I’ve lived at WestoverClub for 3 years and would’ve continued if not for job’s sake. Extremely quiet and peaceful place, awesome (family-like, never complaining??) neighbors, Regular police patrol for safety, Ample parking, Neatly maintained Gym, pool and surroundings, above all its very close to schuylkill trail. Perfect place for families to live. Rent is reasonable and competitive with other communities around. Staff is prompt, understanding and diligent in helping residents.

So I moved in a year ago and had a terrible experience with the entire management team the entire time. Just rude, unhelpful etc. we just got a new manager Eileen Wilcox and it’s just a night and day difference from the moment she got here. She is warm and helpful and has made every interaction a delightful one.

I am extremely happy with my choice to move to Westover Club Apartments. The atmosphere is peaceful. Staff has been friendly and amazing. My process to move in was a smooth transition from start to finish. Friendly neighbors and a quiet and peaceful view. I enjoy the cleanliness of the grounds, the laundry room is great. I am looking forward to the warmer weather when the pool opens.

happy I chose Westover, happier now than a year ago... New management is respectful, while maintaining a professional environment. Properties are always a work in progress and I've seen that here, new equipment in the gym, new washers & dryers, landscape revamped to help with drainage. A dog park, pet friendly is always a plus. beautiful views. As tenants we must remember to help keep the place we call home clean, pick up after your pets bags are available through the premises and we have designated dumpsters for regular garbage and recycle, lets abide by those policies to continue to enjoy our rental homes. Rent increase is a forever topic, but unfortunately it happens on every other rentals, I guess the pandemic isn't making things any better. Response for repairs is decent, Maintenance staff is also effective in addressing issues that come up and when they come up.

I love living here because the atmosphere is very friendly and quiet. The staff here are courteous and all maintenance issues are addressed promptly. They also host community events to bring the community together in an effort to get to know one another. Westover Club Apartments represents inclusion and diversity in the community.

This was my second move within 2 months. Coming from a nightmare my nerves were shot. I was so afraid of a repeat from the last place. Bad odors filth all over. Westover became a breath of sunshine for me. I couldn't have found a more understanding and extremely helpful woman to work with. ZUZANNA she kept me at ease and assured me that I was at the right place and will absolutely love everything. Zuzanna really went above and beyond to show me everything will be alright . I was so reluctant but i took the apartment. A few things were not right and bam! It was taken care of right then and there. Maintenance couldn't be any more efficient, friendly and helpful. I feel like I'm finally in a place I can call home and not have to move for a long time!! The community actually has activities as well!! I guarantee anyone reading this, if you are thinking about living here DO IT! Don't think too long or you will lose out. Not to mention the beautiful properties view! On a golf course!

I have been living here for the last 10 months. My apartment doesn't get any sunlight at any point in the day so it is extremely dark (will depend on your unit's location). My biggest complaint here is how thin the walls are. I can hear everything my neighbors do (talk, use the bathroom!!, cook, sing, watch tv, etc) and have had the pleasure of my upstairs neighbor's puppy barking wake me up every morning at 6:15am. If you have to take 422 to work, don't move here. The traffic to get on the ramp takes 30 minutes alone every day. The price was fine but has since gone up, never used maintenance, appliances were fine. No in unit laundry was a bit of a hassle and refilling the laundry card means going to the A building gym. I have also had a huge ant problem and routinely find silverfish in my bathroom. I would not move here again.

We just moved out in September 2014 and have positive feedback on this community. The Maintenance staff was one of the strongest benefits. They were quick, responsive and proactive. The community is quiet and the neighbors are quite friendly. The leasing office occasionally would provide tenant appreciation activities such as bagged lunches/breakfast each spring, barbeques in the summer and a holiday party at the end of the year. There are options to rent apartments with washer/dryers and some without. The kitchens are on the small side, but have most amenities such as dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator, oven, hood, etc. The units are central air and heat. The patios are nice, but some of the 2nd floor patios need concrete repairs. Westover has made some improvements over the past year, such as painting and laying new carpet in the hallways. I understand that there was some paving and curb work done recently in the parking lots. The only advice that I would caution prospective renters about is the recent spike in annual rent increases. In 2012 and 2013, rent rose $10-20, which is nominal. In 2014, the leasing office raised the rent by $50. I understand that this is a good complex, but they are not luxury apartments either. These are older buildings and it seems like Westover is getting a tad greedy with the annual increases. The tenants shouldn't see $50 increases just because paint, carpet and some repaving has been done. These are O&M costs and are investments that the apartment should absorb to keep the properties properly maintained. The other item is with the renewal notices, Scully tried to limit extensions to 6, 10 and 14 month leases. Don't be afraid to challenge them on offering 12 month renewals. It should be an automatic option as with most apartment communities. It was odd that Scully offered 12 month options in 2012 and 2013 renewal notices, but not in 2014. Overall, I would highly suggest this community. The leasing office is good. They recently went through some staffing changes with their leasing consultant and director. The new leasing consultant is a tad lazy, but the leasing coordinator and maintenance staff more than make up for it. They recently terminated the leasing director for leaving early one day. It's a shame because she was really responsive and helpful. I even started a vegetable garden because of her flexibility. Just monitor the annual rent increases. Solid community!

My wife and I have lived at the Westover Club Apts. for the passed year now, I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff, cleanliness and maintenance! If we ever had any problem with being locked out or needed a hand with anything around our apartment, the maintenance staff would reply quickly and promptly! Also, there is plenty of parking available! Another thing, we never once had an issue were neighbors were too loud and we noticed quickly that the walls were NOT paper thin like other apartment complexes! Last but not least they are very pet friendly and would clean and change animal waste bins they had conveniently available throughout the property! Not to mention they are right next to a golf course and the Schukill river bike trail! If you'd ask me for my opinion, I'd definitely suggest looking into making the Westover Club apartments your next home! GS CS.... P.S. they have a swimming pool that is 3' to 9' deep to cool down in the summer time!

My wife and I have lived at Westover Club Apartments since 2007 and just recently moved out the first week of August. We moved because we were tired of climbing up the steps to the second floor and wanted something with less carpet and more efficient. The good of the property certainly outweighed the bad. Some of the good is that Scully Company owns the property. We had issues with our neighbors aggressive dog and they were more then accomidating with resolving the issue, they even offered to terminate my lease early with no penalties even after signing a year lease less then one month prior just to get away from this neighbor, ultimatly, He left we stayed. The maintanenance is extremely knowledgable and efficient. If it was just a routine call they were always there within an hour or so after the call. The office staff was freindly but not always available. The only issue we had with bugs of ANY kind were the centipedes. They were always there to welcome you when you turned the light on but a broom which was my centipede killer took care of the problem. There were no roaches, rodents or any other bug problems. The grounds were very well maintained and well manicured. The one major bad and yet good was the energy efficiency. The property was built in the 70's so the insulation is very minimal which reacked havoc on the energy bills. All units have central heat and air so in the summer my electric bill was approximatly $325 p/m and in the winter my gas bill was approximatly $165 p/m. My apartment was the largest at 1285 Sqft But, Since it was built in that time the floors are solid concrete and the walls are pretty thick also so you very rarely hear your neighbors if at all. The lights also flicker and pulsate but they never figure out why but assured me it was safe. All in all, I would keep Westover on top of my list for future reference. We may not move back but we will recommend it to others.

A very clean place inside and outside!! I am scared of bugs especially roaches--and there was no trace of that at Westover! Also we have a baby who can cry throughout the night and because the walls are thick, it didn't bother our neighbors too much. We never heard any loud noises from our neighbors either. The place is also very safe to walk at nights with a baby. The maintainance work order is amazingly quick---usually responds in a couple of hours. Last and not least----the staff, Tamika and Pat (and the maintainance staff as well), is so friendly and professinal, they address your questions promptly with respect. There was really nothing we didn't like about this place except----limited closet spaces---compared to our previous apartment. And also it was a little pricey for us to live here with utility bills which is the reason we are moving out. But the staff made even the moving out very easy for us---what a great service! I wholeheartdely recommend this place if you can afford it! (oh the pet unit is the best because the neighbors are extremely caring and friendly)

Well, as we thought things couldn't get worse after moving here, the smell of curry is deeply embedded in our apartment and our horribly trashy neighbors had a massive public fight on the lawn. Not the best choice of apartments...

I was very happy with Westover. It was quiet, well maintained, and I never had any problems. It is off the beaten path but close to quite a few stores and restaurants. Well worth a look as it is less expensive than a few of the other communities but I can't imagine it does not offer at leaset what they do.

I have lived here for a year and half and will be moving out in October 2013 only because I will be moving closer to the city for work. I have been reading reviews on here almost all day of apartment complexes around the area since I will be moving in a few months and wanted to check these simply out of curiosity since I live there. I have never been dissapointed. For a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, this place is a perfect little home for myself and my dog. Maintenance issues have been dealt with very quickly and professionally and I deal with Pat at the main office whenever I need to call about something and she is always friendly and very helpful. Its not exactly a "top of the line" apartment with new fixtures or anything but I am a big fan of the kitchen and bedroom size. Floors are a bit old but they are clean, which is incredibly imnportant to me, especially because I always end up in the "dog buildings". Walls are a tad thin but nothing less then what you would expect from an apartment complex. I am a well to do young, single, gal and have no issues with the kind of people that live here. All very friendly and perfectly kind neighbors. I like the location too. Very quiet and safe.

No major complaints
I've been at Westover for five or six years and am for the most part pleased with the experience. I have a large three BR unit with a washer and dryer. I must agree with another reviewer that the dryer takes forever to dry a full load but I'd still rather have the convenience of it in my unit so it's a small price to pay. I've found everyone in the office to be courteous and prompt with any responses that were required. I've no complaints with the office staff at all. Maintenance is also prompt and courteous. The windows and the patio doors are new..only a couple of years old but there are serious issues with cold air coming into the unit. I was thrilled when they were replacing them thinking they would be an improvement but that's not the case. The quality is so cheap that the insulation value is nonexistant. Managment spends alot of money to keep the grounds beautiful which is evident. Some money could be spent inside the units instead. They are old buildings and do need some updating. The bathrooms are okay but old. Overall I've had no major problems and would recommend the place.

If you are like us, you will think these apartments look fairly nice from the outside. The location is SEMI convenient if you don't have to take 422 in the morning and spending 45 mins getting to KoP which is 5 miles away. I would rather pay $100 more per month and live in KoP or Wayne and for go the riff raff that seems to prefer this place (translation- white trash). This is a huge mask to trap people into feeling like they are looking at a quality rental. The actual apartment you get is complete garbage compared to the model they show you. Management spends more money on landscaping than anything having to do with the maintaining and repairs to the actual apartments. The appliances look like something from 1950s black and white movies, just so outdated and plain. The quality of tenants are so low, you will constantly look over your shoulder at who is hanging around the stairs and your apartment. Please do not be fooled like we were. STAY FAR AWAY! Do not rent from here. You will regret this decision the entire duration of your lease. Btw, be careful of the pet buildings, the entire grassy area surrounding them is full of poop. People just don't clean up after themselves and the management sends out letters saying they will do smething, when in reality, they don't care and just want your rent. Staff- the middle aged woman is rather nice to us but never seems to follow up in timely fashion. The overweight bald guy we just cannot stand. He seems condesending when he talked to us, he was nodding his head and saying "I understand" but his facial expression said "I don't really care". Couldn't wait to get out.

Overall a pleasant experience
We lived in a 1-Br apt from July 2005 to July 2006 and got a free TV and one month free. The apartment is very nice with new carpets and new appliances. The rooms are very spacious. We had visited 10 places before finally settling on this one. Its only other competition was College Arms in Collegeville. But for one reason or another we ended up in this one and never regretted the choice.

Not my best rental experience but pretty close
There's a lot of good things to say about Westover but the few negatives are enough to make me happy that I won't be renewing my lease. Maybe I'm just getting older and crabbier but I happen to like a few amenities, like heat and a working dryer. Don't get me wrong, you do have heat and a washer/dryer in some units. The windows are so cheap that you can't be within 4-5 feet of them without feeling a draft, especially the sliding glass doors--brrrr! My unit is a very large 3BR and the ventilation system is quite poor. LR is cold due to poor insulation, kitchen and DR are very comfortable. With each bedroom further down the line (maintenance's lingo, not mine), you can actually feel major changes in the temperature. My hands and feet have been blue all winter and the master BR temp is usually 58-60 deg F. The washer and dryer are stacked units so not full-size no matter what they tell you. The dryer is ventless, so it requires 2-3 hours to dry a medium-sized load. This is also a terrible waste of energy. The only other thing that really irked me is the huge gap around the front door which has allowed my neighbor's cigarette smoke to enter my apartment since they smoke in the hallway. The walls are rather thin so you can hear everybody's everything but that's apartment living. That's the bad, now for the good. Very close to everything you will need (except a good restaurant). Plenty of parking. Very large units. Reasonable rental rate. No pet rent, just non-refundable deposit and dogs are kept in certain buildings only. Maintenance is very quick, pleasant and usually doesn't need to make a second trip. Office staff is very friendly and they really want to work with you to make sure you are happy BUT make sure you put everything in writing. I had a few instances of miscommunication that wouldn't have happened if they had simply taken notes. Apartment was received in almost immaculate condition. I don't give this place my highest recommendation because I would gladly trade a fitness center and a few other amenities for an apartment with an overall temp of 68 degrees and a dryer that would finish a load of laundry in one afternoon; but that's just me.

Nice and professional leasing staff
I must say that I am very impressed with this complex. I admit I wasn't expecting anything special from a Norristown complex (Westover Village comes to mind) but even in this area you can find some quality bargains. First of all, I got a great deal on an 1 bedroom (they gave me $500 off 2nd months rent). So I am paying couple of hundred dollars less for my apt than I did elsewhere and the place is even nicer. The man I dealt with was very accommodating and professional and seemed like he really wanted to help me in every way possible to make my transition smooth. The application process was quick and painless and I was settled into my apt in just a couple of days. The apt was spotless and nicely cleaned up. I was back at the leasing office on Sat too get a fitness center membership and the blonde girl there was super nice and cool to talk to. she also seemed like she was really trying to help me with my questions and wasn't rude or snooty at all like some leasing staff can be at other places. The "fitness center" is cheap but is pretty limited in equipment so I doubt that I will be joining. I also wish that I had a washer and dryer in my apt but oh well. Overall, I am really happy here and hope to stay for a while.
