I would strongly look into renting elsewhere. I have lived here since 2019 and gradually have witnessed this property's decline. In three years I have witnessed 3 different management companies and over 5 different Property Managers come and go. I'm sure there is a reason for that. The quality of living is low. The response from the office staff takes forever. This used to be luxury living and it no longer is. Don't let the "nice amenities" fool you. The parking situation is atrocious and the upkeep of the property is terrible. There's always trash everywhere. It's actually become pretty gross. Not to mention the strong smell of marijuana lingering across the property.

Started smoothly but issues have arisen. Ever since it transferred to Sync issues have become more prominent. It feels like staff in the office are often gone. The available hours don't coincide well with the schedule of teachers.

I moved into SYNC in May 2022. It has been the best moving experience ever (I have moved every year for the last 5 years). I am so thankful for the office accommodating my requests and ensuring a CLEAN apartment to move into.

It's been great living here, ever since moving in. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The have started frequently cleaning and servicing common areas. Any maintenance requests are dealt with promptly. They have started taking care of the parking issues as well. Plus they have been doing frequent resident activities.

The apartment is great and convenient to downtown Dallas and multiple restaurants. The staff is great and there are so many amenities including bar it's so great. It's a very clean propert as well. Best choice

The lease signing and move in was a simple process. There was a little confusion on the move in date but they were able to get it worked out. I've only been here less than a week but I hope everything stays up to par because I don't want to move again.

In the past I've been able to make my rental payments without late fees, management was understanding. However there is a new system who he I'm happy about however I'll Have to pay a lump sum before I can set up the plan.

My experience as SYNC at west Dallas has been absolutely amazing so far. The complex has wonderful amenities, great management, and very clean. The community is very engaged as well from doing events on a monthly basis and making sure to keep the guest/residents very happy. I would absolutely recommend to anyone sync at west dallas

So far so good no complaints on this side and just a great complex and location! I really like the modern and upscale feel as well as the style of the amenities in and out of the apartment and complex...The no smoking even on your balcony is a little much but I get it !

Well situated and nice complex. Staff has been helpful. Easy access to multiple shops and walking trails. Management has turned over multiple times, but current staff is friendly and seems well informed.

Horrible. Avoid at all costs. The property failed to take seriously 6-8 formal complaints of mold, until it got to the point where I became extremely physically I'll. We had to move out immediately, and went to a hotel until we figured out our living arrangements. Sync never offered to put us up, and only sent us a document with a NON-Disclosure agreement basically, to keep quiet about the mold and severe mistreatment by the office staff including, and especially by the property manager Kristi Dean. Avoid living here at all costs. There are hundreds of better properties in dallas, where the staff will treat you like a human being.

The property has gone downhill especially since the new ownership took over. The common areas are not kept clean (stairways and hallways are especially gross) and security feels like it's continuing to decline.

The overall process was very straightforward and was quite pleasant to complete. The amenities here are plentiful and well kept. They have many lounges, sky rooms, multiple pool tables, a large outdoor pool, a two-story workout facility, and a dog grooming area. I had the pleasure of working with Dani on the application and move-in process. She was very polite, respectful, and willing to get answers as fast and best as she could! I also met with the apartment manager Kristie, and she was extremely polite, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order and I had answers to any questions! All the employees I have met here have all been extremely nice and respectful! I highly recommend this place!

Please see the comments I left in the work order questionnaire. The in-unit maintenance staff is elite-level, and they should be commensurately compensated and protected. The last two owners/management companies have been on-par, and I really hope that that continues to be the base expectations for the new owners. I am supportive and will always promote the labor provided by support staff, I just hope that the new owners care at least half as much as the residents and laborers as do the residents and laborers themselves.

This community is primarily people of ---------------- descent who recreationally partake in loud parties while using illicit drugs. I felt unsafe and like I was in the -------which literally is where this location is. Very few people appeared to have a job. The smell of weed, pit bulls and rap music was prevalent. Management was extremely lazy and uneducated.

Magament staff is amazing and very professional. Alma sold me on living here during my tour. Very nice apartments as well in a fun area. The two story gym and pool will be getting a lot of use very soon.

Sadly, we are waiting for our lease to be done but we might break it and runaway from this place. Sure the location is great and staff is too but when they start having open events to the public that puts everyone's safety on the line. I don't understand why they need to attract even more people that way instead of just having a private party for their residents. Invest that money into the current residents and they would value their homes a lot more. I see their marketing strategy but they need to understand not everyone is okay will public events when they see strangers walking around their property leaving their children unattended. We live on the first floor and it's a little small but we decided we would make it work. Nope, this place is for singles that are right out of college or are currently in school. The parking is the WORST. The spaces are incredibly small and residents don't care to park correctly. Some I've noticed have multiple vehicles so those spaces are indefinitely taken. I've parked on the top level due to no parking on the first floor and also because a space is too small due to being next to the stone pillars. Trash bins are located outside near the entrances of the parking garage, but the smell is horrendous. I would rather have valet pick it up weekly at our doorstep instead of creating huge piles of trash and cardboard boxes everywhere. When residents move in, you can tell. They trash their old furniture and tv boxes next to the bins by the end of the weekend, it's even hard to walk by. (But that worst) We expected so much because we were sold on the lifestyle and community but residents have taken that to the next level. We are so done with this place.

My boyfriend and I just moved to Dallas from Ohio a few months ago. We scoured the city of Dallas for an apartment, but continued to come up short. That was until we walked into the Alexan West Dallas. The employees, the complex and it's immentities are incredible. The location is wonderful - 5 minute drive to Deep Ellum, Uptown and Downtown. Trinity Groves is right around the corner and within the next year I believe West Dallas will be the new "it" location in the city with the amount of development that's happening there. I can't imagine living anywhere else in Dallas.

Best place to live in Dallas! All the staff is super friendly and helpful all the time! My move in was really easy and fast. The apartments and extremely nice, modern, and clean. Great vibe with all neighbors they are also very welcoming and friendly. Easy access to highways, bars, and restaurants!

I'm beginning to wonder if the reviews for this apartment complex are real or if the residents are just delusional. I cannot make this review from my actual Yelp page, given that I am still a resident here and I am concerned that they will stick me with bogus charges when I move out. Let me give you the real deal on this place. The complex itself is great, well maintained, and considering that it is brand new, all of the appliances inside of the apartment home are grand! Now for the ugly, no matter how nice a place looks, it still doesn't make up for its location. Don't get me wrong, the area is up and coming, but it's just not there yet. There have been numerous apartment and car break-ins, car thefts, and the security here is not the best and there are not really many cameras around the property either. Parking has become horrendous, people park outside of the lines, taking up two spaces, and the complex does nothing at all to fix this issue. I could go on and on about the issues about this place, but I honestly do not feel as if some of these reviews on this page are real. Move here with caution is what I have to say and if you don't want to worry about parking, you could always pay $75 for a spot on top of your more then likely minimum $1300 rent. The amount of crime that these apartments have experienced have made me want to move and the lack of heightened security for the safety of the residents and their property from the complex has REALLY made me want to move. I'm not sure if they will stick me with bogus charges for writing this, but if they do, I'll be sure to post it here for your review. My apartment is exactly the same as it was when I first moved in and I have video proof of this from when I first moved here. Plus, my lawyers will see that this isn't something that I just made up either. Proceed with caution when moving here guys. That's all I have to say on it.

I have been at Alexan West since March. I moved from Frisco to be closer to work, and I'm so happy I chose here to live. The staff up front is super helpful in any situation. Fav thing about the property is the package lockers due to my work hours, it makes things very convenient. Also, free wifi in all the common areas if I need to work from home is nice too. Overall, great place.
