excellent area for a walk. Many residents stop and visit. The pool table is fun, whether pool is your strength or not. The swimming pool is fun, even if you want to enjoy it from the sidelines! The fitness room has a variety of machines, something for every fitness level. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

I have lived here over a year and a half. Very pleased and like the place very much. I have found the staff of office personnel and maintenance to be efficient and caring. Quiet and relaxed.As an older working man it is sufficient but pretty much geared around retirees. Most community functions are set during my work hours.Like most apartments there is no place to do maintenance on vehicles or do gardening.

I have lived here for 18 years and have really enjoyed my life here. It's close to everything I want and need, and I love living on a golf course. My carpet is completely shot, but that's the price you pay for putting down roots in an apartment. This is my home, and I have been very happy here. However, the downside is that the number and amount of rent increases is way too much for an old man on a fixed income. My cost to live here has gone up 70% since moving here in 2000, and the time is coming when I won't be able to afford to stay here. This place was affordable housing for seniors when I moved here, but the frequency and amount of rent increases has taken it out of that category for those like me that depend on Social Security and a small pension for income. I love it here, but if rent increases continue as they have been I'll probably end up under a bridge somewhere.

Nice quiet place to live. Landscaping is gorgeous living on the golf course. The staff is very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I love having two pools to choose from and love them both. The clubhouse is just beautiful and Kathy has done a wonderful job keeping it up to date.

Noise from the I-5 is constant. It affects the golfing experience as well. Living room is a good size and so is the master bedroom. Everything else is pretty average by apartment standards, although our view is excellent - very open and green. Our neighbors are quiet and are nice people, too.

Only been here a short time, but I'm very happy with my new home so far. Only down side is highway noise, but it's fairly insignificant. Good freeway access; close to city bus lines, grocery store, & shopping. I plan on getting lots of use out of the gym equipment and swimming pools. I understand there's a BBQ when the pools are opened up, really looking forward to that:-)) There are several places to walk your dog and interact with other pet owners.
